It is very interesting because it is a sake made in the Edo period (1603-1868).
In the mouth, it has a very strong sweetness, almost like mirin (sweet sake).

It may seem conflicting, but this Christmas we had Tamagawa with seared sea urchin.
The rich seaside and sweet umami of the seared sea urchin goes well with the tasty flavor of the Tamagawa. 🙆♂️
I like modern sake, but I drink Tamagawa surprisingly often.
The more I drink it, the more I like it 🍶.
By the way, my wife seems to really like sake like Tamagawa 🤭.
