☀️
We had this because we had a selection of drinks from the south and we decided to drink them 😆.
It's brewed with Yamada Nishiki grown in Miyazaki 🌾.
They make Yamada Nishiki in Miyazaki 😳.
The taste is very smooth and smooth.
A hint of sweetness 😚 and a touch of bitterness at the end.
Bitterness at the end and a touch of alcohol 👊.
Sentoku has to be like this... ❗️
Good evening, Jay & Nobby😄.
I'm glad you could feel the lukewarmness: ☺️
I've seen "Sentoku" a lot, but this is the first time I've seen this one 🙄 Nice call, isn't it ❣️
This is one of the few sake breweries in Nobeoka City in the northern part of Miyazaki Prefecture. In Kyushu, there are many breweries that also make shochu, but this brewery has a history of over 120 years without making shochu. It is a little dry and has a shochu-like aftertaste. The aroma is neat. The alcohol content is 19 degrees.
Finally met Miyazaki 🍶✨.
I heard that some of my estranged relatives were going on a trip to Kyushu, so I took this opportunity to beg them for 🍶😅.
It's easier to drink than I expected and silky ❣️
It's also delicious with just the right amount of sweetness 😋.
I drank it in gulps after mixing it with a little soda 🤣.
Thanks for your time, Muro 🥂 (Cheers)
First Miyazaki sake ~㊗️🎉Distant relatives to have... 🤔🤣 Sentoku's nigori sake is delicious ♡I liked this one too 💕Did you mix it with carbonated water?
Good morning, Mr. Muro ☀☀☀☀.
Miyazaki sake is still a bit difficult to drink 😅.
I finally had a chance to drink "Sentoku" at home a while ago and it was easier to drink than I expected 🥰.
Hi Muro 😃
I think you can't find Sentoku very often. I would like to try it if I have a chance 😅I think it is recommended to drink it with carbonated water 🤣.
Congratulations on finishing your Miyazaki sake, Mr. Muro 🎉🎊.
Sake you don't see very often, it's hard to ask for it, but it's now or never 😆 Carbonated sake also looks delicious: ❣️
Good evening, Mr. Muro 😃.
Congratulations on your first Chitoku and first Miyazaki burial ㊗️㊗️ double 🎉.
I'm sure your relatives must have been happy to be asked to help.
Good evening, Tsubu!
Thank you 😁.
It has always been well said that the best thing to have is a distant relative and a nearby drinking buddy ❣️ 🥹✨.
I loved it 💖 it tasted even better than I imagined it would.
I split it with leftover highball soda😅
Hi Gyve, good evening...
The hurdle was too high for me, I couldn't help myself, I bowed down and asked for it😅
It's true that Sentoku-san is easy to drink and I wanted to try other drinks ❣️ but it seems to be strict 😭
Good evening, Hiro-san!
If you haven't seen it even at Hiro's, you're not likely to find it in Fukushima Prefecture 🥲.
I asked ‼️ for anything Miyazaki 🍶 and it happened to be nigori sake.
It was nigori sake 😁I fell in love with it 💖.
Good evening, Pon...
Thank you 😊
I'm glad I asked 🥰.
It's quite difficult for me to do it myself...
I tried it with a Wilkinson that I happened to have.
It was refreshing and delicious 😋.
Good evening Dr. Jay & Dr. Nobby....
Thank you😊
It made me think that I need to start thinking about my relatives from now on😅.
I did my best to cut the grass for begging 😭.
I'm sure they were happy to see you 😅
Purchased at the National Sake Fair 2025: ☝️
Since it is from Miyazaki, I thought it would have a peculiar taste, like shochu, but...
It was very refreshing and easy to drink❗️
You can't find it very often in Kansai, but I may have become a fan of Sentoku Shuzo😊.
Sentoku today.
Nama-shu is a freshly stored sake that is heat-treated just before shipping. The alcohol content is 12%.
It has a clear profile that is typical of alsochu liqueur, but if you drink it well chilled, this is flavored water, for better or for worse! 😆😅
It might go better with meat wrapped rice balls (a bit old-fashioned?) than with shochu at all! Personally, I don't think shochu goes well with rice.
I recommend Koi no Shizuku among the Sentoku series we drank this time.
Sentoku today. Koi no Shizuku Junmai Daiginjo.
It was served well chilled.
Light at 12% alcohol, soft on the palate, what can I say, this is simply, slightly sweet water.
If you call it a love drop, it might be, but it is more like watermelon juice.
