ジャイヴI spent a relaxing weekend with my family for the first time in a while, and since I had Monday off, I went to the gym as usual to digest the menu. In the evening, my wife and I celebrated our two-month delayed wedding anniversary by going to 🐰 at her request again.
This time, I asked my wife to choose the dishes she wanted to eat and let her taste the owner's cooking to her heart's content 🤩.
I also brought a special sake to go with her exquisite dishes to celebrate our anniversary 🐰.
Katsuma Junmai-shu Shiboritate Nama!
The aroma of mellow sweet rice with a hint of creaminess, the mouthfeel is smooth and mellow, the flavor is sweet, and the taste fades out quickly, leaving a pleasant aftertaste and a lingering sweetness on the tongue.
The taste is so clear and beautiful that it is hard to believe it is junmai sake ✨The flavor is not lost as you continue to drink it, it is simply delicious 😋.
I heard this one was in stock at the Echizen Sake Shop HAYASHI SAKE STORE at the end of February and went to buy it a few days late, but I didn't expect to find it hidden in the back of a cupboard and got it right after it was put on display 🤣.

We opened a bottle of "Sohno-Kangiku Jukinmu 50 Hazy Moon" which was highly praised by our friends and regular customers who used to come to the restaurant before, and brought in another bottle of spring sake, so let's open this one too 🥰.
Saijotsuru Haru-Rururu Junmai Ginjo Nama-Shu.
I saw Nemuchi and others drinking this before and was curious about the loose jacket, so I got it at Liquor Shop Okayama on my recent trip to Kyoto 💡.

Aroma of mellow, slightly citrus-like sweet rice, soft and gentle umami, sweetness, and a refreshing acidity that cuts through the sweetness and finishes with a refreshing aftertaste and a soft bitterness and citrus aroma.
[Tsuki no Oubai.]
A citrusy, clean rice aroma, citrusy flavor and sweetness on the palate, followed by a citrusy acidity that finishes with a clean aftertaste and light citrusy aroma.
The owner told us that the horse mackerel was good today, so we ordered the sashimi platter and the horse mackerel namerou ✨.
The taste of "Haru no Rururu" (Spring Rururu) neatly washes away the flavor of the sashimi and the salty taste of the nameko (horse mackerel) 😋.
This one also got rave reviews from the members 📣.
Sometimes it's nice to drink outside and enjoy the moon viewing 😁.

I've had a lot of Hiroshima sake, but this was actually my first time at Saijotsuru✨.

I saw the jacket at Sake-no-wa and fell in love with it at first sight. I was looking for it, but couldn't find it in my hometown or on the road, so I just popped it in with my Rakuten points.

The aroma of rice with a transparent sweetness, the gasiness of the mouth, and the sweet and refreshing taste of Kangiku, with a clean aftertaste.

A clear, refreshing, sweet rice aroma, with a sweet taste that is typical of Kangiku, from the gasiness of the mouthfeel to the sweetness and bitterness of the back, with a clean lingering finish.
The mellow sweetness and refreshing aftertaste that is typical of "Sono Kangiku" are the best 😁.
The dish was the proprietress's special tempura of spring vegetables and wild vegetables.

We opened a bottle of "Shinshu Kamerei Yumemizuho" and opened another bottle of "Shinshu Kamerei Yumemizuho", which is perfect for this time of the year.
Tasake NEW YEAR Bottle 2025 Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu.
Sweet aroma like muscat with high sugar content, a slight gasiness on the palate, a firm sweetness and umami, a long finish, and a gentle lingering aftertaste.
Trip time: 13 seconds
When I asked my friends to drink this one, they all praised it.
We talked about how cool the label was, but what about the pun on the back label that says, "Tasty tazake is heavyweight"? We had a lot of fun with the drunkenness 🤣.

