I know this is abrupt, but this will be my last post. I will no longer be posting, following or commenting on any of your posts. I have been in a posting rut for the past year or so, and I feel a sense of entrapment from the fact that I can't post promptly after drinking, and that my unposted messages are piling up. So, I will leave Sake-no-wa and enjoy sake in a more relaxed manner from now on! Thank you very much for your support over the past four years 🙏. Now I'll get down to business. Nice guy Nochi-san hosted a welcome party by volunteers 🥹. Other members are Duke Shibusawa, MAJ, Hiraccio, and Kanon. Thank you very much for your time 😊. The unique sweet and sour aroma of SENKOKU makes me so happy! It's the same on the palate! Sour and sweet ❗️ It's a little less acidic than Sentori, but it's a matured Ramune. Kijoshu made with modern Yamahai sake! It's too good to be true! ❗️ Let's get started! Surprisingly, the aroma is subdued! The taste is like sweet lemon juice. Not too sweet, not too sour, just the right amount of acidity. It is surprising that the unique sourness of the Yamahai process can be transformed into such a modern lemon sourness! And the alcohol content is 12%. If it doesn't go down smoothly, it's a lie. ‼️ It is a very good sake without being a cheering sake! I can't help but thank Yoshida Sake Brewery! I felt like I got a great deal!

I saw a cup of Kikusui at a nearby supermarket and reached for it. According to the "taste chart" on the back of the cup, the aroma, flavor, richness, sharpness, and alcohol content exceeded those of ordinary sake! I wonder which sake they mean by "common sake" 😅. Let's get started! The aroma is not fruity, but sweet and alcoholic at the same time... When you taste it, it has a full-bodied taste similar to that of lactic acid bacteria drinks. However, there is no sourness, and the rice flavor is strongly felt. The aftertaste seems to be long and disappears before you know it. I guess it means it has a sharp taste. I think it's a pretty tasty cup of sake👍.

It's unfortunately cloudy, but I'm heading to Kofu on the Fujikawa Limited Express to ride the Minobu Line! Of course, I have my travel partner ready 👍. After quickly putting away the Shizuoka barley wine, we switch to sake mode! I'll have the sake I secured at Lawson in front of Shimizu station! Garyubai Junmai Ginjo The aroma is fruity with hints of grape and pineapple. However, this changes when you taste the umami. It is not a fruit, but a grain-derived sweet and umami taste. It is also quite tasty. It slowly dies down with a moderate acidity. ❗️ It's a very likable sake!

The second restaurant was Tado, a famous izakaya in Shizuoka that Kazuhiko Ota and Rui Yoshida visited! We ordered the following Haginiki Special Honjozo Minami-Alps (1 gou) for 605 yen! Another Haginiki order! It seems to be a popular popular sake in Shizuoka! This one has a stronger sweet flavor than the original sake from the warehouse! This one tastes more like Asoe! Boiled bamboo shoots - 660 yen! Sea jar - 990 yen! Oden beef tendon 2*2 yen Black hanpen 121 yen It would be an exaggeration to say that all the dishes are exquisite, but they are really delicious. ❗️ This is indeed a famous izakaya with close ties to the local community! The work is done with great care and attention to detail. Especially the simmered bamboo shoots are the best! You can fully enjoy spring just by this 🌸

This is the same bar where Mr. Rui Yoshida went to... We ordered the following Bonito sashimi for 900 yen! Fresh and delicious! Fried black hanpen 520 yen First time to try❗️Hanpen itself is delicious, so there is no need to season it! Crispy and chewy🙆 And the sake to go with it! Haginishiki Kuradashi Harazake (Honjozo) 570 yen (1 gou) Even though it is alky sake, it has a refreshing and light rum-like taste! It somehow resembles Gakki! This is a happy encounter!

