BBQ at my parents' house during GW.
The "Senpuku" that I opened for a story was quickly consumed, so next time I brought my own sake, I opened the sake that I really wanted to drink and had a drink 🍶.
Love it! Junmai Ginjo.
A clean rice aroma, a slight gasiness on the palate, an apple-like sweetness and umami, and a long, refreshing aftertaste.
My father and I also gave it to my mom, who has recently learned to drink a little, and she gave it a very high rating, saying it was "just like an apple"!
This is an option from the Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai that I signed up for this season and they sent me 2 bottles of Hanpukai sake every month along with 1 additional bottle of a commercial product ✨.
It's not a bad idea to buy like this 🥰 since you're less likely to meet new people if you choose to buy it yourself.
The "Love Run" was planned by a student in a seminar at Nagano Prefectural University, who teamed up with Teshimaya, the brewer of "Gowatari" in the hope that it will inspire a generation of people who are increasingly turning away from Japanese sake to drink it.
We hope that this will be the start of someone's new appreciation of sake.
Hi Jive, Hi 😃I'm new to love it, but it's cute and I'm so curious when you say apples, so I told my hubby and he already checked it out and was curious. I'll be looking at your post with envy since I can't get them 😫.
Good morning, Wakata-san!
I was worried about what kind of commercial products I would receive separately from the hanpukai sake, but I was personally satisfied with the contents 🥰.
What a surprise! Looking forward to next season's sales ✨.
Hi Jive, good evening 😃.
The way you say "love it" reminds me of the dialect I used to use when I worked in Gunma 😅 but I see it's a Nagano sake 🤗I'd love to try the refreshing ngo🍎 feeling 😙.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌛.
Ah, so it's a dialect from the Shinshu area😄.
I thought it was a cute name for a college student 🥰.
Overall, it's a light, refreshing ngo🍎, so it was one I would recommend to new users✨.
We went to Shizuoka for two days and one night, and arrived home early without running into traffic on the way back 🚙.
We had one more post in Shizuoka, but this time we reached 556 posts ✨!
[I've been thinking about what to do since Mr. Shirowama asked me to write a commemorative post using CRE 5-56, an anti-corrosion lubricant sold by Kure Kogyo 🤔.
Candidates were "Rusty Cat Rock" or "Sake from Kure, Hiroshima" named after Kure Kogyo.
However, I didn't get "Rusty Cat" at the Nikomaru Sake Boutique the other day, and I just drank "Amego no Tsuki", so I don't have any Kure sake in stock😅.
Wait a minute 💡I remembered that Kure's sake "Senpuku" is distributed locally, so I bought it in a hurry 🤣.
I'm sorry for the long introduction, but here it is this time 🍶.
Senpuku Sen no Fuku Aji no Junmai Ginjo.
A full, fruity, sweet rice aroma, a mellow, mellow mouthfeel, a moist sweet umami, a crisp acidity, and a mellow lingering finish.
BBQ with my sister's family and my nieces and nephews at my parents' house.
We enjoyed grilled sardines, shiitake mushrooms, and beef tongue 😋.
By the way, there seems to be no mutual relationship between Kure Industries and Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture 🤗.
Hi Jive 😃
556, I enjoy your post with a lot of thought behind it 😆 I hope you had fun at your parents' BBQ🍖 and GW is again liking your family service and what a great dad you are ⤴️ ❣️
Hi Jive!
You really have a lot of fun things planned 😁✨✨.
A BBQ with your family and relatives would be great 🎵!
Drinking alcohol in a lively atmosphere is also delicious 😋.
Thanks for the special mission, Jive!
I can feel from the third photo that you have completed your mission impossible.................................................................BBQ and lunchtime drinking sounds great!
Next time, I'll give you the request number for the flying prize...oh, I don't have enough letters, so I'll do it again next time.
Hi Gyve 😃
Thank you for your 556 missions m(_ _)m
It's been a long time since I've seen my local Chifuku!
😂
(Dark Ducks used to sing the commercials)
Good luck on your next mission 😆.
Congratulations on your 556th anniversary check-in, Jive 🎉😆.
I was polishing my pruning shears with CRE5-56 while I was doing so... Proper mission indeed 🤣👍!
Kure Kogyo, founded in Tokyo 😳.
Good morning, HinaHanaMama!
556 Kiri number was a bit of a head-scratcher, but I managed to get it into shape 🤣.
I hope I can use the knowledge I've gained from my research for another time 🥰.
It's best for the kids to have fun, but it's exhausting.
Hi, ma-ki-chan!
Well, I like to force myself to make associations, so it was time for a drunken study 🤣.
The kids were roasting marshmallows and doing whatever they wanted to do 🤗
Hello, Syrotama ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
I got it all safely into the post ✨
I'm sure the drinks tasted great after all the work you've done 🥰.
I'll think of something else to post when I think of something else 🤣.
Hi, 10ZG-STQ!
Oh, by the way, you are from Hiroshima ✨.
I've heard about the episode of the "Senpuku" sake barrel that was used as a donation box when rebuilding the Hiroshima stadium after the war, so this time the piece hooked me 🥰.
Hello, Pon-chan!
At first it was difficult to come up with an idea from [CRE5-56], and the fact that you went through "Rusty Cat Rock" just before you started your story was also a factor that made it tougher 😅.
I was already thinking of [Wu] as a single point 🥰.
[Hamamatsu Drinking
[After leaving Hamamatsu, we went to our second restaurant, Hamamatsu Tanto, which we had already guessed at.
We went to Hamamatsu Gyoza and Akaboshi, which we wanted to try, and had a gyoza-bee (gyoza-bee) and an akaboshi (aka-boshi), then switched to hot food.
Hana-no-Mai Honjozo, hot sake from ♨️
Aroma of rice with a hint of alky sake, a firm flavor and mild lingering aftertaste, and finally a nose-bleeding aroma that is typical of alky sake!
