The tengu-like figure is a painting from the Shimoda Kaikoku Museum collection, so it must be a portrait of Commodore Perry 😅.
The sake has been submerged at the bottom of the sea since 2023 to mature....
It is slightly amber in color and does not have much of a ginjo aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, you feel the aroma and mildness peculiar to matured sake, but soon the peculiar astringency and bitterness spread. The single rating is 3 stars😅.
It is better to drink it as a food sake when you have leftover food such as today's appetizers, bamboo shoots stew and mozuku vinegar in your mouth, than to drink it alone.
