Pretty mild not too sweet not too dry. I feel it’s aged a bit from Hyogo over to Bangkok. There are a lot of better Nihonshu’s out there but for the price this one is really good with some bbq chips and tropical fruits pineapple and guava which pairs well with this. Hints of melon as well.
It’s noticeably heavier than the others I’ve had tonight. Well balanced. Dry. Nice burn. Notes of berries and oak. Bought from Thailand so maybe a bit different than from Hokkaido.
This is the wrong brand it’s from Tochigi from Hokkan. The cheapest sake in Donquixote in Bangkok and so very smooth and balanced at medium chill. It’s actually very close to water.
