I was with my former juniors who had worked together in China. We made a reservation for Shinsei, but the price was 3,400 yen per glass, so we decided not to order it because we are not good drinkers and our junior colleagues are not good drinkers. By the way, about half of my male friends are a "downer" 🤣. Let's talk about a quiet topic. I ordered this one, hoping to find something I liked at a relatively reasonable price. It is a stable, rich, sweet and delicious. Fresh muscat juice only new sake can make. Although it is not from Jay & Nobby, I like Tochigi sake because of its careful taste 😆. I wanted to ask for the next one, but I didn't due to the above reasons 😂. The after party was also at Hoshino Coffee Shop...

Good evening, Pon. It's really a waste for those who can't drink alcohol! I thought it was delicious 😆. Earth is too expensive, isn't it? However, my younger colleague who can hardly drink knew about Shinsei, so I can see how popular it is 😊.

Happy New Year ⛩. We look forward to working with you again this year. This is the first cup of this year's Toyonou Ume (Japanese apricot) while eating healthy ozoni made by my husband, a gentler drinker. The Kochi sake brewery we met yesterday, sold near a soba noodle shop. Yesterday's Kinzo was space deep sea yeast, this is Kochi yeast. It is a rich sweetness, the raw sake. Simple sweetness. It is a little bit like Hanayo. My husband, who is not a drinker, said that yesterday's Uchu Shinkai Yeast was better than the Kochi Yeast because it did not have an alty taste. This is a bit off topic, but my husband has been obsessed with canned mackerel lately, and I guess the soup stock for zoni is also made from canned mackerel 🤣. I will continue to drink at my own pace this year. Thank you for your support 🎍.

The last sake of 2023, at a soba and sake restaurant in Kochi. This one didn't seem to be registered with Sake Wawa. Space deep sea yeast ⁉️😂 Below is a quote ↓. This is a new sake brewed with the new Kochi sake rice "Tosa Rei" (Tosa Urara) and brewed with the much talked about deep sea yeast. It is brewed with the world's first deep sea yeast that has been brewed from 400 km above the earth to a depth of 6200 m in the deep sea. This sake has a refreshing aroma, soft rice flavor, and firm acidity. Refreshing sweetness of banana and green apple, refreshing, but as expected from space and deep sea ⁉️, it is drinkable enough on its own. With soba noodles. We were lucky at the last minute, as both soba and bonito seemed to have finished just after us. Thank you all for your reviews and we enjoyed reading them this year. We look forward to working with you again next year. Have a happy New Year 🎍.

This is the second drink of New Year's Eve at a soba and sake restaurant in Kochi. The Omachi sake stands out for its thick, rich, mellow, and abundant sweetness. This time, unusually, I will be spending New Year's Eve in Tokyo. I was strolling around Arakicho, a drinker's paradise, and found this soba and sake restaurant from Kochi. A freshly squeezed junmai ginjo, delicious as expected! I think most Tosa sake is spicy, but this one is fruity, fresh sweet and bitter, a morning show girl type 🤣 -> Showa💦. It's the end of the year! Year-end parties are concentrated at a fancy restaurant in Azabudai Hills near our office, so it looks like we'll be drinking sake at home for a while 😅. So I decided to concentrate on my favorite nigori for drinking at home and bought this one. I chose it on a hunch because of its appearance and the fact that there was only one bottle left 🤣. The aroma was sweet and sour, the taste was slightly barium ⁉️, but it was easy to drink yogurt-like without much al feeling. Delicious! And I accidentally drank 2 glasses and felt so good ♬ it's Dom Perignon, not Dom Peri 🤣. Here is a quote The product name "DONBERI" is derived from the Aomori dialect word "DOBUROKU" which means "DONBE", and the name "DONBERI" means the highest quality of "DONBE".

