I went to Mashidaya.
The clerk recommended a variety of Tochigi sake, and also recommended Nanamizu, but all they had in stock were bottles 😅.
The only bottle they had was the last bottle of this sake. He recommended this fruity sake, and we immediately decided to try it.
We opened the bottle in our room before dinner.
It was so fruity that it changed my concept of what sake should be like.
I didn't even ask for the price, but it was ok 🫢.
Lunch was also recommended by the waitress, Soba Kaoru, and was a Soba set.

I had a little bit of a crack 😅.
Unlike the last Omachi, it had a stronger wine taste as described 😋.
I've been drinking a lot of low-alcohol winey or champagne-like sake lately, so this was another tasty one 😍.

I saw this Nanamizu brewed by Toraya Honten in Utsunomiya City, my hometown, at the supermarket. It was my first time to try it.
This time, it was a standard fire-brewed TYPE with room temperature distribution.
The rice used is domestic rice.
Polishing ratio is 65
Alcohol content is between 15 and 16 degrees Celsius.
Specifications are for fire-aged sake
Production date: August 2025
When the bottle is opened, the aroma is rather subdued, with a hint of rice aroma and fullness. The aroma is faintly fruity, with a hint of pear.
When poured into a sake cup, it presents a clear, clear, pale golden color and is of a smooth and silky nature.
Taking a sip, it has a refreshing mouthfeel with a light acidity. A grain-like flavor gradually spreads in the mouth, giving it a soft but slightly dry feeling. The aftertaste is sharp and has little bitterness or other unpleasant tastes.
The aroma is mild and the taste is calm, making it a good mid-meal drink.

It's sweet but has a nice sharpness to it so it can be enjoyed alone or with a meal. ‼️
This Nanamizu is an IWC 2025 Gold Award winning sake 🏆 and as the white label says, it's back to the basics 😌 and starting over for 800 😌.
Since we started "Sake no Wa" in November 2021, the content is still the same as before 😅 a little bit of sake, a lot of chatting, anthropomorphism and the usual posts 😅.
I wonder if we are becoming an old group before we know it 🤔We would like to continue to enjoy drinking with all the new and old residents of the sakewa world 🤗.
It's hard to write vertically 😅 in Tochigi Ai 🥰.

After coming home from Koshien, Monday is not a day for drinking, but since we won, I decided to open the bottle 😁.
I know it says the cork will pop, but it didn't 😅
Slightly effervescent, with grapefruit and citrus flavors as it says. And beautiful acidity.
It's one of the most beautiful type of sake I've ever had.
I love that the flavor doesn't lose its shape even after a few days have passed.
