Tamagawa Ice Breaker 2019BY
Aged 5 years
Slightly hazy dark yellow.
Banana, cloves, steamed straw, paulownia chest
Fairly strong impact, full sweetness, firm acidity, mellow impression with umami accompanied by bitterness, slightly long finish
When heated hot, the spread of the flavor is brought together.
I think I prefer this one if I want to drink it in a leisurely manner.
No, I like both.
When I tried it with mackerel sushi, the hotter version gave a better sense of unity.
I felt a bit of fishiness when it was hiya (room temperature).
I was once told by the toji (master brewer) of a brewery
Why is Tamagawa's sake so strong?
He replied, "Because Harper's sake is the real thing.
He replied, "Because Harper's sake is the real thing.
He replied, "Because Harper's sake is the real thing.
Hmmm, what is "real" and what is the opposite, "fake"?
I think I asked him what happened next since we were drinking, but I don't remember.
I will ask again.
I bought it because it was Tamagawa's #1 seller & its label attracted me.
This is a summer sake from Tamagawa, a Japanese sake brewed by English Southern Touji Philip Harper.
"Ice Breaker" means "something that softens the place or atmosphere" in English, which is exactly what sake is supposed to do.
It has a cool, refreshing aroma, and in the mouth it is delicious with a gentle, rich flavor that spreads a moderate rice flavor and beautiful acidity.
This is an unfiltered, unfiltered, unfiltered sake to be enjoyed on the rocks in the summer.
When the ice melts, it is almost watery.
Description
This is a confident creation of English toji Philip Harper. Ice Breaker" is an English term for something that eases the tension and soothes the senses by the addition of alcohol. By filling a wine glass with ice and pouring this liquor, a tone like a wind chime is played, creating a cool atmosphere. This sake has a robust and powerful flavor when served straight, but as the ice melts, you can enjoy rich changes all the way through to the end.

A spicy, minty summery 😊Naturally, I take it on the rocks to cool off for a moment while watching the ice melt 😊.
Ahhhh, hot is so sweet!
This is another drink I drank on my way home - ✌️
My brother had recommended it to me for a while and I found it at a liquor store in Hiroshima, so I bought it 🌈
I had it well chilled. 🍸️
It's refreshing but not too light and delicious. ✌️
My brother was happy with it and I'm glad we all enjoyed it together 🥰.
Good evening, Jun-san😄
This is a very thick beer, but it tastes good when it is cooled down 🤣It has a high alcohol content, but it's dangerous to drink it on the rocks.
Nice to meet you, Kikushika of Wind Island! Thanks for your comment 🥰.
It's always a good night when family and drinks get together even when we are apart 🥰🍶.
