It is the first Kamikawa Taisetsu. I was attracted by the white koji and bought it. The aroma is of citrus and lactic acid, with some caramel. In the aftertaste, there is a touch of vinegar. So, of course, the sourness is dominant. There is also sweetness, but it is characterized by a sharp acidity. The aftertaste is also sour. The umami is mixed in there. Rather than being crisp, it is a very drinkable sake. It is surprising that it is low alcohol and white malt. It can be fully enjoyed alone.

Long time no post My parents brought this as a souvenir from their trip to Hokkaido, and I'm grateful to have it! It is as sharp and dry as the name "dry" suggests! However, the rice flavor and sweetness are also present. The aroma is almost banana-like! It goes well with sashimi!

Event. Sake Fair 2024. Hokkaido's booth was quite crowded 🥳. I'm going to drink in between when there are less people 😎. Sake. The color is clear. Taste is sweetness and slight sourness. The sweetness seems to be a little tender. The aroma is not taken away. The sake is mainly clustered around sweetness 🍶😊.

I've had quite a few different kinds of Hokkaido sake. I've been thinking for a while now that I'm nearing the 200th anniversary of Hokkaido Sake. I thought it would be a good time to commemorate this milestone with something that caught my attention. There are many Hokkaido sake tonight! Hekiunkura or Tokachi-haru? I decided on the Tokachi-Harajin with the hope that the rainy weather would clear up tomorrow since it was labeled "Junmai-Ginjo"! Oh, what came out was Junmai Comet. What can I do? But isn't this price a little expensive for Junmai? The taste is quite heavy. It's a little acidic. Let's drink it little by little! Following the vegetable tempura, sea urchin and oysters (which we had ordered additionally) appeared! Freshly fried sea urchin wrapped in nori (seaweed), a little bitter, but it goes great with the clear Tokachi weather! And the extra large oysters! The oysters were sprinkled with a little salt powder, so the spiciness of the salt combined with the sweetness of the oysters made the sake go down so fast that we finished it in no time at all 🍶! I left the restaurant after two glasses (2 gou) that day! The rain stopped and I was able to return to the hotel without an umbrella! It was recommended to me at a restaurant in Akasaka. It is a slightly sparkling low-alcohol draft made with white malted rice. The refreshing acidity and slight sweetness do not leave any residue on the tongue, and it is very refreshing and easy to drink. The first drink of the summer.
