[Lunchtime drinking with pay Now, let's open the "winner" and have another drink 🍶. I had the same topic with Mr. Maru a while ago, but I was a little hesitant to drink kijoshu because I'm not very good at it, but since the sake I'm aiming for in the future is kijoshu, I chose this one for my last sake 🍶. Yoshida Kurau Hyakumangoku No Shiro Kijoshu The aroma of rice with a hint of sweetness is not flashy and calm, and the taste is smooth and light sweetness, then it finishes with a gentle and calm lingering aftertaste. The back of the bottle label states that it is a modern Yamahai kijoshu, but first impressions are that it is a kijoshu? The first impression is that it tastes so light that you may think it is a kijoshu, but the sweetness is well balanced and calm, and the low alcohol content makes it perfect for daytime drinking. [I was very satisfied at Koisan Shokudo, so I left the restaurant and walked home feeling the cool evening breeze 🚶. I thought it would be nice to spend the day off like this once in a while, but it would be a burden on my wife to take me home 🤣.

マル
Gyive, here too 😙. This kijoshu is easy to drink 😆 I think I can drink this too if it is this kind of kijoshu. Gyve, do you have a target in mind for a kijoshu? I'm interested 😳😁.

Hi Maru-san! I had another candidate to drink at Koisan Shokudo, but I remembered Maru-san's post the other day and decided to drink it myself 🥰. They released a new sake called "Hakugakuzen" at the end of last year, but it's quite expensive 💦.

[I left Youkamean Kamesa in a good mood after having a perfect lunchtime drink with pay. [After leaving Kamessa in a good mood, we walked through a park and a shopping street to get to Koisan Shokudo (Koisan Restaurant), which we have not visited for a while. I bumped into an old friend of mine who runs a shochu bar near Koisan, so we went in together and had a toast together 🍻. While saying hello to the other regular drinkers, I looked over the sake menu and found a sake I was interested in, so I decided to have one 🍶. The winner of the competition, the beautiful sake of victory, the Rebirth, Tank Pressed Junmai Ginjo Gohyakumangoku. The aroma of rice is calm and gentle, and it goes down smoothly, with a rich and gentle flavor, a hint of sweetness and sharpness, and a gentle aftertaste at the end. It is a reissue model of another brand from Tanabe Shuzo, which brews "Echizenmisaki". It is a reissue of a champion junmai ginjo that recreates the same structure of special-class sake from the era of the classified system. I was curious to see about 6 brands of reissued sake including "Kachikatsu" at a liquor store I visited recently 🥰.

I decided to do something I don't usually do 🍶: Lunchtime drinking ☀🍶. I got my wife's permission to have a lunchtime drink and spent the morning working out at the gym and bathhouse to get ready for the day 😄. We went to our regular restaurant, Yugamian Kamenya, a short walk from our house 🚶. We ordered beer and konjak dengaku before we started the first Soba, and after quenching our thirst, we shifted to Oroshi Soba and Sake to start our meal 🍶. Tsuneyama Junmai Dry Chokuchi The aroma of rice is clear and full, the mouthfeel is smooth and clear, the flavor is clean and crisp, and there is a refreshing aftertaste and a lingering bitterness at the end. I forget who said it, but it is the embodiment of the phrase "Fukui's sake is rich in flavor". The spiciness of the refreshing "oroshi-soba" goes well with the mellow flavor of "Tsuneyama". Some restaurants in Fukui serve oroshi-soba separately from the broth, as shown in the fourth picture, so visitors to Fukui eat it dipped in the broth like mori-soba, while local residents basically eat it bukkake style, as shown in the first picture 😄. I'm starting to feel drunk, so I'm going to walk a little more and go to the "Hashigo-zake" (lunchtime drinking) 🤣.

Hi, Gyve! I'm not sure what to expect from a lunchtime drink, but it sounds like a situation where both fun and deliciousness would be doubled 🎵. I see... I'll have to pour it over the separate servings 😲. I will do that when I visit Fukui 😁.