Frankly, it has more of a Kabuto feel to it than "Kabuto".
Sentoku today.
Sentoku is the pride of Miyazaki, the shochu prefecture.
It has a traditional taste.
Basically, they do not make shochu, but sake.
The chicken nanban and deep-fried Mexicali are the best in Nobeoka. Shochu is good and sake is good. Everything is good. I love Miyazaki.
This Sentoku definitely goes well with fried Mexicali.
Only 2 more to go until I conquer the whole country: ‼️
Hello Shikatarou 😃!
Congratulations on your first Miyazaki sake at Sentoku-san ㊗️ 🎉Saitama is going to be ready to drink soon, but the other one is the most difficult one 😅Good luck ‼️
Thank you, Jay & Nobby! Yes, I've been looking for a place to go to for a while now! There, the information itself is kind of unclear, maybe the only sake brewery is closed 😂⁉️
And I've decided that Saitama is a hana-yosu, but I haven't come across it at all 😂.
Miyazaki Purchase at a convenience store
Today is the Miyazaki business trip edition 🗾.
I was determined to drink sake in Miyazaki 🍶 until I went on a business trip ☺️
However! Miyazaki is indeed the place to be! There are so many shochu (Japanese liquor) 😌 and you can drink shochu very cheaply....
I think I'll become a shochu drinker if I stay here for a year or so 🤔I didn't think it would be this much!
Anyway, I asked if there was any sake in Miyazaki, and the sake I heard about was this Sentoku💁.
It's nice to meet you, Sentoku Shuzo!
I immediately opened the bottle 🍶 It's delicious 😋.
A little bit mellow and easy to drink 🤔This drinkability in a single cup is quite good 😁.
I'm starting to wonder about Junmai too.
I might buy some if I see it on my way home.
Thank you very much for the drink!
Hi, chilled tomato 😃.
I guess shochu is still the mainstream in Miyazaki!
Congratulations on your Miyazaki burial㊗️ in a can of Sentoku 🎉Drinking it there is the best 🤗.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😆
I really wanted to try some sake at the local izakaya, but they were too full of shochu people... 😌 I think I saw more Niigata sake in Miyazaki rather often! Strange 🤔.
The annual physical examination is always in Shinjuku
After the checkup, we go straight to Miyazaki Pavilion.
Of course, to get some sake!
There it is, there it is, there it is, there it is, there it is, there it is, there it is, there it is, there it is, there it is, there it is!
It was a little dry, but had just the right amount of sweetness and umami from the rice, so before I knew it, I was chipping away at my sake 🤭.
Finally, I was able to paint it in Miyazaki Prefecture colors 👏.
The "brown sugar fure" I bought as a souvenir was delicious, just like steamed bread 😋.
Good morning, Rinako 😃.
Thanks for the checkup 😌.
Congratulations on your first fill ㊗️ at Sentoku Sandesi in Shinjuku Miyazaki Kan 🎉We did as well 🤗.
Now it's the most difficult one that remains!
Hi Jay & Nobby 😃I see you got it at the same place 🙌I was able to do my best for the checkup thinking that Chitoku is waiting for me at the end of the valium 😁Okinawa, the southernmost and most difficult part of the island! I want to conquer it 🍶.
Sake from the brewery where I traveled.
It is a junmai daiginjo and costs about 550 yen for 300 milliliters. It is sweet, refreshing, and has a common taste without much depth. Not too bad, not too bad at all.
Purchased at the Miyazaki Antenna Shop in Shinjuku
There were about three different brands, but I bought this one from Sandesi to try first!
There were various kinds of char-grilled jidori chicken to go with the sake, so I had it as a snack.
The aroma was mild, and I first felt a clean sweetness, followed by a full flavor and a gentle acidity. The aftertaste is somewhat sweet with a hint of chestnut. It is very easy to drink, and I think it goes well with charcoal-grilled Jidori chicken.
I also bought the same sandesi at the same antenna store to conquer Miyazaki prefecture, and if anything, I also bought a charcoal chicken lol I remember that the sentoku was surprisingly tasty with a full flavor 😁.
Good evening, studying 😀.
Thanks for the rice ✨
So it was the same to the charcoal chicken? It was just as delicious as I expected it to be 😁 Miyazaki sake is almost never available at liquor stores in Kanto, so thank goodness for conquering it!
Hi Jay & Nobby😃Thank you for your comment!
Thank you for your comment...I see that you all use the Shinjuku Antenna Shop! It will be one of the fun to look for Sake and snacks at the Antenna Shops 😁.