It was a perfect match with the "Enshu-nada no Ao-sa wo toppings" (tofu topped with Enshu-nada no Ao-sa) that was served as an appetizer.
For the rice, we served Ina Udon (cold udon noodles). If you eat it without dropping the egg, the bonito broth will expand its flavor, and if you break the egg, the nourishing flavor will spread.
Good morning, Jive ☀☀ red star and hamamatsu gyoza...oh my god it's the best 😂‼️ I love the fact that you can take a break from chopsticks with the accompanying bean sprouts 👍
Good morning, Mr. Jive!
Hamamatsu gyoza and akaboshi is good for gyoza bee 🎵.
I also had Hamamatsu gyoza and beer when I was in Hamamatsu 😋.
I've never had Hana-no-Mai so I'd like to try it there next time I'm in Shizuoka 😊.
Hi Gyve 😃.
I see you are enjoying your Hamamatsu drinking 😁I enjoy traveling sake as I get to drink brands I don't normally drink and have new discoveries 🤩.
I myself went to Fujieda & Numazu in Shizuoka yesterday 🤗.
Hi Jive, good evening 😃I couldn't comment in time for the 551 celebration, so let me say at 555 ✨Congratulations 👏 and enjoy the sake life from this 💕Hot sake from Gyoza Bee 😋👍You enjoyed the Hamamatsu gourmet ❗
Hello, Manachie!
I had always wanted to try Hamamatsu Gyoza when I came to Hamamatsu, so my wish came true 🥰.
The only thing that I have to disclose is that they didn't have any Shizuoka Barley Wine 🍺.
Hi ma-ki-, hello here too ☀.
I see that Gyoza-bee is the last one 🥰.
I would like to visit Utsunomiya next 🤩.
I would have loved to try Hana-no-Mai since it is a local sake with a brewery in Hamamatsu ✨.
Hello, Hiro!
What a surprise! Actually, my sister-in-law and her family live in Fujieda, so I have a deep connection with the area 🤩.
I think the best part of personal travel is to find and drink sake that is rarely distributed, dango over flower ☺.
Hello pyonpyon!
At first I was thinking of "Hakugakusen" and "Gobashi" which I hadn't opened for the 555th anniversary, but since I was about to reach them during my sake activities, I decided to do it another time 😅.
[Hamamatsu is a hot town with the spirit of "Yaramaika"!
Good morning, Jive-san. I see you are enjoying your trip to Shizuoka and travel sake following your Osaka day trip 😁.
Congratulations on your 551 anniversary ㊗️
551 is available in Kobe, I don't know how many years it will be, but I'll definitely give it a try 😀.
Hi Maaan, Hello ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
This was mostly a story post, but I managed to get it into shape 🤣.
I also bought some chilled pork buns and yakisuri, so I'll use them again for a side dish somewhere else ✨.
I hope you'll give it a try too!
[Hamamatsu Drinking
We found a rare brand that is hard to drink in our hometown and ordered it along with our Drink Crust Order ✨.
Sansudo 2024 Kago Gonouzou".
The aroma of rice with a strong alcohol content, the gas feeling on the tip of the tongue, the deep juicy flavor, and the minerality that shifts to sweetness and finishes with a pleasant aftertaste and a unique aroma that leaves a lasting impression on the nose and palate.
It has been a long time since I have tasted "Sansho", it tastes like a trip, how delicious!
Now, we are here just in time for the Hamamatsu Festival, so we are going to stroll around downtown a bit more 🚶.
Good morning, Mr. Gyve. This sake is waiting in the refrigerator. It was available at a sake brewery opening and is rare even in Kyushu! The flavor sounds delicious and I'm looking forward to it 🍶.
Hi Gula!
I envy you that you already had it in stock 🥰.
It's been quite a while since I was able to drink a rare bottle of "Sansho", so I have some drunken memories ✨.
Please open it and taste it 🍶.
[Hamamatsu Drinking
[The second drink I chose at Hamamatsu Hamamatsu was a pint of this drink, which I had not drunk before and was attracted by the specs I was curious about.
Shuji: Junmai Ginjyo "light nigori" Nama
The aroma of rice with a soft acidity, the mouthfeel is clean, the taste is gentle, the acidity is soft, and the finish is gently sharp, with a sweetness similar to that of ramune.
[The gap between the rough words "nama yeast" and "light nigori", which I personally feel, and the calm and gentle taste is delicious 🥰.
The fourth one is "Sawayaka's hamburger steak", which I really wanted to try when I came to Shizuoka.
Hi Pon, good evening 🌛.
[I couldn't get a reservation so I got a numbered ticket and finally got in 45 minutes later than the expected time 😅.
But the taste was worth the wait 🥰.
Usually I'm always working, but this year I took a day off to visit my wife's sister-in-law in Shizuoka Prefecture with my children.
We entered Hamanako Pal Pal a little after 10:00 a.m., played with the kids and nephews for a while, and had a hamburger steak for dinner at Sawayaka, where we went to pick up our numbers.
After getting back to the hotel and finishing my driver duties for the day, it was time to go out for a drink 🚶.
It was my first time to drink in Hamamatsu, and I entered a restaurant I liked from a post by Makojii just before the last order 😅.
First, I quenched my thirst with "Akahoshi" and then looked through the sake menu...oh my god, they have all kinds of drunken sake 🥰!
Let's start with this one!
Shinshu Kamerei Junmai Ginjo Hitogokochi
Fruity sweet rice aroma like melon, a slight gas feeling as the mouthpiece is sealed, juicy flavor from a firm sweetness to a mellow lingering taste, and a slight bitterness lingering on the tongue at the end.
It's delicious, and I'm actually drunk just to compare how it differs from the "Tazawa Hitogokochi" that I have in stock!
Of course it goes well with horse sashimi, but it's surprisingly interesting how the sweetness spreads with the smell when paired with whale 🤩.
Good evening, Jive-san!
So your trip to Shizuoka has started 🎵!
