We compared the sake that is currently being made in Kyoto by English people.
The third bottle was Yabar! It was
Shaoxing sake? It was like Shaoxing sake.
It is classified as a miscellaneous sake with high alcohol content, but it is a more matured version.
We were given something very precious.
A comparison of sake made in Kyoto by an Englishman.
The second bottle was an aged version. Compared to the first bottle, it was more dry with a sake-like taste.

We started with the easiest one to drink, cold and warmed...

The spoils of the last season's second place in the Sake no Wa Mahjong: ‼️
Thank you so much Ane 🙏.
If you don't mind, please dedicate it again 😁.
Tamagawa's untouched sake is peculiar ⁉️ gutsy ⁉️
My expectations are growing 🎵
I thought it would be rough because it's untouched, but it has a Kyoto flavor or elegance ✨.
I want something like this 😉.
Ane-san, it was delicious👍!
I'm glad you liked it.
I think Mahjong 🀄️ will be dangerous again this season, so I will have to offer Tamagawa (is Tamagawa confirmed 😆) to someone else!
A cup of tears.
Kita Nishiki.
2023BY.
Warmed.
The umami comes from the first half of the bottle, with a slight acidity accenting the mid-palate.
The taste is very sweet, and the acidity is accentuated from the mid-palate.
My first nigori sake 👏.
The neighbor said it was like yogurt, which is understandable, with its refreshing acidity.
The acidity is not too strong and the texture is smooth and very easy to drink contrary to its appearance. ☺️
It doesn't come up in choosing a location, but I went to a liquor store in Honancho to buy Tamagawa's Yamahai nigori and found a white label Yamahai, so I went to a corner store to taste it.
At first, I had it cold 🍶.
The first aroma is sweet with a hint of acidity.
The first aroma is sweet with a hint of acidity, and in the mouth it has a mild sweetness that suggests full fermentation.
This is a sake that will likely warm up 😊.
I wonder if the owner's store I go to sometimes stocks it 🤔.
It was delicious 🍶✨️
The aroma is crisp.
On the palate, the spiciness is felt at first,
The spiciness is first felt on the palate, but it settles down for a moment without asserting itself,
The spiciness follows in the aftertaste.
The spiciness follows in the aftertaste, reminding you of the place you are in.
8.5 points (Wife: 8 points)
Ingredients : Rice, Rice malt
Alcohol Content: 18-19
Sake Degree : Undisclosed
Acidity : Undisclosed
Rice type : Omachi
Rice Polishing Ratio : 66
Store: Senmaru (Sapporo, Minami-ku)
Shupon when the bottle is opened
Slightly gassy
Slight banana and melon-like top notes
The same gentle aroma as the first sip, the rich rice flavor and moderate sweetness spreads with a hint of bitterness and a rather firm acidity, leaving a lingering umami aftertaste that is quickly quenched by the spiciness of the alcohol.
The overall impression is mellow and the spiciness of the alcohol in the latter half is not bothersome, making it easy to pair with meals and also delicious on its own.
It goes well with Tororo rice and grilled prawns.
Hello Masaki Sapporo!
Thank you very much!
I'm not a big fan of the classic types and the Kurogyu was not to my taste 😅.
I've had Reaper, but it's a very unique and interesting sake.
Tamagawa Honjozo Yamahai Unfiltered Nama-shu
It has the sweetness and acidity of the usual Tamagawa unfiltered nama sake, but the final sharpness is even better than usual, even though the mouthfeel is a bit gentle.
Very tasty.
Sake with a strong punch and sharpness. It is not at all harsh despite its high alcohol content. You can taste the sweetness of rice on the way. The aftertaste is refreshing.
