I have always loved prefectural antenna stores and tend to buy all sorts of things when I see them. This is a bottle I found in a corner of the Miyazaki Products Museum in Shinjuku's Southern Terrace.
The brewer, Sentoku Shuzo, is the only sake brewery in Miyazaki, the land of shochu. It has a beautiful appearance reminiscent of the tropical sea, and the taste is sweet and bitter like brown sugar, with a strong umami flavor that goes well with strong-flavored home cooking.

I saw my first "Sentoku" label at a sake store, so I bought it without hesitation!
I enjoy the guerrilla event-like experience of encountering the Sentoku series from time to time 👐.
When I opened the bottle and poured it, I found aromas of peaches, plums, and molasses.
The mouthfeel is light, with a sinking touch of juicy sweetness.
The palate is light on the palate, with a touch of juicy sweetness, followed by chestnut and grain-like flavors, and then a hard-edged umami of hot, sour, astringent, and pure crispness.
The first half is the same brewery's "Until the middle of a dream" series.
The second half is similar to the traditional "Sentoku" series.

There are only a few prefectures left that I haven't tasted yet 😁This is my first time in Miyazaki Prefecture. I found Sandesi's Sentoku at a Miyazaki Prefecture antenna store in Shinjuku 💡. The aroma is weak and neither the fragrance is very strong. It is an easy-to-drink mid-meal sake with a light and refreshing taste with little sweetness. It is a sake to taste the flavor of rice. It is tastier than what I had imagined 😊.