After playing with the kids, the sake from Akahoshi must be sinking in 😋!
And the visit to Sake-no-Wa's restaurant is also very well done 😲.
The turtle looks delicious after all😊.
Good morning, Gyve. ☀️
Thanks for driving. You are enjoying it to the fullest👍.
Great that your wife has the nostalgia to allow you to travel separately 😁.
The local pubs are so much fun 🤩.
Hi Gyve 😃
Nice trip to Shizuoka! Nice 🤗Doing the hard work of driving🚙, serving your children and refreshingly taking seats 😅As Maru-san said, thank you to your wife 😌 for the outside drinking izakaya 🏮 tour! Enjoy 👋
Hello Maru-san!
It took us about 4 hours to get to Hamanako Pal Pal due to breaks and traffic jams, but I'm glad we made it without any accidents✨.
Thanks to my wife who allows me to go out for a drink because she knows I like to drink outside and my in-laws who help me 🙇.
Hi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀.
[I should have understood the [Sawayaka] system a little better before I went there, that's the biggest thing this time 😅.
The pleasure of entering a liquor store in a place you are starting out is exceptional✨.
One-day Osaka Trip Extravaganza🚃.
This is the 551st post in the series 🎉!
I had been preparing to make a commemorative post in Osaka to celebrate this milestone, but my drinking activity has been progressing unexpectedly, so I'm going to use a more aggressive method this time 🤣.
I'm ready to go, so I'll have a drink at the Thunderbird Izakaya on the way home 🍶.
Katano Sakura Junmai Namaishu.
Beautiful clean rice aroma, beautiful rice flavor and a slight sweetness on the palate, followed by a light sweet aftertaste.
The dish was, of course, "551 Hourai's Sweet & Snack Pork Lunchbox" 🍴.
I made my 551st post with 551 Hourai and Osaka sake 🤣!
It was an agonizing process to get to this point, and in the end, I played dirty in the last update by posting "射美ピンク" and "花陽浴プレミアム" together, which I regret 🙇.
However, it became difficult to coordinate the next [555] post I had in mind, so I'm going to go with the shifting of the two 🤗.
Congratulations on 551 check-ins, Mr. Jive 🎉🎊
Aruki to nai toki ♫ is known outside of Kansai 😳
551I've actually never eaten anything other than the meat buns 😅.
Good evening, Gyve 😃.
Congratulations on your 551 check in 🎉.
I like 551's pork buns because they are delicious, but they also have lunch boxes, etc. ‼️ They make those pork buns, so they must be delicious 🤤.
Hi Jive!
Congratulations on your 551 check-in 🎉.
I see you enjoyed your trip to Osaka 🎵.
Interesting to have a milestone drink at Hourai 😁.
551 also likes shrimp yakisoba a lot 😋.
Hi Jive ^_^
Congratulations on 551 check-ins 🎉!
551 check-in and 551 Hourai👍!
The pork buns and other delicacies were delicious, but the sweet-and-sour pork also looks good ☺️
Hello, Matsuchiyo-san ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Thank you for your comment 🙇.
I was going to use "Imuraya's steamed meat buns" if I didn't have any, so I'm glad to hear that you got it all right 🥰.
I tried typing in "express" and it came up, so I typed it in ✨.
Hello bouken ☀☀☀.
Thank you so much for yesterday 🙇.
When I returned to Umeda, I noticed that there was a [551] in the basement and was able to buy both for eating on the train and chilled as a souvenir ✨I had a drink at Izakaya Express 🥰.
Hello, Noodle Wine King ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Thank you for your comment 🙇.
I too had an image of [chilled products] as souvenirs, but there is a regular delicatessen in the basement of the department store, and I was able to enjoy hot bento made to order 🥰.
Hi ma-ki-, ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Thank you for your comment 🙇.
It was a fun day trip to drink the sake and pre-sake I wanted 🥰.
[I had one of them in my lunch box and it went really well with sake 😋.
Thank you for your comment 🙇.
[I chose this dish because I thought the smell would not be too strong, but it had a hint of black vinegar 🤣.
I thought the smell would not be too strong, but it had a nice black vinegar aroma 🤣.
Gyve, congratulations on your 551 check-in ㊗️🎉Gyve beat me to the 551 check-in 😭But I'm so glad you made the Osaka sake Katano Sakura 😆Please come back to Osaka again 😊.
Hi Gyve!
Nice to hear that you are 551 check-in with a 551 Hourai as your entree.
Next, let's go to 556 check-in. Of course, I'd like to use Kure CRC-556!
Hi Hirupeco!
Thank you for your comment 🙇.
I managed to get to the commemorative post by twisting my head 🥰.
I really wanted to make it "Hundred Heavenly Mantens", but I couldn't get the stones 😅.
Hello, Syrotama ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Thanks for your comment 🙇.
I'll think of something since I drank & didn't get any alcohol that could be used for a 556 post 🤔 Wu 556 direct drinking 🆖.
Jive, congratulations on your 551 collaboration check-in 😆👍🎉!
I like this one and I'm surprised you could remember it 😊👍I didn't think you came to Osaka for this?
One-day trip to Osaka ④🚃.
So far, I ordered the same thing as [bouken], but from here on, we ordered different things 🎵.
I ordered "Kahayo Yoku Premium", and bouken-san ordered "射美 Pink", and what came out was "射美 特純 15号"!
I ordered "Hahoriyokyu THE PREMIUM Hachitan-Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo, Polishing 40%, Unfiltered Nama-shu".
I had drunk it in the past, and this time, I reviewed the "Imi Pink" which I was given in exchange for a little bit of the "Imi Pink".
ikumi tokun jun 15
Distinctive but indescribable aroma, clean sweetness on the palate.
The taste is much easier to recognize than the black one.
The "Huahiangyoku" has a sweet pineapple flavor that does not betray its Huahiangyoku-like character.
6300 yen for the two of us after drinking so much premium sake and ordering food.
