Looking Back Post #2 in SHIMA On my way back from visiting my in-laws on a holiday weekend in September, I had some time to spare, so I dropped by SHIMA & Coffee & Sake 😁. It was about an hour before closing time, so let's go quickly and start with a cup of this 🍶. Daimine 3 Grains Summer Jun Kasumi Nama-Nishiki Nama-Nishiki. The aroma of rice with a hint of apple, slight carbonation on the tip of the tongue, and the mouthfeel is light and refreshing, with a slight apple sweetness and sourness that finishes with a refreshing aftertaste. Easy to drink and refreshing 😋. I've never had a "Daimine 3 Grain" at home before, but I finally got it the other day at Shusendo Horiichi in Nagoya ✨. I'm looking forward to opening it now, but it's going to take a while since I have so much in stock💦.

Looking back post 1) I've been coordinating my posts for the 400 check-ins, so I'll digest what I've accumulated 😁. Okazaki Sake Brewery] which was one of my final destinations on my trip to Shinshu in August 🏠️ When I visited, there were two types of sake on sale: "Yumemizuho" and "Yamae Nishiki", so I bought both ✨. First, I opened the "Yumemizuho" and had a sip 🍶. I got my wish and drank "Shinshu Kamerei" at home for the first time 😋. ［Gulping down the sake.] The aroma of rice with a full flavor and a hint of sourness in the background, a slight carbonation at the tip of the tongue, a strong umami and sweetness, and a lingering, slightly bitter aftertaste. ［Mokkiri.] A slight aroma of white peaches, a firm umami and juicy sweetness on the palate, followed by a long, sweet aftertaste. The atmosphere of firm, juicy umami and sweetness is exactly the image of the "Shinshu Kamerei" that I have drunk so far 😁. I was surprised that even edible rice could be so deliciously "Shinshu Kamerei" like 😲. The entrée was seasonal "bonito tataki" and a gift "octopus teriyaki" 🐙.

This time I reached 400 check-ins: 🏳️ To commemorate this milestone, I would like to open a bottle of "that thing" and have a drink 🍶. Hakugakuzen Misora Junmai Daiginjo Slightly Sparkling I thought I had drunk almost all kinds of "Hakugakusen", but the newest one in the last few years is "Miku", which means "light blue like a bright and clear autumn sky" and is named after the Japanese name for the color "Miku". [Gugumi-nomi]. The aroma of rice with a translucent sweet atmosphere, the slight carbonation that can be felt on the tongue, the slight sweetness and full flavor, the long and pleasant aftertaste, and the bitter taste at the back of the throat that lingers at the end. Trip time: 25 seconds ［Mokkiri.] The aroma of rice is clear and beautiful, the mouthfeel is weaker than that of a sake with a small mouthful of sake, and the slight carbonation is felt on the tip of the tongue, and while the soft sweetness of the umami is felt, the acidity is felt and it finishes with a long and pleasant aftertaste. Both of them have a clear and clear drinking experience, and the change of umami, sweetness, and sourness in the taste is even beautiful, which is linked to the meaning of the word "gozora. October 1 has been recognized as "Sake Day" and various other anniversaries because of its drunkenness. I would like to make a toast to commemorate this day this year as well, but I'm going to open this one and have a drink 😁. Otter Blue Type 50 I got this at a rather early time in early spring, aiming to achieve the [+1] and [Plus One More] that had not yet been filled in on the Sake-no-Wawa map of Japan✨. At this time of year when we start making new sake, we will toast to Sake Day by drinking a sake that has taken on a new challenge 🥂. ［Gugurami.] The aroma is full, sweet, and fruity, with a melon-like sweetness that flows smoothly into the mouth, and a long, pleasant aftertaste that lingers in the throat and mouth. ［Mokkiri.] The same sweet and fruity ginjo aroma, with a stronger umami flavor than that of the guginomi, and the same sweetness and minerality that flows smoothly into the mouth and leaves a pleasantly long aftertaste. The entrées were smoked Oji salmon and Engawa yukke, which we bought at a Hokkaido product exhibition, and seared nodogurouro, which we bought at a supermarket. It was a day of drunken encounters with new sake, combining seafood from the North Sea and Hokuriku with sake brewed in the U.S.A. with the "Ottersai" ism 😁.

