The Roaches 【A】 兵庫県民
Guided Sake Brewery Tour in Nada-Gogo (3 locations) We went on a guided tour of 3 sake breweries in Nada-Gogo. We tasted several sake breweries, but to be honest, the time spent at each was too short to fully enjoy the aroma and taste, but we enjoyed both free and paid tastings at all breweries. I will note as much as I can remember. Overall, I was uncomfortable with the fact that they always promote one type of fruit wine. I thought that fruit wine is something that should be left up to the bars and users to devise on their own, and that it would be better for long-established sake breweries to truly focus on sake itself. I don't remember the detailed description, but the sake called "Shigome San-no" was the easiest to drink.

Following the recent wine yeast sake made with Cheyenne Muscat yeast, this time it is a junmai sake made with wine yeast! First, pour it into a cup. The color is really bright! It has a strong white wine taste. And the aroma is just like white wine! I don't drink that much wine. but I can clearly tell. In the mouth, it's just like white wine. I don't know if it's because it's junmai sake I don't know if it's because it's a pure rice wine, but it was like a white wine with little acidity. It was a sake that made me realize the difference in the quality of sake due to the difference in yeast 🍶.

I got it at the 12th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower and had it at home with grilled seseri, kinpira lotus root, and bean sprout namul. (I had it at home with grilled seseri, kinpira lotus root, and bean sprouts namul.) I was told that it is recommended to be heated, so I drank it at room temperature and compared the two. When heated, the aroma, acidity, and complex flavors that I didn't notice at room temperature spread in my mouth. It also had a pleasant sweetness that lingered in the mouth after drinking.

☀️ The 12th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower🍶. ⚫︎ Hamafukutsuru CRAFKAN This is a sake for warming up, created by young employees in a serious attempt to create a sake that goes well with warmed sake 🍶♨️ Start with room temperature. ♨️ It is slightly sweet, but has a strong mouthfeel. Next, warmed sake♨️ The strong mouthfeel disappears and it's really refreshing 😳. It goes down your throat easily and flows into your body 😊. When I told the guy at the booth that it would go well with Japanese food like grilled fish 🐟, he gave me a big smile and said "that's exactly what I was thinking 😁" 😆. I'm glad we can agree on the pairing 🥰. ⚫︎ Hamafukutsuru Junmai Daiginjo It won an award🏆 but was completely eclipsed by the heated sake 😓. If only CRAFKAN wasn't here 😇 ⚫︎ Mie no Kanmei Gen. So called fruity taste with decent sweetness and umami 😊. I think it's a standard taste in sake for gold medal 🤔. ⚫︎ Mie-no-Kanbai This one is different, dry. It has a stoic throat 😎. The description says it has been reborn with a mellow taste, but I thought it might not be mellow... 😌 one day at a Japanese sake festival.

I boarded the ferry (🛳️) without any problems, but my former ferry riding blood got the better of me and I explored all over the ship and went under the Akashi Bridge in the open-air bath. 😂 After much deliberation, I chose a dish that I had never had before, Hamafukutsuru. I chose it because it was labeled as dry, but unlike the dry sake I drank today, it was a daiginjo, so it had a certain sweetness to it, which was nice and tasty 😋.

Good morning, Maa-san! I took the Tomakomai ferry from Tsuruga to Tomakomai by Shin Nihonkai Ferry before, and I enjoyed the slow time and the unusual feeling. [I would like to take the Kyushu route of Hankyu Ferry once. ✨️