That's too cheap!
After this, we went back to Namba station to say goodbye to bouken-san and went back to Umeda for shopping.
Hello, Mr. Noodle Sake King ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Thank you so much bouken for taking us to the liquor store we wanted to visit ✨
We were able to choose from 7 different types of "Shinmasa" alone 🥰They are also opening "Jyushidai" and "Shinshu Kamerei" during the GW!
One-day trip to Osaka (3)
While I was contemplating my next order, a regular customer ordered a Viridian, and the waiter asked if he could have one too. and I was served it.
Shinsei Viridian, a humanitarian aid sake for the Myanmar Earthquake of 2025.
A bottle of "Viridian" brewed with 2022 sake rice and aged for 2 years in the brewery.
The aroma alone is intoxicating, with a fruity, mellow rice aroma, a strong gassy mouthfeel, a strong sweet acidity, a clean finish, and a pleasant aftertaste.
It goes well with the aroma of cheddar cheese.
This is a precious sake that I could drink.
Hi Pon, ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Actually, they were planning to serve this sake if the menu says "Viridian" and "Viridian" or something like that 🥰.
They are also going to open several "Jyushidai" and "Shinshu Kamerei" during the holidays 💡.
One-day trip to Osaka (2)
I met up with bouken-san, who had asked me to exchange sake at Namba's EDION, and we went to the sake corner, and then to Nikomaru Shuhan in Kouhama.
To my surprise, I was able to get a bottle of "Sentoku" that I had been looking for, which had just arrived.
I was also able to buy a bottle of Oita's "Hanashimi" 🎵.
From there, I went back to Tennoji and had a drink at Tesho Sake 🍶.
They had a lot of premium sake on tap during the GW period, and I was wondering which one to order, so I started with this one!
Imi BLACK"!
There was also a WHITE sake, but I chose this one because I have had it in the past!
It has no characteristic aroma, a complex taste that can be taken as umami, sweetness, or sourness, and a bitter taste that lingers on the tongue after it finishes.
Hmmm, it's hard to evaluate 🤔.
Hey Gyve, hi 😃.
You came from Fukui to Osaka and got Kyushu Sake👍Great 👏You were aiming for it?
It will be fun to join you and bouken for the premier sake festival😍🤗.
Hi Jay & Nobby, hello here too ☀.
All 4 of the bottles, including the one we exchanged with bouken this time, were all firsts for us ✨.
It's great to be able to get sake from a difficult province that will be wallowing in the second week of the nationals, and also to drink pre-sake 🥰.
I had booked a JR ticket to Osaka after the end of the fiscal year, and although it looks like GW will be busy, I decided to take the opportunity to go out to Osaka 🚃.
Real-time sake activity update again 🆙.
The restaurant I had planned to have lunch at didn't seem to recommend lunchtime drinking, so I had a quick lunch of "Chashu Eggs" and beer, and then went to "Osaka Takashimaya" (🚶).
We started off with a cup of doburoku brewed by Heiwa Shuzo, the brewer of the recently created "Kido".
Heiwa Doburoku Plain.
Aroma of mellow rice with a hint of koji (malted rice), a slight gaseous taste, creamy yogurt-like sweetness and a refreshing aftertaste, and finally the texture of the rice grains that linger in the mouth.
Yes, I think I like it a lot.
Hi Jive 🐦.
It's awesome that you got it up so quickly 😆👍 peace doburoku, but I was curious about the chashu egg 😳 I've never seen it before, is it a specialty or a famous one? Is it famous? I've never seen it before, but I was wondering if it is a specialty or famous? Looks delicious with beer...
Hi Gyve 😃
Here's the LIVE post ‼️ It's great to see a live drinking activity that really travels and raises the bar while drinking 👍Chashu eggs are pretty hearty 😳
Hello again, Pon-chan!
[The origin of "chashu egg" seems to be "roasted pork and egg rice", which is a specialty of Ehime-Imabari, and it seems to have been rearranged from there to become quite popular recently.
In Osaka, Sonoda is famous ✨.
Hi Papagon!
[I've been thinking about having a second cup of the matcha doburoku, but the waiter came, so I decided to just have the plain one 🥰.
It's pretty convenient that you can buy "Kido" together ✨.
Hi Jay & Nobby!
[I hadn't researched Heiwa Shuzo Doburoku Brewery, so I was lucky to find it ✨.
[The chashu egg set meal at Sonoda is only 990 yen, so it's very wallet-friendly: 💰️
Hi Jive, ☀️
Peace Doburoku Brewery has a store in Tokyo and I've been wondering about it 😳It's creamy, ricey and gassy...sounds delicious just reading about it 🤤 I'm more and more excited to visit 🥳.
Hi Gyve, good evening. I went a day before you too Mr. Jaive 😊 Plain and white yeast rice? I believe I had plain and white koji? It was so easy to drink and delicious. Even though I was tired, it's easy to get sucked in because it's at the entrance of Takashimaya 😅.
Hi, Hirupeco!
Oh! I didn't know that 😲.
At first I didn't notice the [Osaka Takashimaya] annex and was going around in circles looking for the sake section 🤣.
April 28th is the new moon of April🌑 and the night of the first cycle reset.
Even if there is no moon in the night sky, as long as there is a moon on the label, you can have all the moon-viewing sake you want, so open a bottle of moonshine tonight and enjoy 🌑🍶🌑🍶.
Kihotsuru Moonlit Kihotsuru Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama
I fell in love with the label at first sight and got it at Liquor Shop Okayama in Kyoto, just like the Kangiku Jukinmu I opened the other day ✨.
[Gugumi-nomi.]
Fruity and sweet rice aroma, juicy and juicy sweet umami, then a full lingering taste, then a sharp pineapple-like acidity, and finally a bitter taste in the throat and a minerality that lingers on the palate.
[Mokkiri.]
