Raw material rice: Yamadanishiki produced in Kumamoto Alcohol content 13 Ichinomiya Shrine & Local Sake Tour Vol. 34 Higonokuni Ichinomiya Shrine From now on, I will be posting only about shrines. We also went to Aso! It was summer, so it was perfect for a drive 🚗. The Aso shrine was severely damaged by the earthquake once, but it was rebuilt and the colors of the cypress trees were beautiful ✨. The Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine also had a great atmosphere! I really wanted to buy some flower incense, but I bought too much in Saga, so this time I went with a substitute sundo 😭. A bit pricey, but still juicy and easy to drink ✌ I think it's more refreshing than the last time I drank it...? Anyway, it's still easy to drink. I'll be back next time I'm in Kyushu 🔥. Thank you very much for your hospitality 🙏🙏.

Rice: Yamadanishiki, Saga no Hana Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol content 16 Ichinomiya Shrine & Local Sake Tour Vol. 33 Hizen-no-kuni Ichinomiya Yohinomikami Shrine We stopped by on the way to Ureshino Onsen. It is said that the goddess is enshrined as the god of water and is believed to bring blessings for family safety and traffic safety. We bought a bottle of Iwanokura at a liquor store near the prefectural government office. It is a Kyushu-only distribution of Tenzan Shuzo, the company that makes Shichida. It has a subtle sweet aroma and a sweetness that is somewhere between ricey and fruity, and when I drank it, I felt it had a balanced taste. I had it with some nori tsukudani (seaweed boiled down in soy sauce) that I bought at the local JF and felt the Saga flavor. Thank you very much for the food 🙏!

Raw material rice Akita Sake Komachi Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol content 17 The third bottle is Shuyooshi's Kyoichi It was purchased on a trip to Akita: ✈️ It has a freshness characteristic of nama-shu and is easy to drink: 🙆‍♀️ It tastes like ramune with just the right amount of bitterness. However, the alcohol content is a little high, and I was getting drunk faster after drinking it! I think I fell asleep after a while after drinking this lol I had it with iburi gakko! Thank you very much for the meal 🎶.

Rice: Kame-no-o produced in Tochigi Polishing ratio: 90% or more Alcohol percentage: 13% (Unpasteurized) The second bottle is a Kijo sake from Sengoku. This is the first time for me to drink the black label. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I remember that I enjoyed it very much because of its smooth sweetness and low alcohol content... However, compared to other kijo-zake I've had, it tasted less sweet and sour. Thank you for the treat 🙏.

Ingredient rice: Miyamanishiki Alcohol content 13 A bottle opened when my friend came over. I brewed Koeihiku because it was popular among my friends. It was easy to drink, with a smooth taste and moderate alcohol content. I was told it had a strawberry-like sweetness, but it was more like a banana-like sweetness 🍓▶︎🍌. I'm going to stock up on it because I have plans to have a drink at home with friends again! Thank you!

Raw material rice Yamadanishiki Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol content 16 The second bottle is Nabeshima! This is one that I haven't been able to buy much for some reason 🤔. Maybe it was because it had been open for a while, but I got the impression that it was mildly sweet and balanced rather than juicy. Still, it was refreshing and easy to drink! I had it with sashimi octopus! Thank you very much for the meal 🎶!

Raw material rice Yamadanishiki Rice polishing ratio 38 Alcohol content 15 Sake Degree +1 Acidity 1.5 We stayed at Ureshino Onsen at the time of my previous post: ♨️ Ordered Ureshino's local sake at an izakaya The waitress explained that Saga's sake is not dry and recommended Toranoji because it is fresh and easy to drink! It had a slight sweetness from the rice, and was a bit reserved, but it was easy to drink and tasted great! This izakaya specializes in ribs on the bone, so I was counting on that. It was delicious!

Raw material rice Yamadanishiki Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol content 15 I went on an overnight trip during the Obon holidays to my wife's parents' house. I bought a bottle at that time. I hadn't had it for a long time. I wondered if it was sold here, but I bought it on impulse! It tastes like a refreshing sweet and sour fruit 🍎🍓. I was very surprised at how much I liked it! When I drank it before, I had the impression that it was not this fruity! It was delicious! Thank you for the treat 😋😋.