The other day, my dad and I went to my parents' house for a long time. We started with beer 🍺, then I brought the rest of the "True White" that I had opened the other day, and my dad brought out some sake that had been laying around for a while, so we had a drink here 🍶. Kansai Junmai Sake. I often drink "Kansai Kaisen" hot, but this is my first time to drink Junmai Sake 🤔. Clean and beautiful rice aroma, rounded flavor and refreshingly pleasant aftertaste, probably due to the cellaring. The taste is different from Katayama's other brand "Gassa Junmai Ginjo", but it's hard to tell how much of it is due to the aging process 💦. However, I have a feeling it would make a beautiful hot sake when heated. By the way, when I gave "True White" to my father, he said it was too sweet, but when my mother drank it, she said it was delicious 😁. The fourth picture is from a trip to Atsuta Jingu Shrine in Nagoya, where I lived for two years after graduating from high school, to purify my car and eat Hitsumabushi. ［It was my first time to eat at "Unagi Owada" because "Atsuta Horaiken" was closed, but the sauce was much lighter than this one.

The schedule that was supposed to take all the holidays in the second half of Silver Week, the second peak of the three peaks of the mountain range of work in September, wound up resulting in a day off on Sunday and Monday 😁. Wife and kids went home to see the festival at my parents-in-law's house, so I had to take a local train to catch up with them 🚃. I went to Fukui station, so I stopped by Osaketo (fish) and Mizumoto (wine), where I always buy "Abe" (rice wine), for the first time 🚶. I looked around the store to see what I wanted to drink and found something I liked, so I decided on this one 🍶. Hakuryu Junmai Ginjo KEYKEG The first sake brewery in Fukui Prefecture to introduce KEG bottles 😲. Fruity and sweet rice aroma, fresh and juicy sweetness from the slight carbonation on the tip of the tongue to a full and pleasantly sweet aftertaste, and finally a strong bitterness that lingers in the back of the throat. Wow! This is quite delicious! Hakuryu" is a sweet Fukui sake, but it is considered dry in Japan, but I didn't expect it to be so mellow and fruity. ✨️ KEG bottles, I'd love to try some of the other breweries 💡. Something tells me you've been chosen as this week's check-in, I'm embarrassed to say it's a bad one💦. The train car I took on the way back from Echizen Railroad was decorated with Pokemon's "Kairu" design!

Sono Kangiku True White Actually, on September 18, the day of the full moon, I replaced my car that I had driven for almost 9 years. I have always kept my car red, but this time I opened a bottle of "True White" to commemorate my first white car 😁. Well, it's like switching from [GUN CANNON] to [Gundam] 🤔. ［Gugumi-nomi] Aroma of full sweet rice, a strong carbonation sensation on the tip of the tongue and the back of the throat, a pear-like sweetness, a deep and pleasant aftertaste, and finally an astringent almost pungent taste on the tip of the tongue. ［Tsuki no Oubai.] Strong sweet rice aroma, slight carbonation on the tip of the tongue, followed by a firm sweetness and a pear-like aroma on the nose, and a pleasantly sweet and fruity aftertaste. Well, after two glasses, I chose this one that I was most interested in when I saw the bottle for the last glass. Takeba Noto wo Sake Junmai Shu in Akabu Shuzo. It has a full, sweet rice aroma, a sweetness that is typical of Akabu, a banana-like flavor, and an aroma that passes through the nose and finishes with a shallow aftertaste and a clean finish. This is a bottle brewed by the Kazuma Brewery, which brews entirely with rice grown in Noto that was damaged in the Noto Peninsula earthquake, and asked an outside brewery to brew Yumemizuho on consignment so that the contract farmers could continue to grow rice for brewing. ✨ As the end of this year is in sight, we invite you to support Noto by drinking it! I headed home this evening with great satisfaction 😁.