A clear, fruity rice aroma, a slight gassy feeling on the palate, followed by a fresh umami sweetness, a pineapple-like acidity, a sharp finish, and finally, a bitter taste in the throat and a mineral taste that is quite firm.
The selection of entrée was a difficult one, as the "kamikurage" written on the label announces the arrival of spring when the sea water temperature rises.
Sea bream, also called "sakura-tai" (cherry sea bream), which comes in early spring, has a strong flavor and went well with the dish!
The 4th one is the new product "Ichiban Shibori WHITE".
Since it was labeled as a white beer, I thought it would be like a [Weissbier] using more than 50% wheat malt, but the main ingredient is barley malt 😅.
Not bad with a refreshing bitter taste 🍺.
Hello, Mr. Jaive!
When it comes to tsukimi sake, it's Mr. Jaive 😁✨.
The label is good ⤴️
Ki Mine Tsuru's sake looks delicious 😋.
I want to drink it 🎵
I used to be into beer and loved Vedettes for white 🍺.
Hi Jive 😃.
A firm new moon as well 🌑 moonshine! Lovely 💓.
If you fell in love with the label at first sight 🤩, your expectations are even higher 👌.
Sweet and tasty, gassy and acidic 😍delicious 😋Echizen sea bream also looks delicious ❣️
Hello, Gyve!
I'm so glad that you chose sea bream as your entrée, because it is the spring connection from the kamikurage!
I think it would lose out if the sashimi is light, but if it has a strong flavor, it would be a good match 😍.
Good morning, Jive 😃.
I saw a lot of stars 🌟 in the open-air bath on the roof of the place where we stayed last night 🥹It was a new moon 🌑... 🌕 on the table is OK, it's good to expand the range👍White beer 🍺 we also thought it was delicious 😋.
Hello ma-ki-.
[Vedett Extra White is delicious 🍺.
I was lucky enough to have 3 kinds of "Kibotsu Tsuru" this year and each one has its own character and is very delicious 🥰[Osaka Takashimaya] is the exclusive distributor.
Hi HinaHanaMama!
Actually, the last time I drank "Moon after rain" is also a tsukimi sake, but I forgot to mention it in my review 🤣.
The jellyfish label is so cute ✨.
The local snapper was fresh and went very well with the sake 🥰.
Hi Maru-san!
I was originally going to pair it with kikurage no tsukudani, but I forgot to order it in time, so I had to go to the fish store and make a quick trip to the right place 🤣.
I had a hard time deciding which one to go with because there was also a drunken horse mackerel on the menu that day✨.
Hello Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀!
I see you went to a hot spring ryokan ♨️ and the starry sky from the outdoor bath is also intoxicating 🌠.
[As a Sapporo Beer lover, I'd like to recommend Sorachi 1984, but I'd have to go with Ichiban Shibori for versatility ✨.
Hi Gyve 🐦🐦.
You drank it 😆👍👍Yes, the bitterness at the end is very spring-like 😊It's a great thing that Mr. Gyve is able to match the spring-like snacks 👍✨.
Hi Pon, ☀☀☀☀☀☀.
The aftertaste reminded me of the fresh bitter taste of spring wild vegetables 🥰.
Sometimes when I go out to buy entrées, I look up what the seasonal greens are on the internet while I buy them and reason it out afterwards though 🤣.
The world has entered the GW season 📣.
I'm not really related to GW or the Gundam Wing. I'm going to Shizuoka with my in-laws in the second half of the year, so I'll be working hard during the first half of the year ✨.
Well, I'm going to open a bottle of sake and drink it all 🍶.
Zenkichi Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai 2025 Gold Course
This is the first time I signed up for the hanpukai this season 🤩.
The Gold Course consists of two four-packs of sake delivered every month, each time with the description "fire-aged sake".
[The sake is mellow and apple-like.]
The aroma is mellow and apple-sweet, the mouthfeel is soft, mellow and juicy, the sweetness extends to the palate, and then it finishes with a pleasantly sweet aftertaste that leaves the sweetness on the tongue, and finally changes to a soft minerality that lingers on the tongue and a slight bitterness in the throat.
[Mokkiri]
Aroma of mellow, sweet and fruity rice, a clean and soft umami, and a sweet taste similar to apple, followed by a sweet aftertaste and a mineral sensation on the tip of the tongue.
While it shares the same soft umami, sweetness, and firm flavor, the fine nuances of this sake can change dramatically depending on the sake container, making it a very enjoyable sake.
I was in the mood for meat, so I took out some Akiyoshi Yakitori (grilled chicken) ✨.
The fourth picture is a once-a-week pleasure!
[Lunch at Kyo-ya, a handmade stone-ground buckwheat noodle restaurant 🍴.
Soba noodles with grated radish are a must in Fukui!
Here, you can order either grated radish mixed with soup stock [mizore] or squeezed spicy daikon [shibori], whichever you prefer!
Good evening, Jive-san 😄GW is the world's GW!
I'm looking forward to your review 😍The Shinshu secret sake hanpukai is a very promising name for a hanpukai.
The soba noodles in Fukui look delicious too❗️ they are quite thick😳
Good evening, Mr. Jive.
GW has started 🎵.
I'm looking forward to your trip to Shizuoka in the second half of the year: ⤴️
Will you be doing some sake activities there 😁✨?
Is it a hanpukai - Nagano sake has a fruity image, this one looks delicious too 😋!
Good morning, Mr. Gyve ☀☀☀☀☀.
Thanks for your work during GW. Can't wait to see what's coming in the Shinshu hanpukai 😊.
Both the soba noodles and the fried bamboo ring on the side sound like they would go well with sake!
Good morning, Gyve 😃.
GW is here ❗The world is seeing a fun future with the zero system in effect, but I see a future of work too 😅I haven't been able to drink Zenkichi in a long time, so I'm jealous 😆.
Hi HinaHanaMama!
We're all part of the GW busy group 🤗
This hanpukai is made exclusively for the hanpukai, so it's not for sale to the general public ✨.
