Another bottle given to me by my parents ✨
This is a special junmai dry sake from Kamikawa Daisetsu!
It seems to be a summer-only sake as it is said to be made with Kitashizuku!
It is dry, but the first mouthfeel is very refreshing!
The spiciness leaves your mouth early, and the bitterness and sweetness combine to make it easy to drink 🎶.
I had the impression that the spiciness was moderate when it comes to white grape, and the sweetness was strong when it comes to soda water 🥰.
It's definitely refreshing and would be good for summer, thanks for the treat 🙏.

The other sake I got was Rokuyu by Haneda Shuzo.
I saw it at Takashimaya before but didn't buy it, and it's been a while since then 🥹՞.
This one had a slightly strong dry taste, followed by a sweetness that spread on the palate.
Not so much fruity? Instead, I could taste the elegant sweetness and felt it was Junmai Daiginjo 😋.
Thank you very much!
Hi Ofuji-san!
I often go drinking in Kyoto, but "Rokuyu" is a brand I've never seen before 😲.
And "Aogiya", I checked the food log and it is a very drunken restaurant 😁.
I'll try it next time I go drinking in Kyoto ✨.
Hi Jive, ☀️
Rokuyu used to be sold at Daimaru and other places 💦 I don't know about now.
I see you were in Omiya the other day too!
There are a lot of good stores there too ✨

This time we visited Saiin and drank it!
I've had Sawaya Matsumoto a few times, but this is my first Junmai ✨.
It has a dry taste, but the alcohol content is not high, so it is easy to drink! Even though it's dry, it's on par or a little subdued, so it went well with tofu dishes!
I had mistakenly thought it was lemony when I heard it was from Sawaya Matsumoto, but it was delicious!
Thank you for the drink!
Good evening, Mr. Ofuji.
You came to Saiin, didn't you? I'm sure you are 🍁, right?
It's about 5 minutes from my house 😁.
Yudofu with Kyoto sake👌
I've never had Sawaya Matsumoto 🍋.
Is that the restaurant next to the barbecue restaurant? I found it a while ago too 👀😊.
Hi Ao, ☀️
I was in Seiin for work.
It's a petit year-end party ✌😚.
Yes, it is! The tofu and chicken were both delicious!
Please try some Sawaya Matsumoto 😊.

A bottle bartered with my parents' father.
He said he went to Hokkaido in autumn. What about my crab? I asked him, of course he didn't have any 🦀.
Aside from 🦀, this sake here is Goshiki Saiun (Goshikinokumo) jiri by Fukushi Shuzo!
They only wholesale to Hokkaido and Kanto, so this is a first for me🎶.
Not only is it low-alcoholic as stated, but it's also very easy to drink with just the right amount of sweetness and acidity😊.
The taste is very moderate so it would go well with light food... so I had it with hanpen~!
Thank you for the treat 🙏.
Good evening, Ofuji. Nice to meet you too, and nice to meet you sake! It would be perfect if I could get a 🦀, but I'm glad we could exchange sake, which you don't find in Kansai 😊.
Hi Hirupeko, ☀️
I would be happy if I could find one of my favorite and not distributed in Kansai 🥰.
I was so frustrated with the crab that I asked for it in my hometown! I'm looking forward to the end of the year 🦀.

A bottle brought to the inn.
Since it was in Nara, I brought a bottle of Kaze no Mori from my house.
It has a light but gorgeous aroma and a sweet and sour fruity taste that I can't get enough of 🤤.
The gasiness is also a nice touch.
And most importantly, it's easy to find and reasonably priced~!
This is the first bottle I will recommend to my friends who have never had sake before!
I'm going to get myself hooked on this one 😏.
Thank you for the sake 🙏🙏🙏

Another bottle we got at Yoshino Onsen Motoyu: ✨️
It is said to be a sake produced by the proprietresses of Nara 🥃.
It is said to be made from a rare dewy leaf wind grown in the prefecture, which originally almost ceased to be cultivated around 1990 🫢.
The taste is refreshing and dry, changing to a dry aftertaste.
Dinner was a sukiyaki-style duck hot pot, so this one went well as a dish: ✨️
Next time I would like to visit during the cherry blossom season in Yoshino🌸.
Thank you for the food 😋.
Good evening, Ofuji-san 🦉.
It's from the brewery of Toyoshuku, isn't it? The proprietresses made a sake that goes well with the dishes 😊It's nice to have a sake that is unique to the inn and can only be drunk there 😌.
Good evening, Ponchan 🌛.
Yes, I've never had Toyoshuku! I've never had a drink at Toyoshu, but 🥹՞I heard that the sake is served at some of the nearby inns, and I think they've probably devised a dish to go with the sake 🎶.

