ジャイヴDrinking at Shima & Coffee & Sake on New Year's Day
I was about to order my last cup of coffee when the master of a local shochu bar came to the bar and after chatting with Shima, he decided to open his favorite drink.
Shinsei Amageru
First time to drink "Amaeru" 🎉.
It has a characteristic aroma, but I can't describe it well. It has a very firm gasiness at the mouth, a sweetness and a soft acidity after the shwash, and a fresh and sweet acidity after the shwash gasiness that goes down your throat.
This is delicious. It has a more robust flavor than the Viridian I drank a while ago, but the aftertaste is lighter due to the strength of the gas feeling.
The lightness of 8% alcohol and the strong gassiness will surely make you mistake it for champagne if you drink it blind 🍾.
I jumped on the Echizen Railway without coffee because I was pressed for time 🚃. 麺酒王Gyve, I hope you have a great year 😌.
Tenfrog? ‼️ I have never seen you yet 😲 Recently Choroki-san drank a few years brewed Tenfrog and it was like a carbonated bee ❗‼️ awesome sake! ma-ki-Good evening, Mr. Gyve.
You've been on a sake kick since the New Year ✨.
And Ameeru - one of the Shinsei's I'd like to drink: ⤴️ ジャイヴHappy New Year, King of Noodle Wine 🌄.
I look forward to working with you this year ✨
It was your first time, but the gas pressure is really high, shwash shwash 🍾.
[Shima] had a hard time opening it too 🤣. ジャイヴHi ma-ki-!
I am a very active person, and I am always in good shape, so before I go out to drink, I always go to the gym and take a bath to work out 🤣.
Last year I was able to get some Shinmasa, so I'm hoping to achieve home drinking this year✨. ジャイヴDrinking at Shima & Coffee & Sake in the New Year (3)
After comparing "Date Seven", I thought the next one I wanted was "KahayoYoku", a hidden sake announced on Instagram, but unfortunately it was sold out yesterday 😅.
Then, let's ask for the one I was curious about when I saw the label. I was wondering what's this on the label 😁.
Amezure, Sake Kaiyoshi (Leader of the Sake World)
Aroma of rice like a mellow lactic acid drink, gasiness at the mouth, sweetness like a lactic acid drink, and bitterness on the back, followed by a mellow, pleasantly sweet aftertaste, and a slight tightening feeling on the tongue at the end.
It's like a Yakult's millege soda.
Mr. Shima said it is the same height as a four-pack bottle but has a capacity of 1.5 liters, so it is easy to find a place to put it. アラジンGood evening, Gyve 😃.
The Sake World Leader of Rainfall 😳
It's a limited distribution one from Isego Honten in Tokyo and Sake base in Chiba ☺️
I've been wanting to try it 🤤It's amazing that you can drink this! You are a very drunk store 😊. ジャイヴHi Aladdin!
[Shima originally had a coffee shop in Tokyo and said that he used his contacts there to buy sake.
I got to taste a rare sake ✨. ジャイヴDrinking at Shima & Coffee & Sake in the New Year (2)
I have to order this one to compare with "Date Seven Orihime Bottle" 😁.
Date Seven Junmai Daiginjo Bokue Style Hikoboshi Bottle
Soft and fruity aroma of rice, mild umami and sweetness, and a pleasant aftertaste.
In my opinion, Hikoboshi is milder and easier to drink 🤔.
The Hikoboshi bottle was the first to sell out ✨. ジャイヴThis year, as is customary this year, we went on a drinking spree while making the rounds to greet the in-laws 😁.
I wanted to greet them for the New Year, so I went to Shima & Coffee & Sake 🚶.
Takashi-san was there cleaning up for the collaboration event, so we kicked off the evening with an Octopus Wiener and a bottle of Black Label 🍺.
Now, let's drink! I went to the cellar and found a bottle that was rare for this time of the year, so I compared them 😋.
Date Seven Junmai Daiginjo Katsuyama Style Orihime Bottle
It has a cool, slightly pear-like rice aroma, a clean mouthfeel with a fruity flavor and a hint of sweetness that finishes with a punchy alcoholic aftertaste.