May 13 was the night of the May full moon [Flower Moon] 🌕️🌸 Due to work-related reasons, I had to postpone my meeting by one day, so let's have our regular "moon-viewing sake" tonight 🍶🌝. I was lucky enough to get the sake I was going to open this time a while ago, and after thinking about when to open it, I decided to coincide it with the "Flower Moon" and waited for this day to come 🤣. Nabeshima Junmai Ginjo Blossom Moon The first "Nabeshima Moon Series" for home drinking 🎉. [The glass is a floral glass.] Floral rice aroma like honey of flowers, a touch of gas on the tip of the tongue, a gorgeous sweetness, and a bitter taste in the back of the throat, followed by a fresh and sweet aftertaste. [Mokkiri.] The aroma of rice is weaker than that of a glass, but it is reminiscent of the honey of flowers, and the mouthfeel has a long, pleasantly sweet aftertaste. The taste of happiness and lingering aftertaste spread in the mouth with each sip, and the finish is fresh and fresh. This is the best bottle to drink while slowly looking up at the moon. Tonight, you can see the moon drunk even from inside the room! Serve with seasonal Shizuoka bonito tataki, local Echizen horse mackerel sashimi, or leftover gari (pickled ginger) at 👍️, or even better with Fukui's famous Habutae walnuts (a famous sweet in Fukui).

Last weekend, I had another day off, so I took the kids to a park a little ways away. We went to Hamanako Pal Pal on GW, but I was surprised to find that there were surprisingly few things for both of us to play together, such as playground equipment that neither of us can play on and equipment that only my older daughter can play on 😲. My birthday is coming up in the summer, so I think there will be more things for both of us to play together next time 🥰. Now, after putting the kids to bed, let's have a drink tonight 🍶. Kurosawa Namahashi, Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai GOLD [Glass.] Aroma of mellow rice with a hint of sake yeast, penetrating umami with a clean mouthfeel, soft acidity and a firm bitterness in the finish. [Mokkiri.] Slightly woody aroma like Japanese cypress, smooth umami with a clean mouthfeel, a hint of sweetness and acidity, and a firm bitterness on the finish. The sake is refreshing, yet accented by a strong bitterness in the aftertaste, a taste I had never experienced before. The curiosity of "What's this sake? I tried heating up the sake, which I saw on SNS, but the bitter part of the taste was softened and turned into sweetness, and I felt a slightly tangy, savory, nutty taste, which was also delicious.

Back to the timeline [Drinking in Hamamatsu] extra edition (2) [After leaving Hamamatsu Tanto, we wander down the main streets of Hamamatsu's drinking district, Sakanamachi-dori and Kajicho-dori, and even though it's after midnight, the streets are packed with people in the heat of the first day of the festival. I was about to go back to the hotel when I found a bar that was open until 9am, so I got sucked in 🤣. I finally found a bottle of Shizuoka Beer, a limited edition of Sapporo Beer Shizuoka Factory, at the Japanese style bar Kuro and had a glass 🍺! What's wrong with that? [It has a similar flavor to Akahoshi with a hint of sweetness and lightness, it's delicious 😋. Okay, now that I'm in the mood, I decided to get a glass of sake as well, so I chose from the seasonal selections on the blackboard and ordered my final drink! Udejo Waku Waku Ginjo-Ginjo-Harajuku Nama Sake Fruity and sweet rice aroma, sweet taste like an apple with honey, and a sweet aftertaste. Shockingly delicious taste, even after a lot of drinking, this is delicious ✨. The brewery's introduction reads This is a ginjo brewed with Shizuoka-grown sake rice, utilizing the know-how of the National New Sake Council! It was so good that I tried to find some the next day for a short time but couldn't get it, so I got a case of "Shizuoka Mugishu" to take home instead 🤣.