I want to stay at least once in every prefecture!
That's why I was on a trip to Nara~!
That was last month lol
Near Kinpusenji Temple? I got a bottle at Yoshino Onsen Motoyu near Kinpusenji Temple.
It was my first time to drink Yatagarasu, and although it is 70% alcohol, it has a low alcohol content and a refreshing taste.
Thank you very much for the drink!
Good evening, Mr. Ofuji 😃.
We too would like to take our time to visit all over Japan 🗾 when we get settled down with our work 🤗Tasting local sake with local snacks...just imagine how much fun it would be ☺️
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌛.
I'm still trying to get settled at work, but I'm still trying to conquer the whole country ☺️
It's nice to eat local specialties ✨.
Good evening, Ponchan 🌛.
I dared to stay overnight this time because it's too close to the city to make a day trip 😊.
Yoshino was great - it seems to be very crowded during the cherry blossom season!

It's so cold today!
Where is the warm weather we were talking about until last week?
Here is a bottle I bought when I went to Asago area!
Takezumi Takezumi Nigori Sake (nigori) by Tajime.
It is a sake made from edible rice and has a smooth and rich taste!
The taste is rich and full of flavor! It is indeed full of umami and you can really taste the rice flavor!
The alcohol content is on par with other sake, but the bitterness is quite pronounced, so don't go crazy with it 💦.
It was a little easier to drink when served lukewarm instead of cold.
In my opinion, it was a little difficult to drink. 🙇♂️
bouken Hello ☀️
It was difficult to drink it all, so I had to change the entrée and experiment: ✨️
I bought it on the spot because I couldn't taste it 💦.

Ingredient Rice: Akitsu Yamadanishiki

It's been a long time since I posted this!
I'm digging up my memories of that time with the sake memo of that time.
I opened a bottle of "I just want to drink it", which I bought at Suminosan, at a house party with my friends!
It is a collaboration with the Space Brothers and is made from the famous Akitsu Yamadanishiki, and has an alcohol content of 11%🫢!
It was easy to drink with its low alcohol content while still having a strong sense of Nichinichi's gas, and when the gasiness faded, it had a fruity sweetness and a slight sourness.
Usually I feel lemon, but this one is closer to peach 🍑.
It was very tasty and a hit!
The price point of the drink was a little high, though it was in the cheap price range to begin with💦.
Thank you very much for the drink 😋.

We received another bottle from Yakitorikura
Mimuro Sugi's Wooden Oke Bodai Moto
I had never tried this series because it is very expensive, but they offered it to me for my birthday...!
The wooden vat is made of Yoshinosugi cedar from Nara prefecture!
Just the way I like it 😳💗.
The sweet and sour taste is easy to drink without much alcohol, but the woodiness and sweetness of the wooden vat become stronger in the latter half of the bottle.
Shinshu Kamerei is also easy to drink, but this one is so easy to drink that you might go for it even more!
Even the wife found it easy to drink and it was a hit 🎶.
I would like to use this place again for special occasions!
Thank you for the food 😋.
It's been a while 🙇🏻♀️՞
I visited Yakitorikura again near my birthday!
It's a small and cozy restaurant with a friendly owner who makes you feel at home!
Whenever I come here, I always have a glass of Shinshu Kamerei!
The last time I was here, the owner said the same thing: "It's clear, sharp, and apple-like..."!
Since it was the last bottle, it was a little spicier and sweeter than the last time, which gave me a different impression!
The kombujime of the white meat here is delicious 😋!
Thank you very much for the food 🙏🙏🙏.
Hello Ponchan ✨
Sorry I'm late 🙇♀️
You don't have to be a regular here to be served something like Shinshu Kamerei 🎶 and I got addicted to it ✨️
If you eat a course meal, it's served slowly, so you'll be hungry lol.

