The 38th Matsu no Tsukasa sake tasting party It's been a while, but... We went to the Matsu-no-Mochi Koshizukai by the Matsu-no-Mochi Koshizukai and the Matsuse Sake Brewery. The most impressive thing was the Jun Dai Ryuoh Yamadanishiki made in different soils, and we compared sakes made in the same way in four different areas. I wondered if my tongue could tell the difference, but it was completely different! It's important where the rice is grown 😳. The light flavor of Yamanaka district is my favorite ❣️ My favorite sake at a price I can drink at home is Jungin Mizuki from Summer Sake. Low alcohol, clear taste, sweet and easy to drink. The other kuzo who came said it tasted more robust than the last one. I would love to drink it at home 😊. We also had one paid tasting, AZOLLA 35. Tastes good enough to compare with the 50 ✨. It was a meaningful time chatting with Kuuzo and his familiar liquor store and learning about water and rice from the brewer 🙏.

Kyoto Takashimaya Sake Festival (5) I told them I was a fan of Hanamup and was allowed to taste it, Suitama Jungin Unfiltered Nama Sweet and fruity, more refreshing than Ryoseki! Sake Eats Yamahai Junmai. Sweet! I was recommended to drink it with soda! Setsu-Getsu-Ka Jun-Daiya! Very beautifully sweet and delicious! And Ryoseki Jungin Unfiltered was recommended to me first! The most sweet and fruity taste! Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol 16 degrees The first or second day, when you open it, it has a nice aroma, sweet, umami, fruity, and a little spicy. It is hard to recognize it even if it is called "Hanamup". On the 3rd day, it smells like melon when you open it. When you drink it, it is juicy like a ripe melon! But it has a clean aftertaste... Very tasty ❣️ I told them that the Akita Sake Komachi from Hana Yuu was delicious and that it tasted less sweet, but it seems that the rice is hard to dissolve, so it tastes like that! I asked them to make other sake in four-packs as well 🙏.

Kyoto Takashimaya Sake Festival (3) Higashi Rikishi and Kaygetsu with Usagi-Goden who came almost by turns ♪ Junmai Ginjo Drunken Summer 12 It tastes fresh like watermelon! Junmai Drunken Summer Nama Sake. More robust taste than Junmai Ginjyo. Easy to drink too! And Kaygetsu still prefers Aikawa Homare It's an easy drinking Yamahai 😊. The brewer was very funny 😆. Sorry I only remember it as interesting 💦. Usagi-san knows a lot about sake, so I learned a lot from the conversation with the brewery staff! Thank you for your time 🙇.

Kyoto Takashimaya Sake Festival (2) The sake brewery that I was interested in after reading bouken's review was here... Junmai Daiginjo Takamayuwaizu! They recommended this one to me because it's not easy to drink 😂. I can only say that it tastes very beautiful and delicious! Daiginjo Shizuku-kari. Surprisingly, it has a rich sweet and umami taste! Junmai Daiginjo Mahoroba no Shizuku Delicious with a hint of sweetness I told the staff at the brewery that I like sweet and fruity, and they recommended the Junmai Daiginjo 😂. All of them were delicious, but it's a shame we didn't get to try any of the ones we could have 💦. The fourth one was Yamagata's dashi soba noodles! It was my first time to try it! The cucumber, eggplant, etc. were crispy and the textures were interesting and delicious!

I have the "disease that makes me want to drink 14yo" as Hiro-san said 😷. I've been drinking 3 kinds to boost my immune system 💉. Honmaru Secret Tamagashi. It's sweet and goes with everything! It's my favorite for some reason: ❣️ Nakadori unfiltered! Freshly opened! Chiri-chiri-chiri-chiri-chiri-chiri-chiri-chi! Well-balanced soft sweetness and umami, beautiful taste! Araubashiri Kamimoroshiro Hon Nama Chirichiri, sour and fruity! The most modern taste I've ever had in a Jyushiyo 😳. We enjoyed it with hamo sashimi, yellowtail kama, umaki, etc. 😊.

I missed opening it on Shinsei Day💦. 100% Akita Sake Komachi Koji rice 55%, Kake rice 60% polished rice Alcohol 13 degrees Aroma: Slightly white wine, sweeter than the last one, clearly sweet and sour, with a slight wine taste, and more like sake. I was going to go to Himeji to buy some, but I didn't think I could make it in time for the ume-hunting day💦. So, I made my first purchase! The third one, also marked on the gummed tape 😆. Polishing ratio 70%. Alcohol 20 I drank just a lick. Rice! The pure rice! It is! And oh! That's the alcohol 😆. We make it every year and let it age for 3 years. Let's see what it tastes like! A long-awaited drink at Mr. Machida's house! I couldn't find Machida-san anytime I went there. I went there for another reason and found 🩵🖤🩷😳. I was thinking 🩵🩵 since it's summer... but I went for the 🩷🩷 label, which is never a bad thing! 100% Omachi from Okayama Prefecture Polishing ratio 55 Alcohol 16%. When the bottle is opened, the fruity and sweet aroma wafts through the air even from 1 meter away 💕. The first sip is refreshing, but after a little while, you can taste the sweetness! And bitterness at the end! On the 2nd and 3rd day, it is still fruity, but the sweetness has settled down and the balance of sweetness and acidity is good. The bitterness is still the same. I like sweet, but I think it's easier to drink this much 🤔. It's been a while since I almost slurped it down. Kiken kiken💦.

