Today is a full 8 years since the Kumamoto earthquake occurred.
I remember waking up in the middle of the night from the violent shaking and trying to hold the TV and other devices so that they would not fall over.
I couldn't find any Kumamoto sake here in Saitama because it was so early in the day, so I will drink a toast with sake that is closely related to Kumamoto, just like last year.
Morinokuma-san ORIGARUMI Myouen Kumamoto Castle Reconstruction Prayer Sake 2023
Thank you for your continued support this year, Fuji Sake Brewery!
Let's start right away!
The aroma is Pinappo🍍🍍🍍🍍.
Not fully ripe, but fresh Pinappo🍍🍍🍍!
The bubbles are sticking to the rim of the wine vessel and it's very healthy to see!
Fresh Pinappo 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍 is also very healthy on the palate.
The pizzazz and sweet bitterness spreads all at once.
The strongest of all is the bitterness.
The bitterness with a youthful freshness is unique.
Stir the beer to make sure there is no change in taste.
A slight cloudiness suggests the presence of lees.
The umami taste has emerged.
The lees has become a bridge in a good sense, and the overall taste has become mellow.
Even though the wine is still on the lees, the presence of the lees is very noticeable when the wine is stirred.
We can expect to see more flavor changes in the future. ❗️

Good morning, Chichi. It's been 8 years early as I saw on the news.
I remember my university friends working hard for reconstruction as technical staff of Kumamoto prefecture and city.
I didn't know they were doing this kind of effort in Eiko Fuji.

Good evening, Aladdin🌇.
Yes it was a long but short 8 years, but it will take almost 30 more years until the castle is fully restored!
I wonder if I'll still be alive 😅

Good evening, T.KISO🌇.
It is wonderful to see the attitude of sake breweries.
It is a good thing that popular sake breweries like Shinmasa and Senkyoku are taking the initiative to support the recovery 👍.

Comrade Manachy, good evening 🌆.
It's really true, isn't it?
I want to drink in peace in a peaceful world without war and earthquake, but I guess that's not going to happen 😅...

Good evening, Haruei Chichi 😀
I have many fond memories of Kumamoto where I spent my school days, especially Kumamoto castle 🤣.

Good evening, Yasube-san 🌇.
Did you live in Kumamoto❓
After all, Kumamoto Castle is the symbol of the city.
I can't help but wish for its complete restoration, even if it takes a long time. ‼️

Good evening, Mr. Chichi, my best friend forever.
From the earthquake in Kumamoto,
8 years already?
Still 8 years?
There is no sake from Kumamoto around me either, and although I saw Morinokuma-san in Kuboyama-san's shipment information, I couldn't go out to buy it 🥲.