BBQ at my parents' house on GW (3) After drinking up all the "Love Run", my father told me to bring my favorite liquor from the cellar to get drunk, so I rummaged through the cellar 🧐. I opened a bottle of "Hakuryu" from a selection of 5 different specs of Hakuryu, probably because I had visited Yoshida Sake Brewery at the end of April. Hakuryu Yoshimine Kura Junmai Ginjyo Shiboritate Nama Nama Sake. The aroma of rice is clean and beautiful, the mouthfeel is clear and clear, and the taste is clear and clear, with a hint of sweetness, and then it finishes with a refreshingly cool aftertaste. Yoshiminegura" is the name of the new brewery, which is a joint venture between Yoshida Shuzo and a Hong Kong company. In addition to the regular brewing, the Yoshiminegura series is mainly for export to Hong Kong, and can only be purchased in Japan at the direct sales shop in the facility. Although the direction is different from that of the previously opened "Love Run," I feel that the brewery is taking on the challenge of developing new sales channels 🥰. BBQ at my parents' house during GW. The "Senpuku" that I opened for a story was quickly consumed, so next time I brought my own sake, I opened the sake that I really wanted to drink and had a drink 🍶. Love it! Junmai Ginjo. A clean rice aroma, a slight gasiness on the palate, an apple-like sweetness and umami, and a long, refreshing aftertaste. My father and I also gave it to my mom, who has recently learned to drink a little, and she gave it a very high rating, saying it was "just like an apple"! This is an option from the Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai that I signed up for this season and they sent me 2 bottles of Hanpukai sake every month along with 1 additional bottle of a commercial product ✨. It's not a bad idea to buy like this 🥰 since you're less likely to meet new people if you choose to buy it yourself. The "Love Run" was planned by a student in a seminar at Nagano Prefectural University, who teamed up with Teshimaya, the brewer of "Gowatari" in the hope that it will inspire a generation of people who are increasingly turning away from Japanese sake to drink it. We hope that this will be the start of someone's new appreciation of sake.

We went to Shizuoka for two days and one night, and arrived home early without running into traffic on the way back 🚙. We had one more post in Shizuoka, but this time we reached 556 posts ✨! [I've been thinking about what to do since Mr. Shirowama asked me to write a commemorative post using CRE 5-56, an anti-corrosion lubricant sold by Kure Kogyo 🤔. Candidates were "Rusty Cat Rock" or "Sake from Kure, Hiroshima" named after Kure Kogyo. However, I didn't get "Rusty Cat" at the Nikomaru Sake Boutique the other day, and I just drank "Amego no Tsuki", so I don't have any Kure sake in stock😅. We went to Hamamatsu Gyoza and Akaboshi, which we wanted to try, and had a gyoza-bee (gyoza-bee) and an akaboshi (aka-boshi), then switched to hot food. Hana-no-Mai Honjozo, hot sake from ♨️ Aroma of rice with a hint of alky sake, a firm flavor and mild lingering aftertaste, and finally a nose-bleeding aroma that is typical of alky sake! It was a perfect match with the "Enshu-nada no Ao-sa wo toppings" (tofu topped with Enshu-nada no Ao-sa) that was served as an appetizer. For the rice, we served Ina Udon (cold udon noodles). If you eat it without dropping the egg, the bonito broth will expand its flavor, and if you break the egg, the nourishing flavor will spread.

[Hamamatsu Drinking We found a rare brand that is hard to drink in our hometown and ordered it along with our Drink Crust Order ✨. Sansudo 2024 Kago Gonouzou". The aroma of rice with a strong alcohol content, the gas feeling on the tip of the tongue, the deep juicy flavor, and the minerality that shifts to sweetness and finishes with a pleasant aftertaste and a unique aroma that leaves a lasting impression on the nose and palate. It has been a long time since I have tasted "Sansho", it tastes like a trip, how delicious! Now, we are here just in time for the Hamamatsu Festival, so we are going to stroll around downtown a bit more 🚶.

[Hamamatsu Drinking [The second drink I chose at Hamamatsu Hamamatsu was a pint of this drink, which I had not drunk before and was attracted by the specs I was curious about. Shuji: Junmai Ginjyo "light nigori" Nama The aroma of rice with a soft acidity, the mouthfeel is clean, the taste is gentle, the acidity is soft, and the finish is gently sharp, with a sweetness similar to that of ramune. [The gap between the rough words "nama yeast" and "light nigori", which I personally feel, and the calm and gentle taste is delicious 🥰. The fourth one is "Sawayaka's hamburger steak", which I really wanted to try when I came to Shizuoka.