This is the one that the liquor store recommended to me that they have started to carry. This is my first time to drink it. Polishing ratio 65 Alcohol 14%. Gorgeous aroma, chirichiri! Fruity, umami, and bitterness. It is easy to drink and goes well with meals due to its fruity flavor, although it does not have much sweetness! On the second day, the umami was up↑, the bitterness was almost gone, and it was the most delicious. ❣️ On the third day, the umami has decreased, but it is still fruity and easy to drink! Long time no see cosmos ♪ 100% Modified Nobukou Koji rice 50%, Kake rice 60% polished rice Alcohol 13 degrees Celsius Wine-like aroma. I thought it might be sour, but it has just the right amount of sweet and sourness. It has a good balance of sourness and sweetness. And a little bitterness at the end. The next day, it becomes more rounded and tastes even better. ❣️ On the third day, I drank the remaining half lukewarm and half cold 😆. When heated up, it didn't taste like wine, but rather like sake due to the umami of the rice plus the acidity, and it went well with cold tofu! The cold sake was delicious with pasta with eggplant and bacon in tomato sauce! Lukewarm sake in my right hand and chilled sake in my left hand, not very polite, but it was fun 🤭!

Sabu, first time drinking at home in 3 years ♪ You have to say Kitajima to recognize the label💦. Recommended by the liquor store Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol 16%. Apple? Muscat? Refreshing flavor No sweetness or umami, just a refreshing taste. Pungent and crisp at the end. As the temperature rises, there is a slight sweetness from the rice. The more the day goes by, the more umami is felt. On the fourth day, the fruity taste is gone, but there is a fresh and soft sweetness and umami. Going to the 100 Great Castles (2) Before going to Komoro Castle, we went to Ueda Castle. We took time to look around the museum and other facilities. After that, we went to Okazaki Sake Brewery. We enjoyed looking at goods and ceramic hina dolls. 100% Yamae-Nishiki from Nagano Prefecture Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol 15%. Fruity aroma, chili-chili-chili-chili-chili-chili-chili-chili Soft sweetness and acidity, a little bitterness and spiciness. It is easy to drink and everyone likes the taste. Gradually the sweetness increases and the bitterness decreases, settling down on the 4th day. The 3rd day is my favorite ❣️ On this day, there were two kinds of Kinkame on sale. I was with my husband. The store said "you can buy another bottle". I said, "I'll have this one." They were a little surprised lol. It was the moment when I realized once again how popular it is that people buy one bottle each.

Going to the 100 Great Castles (1) I strolled around the ruins of Komoro Castle on the day after the Nakasendo walking tour. There is a train passing through from the Ote-mon gate, but there are still some old buildings, so it's good to wander around 👣. Before going to the castle, we stopped by Iwaiya Sake Shop. My favorite sake was Ding! I was worried about the regular Jungin, but it was hot that day, so I went for the cooler one! Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol 16%. The aroma is already sweet! It is very fruity, well-balanced and refreshing. As you drink it, you can feel the spiciness. 2 to 3 days later, the sweetness increases↑ Maybe that's why it tastes so good even if it is pungent. ❣️ On the 4th day, the sweetness is reduced, but the fruity and umami flavors are still delicious! I thought it would be a light and refreshing beer, but I was betrayed in a good way 😊. I'm totally hooked on this sweet and tasty fruity with a crisp summer aftertaste 💕. For lunch, we had soba set meal at Kusabue-san by the castle! The walnut rice cake was so delicious! I can eat it even when I'm full 💕.

Purchased at Osawa Sake Brewery along Nakasendo Road The brewery staff (daughter of the president?) The brewery staff (daughter of the president?) was very polite and taught us everything we needed to know. They didn't have any Meikyojosui, but they had a variety of dry sake that tasted great warmed up! We went to Sandesi's because we were walking... It's more refreshing than the previous two and has a nice umami taste! It's called "dry" but it's not that strong. It mellows out as the temperature rises. So the next day, I warmed it up to lukewarm. It has a slight sweetness, and the spiciness gets stronger at the end, but it's still delicious. ❣️ I preferred it warmed up. The current president's great uncle is a painter, and you can see many of his paintings at the museum in the renovated warehouse. There is also a museum where you can see many paintings and other artifacts from the rice offered at the Niiname Festival.