It has a cool, slightly sweet, fruity aroma, a sweet ginjo aroma that passes through the nose behind a firm umami flavor, and then fades out to a refreshingly narrow finish, with a refreshingly clean and slightly sweet aftertaste from the alkaloids. The sweetness of the alky sweetness that works well in the background while being super dry is intoxicating 😋.

It was a consecutive autumn holiday, and I woke up at 4:30 a.m. to go to work in Takahama Town, the westernmost municipality in Fukui, once a month this fiscal year💦. It's over 100 kilometers one way from Fukui City, so it took me a long time to get there, and by the time I finished my work and returned to the office to clean up, it was already late at night. I was thinking vaguely about where to stop for dinner when I heard that an izakaya (Japanese-style bar) had opened that was open until 3 a.m., which is quite rare in my hometown 🚙. I thought it would be a little cooler in September, but it's been brutally hot these past few days💦. After 2 hours of activity outside, I was drenched in sweat and even had to wring out a towel 😥. Now, since I sweated a lot during the day, I need to hydrate myself at night 😁So I'll open this bottle and have a drink 🍶. Nabeshima Special Junmai Sake Sandesi✨. This was given to me by Aladdin, who was with me on my business trip to Osaka in July, as Nabeshima must be hard to find ☺. ［Thank you again, Aladdin 🙇. This time, I had a gulp of the sake. It has a full rice aroma, a ginjo aroma, a clean taste, and a sweet taste with a hint of alcohol, which spreads softly before fading out and ending with a pleasant aftertaste. This is delicious 😋, a bottle you can drink all the time ✨. The entrée is tuna fillet and seared shime saba (mackerel) 🐟️ The sweetness that softly accelerates the savory and plump flavor of the seared mackerel goes well with the intoxicating flavor of the tuna and the fat that has been removed. Nabeshima" is hard to find in Fukui, so we are really thankful for that ✨. I'm hoping to be able to buy Nabeshima at one of the stores, but since it's a liquor store I don't usually go to, I think I'll start by showing up there more often 🤔.

I've been sober for a week since my last checkup 💦. No matter how many times I've done it, I think the time during the gastroscopy is the hardest time of the year 😵. Now that the checkup is over and I'm sober for the first time in a week, let's have a drink 🍶. Yamazan Junmai Ginjo Hitogokochi Gowari Unrefined Unrefined Unrefined Sake I bought this at the Eiya Bessho store in the Bessho Onsen spa resort I visited on my recent trip to Shinshu 😁. ［I bought it at the Eiya Bessho store in the Bessho Onsen district of Shinshu.] The aroma is mellow and apple-like, the slight carbonation on the tip of the tongue is a good taste and sweetness, and it finishes with an apple-like aroma typical of Shinshu sake, a pleasant fade-out of lingering umami, and bitterness that lingers in the back of the throat. ［Mokkiri.] A clean, sweet aroma of rice, a tangy, slightly carbonated mouthfeel, umami reminiscent of grated apples, and a pungent bitterness that comes afterwards, followed by a bitter taste that lingers at the back of the throat after it finishes. It is rare that the taste changes so noticeably depending on the sake cup, personally, I would definitely go for the sake cup ✨. This is the first "Yamazan" I've heard of 🎉 This is delicious! Inspired by [ma-ki-] and [Ao-chan], we went to our local [Okame] for take-out yakitori 🍖! There is a very drunken yakitori restaurant in Fukui, though it is hidden behind the famous Akiyoshi 😋.

Drinking at Daigo at the end of summer (8) The last order time has come, so we chose a brand that we have never had before for the last sake 🍶. Nozomu Junmai Ginjyo Hitogokochi Nama Genzake. Aroma of sweet rice with a refreshing yet tangy taste, light and refreshing sweetness, and a sharp aftertaste. Tochigi love, which can be felt even in Kanazawa, Hokuriku. It's fun to have such different sake lineups at different stores even in neighboring prefectures ✨. Thanks to the Shinkansen, Kanazawa and my hometown are connected by a 45-minute one-way trip, so I'm grateful to be able to make a day trip to drink and go home.