I finished work 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, so my partner, Mr. S, who was flying back to Tokyo, and I went to Miyoshino, a famous Shizuoka oden restaurant in Aoba Oden Street, on the condition that we had only 30 minutes to eat there! Each oden dish is huge ❗️ Of course, I also had a glass of sake recommended by the owner! You set your glass on the saucer and pour your own sake from the bottle until you are told to "stop"! There was at least 2 gou of sake! The sake has a fruity ama aroma, but it's very dry, and it takes the strong taste of oden and makes it go down easy👍.

This sake was created by making effective use of out-of-spec rice, in other words, out-of-spec rice that is produced in the sake brewing process. I had already had Jyushidai, so I asked the store owner, who seemed to know a lot about sake, what kind of sake could compete with it, and he recommended this one! It's been a long time since I had a Gozenshu! So let's get started! The aroma is like melon! On the palate... Fresh, juicy, and mellow flavor perfectly balanced! A capricious idol and a veteran actor with a dignified appearance and deep acting ability.... This sake had a wonderful taste that reminded me of such duality. ❗️

The first meeting was an all-you-can-drink event, and the only drinks available were from a certain major company, so we had to put up with beer and shochu. And then the after-party! Ehime, a brilliant girl who used to work at the Kyushu office, took the initiative to find a restaurant for us. She offered us a special menu, and when we looked through it, to our surprise, we found a bottle of Jyushidai. ❗️ Junmai Ginjo Ryu no Bastard 🙌! But even if it's a good deal, it's still 2,000 yen per sake... I hesitate, don't you? But the guys at headquarters are so bubbly! "Why don't we just share that with everyone and order ❗️?" Crikey! Well, let's get back on track and enjoy 🥂. The elegant and discreet aroma of white grapes attracted me and I sipped it. The sweetness and acidity of the wine is also understated and expands with a sizzle. I can't get enough of it! Sorry but my memory seems to be fading so let me post first I'm opening another bottle of Wada Ryu because I've manached it! I just stocked up 🤣 Shinshu Kamerei Yamadanishiki Junmai Ginjo from Kasai City, Hyogo Prefecture The aroma is mellow and fruity, reminiscent of muscat! The mouthfeel is also mellow and fruity. The sweet and juicy taste spreads on the palate, and as you enjoy it, the bitterness catches up with you. This is a familiar pattern, but because of this time difference, you can enjoy the sweetness, bitterness, and lingering aftertaste. It's really delicious. ❗️

Sorry but my memory seems to be fading so let me post first Back to the hotel for more drinks Wadaryu Tosui Junmai Hitogokochi Nama Sake Back to the hotel for another drink! Let's start with this one! In Ueda, we went to Okazaki Sake Brewery and Jizakeya Miyajima, but the last one we visited was Wadaryu Sake Brewery! Actually, my wife participated in an event held last year! We met the Wadaryu Brewery at that time! We have kept in touch from time to time since then, and although our visit was unannounced, we were made to feel very welcome! They gave us a special tour of their production process. He even gave us a souvenir! We are really grateful to them. ❗️ I should have taken it home, but I couldn't resist and opened the bottle 😝. It is brewed with Hitogokochi sake rice grown under contract in the Yaebaru area of Tomi City! The aroma is grain-derived umami! I remember waking up in the middle of the night from the violent shaking and trying to hold the TV and other devices so that they would not fall over. I couldn't find any Kumamoto sake here in Saitama because it was so early in the day, so I will drink a toast with sake that is closely related to Kumamoto, just like last year. Morinokuma-san ORIGARUMI Myouen Kumamoto Castle Reconstruction Prayer Sake 2023 Thank you for your continued support this year, Fuji Sake Brewery! Let's start right away! The aroma is Pinappo🍍🍍🍍🍍. Not fully ripe, but fresh Pinappo🍍🍍🍍! The bubbles are sticking to the rim of the wine vessel and it's very healthy to see! Fresh Pinappo 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍 is also very healthy on the palate.
