Junmai (Yamahai) Vintage (long-aged sake)
Polishing ratio 66
Alcohol 15-16 degrees Celsius
It is an aged sake with an extremely beautiful deep amber color.
It has a mellow aroma like Shaoxing sake.
In the mouth, it has an impressive richness reminiscent of dashi (Japanese soup stock) and a taste similar to that of Shaoxing sake.
This is indeed the pride of Kyoto Prefecture.
I bought this sake as a souvenir from a trip to Kyoto.
It has a sour taste and a slightly dry impression that goes down your throat nicely.
Most of the sake I've had made with Omachi rice has been mellow, but this one was a lot more robust.
This was a sake that gave me a taste of a new aspect of Omachi ✨.
Tamagawa Honjozo Shiboritate Nama-no-Nara Sake
Tamagawa is very strong even when al-soaked.
This is a strong cup with a sweetness that is more like a sweetness.
The moment you put it in your mouth, it is sweet. The aftertaste is bitter.

This is a fire-aged light nigori, which was unlikely to be available at Tamagawa until now. It is a slightly cloudy junmai ginjo reminiscent of Kumihama in winter. It is dry on the palate, but the nigori rice flavor can be gradually detected, and it has a Tamagawa-like quality of being able to cut through quickly while being immersed in the lingering flavor of the rice.
This is my first time at Tamagawa except for the ice breaker.
Cold sake.
The aroma is subdued.
Rich, full-bodied rice sweetness.
Sourness and a slight astringency on the back end.
The alcohol content is high (17%), so you can feel the strength of the alcohol after swallowing.
It went well with nabe dishes.
It's 2018BY so it's been 6 years! I bought it thinking it was a great find. The label on the back said it was good warmed up, but it tastes better at room temperature because it has a stronger sense of maturity👍.
When heated, it was too soft and crisp, almost like a Shaoxing wine 😓.

Dry, sticky umami and a hint of sweetness on the palate. The aftertaste is sourness and astringency.
Sake rice: Nipponbare (Shiga)
Unexpected deliciousness!
The label gave the impression of a modern sake, but I was betrayed in a good way🙆.
The brewer recommends it on the rocks, but it can be tasted well cold.

Once again, Happy New Year ⛩️
We look forward to working with you in the New Year 🤗.
Let's have a pleasant sake life 🍶.
I opened a bottle of this sake after returning to Kawasaki, which had been sitting there, not knowing when to drink it. It comes in a gold box and is gorgeous!
I need to drink Tamagawa myself, not just give it away. 🐈⬛
The alcohol content is just a little lower than the one I give to everyone else, between 17 and 18 degrees. Don't tell me that's an error 😆.
When you smell it freshly opened, it has a very gorgeous and sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth with that impression, it is as you would expect from Tamagawa, it is not sweet at first 😆 After the bitterness comes the slight sweetness. The taste is sharp and clean in the mouth. It is an interesting sake that can give various impressions. It was worth the high price.
Now, what should I choose for the Mahjong 🀄️'s dedication sake 😢.
Good morning, Takku0103 😁.
I'm having a good drink and watching all the delivery of my guesses that I couldn't see at the end of the year 😊.
I look forward to working with you again this year 🤲.
Good morning, Wakata-san 🌺
I see you drink a lot of good alcohol too 🥰I would like to meet you once. Like a group of women who are heavy drinkers (≠drinkers) 😆 I wonder how many will come forward 🤣.

Sake for hot sake recommended by the president of the liquor store
Aged sake brewed in 2018
The umami is quite strong! Quite a bit of acidity as well!
✩4.0
It has a weak aroma both through the nose and in the mouth, and does not have much umami, but I found myself drinking a lot of sake and getting drunk because I did not get tired of drinking it. I thought it was a good sake, although it did not have any special characteristics that made me drink more sake.
It tasted better when drunk chilled.
