Tamagawa Junmai-shu (Yamahai) Omachi Unfiltered Nama-shu
It was really cold and I really wanted to drink heated sake, so I stopped by the liquor store to take some home.
My wife prefers cold sake, so we went with this one.
I quickly warmed it up to lukewarm.
The acidity is very strong. The umami comes through in a flash and passes through the nose. It has a mild, heavy sweet umami.
The liquor store told me that it would be delicious even if I added water because of its high alcohol content, but I am a poor person and could not add water to the original sake.
I was able to fully enjoy the rich flavor of Omachi. Thank you very much.
