This is the wrong brand it’s from Tochigi from Hokkan. The cheapest sake in Donquixote in Bangkok and so very smooth and balanced at medium chill. It’s actually very close to water.

Purchased at Mekada Sake Shop in Utsunomiya City A store that I stop by on my way home from a recent trip to the Tohoku region. I saw it wrapped in newspaper in the Tochigi Prefecture's local sake corner and bought it, believing the pop-up sign! It goes great with oden or anything with a Japanese broth! It made the sake taste much better. It was the most delicious sake I have ever had in the sake brewery in Tochigi Prefecture.

Recommended by the owner of a certain sake shop that I have been a customer of for many years. I remember seeing a review on Sake no Wa before that said it was probably purchased at this store. It is made with 50% Yamada Nishiki polished rice and No.7 yeast. It was slightly foamy when I opened the bottle. I drank it for about two weeks after that, and the flavor gradually settled down, but it was still thick! Full-bodied, heavyweight. It has too many elements. If you drink it at room temperature, the various flavors will come at you at different times. I tried changing the temperature and heating it up, but I think it's best to keep it hot. This time, the whole thing became a sphere and boom. But there's a finesse to it that I think comes from the Yamada Nishiki. I thought it was a very deep sake.

Sake made from rice! It's a sake that makes you reaffirm that it's made from rice! It has enough sweetness, but it also has miscellaneous flavors and an alcoholic feel, so it has a bold impression! But it's a rice-like sweetness, so it's a completely different world from fruity! That's why it has a sake meter of +3... I realized how meaningless this number is to my taste buds. I think it's best to pair it with food with strong flavors. Probably, but it would go well with Chinese and Western food too! It's so easy to drink lukewarm sake!