You won't know what's in it until you receive it every month between April and November🤣.
Hi ma-ki-san!
[I've been trying to choose a restaurant in Shizuoka by following your posts, but it's hard to find one that's open late because I have to go there after putting my kids to bed 😅.
Zenkichi was a pretty good one the first time 🥰.
Hi Maru ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
I'm excited because I can't see what's inside until it arrives 🥰.
Kyoya is also recommended for soba drinking, but it's too far from the station 😅.
I'll have to try it this year 😙.
Hello, Noodle Drink King ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
I see, the world is holding up as GW because of the Zero System and the visibility of the holidays 💡.
A world line where every household has a Wing Zero that is said to have the power to destroy the solar system.
That's bad, isn't it?
Good evening, Jive 🦉.
Distributorship! It's so exciting when a label you've never seen comes along 😆 Get through the first half of the year with alcohol💦.
Oroshi soba is delicious ❣️ I started hearing about it at the restaurant after eating it spicy to death 😂.
Hi, Pon-chan!
I'm looking forward to seeing what you get every month ✨.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you get every month ✨The grated buckwheat noodles in Fukui are sometimes very spicy, so you have to check the spiciness of the noodles 🤣.
I spent a relaxing weekend with my family for the first time in a while, and since I had Monday off, I went to the gym as usual to digest the menu. In the evening, my wife and I celebrated our two-month delayed wedding anniversary by going to 🐰 at her request again.
This time, I asked my wife to choose the dishes she wanted to eat and let her taste the owner's cooking to her heart's content 🤩.
I also brought a special sake to go with her exquisite dishes to celebrate our anniversary 🐰.
Katsuma Junmai-shu Shiboritate Nama!
The aroma of mellow sweet rice with a hint of creaminess, the mouthfeel is smooth and mellow, the flavor is sweet, and the taste fades out quickly, leaving a pleasant aftertaste and a lingering sweetness on the tongue.
The taste is so clear and beautiful that it is hard to believe it is junmai sake ✨The flavor is not lost as you continue to drink it, it is simply delicious 😋.
I heard this one was in stock at the Echizen Sake Shop HAYASHI SAKE STORE at the end of February and went to buy it a few days late, but I didn't expect to find it hidden in the back of a cupboard and got it right after it was put on display 🤣.
First time drinking at home? Katsucoma" 🎉!
The entrée was homemade by the proprietress.
Three appetizers
Kombujime sea bream
Tempura of mozuku seaweed
Whale sashimi
Rice cooked with firefly squid
Hi Gyve!
Happy 2 months late wedding anniversary 🎊
I am so jealous of your nice restaurant 😆.
I felt the season with shiso leaves and myoga as condiments for the kombushime of sea bream 😊.
I hope you continue to be a good friend and happy ‼️☺️
Gyve, congratulations again on your wedding anniversary 🎉💍.
You've been really busy 💦 glad you had time to relax 😊.
Cheers to a good sake! Is the black one mozuku tempura? I'm curious 😁.
Hi, Jive!
Congratulations again on your wedding anniversary 🎉.
It was a great anniversary time at Katsuma with your wife eating what she wanted to eat 😋.
The food looks delicious too 🤤.
Hi Jive, good evening 😃.
Once you settle down, the timing is good for an anniversary celebration dinner ㊗️ 🤗Katsukoma for this beautiful and delicious looking dish😍This is good 😙I thought it was a thick horse sashimi at a quick glance, but is it whale 🐋! I'd like to try it 😋.
Hello 10ZG-STQ ☀☀☀.
Thank you for your comment 🙇.
I appreciate that the proprietress gives me more condiments in her cooking!
The soy sauce is actually Okinawan [soy sauce with chili pepper], so the flavor of the kelp and the spiciness of the chili pepper is addictive!
Hi Pon, ☀☀☀☀☀.
Thanks for your comment 🙇.
It's finally time to relax 😅
The black one is [mozuku tempura] ✨
It's actually 3 pieces per person, but my wife ate one as fast as she could 🤣.
Hi ma-ki-, ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Thank you for your comment 🙇.
I've known the proprietress for over 10 years now, and she always adds her own twist to seasonal ingredients.
I had to choose "Katsuma" to go with this ✨.
Hi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀.
Thanks for your comment 🙇.
I've been coming here for over 10 years and this was my first time to eat whale✨.
I've been going to Kikki in Onomichi for over 10 years and this was my first time to try whale ✨.
Last Saturday, I had a long weekend off, but spent the morning doing service work at my oldest daughter's preschool and attending a parent-teacher conference🧹.
It was quite an interesting experience to have a roundtable discussion with other fathers in a delicate distance from me, who usually pick up and drop off but cannot participate in events, and other fathers who participate in events but do not see each other for pick up and drop off 🤣.
In the afternoon, I took my two daughters to the indoor playground and library, and as we walked through the park connecting the two facilities, I bumped into a friend I hadn't seen in a while with her two daughters ✨.
We laughed at how much of a father I've become 🤗.
Well, we had a drink at this place, which I haven't had for a while since I was inducted into the Hall of Fame 🍶.
Amego no Tsuki Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki Unfiltered Nama-shu
[Gugume cup.]
Fruity rice aroma slightly reminiscent of a melon, a slight gasiness at the mouth, a clear yet juicy and beautiful umami sweetness, a sharp and pleasantly sweet aftertaste, and finally a sweet taste on the tongue and a bitter taste in the throat.
[Mokkiri.]
Transparent and sweet rice aroma, mouthfeel, drinking, from a slight gassy feeling to juicy and beautifully umami sweetness, followed by a pleasantly sweet aftertaste, and finally a sweet taste on the tongue and a light bitterness in the throat.
The last one has a light bitterness in the throat along with a sweet taste in the mouth.
The entrée is a sashimi that I got at half price 😋.
The fourth one is [Keema Curry with grilled seaweed, shiso leaves and wasabi] by [Dandada], a spice-filled dish that I eat on my liver rest days 🍛.