As you get used to drinking it, the impact fades and the fruity and umami flavors come through, making it easy to drink ✨. ジャイヴLooking back post 4 in SHIMA
The last sake I had at SHIMA was a limited edition sake that I chose because of its powerful typeface.
Limited edition Hououmida Hi Hiyaoroshi Junmai Ginjo-shu.
The aroma of slightly sweet rice that seems to permeate the scene, the sourness and umami of the mouthfeel, and the sweetness in the background all battle it out for the long, sharp finish.
The difference between the limited edition and the regular version is that it is said to be hiki-ired one less time 🔥.
To be exact, the regular sake is fire-aged and grated, and then fire-aged a second time right before bottling, but the limited edition is bottled without this fire-aging right before bottling✨.
I was led to the limited edition, but it's been a while since I've had a Tochigi Ai 🥰.
As I was slowly enjoying my last sake, a waiter from a nearby Okinawan restaurant came in for a midway break and left with a coffee split shochu and a quick bite of cheesecake, which left a strange impression on me 🆒.
This concludes my look back post 🔚. ジェイ&ノビィHi Gyve 😃.
The words "limited edition" has the power to attract people and ear drinkers 😁We got the black cold wholesale last year 😋.
Looking back, we love Tochigi 🥰. ジャイヴJay & Nobby, good morning here too ☀.
[Limited edition, there's no other word that can drive me to buy so much ✨.
I'd love to compare it with the regular one after drinking this one 😁.
Still love Tochigi even in Fukui 🥰. ポンちゃんGyve, thanks for posting the recap 😊They are all so carefully reviewed and awesome ✨.
I drank the same one last year and once again thought the Houou Mita was delicious ❣️ I'm more than happy with a sake that lives up to its limited edition name 😆. ジャイヴGood morning, Pon.
I left you a note of my impressions when I drank it 😁.
I've been away from "Houou Mita" for a while now, but I was able to reconfirm its deliciousness ✨. ジャイヴLooking back post 3) in SHIMA
The second drink I ordered after opening "Omine" was this one 🍶.
Wakanami Junmai Ginjo Omachi.
It had a strong apple aroma with a hint of umami, a slight tartness and umami that caught on the tip of my tongue, a sweetness that I could feel behind it, and a clean and refreshing aftertaste.
First time to drink "Wakanami", I think it's the first time to feel the freshness and the astringent feeling that remains at the end 🤔. ジャイヴLooking Back Post #2 in SHIMA
On my way back from visiting my in-laws on a holiday weekend in September, I had some time to spare, so I dropped by SHIMA & Coffee & Sake 😁.
It was about an hour before closing time, so let's go quickly and start with a cup of this 🍶.
Daimine 3 Grains Summer Jun Kasumi Nama-Nishiki Nama-Nishiki.
The aroma of rice with a hint of apple, slight carbonation on the tip of the tongue, and the mouthfeel is light and refreshing, with a slight apple sweetness and sourness that finishes with a refreshing aftertaste.
Easy to drink and refreshing 😋.
I've never had a "Daimine 3 Grain" at home before, but I finally got it the other day at Shusendo Horiichi in Nagoya ✨.
I'm looking forward to opening it now, but it's going to take a while since I have so much in stock💦. ジャイヴ[The last item I had at SHIMA & COFFEE & SAKE was this one, which had a unique label design that attracted my interest.
Kitanishi Sake Brewery Prototype
It has a sour grape-like aroma, a sweet aroma similar to the juicy "Sairai" with a hint of white grape sweetness and banana flavor behind the sweetness, and a firm sweetness with a slightly bitter finish.
The characteristic aroma of sweetness and umami mixed together and the juicy sweetness that comes afterwards, I think it is better suited for after dinner than during the meal 🤔.
This is a private brand from Kitanishi Shuzo, the brewer of Sairai, in collaboration with Isego Honten, with the concept of "a new sake that Kitanishi has never had before.
I didn't know you could drink this in Fukui 😲.
Now I'm feeling a bit drunk, so I'm moving on to an izakaya for dinner 🚶. pyonpyonHi Jive, good evening 😃😃It's a simple, eye-catching and cool label 🎵Isego is close to where I'm staying when I go to Tokyo, so I was hoping to visit there sometime 😆 I'll check it out ✨. ジャイヴGood evening, pyonpyon 🌛.
