Purchased at liquor store
First Brand Name
Tsukitsukatsura is Japan's first sparkling nigori sake brewer.
Surprisingly hard to find at liquor stores in some areas😅.
Cold sake
The silkiest aroma and taste of all the sparkling nigori sake I've had.
It has enough umami and thickness of rice that only nigori sake can have, but the aftertaste is refreshing.
The aftertaste is quite long.
Goes well with meat dishes.
Kyoto Prefecture
Junmai Nakakumi Nigori Sake
Polishing ratio 60
Alcohol 17%.
As soon as the four-pack is opened, it spurts out violently, which is enjoyable in itself.
Although it is nigori sake, it has little sweetness and a strong alcohol taste.
Recommended for those who do not like sweet nigori sake.

The design of the sake is a lively cheering for Tsukitsukatsura to the accompaniment of the Gion Festival music.

HP label excerpts⬆⬆.
I was attracted by the low alcohol content and the label design.
I bought it online 💻(-⊡ω⊡)
The label says "characteristics of the sake
Aromatic" and "Light and refreshing.
Elegant".
Mmmm~( -¯ ∏-) sweet and sour!
The aroma is also gorgeous.
But it's not that sweet even though the sake is -60.
Of course it would be good as a dessert sake.
You can drink it with a meal as well ✨.
Looking at the picture on this label
I feel like ( ◍´艸`◍ )❤︎
This was the first nigori sake I have had since joining Sake-no-wa. I mixed it very slowly, but I had to open and close the cork quite a lot to avoid a blowout. It was not as thick and refreshing as I had expected, and it went well with a variety of tsumami (Japanese rice wine).
You can taste gentle sweetness and gentle spiciness.
If you ask me whether it is sweet or dry, I would say it is dry because the spiciness comes at the end. (I don't know).
Today I served it with yellowtail sashimi and duck roast.
It seems to go well with strong flavored food.
It gently accepts the wasabi on the yellowtail sashimi and the black pepper on the duck roast.
I love the glass sake cups I bought at a glass studio in Azumino, Nagano. You can see a cat when you look at it from above 🐈.
