Recently, I have been drinking a lot of Saga sake. Saga is a rice-producing region, and there are many really good sakes. Today, I had a cup of pure rice sake from Kibotsuru.
This sake is certified by Saga Prefecture as a sake with a designation of controlled origin.
It seems that Saga Prefecture has its own standard for junmai sake and authentic shochu, in order to deliver to consumers products of excellent quality made from 100% Saga Prefecture-grown raw materials.
This is a bottle that Saga Prefecture people can't get enough of!
We received this in November exactly one year ago from Kiho Velvet in Saga 😀.
This year, I was able to enjoy it again with the tax payment from my hometown in Kiyama-cho, Saga Prefecture 😇.
The flavor is just amazing and comes to the forefront with full force 😀.
The sweetness comes with a citrus-like acidity and finishes off nicely 😀.
I was happy to be able to enjoy it for the first time in a year😇.
Olive oil 🫒 to go with the kamaboko.
My son gave me this as a gift, but it didn't come with the kamaboko from Suzuhiro, so I didn't get a chance to taste it until later.
I wanted to drink it with Kihotsuru.
The Tsumugi series.
It had a soft sweetness, juicy green apple-like flavor and spread

I found some autumnal sake at the liquor store 👀👀👀.
I only saw it in a bottle last year, so I didn't buy it,
I went to Asano Sake Shop and bought a four-pack of Kihotsuru which was delicious 👀😍.
These were the last two bottles.
The aroma is subdued and the label on the back says it smells like bananas!
Is the banana subtle? The sweetness is subdued and the matured flavor and orange peel-like bitterness makes me want another glass 😅.