I feel the biggest mystery🤔 is how a heavyweight snake has a boar cup, but I want to celebrate the new year with drunken drinks and good food 😁. ジャイヴJanuary 6 was the first day of work for some of us, but since we couldn't coordinate our schedules, we held our annual "New Year's party with sukiyaki" on that day.
The place was the usual favorite, Kicchin Usagi 😁.
After saying hello to the proprietress of Usagi and wishing her a happy new year, we started with beer and appetizers to quench our thirst, and then moved on to sake 🍶.
We brought in two bottles of sake and the first one we opened was this one ✨.
Shinshu Kamerei Yumemizuho.

The reason why we chose this one this time is because the proprietress is from Suzu city in Noto, Ishikawa prefecture, and the place where she was born and raised was damaged by the earthquake last year, so we chose this one with a wish for the reconstruction!
She has been to Suzu several times and was worried about the current situation that is not progressing as well as she would like.
She was also concerned about the current situation, so she decided to do what she could to support the recovery efforts by drinking this wine.
The proprietress also tasted a little and liked it 😋.
I bought 3 bottles of "Yumemizuho" from Okazaki Shuzo in the summer and finished them all 😊.

Toyobai Junmai Daiginjo.
The aroma was full and slightly apple-like, the mouthfeel was ripe apple sweetness and bitterness, and immediately after drinking it, there was a calm and pleasant aftertaste, and the apple-like sweetness flowed smoothly through the body like nectar.
As the temperature rises, the mellow apple sweetness and umami taste increases.
Last year, I was curious about "Toyobai" when I saw Mr. Menshuoh drinking it.
Then I drank it at the store and loved it so much that I was wondering if it was going to be my bottle of the previous year 😆.
Now I have a cousin who works in Hirosaki city and he sends it to me via my uncle 😁.

[The proprietress of Kicchin Usagi arranges dishes she can't eat so that she can eat them. She says she is not good at sukiyaki, but the only sukiyaki she can eat is at a famous restaurant in Mie called Wadakane, so she makes it based on that.
You can enjoy her original arrangements of many exquisite dishes in the restaurant.

Fresh and lightly citrusy aroma, a carbonation sensation on the palate, a fresh, clear and juicy flavor, citrusy and clean sweetness, a crisp and refreshing rice aroma and lingering aftertaste.
Compared to the one I drank last July, which was aged for half a year, the sweetness is weaker, but the freshness and refreshing citrusy pleasant acidity are wonderful!
Compared to the "Sagabiyori" that I drank a while ago, this one is fresher and of course has a stronger grapefruit flavor 🤔.
[The proprietress of Usagi used to live near the disaster-stricken area of Suzu, and we were glad to hear that she was able to get in touch with some of her acquaintances and that no one was hurt in the disaster!

The third bottle I opened was a bottle of this summer's sake, which I hadn't drunk yet because I had heard it had a good reputation.
Hakugakusen Junmai Ginjo Umimatsu, also from my hometown in Fukui.
Fresh rice aroma, sweetness with a predominant umami taste at the mouth, and a sharp, sweet finish with a touch of umami and acidity.
The mentaiko (cod roe) and nori (dried laver) wrapped around the rice was an excellent match with the salty and spicy flavor.
I was very satisfied with my first visit to Kicchin Usagi in a long time 🐰.

It is what is called "hiyaoroshi," or "hiya-oshi" in Japanese, and with its excellent label design, it is a bottle to drink slowly on a long autumn night.
This time, I enjoyed it with my drinking companions.

Ni-Hare Junmai Daiginjo Aizan 48
Aroma of mellow rice, mildly sweet taste with a hint of Aiyama's typical sweetness, and a lingering sweetness after the finish, as well as a final sake-like smell.
It goes well with the delicious kombujime (sweet shrimp on kelp) that we ordered for our entrée!
This is a bottle that is too delicious.

This year I was the organizer of the party, so we went to my favorite restaurant, "Kicchin Usagi" and had sukiyaki while enjoying a glass of sake.
I was allowed to bring in a new sake version of "Megane Dedicated" that I drank before, leaving it for New Year's!
At that time, I had been diagnosed with sinusitis, so my sense of taste and smell was not so good, but I still felt the freshness of the sake, and it went down my throat smoothly.
However, I couldn't taste the fine flavors. It was disappointing.