I've blanked again...it's been a while since I've had a drink at home! I drank it at a corner bar at GINZA SIX before and was so impressed that I bought a bottle of Gonka. I opened it and found it tasted sour and clear, like a white wine! I wondered if it tasted like this ⁉️, but my husband, who is a down-home drinker, said, "That's doburoku, you have to mix it. I thought it tasted like this , but my husband, who is not a drinker, said, "That's doburoku, so you have to mix it. After mixing it and making doburoku, it became a lactic acid bacteria beverage with a greffle flavor that tastes tangy on the tongue while maintaining the sour aroma. Delicious! I am a fan of the "rice shaving" method. It is not about "grinding the rice to clean the taste. Change the soil to clean up the taste and eliminate the miscellaneous flavors. The complex and fine flavor seems to be reflected in the persistence in growing the rice from the soil 😄.

For various reasons, I will be having my favorite sake, Sentori, which I have not had in a while. It's the season of the red dragonfly, I guess it's the sign of winter 😅. We compared 2022 and 2023. My favorite is 2023, it is more acidic and has a crisp and refreshing taste, but also has depth. The 2022 is blended with Kame-no-o and Omachi, but the 2023 seems to be a single Yamadanishiki. This is the second round of the Hokkaido golf camp reflections. The fourth one is the BIG BOSS at Escondido Field 😆. This one is a Junmai Daiginjo, and is said to be suitable for a mid-meal drink. It is indeed a refreshing and clear sake that does not disturb the taste of sashimi and sushi, but it is not only light but also has a soft mellow and sweet taste. At the Hokkaido Golf Camp. Score was bowling as usual, but we made up for it with delicious sushi and our first escon field experience 😂. My friend's father waited for me to prove that Hokkaido's sake is also of a high level (lol). This sake is from Director Kuriyama's hometown. Oh, the rich melon, mellow aroma, very delicious. Perhaps it is because it is from Yubari. It has a fruity flavor with a clear sweetness, but it is not too heavy and goes well with sashimi. As one would expect from Hokkaido, the depth of this sake is very deep!

Hi Pon! Yes, this is a great place to enjoy fresh fish from Shizuoka and sake to go with it 😊. I don't progress in golf itself, so I only look forward to playing golf to reflect on the game 🤣.

Hi Jay & Nobby! I say "reflection", but I'm not reflecting at all, so I'm not progressing 🤣. Yes, the drink here was really a big-boned ‼️. I wish I could make shots like that 😅.

I conquered 47 prefectures and arrived at the last one, Okinawa! The entrée was oysters from Tohoku 🤣. Like the aforementioned Miyazaki, this was just a selection for the time being... but I made a surprising discovery. It has a clear, classic, and thick-boned taste. Like the cheerful and energetic temperament of the people of Okinawa, this is sake! It's good, isn't it? It has a clear assertion that "This is sake! This is a good food sake. It is not my personal favorite direction, but I wanted to tell the Okinawan sake shop owner who said "Okinawan sake is not good" that it is not true, it is very flavorful 😊.

I had a great time at the Tokyo Off-line Meeting last week! But I still drank too much and missed uploading it 🤣. I'm in the process of conquering all 47 prefectures of Japan, including sake, and this is Miyazaki, the 46th prefecture. I ordered this sake with the impure motive that I had to conquer it anyway, but it is a well-balanced and tasty food sake. It has a subtle, gorgeous aroma and a full-bodied flavor. The sweetness, acidity, and umami are a trinity, well balanced! Miyazaki is one of my favorite prefectures for its mild tropical atmosphere, so I look forward to drinking it next time I am in my hometown 😊.

The third meeting with high school seniors. It was a pity that we didn't have any Nagano sake, even though we are a former Nagano Prefecture citizens' association 😅. We had this instead of dessert at the end. At the start, the impression of the sweet and rich aroma is still there, with the rich sweetness of rice. After that, a definite spiciness follows, and the spiciness is the final straw. It was described as sweet, but for me it was dry. I wanted to try it, but it was not on the menu.

This is the second meeting with high school seniors. We shared it with the seniors who said they like Brahma the best. I also like Brahma, but this is the first time for me to try Tokishirazu 😊. It is described as a rich, dry, ice-aged, specially aged sake... but it is not heavy, and it is easy to drink. It was a well-balanced food sake with a mellow, mature taste and gorgeous aroma due to its aging.
