When I visited Okinawa last month, I requested a tour of the Taiseki Sake Brewery, but was told that due to the aging of the factory, the tour is not available at this time. ...... Instead, I bought a bottle as a souvenir at a liquor store that I was told about. The aroma was slightly fermented, perhaps because it is a tropical sake. The taste has a strong rice flavor due to the 70% rice polishing ratio, as well as a touch of astringency and bitterness. It goes well with dishes with strong flavors.

My son brought me a souvenir of "Reimei," the only sake made in Okinawa, the southernmost tip of Japan. It is a somewhat sweet sake, but also has a heavy, nostalgic flavor.

Okinawa's only sake, I decided to try it with my meek soul 😳. First of all, I was surprised at the pink color 🫢. I was nervous that it would be a bit peculiar, but the aroma was sweet, and when I took a quick sip, I felt a hint of sweetness, which was surprisingly normal for a sake! But when I tasted it, I felt the strength of the sake. It tasted like sake I've had somewhere else, a hire-shu or a cooked sake,? I don't think people who like dry sake will resist 🍶. Just not my taste, I guess. (A little taste of cheap sake...) I wonder what the honjozo tastes like, one time is enough for now lol.

It's kind of a robust drink. The person in attendance said it was similar to fin sake, and that it was savory. The waiter told us that there is only one sake brewer in Okinawa. Accompanied by sashimi. It was fresh!

Sake from the only sake brewery in Okinawa Prefecture. Perhaps it is because of the difficulty of fermentation due to its location, but the aroma that leaves the mouth and nose is quite unique. It is so unique that it can be roughly classified into Okinawa (Reimei) and others. It may not be suitable for those who are not good at sake. It is quite sharp.

Sake degree +8 Acidity 1.9 Alcohol content 16%. I asked someone who went to Okinawa to buy it for me, but he said it was very hard to find a place where it was sold. I was grateful to have it. It has a lot of flavor and little sweetness, with a crisp aftertaste that goes well with just about anything.
