This is the first time I have had Wakamusume sake.
It is a sake with a very nice name, Juni-Hisai-iro.
I had been curious about Wakamusume since I saw it introduced on social networking sites, but I could not find it. For the same shipping cost, it is more economical to buy two bottles than one.
The base of the flavor is fresh, fruity and sweet. It has the sweetness and umami of rice, but is not heavy, and the acidity helps to give it a clean overall impression. As the label on the back says, "We want this sake to evoke the delicate and elegant Japanese sense of beauty," the taste has a thin and clear impression.
I am not sure if there was a sake with this kind of taste when I was enjoying sake in Niigata about 15 years ago, but I wonder if I would have been shocked if I had encountered it then. Would I have been shocked if I had encountered it back then, or would I have been uninterested in sake other than the light and dry type?
This was one of the things that occurred to me.
In any case, I am thankful that I can enjoy this delicious sake now.

The fourth bottle of light nigori from Wakamusume is the newest Usukazakura 😇.
Not only are all of their wakamusume's wines delicious, but also their labels are gorgeous 🌸.
Until yesterday, it was Hana Tachibana, a combination of Omachi and Yamada Nishiki, which was the first one we had (Kaorin said it was the 12 secret colors of Yamada Nishiki), but after drinking Usuhana-zakura today, Kaorin and I agreed that our family's favorite is this one, Usuhana-zakura Usugori. We have decided to go with this Hu-Hanazakura Usu-Hanazakura Usu-Nigori.
I was a little disappointed that it didn't have the fizziness of the Hana Tachibana, but the juicy fruitiness from the gently spreading mouthfeel and the beautiful sharpness...it was delicious😇!

Pink wakamusume is a word that stimulates my vexation...but this is a black wakamusume.

When the bottle is opened, there is a long gas sound.
When poured into a glass, fine bubbles adhere to the sides.
The color is silvery opaque with floating lees.
The top aroma is mild with a little fresh apple aroma.
On the palate, juiciness and a slight bubbly sensation precede the juices seeping out of the fruit.
In the mouth, the silky rice flavor spreads with a moderate bitterness.
After swallowing, the spread of the fragrance is not strong, but it gives the impression of three-dimensional umami, and the bitterness of the aftertaste gives a sense of fullness.
It does not have the full-blown Oumachi-like character that is often associated with the image of Oumachi, but the slight bubbles give the umami and bitterness a firm outline.
Personally, I like this label because it has a bewitching quality.

We've had a lot of different sake rice so far, but our family seems to like other sake rice better than Yamadanishiki 🤣.
I have an image that it is too sharp, but this Jyunihishiki has a light and clean acidity that I don't feel so much 😇.
I liked Hana Tachibana the best because I could feel the complexity and schwarziness of the same lineage.