Usually I'm always working, but this year I took a day off to visit my wife's sister-in-law in Shizuoka Prefecture with my children. We entered Hamanako Pal Pal a little after 10:00 a.m., played with the kids and nephews for a while, and had a hamburger steak for dinner at Sawayaka, where we went to pick up our numbers. After getting back to the hotel and finishing my driver duties for the day, it was time to go out for a drink 🚶. It was my first time to drink in Hamamatsu, and I entered a restaurant I liked from a post by Makojii just before the last order 😅. First, I quenched my thirst with "Akahoshi" and then looked through the sake menu...oh my god, they have all kinds of drunken sake 🥰! Let's start with this one! Shinshu Kamerei Junmai Ginjo Hitogokochi Fruity sweet rice aroma like melon, a slight gas feeling as the mouthpiece is sealed, juicy flavor from a firm sweetness to a mellow lingering taste, and a slight bitterness lingering on the tongue at the end. It's delicious, and I'm actually drunk just to compare how it differs from the "Tazawa Hitogokochi" that I have in stock! Of course it goes well with horse sashimi, but it's surprisingly interesting how the sweetness spreads with the smell when paired with whale 🤩.

One-day Osaka Trip Extravaganza🚃. This is the 551st post in the series 🎉! I had been preparing to make a commemorative post in Osaka to celebrate this milestone, but my drinking activity has been progressing unexpectedly, so I'm going to use a more aggressive method this time 🤣. I'm ready to go, so I'll have a drink at the Thunderbird Izakaya on the way home 🍶. Katano Sakura Junmai Namaishu. Beautiful clean rice aroma, beautiful rice flavor and a slight sweetness on the palate, followed by a light sweet aftertaste. The dish was, of course, "551 Hourai's Sweet & Snack Pork Lunchbox" 🍴. I made my 551st post with 551 Hourai and Osaka sake 🤣! It was an agonizing process to get to this point, and in the end, I played dirty in the last update by posting "射美ピンク" and "花陽浴プレミアム" together, which I regret 🙇. However, it became difficult to coordinate the next [555] post I had in mind, so I'm going to go with the shifting of the two 🤗.

One-day trip to Osaka ④🚃. So far, I ordered the same thing as [bouken], but from here on, we ordered different things 🎵. I ordered "Kahayo Yoku Premium", and bouken-san ordered "射美 Pink", and what came out was "射美 特純 15号"! I ordered "Hahoriyokyu THE PREMIUM Hachitan-Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo, Polishing 40%, Unfiltered Nama-shu". I had drunk it in the past, and this time, I reviewed the "Imi Pink" which I was given in exchange for a little bit of the "Imi Pink". ikumi tokun jun 15 Distinctive but indescribable aroma, clean sweetness on the palate. The taste is much easier to recognize than the black one. The "Huahiangyoku" has a sweet pineapple flavor that does not betray its Huahiangyoku-like character. 6300 yen for the two of us after drinking so much premium sake and ordering food. That's too cheap! After this, we went back to Namba station to say goodbye to bouken-san and went back to Umeda for shopping.

One-day trip to Osaka (2) I met up with bouken-san, who had asked me to exchange sake at Namba's EDION, and we went to the sake corner, and then to Nikomaru Shuhan in Kouhama. To my surprise, I was able to get a bottle of "Sentoku" that I had been looking for, which had just arrived. I was also able to buy a bottle of Oita's "Hanashimi" 🎵. From there, I went back to Tennoji and had a drink at Tesho Sake 🍶. They had a lot of premium sake on tap during the GW period, and I was wondering which one to order, so I started with this one! Imi BLACK"! There was also a WHITE sake, but I chose this one because I have had it in the past! I had booked a JR ticket to Osaka after the end of the fiscal year, and although it looks like GW will be busy, I decided to take the opportunity to go out to Osaka 🚃. Real-time sake activity update again 🆙. The restaurant I had planned to have lunch at didn't seem to recommend lunchtime drinking, so I had a quick lunch of "Chashu Eggs" and beer, and then went to "Osaka Takashimaya" (🚶). We started off with a cup of doburoku brewed by Heiwa Shuzo, the brewer of the recently created "Kido". Heiwa Doburoku Plain. Aroma of mellow rice with a hint of koji (malted rice), a slight gaseous taste, creamy yogurt-like sweetness and a refreshing aftertaste, and finally the texture of the rice grains that linger in the mouth. Yes, I think I like it a lot.