Fried eggs are an additional topping 🍳.
Hi Gyve, good evening.
I hope you had a good weekend with your children: ⤴️
It's really nice to meet up with friends from school when you're an adult🍀.
The moon after the rain is beautiful and really easy to drink and delicious 😋.
Good evening, Mr. Jive😄.
You are a good dad! Thank you for your hard work serving the school and attending the parents' meeting ☺️ You are also a great family man 👏Month after the rain and the sashimi looks so good that I can't believe you got half price 👍Curry🍛 is also wonderful 😍.
Gyve, thanks for your daddy's help 🤣‼️ curry is good for your liver⁉️ didn't know that😆An authentic curry would have a lot of fat, but this one doesn't seem to have that....
Hi ma-ki-chan!
My children are growing up remarkably, and I was surprised that my second daughter can walk longer distance than my eldest daughter, probably due to the difference of the preschool's policy😅.
I got this "moon after rain" at Isetan Kyoto the other day 🥰.
Hi HinaHanaMama!
I was so excited to find that the thickly sliced sashimi including O-toro and Chutoro (medium fatty tuna) was priced from 3000 yen to 1500 yen.
[I love your curry, it's full of spices and onions, so it's easy to eat!
Hi Manachie!
In a way, it's a great daddy's activity since you're spreading the funds around ✨.
I believe I'm helping my liver because the spices contain a lot of turmeric, which is good for the liver 🥰.
Hi Jive 🐦.
I was imagining a roundtable discussion with a subtle distance 🤣 really good job 😊that's the time for a Hall of Fame drink 😉.
I also eat udon with more curry on event days etc 😁.
I came home late from work, so I went to Poziya for a quick drink (3).
For the fifth and last drink, I found this one that I had wanted to drink for a long time 🥰.
Tsururei Tokubetsu Junmai Koshi-tanrei.
The aroma is almost neutral, a little like cemedine, a bit of bitterness in the throat, a gentle and mellow umami, and then it finishes with a mellow, deep and pleasant aftertaste, and finally a bitterness in the throat.
It has a light and refreshing image, so it goes well with oily menma.
I've had "Yukio" before, but this one is delicious too, I think they both have the same gentle umami image 🤔.
After 5 glasses, I was offered a 6th glass to try 🤣.
Ippongi Arabashiri.
Clear rice aroma, mellow umami and dry sharpness, and a pleasant aftertaste at the end.
Of course, we finished with ramen.
This time, I ordered the basic ramen, "Chuka-soba". The white color of the chicken noodle soup is a little conspicuous, but the flavor is beautifully seasoned with soy sauce.
Thank you again ✨
Good evening, Mr. Gyve 😃.
I like the idea of a dry 🍶 and then ramen 🍜 🤗I was wondering about the one that has a very rough and tumble feel on the label 😙.
Hi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀.
This time we shifted from relatively sweet to spicy, so the Chinese noodles at the end of the meal tasted even better 🥰.
Fukui's dry taste is said to be "Ippongi", which may be perfect for you and your spicy lovers J & N 🤔.
I came home late from work, so I went to "Pojiya" for a drink.
The second and third "Hagi no Tsuru Kotatsu Neko" and "Machida Shuzo Nigori" were the same as the last time, so I omitted the review.
The fourth cup was this sake.
Shikishima Yamadanishiki Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu with No. 8 Yeast.
The aroma is heavy with rice and a little citrus, the mouthfeel is heavy with umami and acidity, then there is a lingering aroma and a lingering aftertaste that is similar to that of cypress, like a barrel sake, with a slight sweetness at the end.
The last part is slightly sweet.
When I drank it at an off-line meeting before, the unique aroma was evaluated to be like cardboard, but I heard later that this aroma was a problem with the equipment, but I still can't get rid of the [cardboard] feeling due to my preconceived notions 😅.
The entrée was Poziya's regular ginkgo nuts and menma (pickled bamboo shoots) because I wanted something a little oily 🍴.
Hi Jive 🐦.
I see you drank Shikishima! I was curious because I didn't drink it at the offline meeting 😅I'm just hesitant because I thought that a bottle of four-pack might be too much 💦 and I knew it 😳.
Hello, Pon-chan!
I haven't tried "Shikishima" since the offline meeting, but I still can't get rid of the image of cardboard 😅.
[I'm sure you'll be able to find it at [Shikishima Sake Shop], so please give it a try 🤣.
I haven't had a weekend off in a very long time, since February 2024 when I checked 🤣how busy I've been 😅.
I usually don't get to play with my kids much, so I went to the park, library, shopping, and watched Doraemon the Movie in the movie theater for the first time today 🎥.
I'll try to digest it little by little ✨.
Friday night, after work, I had a meeting with a colleague to discuss the biggest focus of the year, the renewal of facilities, and it was already 10:30pm😲.
Since most of the restaurants were closing, we stopped by our usual drinking ramen shop, Pojiya, and ordered a 5-sake drink comparison.
First of all, let's start with the first sake!
Tenmei bange yamada origarami ichibi kurazakura
Tenmei" after a long time!
Slightly fruity rice aroma, soft and fluffy sweetness and umami, and a lingering, full finish with minerality that lingers on the tongue.
It goes well with salty food.
The meaning of the name "Kurazakura" is inspired by the cherry tree planted by the brewer's grandmother when the brewer was born.
The fourth picture is the beer and homemade yaki-sai that we ordered before the "5 types of sake comparison" 🍺.
Hi Jive, good evening.
It's been a really tough year for you, no weekends for over a year 💧.
I'm sure your children must have been very happy 🎵.
By the way, this ramen store is a great place to drink sake 😊.
Hi Gyve 😃
I haven't had a weekend off in over a year 😳that was seriously tough 😓 sorry...I may not have had a Saturday off in over a year 😅It's nice of you to spend such an occasional day off with your kids 🥹.
Hi ma-ki-!