What's this? I think 😁.
[I'm so jealous that you get to go to Isego.
I'm so envious of you, please go and buy a lot of things ✨. ジャイヴ[The next item was a drink that Jay & Nobby had also had the day before, and we were curious about it.
Kouei Kiku Sunburst.
The aroma is like an apple with honey, the mouthfeel is clean with a sweetness close to umami, and the acidity is sharp and sharp, with a lingering sourness that sticks to the tongue.
Bitter grapefruit image 🤔. ma-ki-Hi Jive-san, good evening.
Even though your Nagano trip is over, you are still having a good sake life 🎵.
I got the Kouei Kiku Sunburst, too, and from your post, it looks like it has both sweetness and bitterness that will make you drink it in a gulp 😊. ジェイ&ノビィHi Jive 😃.
Leaving a souvenir of my Shinshu sake trip 🍶 to drink outside! Vigorous sake activity, isn't it 🤗.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the acid burst 💥😋I'm sure you'll enjoy it at home 😙. ジャイヴGood evening, ma-ki.
I don't often have this much freedom of movement, so when I can go out for a drink, I try not to miss it 😁.
I used to drink "Snoclet" drunk, but this one is refreshing thanks to the burst of acidity. ジャイヴHi Jay & Nobby 🌛.
I'm trying to consume it as it's putting pressure on my cellar, but I thought it's important to show up at a restaurant I know once in a while so I went out for a drink 😁.
It was refreshing and perfect for this season ✨ ジャイヴWife and kids went back to their parents-in-law's house.
I went to visit them but my mother-in-law told me to take it easy, so today I went to my hometown in Fukui for a long time and drank alone.
So I decided to go to SHIMA & COOFFEE & SAKE 🚶.
One of the seats was empty, so I went in and went to the cellar.
When I found this one, I couldn't help but ask for it, so I started with a glass 🍶.
Hirotogawa Special Junmai.
Fruity yet milky rice aroma, very refreshing and sweet, contrary to the aroma, with a clean and pleasant aftertaste.
The impact of the aroma and the gap between the clean taste and the deep aftertaste makes this a bottle that you can drink forever without getting tired of it.
This is a very tasty wine.
Hirotogawa" is often talked about at Sake-no-wa, and I am not sure if I will drink it at home yet, but I definitely want to repeat this bottle again!
The entrée is Camembert cheese in oil seasoned with ishiru and shotsuru (soy sauce). ポンちゃんGyve, also here 😊.
This restaurant is really nice ✨both the drinks and the entrées! I'm curious about the flavored cheese 😻
Coffee ☕ after this 😉. 麺酒王Hi Gyve 😃
It's very luxurious to spend some time alone, relaxing and facing sake ✨Hirotogawa is a bottle I'd like to keep on hand 🎵. ジャイヴHello Pon, ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
It just so happened that the event in collaboration with a restaurant was extended for a day until the day before so I was able to find the food menu 😁.
Both dishes are fish sauce, so they have their own peculiar taste, but they were salty enough to go well with sake 😋. ジャイヴHello, Mr. King of Noodles and Sake!
It's great to drink at home, but it's also great to drink sake that you can't usually get at a restaurant 😁.
I would love to get a bottle of Hirotogawa ✨. ジャイヴGW Sake Day Part 1 of 5
We drank more alcohol than we had planned so far, and the train was about to leave, so we decided to have a glass of sake that we had decided to finish with after first looking at the cellar 🍶.
Yukio Junmai Sake Aizan
The aroma is full, sweet, and deep with rice aroma, and while the sweetness of Aizan is strong, the umami is clean and crisp, and the aftertaste fades away while retaining the sweet aroma.
I was surprised that it could bring out so much flavor in a junmai sake and differentiate it from regular "Yukio Junmai-shu" (pure rice sake).
To be honest, this is the bottle that had the biggest impact on me today 😁.
Lastly, we had the usual closing coffee at SHIMA & coffee & sake, today's was Ethiopian.
It has a soothing, full aroma, a mild sweetness, and a refreshing flavor and bitterness, making it the perfect cup to sober you up!
