Winter Nigorinpic 37
At this Nigorinpik, we started with the sake we hadn't had yet 😀 We drank Banshu Ichiken on the lees last year.
Last year, I drank this Banshu Ikkyo Lees Tangled and was so impressed with the adult melon soda and Orin that I got it again this year but couldn't open the bottle 😅.
We couldn't hold back any longer and opened the bottle a little out of order 🤣.
This year's adult melon soda was just as delicious as last year's. 😇
Banshu Issen Shichiho Junmai Starch Tangle Nama
Hyogo Kitanishiki
Fruity and punchy.
A melon for sure.
Sweet and fresh, but with a good amount of bitterness.
Banshu Issen is one of my favorite brands.
When you take a sip, you may feel the sweet and delicious taste that is typical of Banshu Ichiken at first, but the sweetness quickly fades away and the acidity and a little bit of spiciness spread quickly.
Unlike the usual junmai ginjos and other dark mellow umamikuchi type wines, this one does not have a sweet taste that lives up to its name of "super-harsh.
It goes well with less flavorful foods such as sashimi, but it is also good with strong flavored foods.
Bubbles in the glass and a slight
Pizzicato.
Sweet and deliciously handsome
Finish with just a little bit of bitterness
Some spring vegetables are characterized by bitterness.
Anyway, it is a beautiful sake with a mineral taste.