I was surprised myself because it had been more than a year since I was on shift, although I had taken one refreshment break in between 😲.
[Poziya is stocked at the Shima Sake Shop in Enmachi, Kyoto.
Hi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀.
I was so impatient that I couldn't find any weekends and holidays at all when I slid my calendar app 😅.
I think they only come by now when the kids are little, so I'll enjoy raising them while I can 🥰.
Mr. Jaive.
Hello...
Sounds like you are busy 😱.
I'm still raising my kids too, but I try to spend my days off with them as much as possible, but it's not easy 💦I'm often told that raising kids goes by so fast😅.
The cherry blossoms, which just barely lasted until Saturday, are now in the process of falling 🌸🍃, and the leafy cherry blossoms are now completely noticeable.
I would have liked to enjoy cherry blossom viewing a little more, but I'm looking forward to next year's event 🍶.
Motobun Junmai Ginjo Hana Yeast Abelia
[Gugumi-nomi.]
Floral rice aroma reminiscent of flower honey.
[Mokkiri]
Floral rice aroma, a little weighty and sweet flavor, and a refreshing aftertaste with a bitter aftertaste.
Both have an image of sweetness that lingers in the mouth with a lingering aftertaste.
Compared to "Rairaku" which has the same Abelia yeast, "Rairaku" has a floral sweetness and "Motobun" has a floral sweetness, both have a characteristic sweetness like honey from flowers 🤔.
I heard that heated sake is also good, so I heated it up to about warm and it tasted plump and sweet without losing its gorgeousness 😋.
It was rated very high in this year's warming ranking along with "Kitanokatsu" ✨.
Incidentally, the brewer of this sake has roots in the town where I live, and when I mentioned this at the sake competition, he gave it to me as a souvenir when he came to the prefecture this New Year's to look for his roots.
The fourth one is an unseasonal rice cake pounding last Saturday morning.
I made the rice cakes that I didn't make at the end of last year because I was too busy 🥰.
Here is a rice cake with a lot of [salted kelp], [yukari], and [sesame paste] 😋.
Good morning, Jive!
I'm intrigued by your review of a sake from a brewery I haven't seen much of and it sounds very tasty ✨.
Mochitsuki is also good ⤴️
Reminds me of the ones we used to make at home when I was a kid 😋.
Sake rim is wonderful 😊
Hi Jive 🐦.
I enjoyed the abelia from Rairaku and I'm interested in this one too 😊 I also like all the flower yeast so far 🤭.
Thanks for the gift of your relationship, Gyve, and for your personality👍✨.
Hi ma-ki-, ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Your previous post wasn't registered in [Sake-no-wa] either 🤔.
I've had a few sakes with flower yeast and they are all unique and interesting 🥰.
Hi Gyve 😃.
The 🌸 is starting to fall here in Nikko area too 😌.
I think I only see Motofumi in Jai's posts 😅I'm curious about your top ranking for heating up 🤗.
Hi Pon, ☀☀☀☀☀.
You'd be surprised how a casual chance can really lead to a connection 😲.
It's less sweet than "Rairaku", but it has a beautiful flavor that makes a statement, so this is delicious 🥰.
Hi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀.
Someiyoshino is already out of season😅.
I think you can still enjoy the weeping cherry blossoms though 🥰.
It seems to be a bit rare after all, it's a sake from [Gujo Hachiman], famous for its famous water, so it has a beautiful taste!
Tonight, we had another bottle of "Sono Kangiku Jugenmu 50 Hazy Moon" which was highly praised by my friends and the regulars who had just arrived at the restaurant.
We opened a bottle of "Sohno-Kangiku Jukinmu 50 Hazy Moon" which was highly praised by our friends and regular customers who used to come to the restaurant before, and brought in another bottle of spring sake, so let's open this one too 🥰.
Saijotsuru Haru-Rururu Junmai Ginjo Nama-Shu.
I saw Nemuchi and others drinking this before and was curious about the loose jacket, so I got it at Liquor Shop Okayama on my recent trip to Kyoto 💡.
[A glass.]
Aroma of mellow, slightly citrus-like sweet rice, soft and gentle umami, sweetness, and a refreshing acidity that cuts through the sweetness and finishes with a refreshing aftertaste and a soft bitterness and citrus aroma.
[Tsuki no Oubai.]
A citrusy, clean rice aroma, citrusy flavor and sweetness on the palate, followed by a citrusy acidity that finishes with a clean aftertaste and light citrusy aroma.
The owner told us that the horse mackerel was good today, so we ordered the sashimi platter and the horse mackerel namerou ✨.
The taste of "Haru no Rururu" (Spring Rururu) neatly washes away the flavor of the sashimi and the salty taste of the nameko (horse mackerel) 😋.
This one also got rave reviews from the members 📣.
Sometimes it's nice to drink outside and enjoy the moon viewing 😁.
My wife and I will be back next week 🥰.
The fourth picture is [appetizer], [nameko], and [sashimi platter] ✨.
As always, it is a blissful time at Kicchin Usagi to think about how to put today's sake together while eating the carefully prepared [appetizers] 🥰.
Hi, Jive!
Sashimi and nameko - I'm drooling 🤤!
I've never actually seen Saijotsuru before, but it's citrusy and sweet 😲.
I'm curious to find out, as I'm sure it's one of my favorites 😋.
Hi Jive 🐦.
This one is lovely and fuzzy....okayamasan, I'll keep it in mind until next year 😁.
It was a nice refreshment with good friends and good food 😉.
Hi, ma-ki-chan!
I've had a lot of Hiroshima sake, but this was actually my first time at Saijotsuru✨.
The food and seasonal fish prepared by the proprietress is always delicious, and it always makes me want to drink more 🥰.
Hi, Pon-chan!
I've had my eye on this since "Winter Fufu" and finally got it 😁.
When I went there, there was still quite a bit of stock left at Okayama, so it might be worth a call to check 🥰.