Happy Birthday to me! 🎂
I went to Sumino for this day!
I usually choose alcohol that I can't afford to buy, but this time I just bought alcohol that I wanted to drink 🤤.
Koueikiku's Tsukikage🌙.
I haven't had much Kame-no-o sake, but the taste is...delicious!
The refreshing sweetness is sweet and sour, with a delicious balance of just the right amount of bitterness, it has a sweetness and bitterness like orange peel ✨️
It's low in alcohol, so I drank a lot of it!
Thank you for the treat 🙏.
Good morning, Ofuji-san.
Happy Birthday 🎉.
Celebration sake with sake that you just want to drink - that's also the best tipple ⤴️
Koei Kiku - I had it for the first time this year and it's delicious 😊.
Keep up the good sake life!
Hi Ofuji! I'm so happy to see you 😀 .
Happy Birthday! 🎉🎉🎉
Koei Chrysanthemum is a very appropriate sake for a happy day! 👍👍
The sake you want to drink is the best sake! 😁😁
ma-ki - good evening 🌛.
I turned 31 years old! I will continue to improve my experience!
The best Koueikiku I've ever had was a different order, but it's still delicious too: ✨️
Good evening, Mr. Kumagai 🌛.
Thank you for your comment!
I thought it would be a good omen in terms of name, so I went with this one 🤔.
The series is still going on as much as I want to drink - lol!
Good evening Maru🌕.
It's easy to drink this kind of low alcohol with just the right balance of sweetness and bitterness!
I will make it a year of drunkenness! I like that phrase lol.

Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour No. 28
I was back in Maizuru, my hometown.
I went to Miyazu on that trip.
Tango-no-kuni Ichinomiya Motoisekago
It is said that Amaterasu, the deity of Ise-san, temporarily resided here in the past.
There were quite a few foreigners here and there, maybe for the boathouse in Ine?
I bought a bottle of Manai by Hakurei Sake Brewery!
It was labeled as "Manai" on the website!
On the first day of opening the bottle, there is no gasiness, but there is a refreshing and bitter taste, with a banana-like sweetness in the second half 🍌.
You can taste the dryness in the aftertaste 🥃.
As the day goes by, the freshness settles down, the sweetness becomes more rice-like, and the dryness increases, giving it a different taste.
Personally, I prefer the "vivid" sake I had a long time ago!
My wife was very happy with the bara-zushi we bought over there 😋.

I brought Asahitaka ✨️ that I could buy in Yamagata!
I packed a cooler box and coolant...it was so hot lol!
It's not as fruity as this winter's, but it's easy to drink with a combination of gorgeousness and freshness 🎶I also had it lukewarm, which is also delicious, with a soft sweetness spreading through it!
I was wondering if it was getting old in the heat... but I'm glad I was able to enjoy it. ☺️
We were allowed to take the leftovers home for the wife 🙇🏻♀️🙏
We enjoyed your drinks as well! I will slowly post the others 😊.
Thank you for the food and drink!
P.S.
We also went to the nearby Otori Shrine as part of our Ichinomiya tour!
Good evening, Ofuji 😀
Thank you very much for your help the other day 😀
It was my first time drinking Asahitaka and it was a very nice sake😇.
If a sake like this was on the sake diploma exam, I would definitely fail because I wouldn't know it was a honjozo 🤣.
Good evening, Mr. Yasbay 🌛.

A bottle that I redeemed points at Kadoya before I moved.
We had our first Tobiroki at home: ❣️
A very well-balanced bottle!
It's not the fruity, acidic, bitter one you'd expect... but it's all very elegant.
I can see why everyone is buying it ✨
I can't drink it so readily because it's not as easy to buy as the other ones, but if I could buy it again, I would definitely buy it!
It's been a while since I've had fried tofu with toast and crispy toast as a side dish!
Thank you for the treat 🙏.
Hello, Ofuji-san 🐦.
I see you are near Kadoya-san! I'm so jealous 😊I also drink HIROKI pure silver at home😻
I drink it once a year, so I wonder when it will accumulate 😂.
Ponchan, good evening 🌛.

I wonder if it will be hot in October as well...
This time I opened a bottle of my most exciting sake!
Houraizumi Sora no Nama Nama Sake ☁️🫧
I opened it as a thank you for the hawk's eye my friend gave me~!
It's been a while since I've had a Junmai Daiginjo, so the aroma is gorgeous and colorful!
It has a well-balanced impression with a sweetness between the fruitiness of the rice.
The alcohol content is 16%, but it doesn't feel too alcoholic, it's easy to drink 🎶.
It's nice to buy something priced like this once in a while!
I had it with a caprese I made at random.
It is refreshing and goes well with summer without interfering with the taste of alcohol!
Thank you for the treat 🙏.
Hi Ofuji 🐦.
I was just looking at the nice story of you and your friend giving each other good sake 😊I see that the taste is worth the price ✨.

