I went to the supermarket because I wanted a drink for the evening to drink while watching the opening game of the Premier League. I bought a bottle of Kihei's Omachi, a sake made by the Shizuoka brewery, expecting to like it as much as I liked the gorgeous Omachi. It was not what I had imagined, it was more like a classic Shizuoka sake. It is very light and dry.

This year, the rice used for the sake has been replaced by 2038 Honorific Fuji, and the label has been redesigned. When you drink it, there is a distinct sweetness at first, but the bitterness comes later and disappears. It has a sweet taste, but it is dry. Since it is dry with a clean aftertaste, it went well with Hamamatsu dumplings (🥟). I think I like this kind of sake lately. By the way, recently chilled dumplings are easy to cook and delicious. They are surprisingly inexpensive.

Today I bought a bottle of Shizuoka sake. I saw it in the souvenir shop and bought it on a hunch, but it was a winner. I like dry sake, but it is not sweet enough for me. There are many delicious sakes in Shizuoka, I am happy and happy.

The aroma is fruity and apple-like 😊The taste is soft and sweet in the mouth, with a very good balance 😙The aftertaste is soft and bitter to the end 😇This is a delicious sake that is easy to pair with meals 🥳👍. The fourth one is that I went to eat at Gohan-ya Sakura in Yui because the cherry shrimp fishing season opened over the weekend 🥰There was a 1.5 hour wait for in-store dining, but a 10 minute wait for takeout 🤩The seafood bowl was as good as the white shrimp from Toyama 😋.

Kihei Kawazu Sakura Yeast Brewing Kawazu cherry blossoms have finally bloomed✨ I looked at the line during my lunch break at work. My wife asked me if I wanted to go see the cherry blossoms at night. I was so excited. I took a quick shot along the river in Kawazu on my way home from work. The sake we drank that day was Kawazu Sakura yeast brewed sake: ✌️ It was not in the fridge, so I drank it cold. The aroma is sweet and sour. Subdued yet subtle sweetness. Clean and moderate acidity. Bitter aftertaste. It was kept in the refrigerator while we went to see the cherry blossoms at night. Though it is not well chilled, I think it would be better if it were chilled like the label on the back of the bottle. It's like a white wine, so it tastes ✨

I purchased a 300 ml bottle for 550 yen, but if the price of a 720 ml bottle were more than twice as much, it would probably be a much more cost-effective option. I would like to try other sake from this brewer.

The sake itself is clear and colorless. First impression is an aroma of tree branches. It is a bit smoky on the palate. It is said that the sake is harmonized with the acidity by leaving a little more glucose (glucose) in the sake. The taste gives the impression of gentle sweetness and strong acidity. The aftertaste is crisp. It seems to go well with meat rather than fish, cheese, cured ham, and Italian food. If you want to pair it with fish, maybe with carpaccio or ceviche...? It is more suitable for light dishes with acidity than meuniere. I read that it tastes like wine, but it tastes more like lactic acid than wine (or is that my imagination?). Today was a welcome party at work with my colleagues. Yasudaya Honten, a buckwheat noodle restaurant that we used at the end of the year and enjoyed. We drank a Kihei from Shizuoka 😆. But somehow, the registration of Sake-no-Wawa brands are all over the place and the most common is only 8 check-ins.... It's delicious though. Soft taste, elegant sweetness. It has a sharp taste.

Hello Eirin😃 The Yurukan pond is famous ^ ^ ^ it's from Fuji Nishiki Brewery, a male brewery in the eastern part of Japan. Kihei is an interesting brewery that moved from Shizuoka to Okayama a long time ago, but recently came back to Shizuoka where it originated.