Hmmm... 🤔🤔 It's still delicious! 🤤. Juicy and easy to drink as always! The entrée is Gifu, but we had it with Meiho ham: ❣️ Thanks for the food 😊.

Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 15 We had Tenbi at an izakaya in Takatsuki. It was the first time for me to drink spicy Tenbi 🌶. It's a sharp contrast to the white and black labels, and is very spicy! I imagined it to be slightly fruity, so I was surprised 🫢. I read online that it had a white grape taste, but I didn't feel it 💦. But I enjoyed it with fried food! Thank you!

Here is another bottle we got at Fushimi Sake Brewery Alley. I had never heard of "kanuki" before 😊. The taste is full-bodied, sweet and profoundly dry! I felt it was the strongest type of dryness I have had recently! We were able to buy entrées from many different restaurants, so I think we had some gyoza and other food 🥟. Thank you for the food!

I had some at Fushimi Sake Brewery Alley. It was about 6 months ago, so I have a hazy memory, but I had a few drinks and I'm posting them 🫡. I had a bottle of Eikun's Ichigin! It had a rich sweetness and a good dryness, just like a Japanese sake! It was just like a Japanese sake! We had yakitori with our entrée! Thank you very much!

Raw material rice: Yukisayaka produced in Chonai-cho, Hokkaido Polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 16 When I went back to my parents' house, I was allowed to drink it! The rice farmer and Akita's Dewazuru Sake Brewery teamed up to make this sake using a new variety of rice. It has a strong dry taste with a lingering bitter aftertaste, which seems to go well with richly seasoned dishes. At first I didn't think I could taste much sweetness from the rice, but once the bitterness went away, I could taste the gentle sweetness of the rice 😊. Thank you for the meal!

Another bottle purchased on a trip to Gero Onsen (Gero Hot Springs). It's been a while since I've wanted to buy a bottle of Tenryo, so I chose Tenryo: ✨️ It has a crisp, dry taste, but also has the sweetness that is typical of sake. I didn't feel much acidity, but I thought it was suitable as a food sake. I think it would be better in summer if it were as refreshing as this! Thank you for a great meal!

Ingredient rice: Hidahomare, Yamadanishiki Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol content 16 Sake degree +3.0 Acidity 1.4 Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour Vol. 32 I went to Gero Onsen (Gero Hot Springs) during my summer vacation 🚗³₃. Spending time in temperatures close to 40℃ made me envy the cool river water. ☺️ Hida-no-kuni Ichinomiya Minashi Shrine The shrine has been called "Suimu-san" for a long time and is believed to bring blessings for childbirth, safe delivery, and traffic safety. I was greedy and asked for all of them 🙏. I bought a bottle of Hourai at a liquor store near Gero Onsen! It was my first Hourai, but it was easy to drink with a refreshing sweetness of rice and a good dry taste. It was the first time for me to drink Hourai, but it is easy to drink with a refreshing sweetness of rice and a moderate dryness . The miso with hoba (Japanese bean curd) is also delicious! Raw material rice: Yamadanishiki produced in Nara Prefecture Polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 15 I realized I forgot to take a picture after I finished it, so it will be an empty bottle. 🙇‍♂️ Shinomine-norokumaru! My wife knew this brand because she watched a sake drama (Araubashiri?). I watched the drama (Araubashiri?) so my wife knew this brand! It has both sweet and sour taste and mellow sweetness! It also had a bubbly taste, so it was right up my alley. Also, the taste was refreshing and perfect for summer 🏖 I drank it all very quickly! I usually lose weight in the summer but this year I haven't lost any weight at all😭I need to get serious about exercising... Thank you for the food 🙏.

Ingredient rice: Hokusae produced in Hokkaido Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 18 Test brewed sake, unfiltered, raw and unpasteurized A gift from parents who went to Hokkaido (how many times do you go there?) (No, how many times do you go there?) Although it is an unfiltered, unfiltered, undiluted sake, it doesn't have that much freshness, and the palate is initially sweet from the rice, but the aftertaste is heavy, bitter, and dry. The alcohol content is a little high, but I didn't feel it to be that harsh. The taste is perfect when paired with strong dishes. I paired it with grilled chicken with miso! Thank you very much!