At the end of the summer, we drink at Daigo (7). After comparing two kinds of "Nabeshima", the all-you-can-drink time was coming to an end, so we chose this summer sake, which we drank the last time we came here. Aizu Nakasyo Summer Limited Edition Ginjo-shu. It has a sweet rice aroma similar to that of ramune, a refreshingly clean taste, a sweet taste, a refreshing finish, and a slightly sweet and clean aftertaste. The bottle design and taste are exactly like summer sake 🎐🍶. I wish there was a place near me where I could buy or drink it 🤣.

Drinking at Daigo at the end of the summer (6) We found another "Nabeshima" beside the cellar of "Nabeshima Junmai Daiginjo Yoshino Yamadanishiki Classic". Nabeshima Ginjo Summer Moon A sweet rice aroma with a fluffy aftertaste, a clean sweetness and sharpness with a strong presence on the palate, and a deep lingering aftertaste that leaves you with a feeling of deep relaxation. The taste brings back the emotions I felt when I first drank Nabeshima Junmai Ginjo 😋. The beauty of the "Junmai Daiginjo" and the characteristic sweetness of the "Ginjo-shu Summer Moon" made for a luxurious comparison of the two types of sake!

Drinking at Daigo at the end of summer (4) As we were getting drunk, we chose a sake that is hard to find in our hometown and had a drink with it. Hanayu Junmai Ginjo Dewa Sanzu. The rich fruity aroma of rice, the sweetness and umami that is light in contrast to the aroma, and the clean lingering and spreading aroma. The gap between the first impression of the rich aroma and the light, refreshing taste is unbearable 😁. Hana Yuu" has many fixed fans, and the taste is very convincing 😋.

Drinking at Daigo at the end of summer (3) Continuing with my new discovery, I found this one on the menu, which I gave up one type of sake in tears on my recent trip to Shinshu, so I chose it as my revenge. Ding Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu (Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu) The aroma of rice with a hint of sweetness, the mouthfeel is faintly sweet but firm, and the finish is clean and crisp, with a lingering sweet apple-like aftertaste typical of Shinshu sake. I regret not buying it at Miyajima Sake Shop 😭. Along with the limited edition KEG bottle of Daishinshu, it's a reminder of my trip to Shinshu💦.

Drinking at Daigo at the end of summer (2) After emptying the bottle of "Sake Mi", the next sake we requested was "Kahayo", but unfortunately it was out of stock💦. The waitress then came to our table with three different sakes and suggested alternatives ✨. I forgot one of them, but I chose this one from "Sairai" and "Igarashi", also from Saitama, which I hadn't had yet 🍶. Igarashi Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama Shu Nao Kumi. Sweet rice aroma with a hint of sourness, a thick texture on the tongue, a refreshing fruity sweetness, a mildly sharp finish, and a bitter aftertaste that lingers on the tongue. This one is also delicious. I got to know another delicious sake from Saitama 😁. The fourth photo is a premium pils🍺 from Rijkaim, a brewery that made its first appearance at the Oktoberfest. I thought the dumbbell-like mug was interesting and tried to drink it, but it had a rather interesting mechanism where the beer on the opposite side of the mouthpiece would foam up and flow in when it reached a certain point, allowing you to enjoy the beer with foam on it for as long as you like 🍻.

End of Summer Drinking at Sake Daigo (1) I was going to participate in the Sake Festival at the Osaka Takashimaya Department Store, but had to abandon the plan due to Typhoon No. 10. So we went to Oktoberfest, a German beer festival in Kanazawa, and then went to Sake Daigo for a sake course 🚄. I've been thinking about it, I rode the Shinkansen for the first time since it opened at Echizen Takefu Station, which I've seen since it was only a basic part of my job. After enjoying some directly imported German beer and food, we headed to Daigo 🚶. First of all, here's the opening drink 🍶! White Hitomi. Sweet and fruity aroma of rice, round and juicy sweetness with a fluffy mouthfeel, and a gentle and sweet aftertaste. The fruity sweetness is different from the "Gold Himi" I drank before 😋. Now, let's drink some more 😁.