Now, we're off to meet up with my father-in-law and his family✨. ma-ki-Jive, you drank well. ☺️
I can't help but feel that Junmai sake tastes better than anything else 🍶.
Well, take care on the road and enjoy the second part 🎵. ジャイヴGood morning, ma-ki-san!
I drank the "Yukio" before, which was very dry, but I didn't think it would be so sweet and gentle on the palate just by changing it to [Aizan] 😲.
I'm planning to do the second part 😁. ジャイヴGW Sake Activity Day Part 1
I was wondering which to drink with "Ohmine", but the other customer ordered "Fried fish with blue cheese" which looked so delicious and the person who ordered it insisted that it should be the signature menu item, so all the customers including myself ordered "Fried fish with blue cheese". Order 🤣
If you ordered the entrée, you should also order the sake, which I was worried about, so I ordered this and we had a drink 🍶.
Tenbi Junmai Ginjyo Usu Nigori Nama-zake
My first "Momoten" 😁.
I wonder what "Amami" will be like after the loss of Mr. Fujioka 🤔.
Fruity sweetness with a cemedine-like aroma, slight carbonation and sweet umami on the tip of the tongue, then a sharp and deep lingering taste, and finally a lingering bitterness on the tip of the tongue.
The slightly carbonated taste is fresh and goes very well with fried food.
[The crispy outside of the fried hanpen and the inside of the fried hanpen is pulled together, and the blue cheese has a peculiar yet delicious salty flavor and aroma that escapes through the nose.
No wonder they decided to make this one of their signature dishes✨.
And according to Mr. Kazuhiko Ota, deliciousness is propagated 😁. ma-ki-Hi Jive, good evening.
I don't get a chance to eat hanpen very often, but it looks amazing fried and wrapped in blue cheese 😊.
And a slightly carbonated sake with a deep aftertaste! It's a good, good time 🍶. ジャイヴThanks for your comment, ma-ki- ✨
It was an eye-opening snack for me too 😲.
I think it goes well with beer and highballs as well as carbonated sake 😁. ジェイ&ノビィGood morning, Jive 😃.
Nice assist by the customer👍Great to have the same snacks and a sense of togetherness 🤗
Peach heaven 🍑 alive and well ‼️ this is a good pairing! ジャイヴGood morning, Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀!
I'm going to try it first if you all say so 😁.
[I'm a fan of Amami, which has changed from Fujioka Touji, but I like it a lot. ジャイヴGW Sake Activity Day Part 1 (3)
When I was choosing which to order next, I was forced to choose between two options, and after 3 minutes of deliberation, I decided on this one for the first course.
Daimine 3-grain Aizan.
Fruity, mellow, sweet rice aroma, sweet taste with a firm umami, bitterness in the throat, and a sharp sharpness from the acidity, and a clean and beautiful aftertaste with a sour astringent taste that lingers on the tongue.
On the day of the event, we had invited a chef from outside, so we ordered a light side dish of homemade pickled wasabi leaves.
The cool leaf wasabi aroma was pleasant 😋. ma-ki-Good evening, Mr. Gyve.
Sake with a nice aroma is also good when drunk in a wine glass 🎵.
Aizan has a sweeter image in my opinion, so the aroma alone is enough to make me blissful ✨.
I also like your choice of cool snacks 😋. ジャイヴGood evening again, ma-ki-san 🌛.
I had heard about the reputation of "Daimine" for a long time, but it was fruity and sweet 😁.
I wasn't planning on ordering too many entrées at this point 😅. ジャイヴGW Sake Activity Day Part 1 (2)
[After having lunch at Amida Soba, we strolled around Fukui Station, where many events were held during GW, and finally went to a beer event called "Holiday and Beer" 🚶.
However, I gave up on the idea of having a beer because it was a bit too much to drink, so I went to [SHIMA & coffee & saké], which was having a small food event 😁.
First of all, we had a drink at this place that has a strong presence in the cellar 🍶.
Hanahayo Junmai Daiginjo Arigarami.
Aroma of mellow pineapple, sweetness like pineapple with a little sourness on the palate, a juicy yet refreshing umami, and a fade-out finish with a pleasant aftertaste, bitterness lingering in the throat, and a fruity tropical aroma that passes through the nose.
Ahhhh, it's delicious! ma-ki-Jive, you are having a great time 🎵.