This is a retrospective post 🎶.
I received a bottle of Kabutomushi by Sentori!
I believe I bought it at Kadoya before I moved here!
This is actually my first Kabutomushi ✨️
As usual, Sengoku's sake is low in alcohol and easy to drink, and I can easily recommend it to my friends!
Although they use Yamadanishiki, you don't feel the sense of rice in a good way, and it's almost like a sour with a nice bitterness and gasiness.
I heard that it is a lemon sour for adults, but personally I think it is more like a cider because it has a moderate sweetness to it 🍋.
The price is also very kind to my wallet!
Thank you very much for the food 😋😋.
Hi Ofuji 😃
Congratulations on your first Kabutobushi 🌈🎉.
It's easy on the wallet and easy to drink😊thanks for the bottle so I can recommend it to everyone 🤗.
Hello Jay & Nobby ✨
Thank you so much, I've been looking for a modern type for a while now! It's one of the easiest to get and I often promote it to my friends: ✌️ because many of my friends around me like the modern type too~!
Next time I'm getting a red dragonfly: ❤️🔥

Another friend of ours at the cottage brought this to us 😊.
He bought it on a business trip to Fukuoka: ✨️
He said it is shipped in limited quantities, and he is a sucker for limited editions!
The rice polishing ratio is 35%.
We had it with roasted heshiko and dried fish at a BBQ.
It has a mellow sweet aroma and a slightly juicy taste, but the sweetness of the rice and the dry taste come immediately!
Maybe the rice flavor was more pronounced because we drank a Takanome just before!
As a food sake, it would have been better with a strong flavored dish, but it is also delicious on its own.
Thank you for the meal 🙏🙏🙏.
Ingredient rice: Yamadanishiki produced in Yamaguchi prefecture

We had a BBQ at a cottage with friends last week!
If it had been this week, we probably would have cancelled it 🌀
My friend brought a bottle of sake!
It's a high-end sake jointly developed by TAKANOME and Hatsumomiji, so the price is very expensive!
It is priced at a ton with Hakumitsu, which I drank in my early days 🫢.
I kept it chilled in the fridge at the cottage!
Anyway, it's an easy-drinking bottle, and I would recommend it to those who are not familiar with sake for its taste (regardless of the price): ✨️
It has a fruity taste like peach and pineapple with a gentle acidity and sweetness 🍍.
The fruity flavor remains even when the temperature is lowered, but you can feel the acidity more when it is tightly chilled.
Thank you for always giving me the opportunity to serve you 😭
But I didn't serve such an expensive sake lol
Thank you for the food 😋😋😋😋😋.
Hi Ofuji 😊 wow 😳
I always thought "I can't afford it 🥲" even though I see it all the time on Instagram, like hawk-eye.
The BBQ at the cottage is so chalet 😎.
Hi Maru, ☀️
I too had only seen this drink on social media!
It was easy to drink - I was tasting it like I couldn't drink anymore!

Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour Vol. 26
We also went on a trip to Nagano during the Bon Festival 🚗.
Shinano-kuni Ichinomiya Suwa-taisha Shrine
Suwa-taisha is a Shinto shrine built in the Suwa Mountains, and three of the four shrines do not have main shrines.
The powerful sacred pillars and komainu (guardian dogs) are also a must-see!
You can also visit the four shrines and immerse yourself in the history of each one. ✌️
The water at the Kamisha Mae-miya shrine was especially pleasant!
I got a bottle of Honkin no Suwa by Sake Nunoya Honkin Sake Brewery.
I saw it at the Hata Sake Shop, but was not able to purchase it after all!
The subtle scent of ginjo aroma is more subdued than the last one I had before dawn!
The taste is juicy at first with moderate acidity and elegant sweetness, like melon or banana!
The sweetness then quickly fades away, leaving a lingering dryness and sweetness of rice that is typical of sake.
It was a pleasant 28 degrees Celsius at Lake Suwa!
The owner said it was very hot... 😊.
When I go shopping in Ibaraki again, I will buy other kinds of sake 🎶.
Good evening, Ofuji-san 🦉.
You went to Suwa-taisha ✨I haven't been to both of the upper shrines 💦I see you have great water 😳.
I also want to go to Hata-san and drink this and Yamae-nishiki 🎶.
Hello, Ponchan!
Sorry for the late reply: 🙇♂️
It was amazing fun to visit all of them🎶The air and water were so clean and pleasant😍.
I want to go to Ibaraki again too, but I have to stock up on alcohol 😍 lol