The very popular Hanahayo Yuzu. I've seen many of my favorites, unfiltered raw - omachi - orikarami, and if it's from Huayouyu, it can't get any better than this 😊. ジャイヴGood evening, ma-ki-san 🌛.
I think SHIMA is the only place in my hometown where I can drink "Huayouyasu", I order it as soon as I find it 😁.
This pineapple feeling is a must repeat 😋. ジャイヴ[Fukui Spring New Sake Festival Additonal Time in SHIMA]
This is the last time after a long day 😁.
We had a last drink here 🍶.
Hanaboe Yamahai Junmai Nama-no-Hara Sake.
Apple-like aroma, sweetness on the first sip, then a mild cheese-like matured full-bodied umami and underlying astringency, followed by a sharp finish and a lingering aftertaste that quickly disappears.
I was already very drunk, so my notes were only fragmented and I'm not sure if I got it right😅.
It's been a while since I drank this much, but I'm very happy to have had so many different kinds of sake in one day 😁.
I'll repeat and recheck the ones I'm not sure about in my review ✨
With this, the Fukui Spring New Sake Festival marathon is complete🌸🏃💨. MayukoGood morning, Jive-san. ☺️ This is one of the sake that I have never had, "Hanaboe" here. It is really fun to enjoy different kinds of sake, isn't it? 🥰 マルHi Jive, ☀️
Congratulations on completing the Spring New Sake Festival in Fukui😄You drank a lot👍.
I also drank Hanaboe the other day and it's very tasty ☺️ ポンちゃんGyve, thanks for completing both the drink and the review 😊You enjoyed it a lot 😆.
I almost never drink Hanaboe, so I'd like to try this easy-drinking, mellow type as well ❣️ ジェイ&ノビィGood evening, Jive 😃.
You drank so well 😆 that even the aditional time has been extended 🤤 I've only had Hana Bae once and I wanted to drink it with Maru's 🤗. ジャイヴGood morning, Mayuko!
I actually thought it was "Hana Yuu" until I wrote the review 🤣.
I drank too much on that day, but I had a great day with many new discoveries 😁. ジャイヴGood morning, Maru-san!
This post made me feel like a crazy drinker at [Happirin] in front of Fukui station 🤣.
I left notes, but my memory of the taste is poor, so I'm going to have to revisit ✨ ジャイヴGood morning, Pon-chan!
I'm surprised how you were able to go home by train 🤣. ジャイヴGood morning, Jay & Nobby!
We made it through the additional time and even had to go to penalty shootout, but my liver is fine 🤣.
I'd love to have another go at the "Hanaboba" to get some revenge and compare drinks 😁. ジャイヴ[Fukui Spring New Sake Festival Additonal Time in SHIMA ①.]
After drinking beer with my father-in-law and my father-in-law at Our Brewing, a craft beer brewery in the redeveloped Fukui Ekimae Food Hall Minie, we went to Shima & Coffee & Sake, which was holding a limited event this weekend.
I heard that they were inviting outside chefs to open a good selection of sake for the New Sake Festival, so I knew I had to go.
Here's one that was barely left 🍶.
Shinsei Nirvana Tortoise
I thought it would have a miscellaneous taste since it was 80% polished and 80% pure, but it had a supple and beautiful umami, sweetness, and a clean acidic aftertaste.
I was surprised that they could create such a great taste without cutting it down.
I just wish I could have enjoyed it a little less drunk😅. ポンちゃんGood evening, Mr. Jive 🦉.
Aditional time 🤣You're still drinking 〰〰''he's strong 😆👍
Nirvana Tortoise I thought it would be more peculiar but it's delicious! MayukoJive, good morning ☺️ I have not had this "Shinsei" yet 🥲 my son bought it for me on a trip, so I am looking forward to it 😆. ジャイヴGood evening, Pon-chan 🌛.
We are a family of drinkers and we drink as much as we can 😅I'm back home safely on the train with this 🤣.
I was surprised to see how much sake can be made with minimal polishing 😁 I want to try again ジャイヴGood evening, Mayuko🌛.
I was so shocked by "Shinsei Nihonshu Classical Technique" which was introduced in a documentary program before, and I have been interested in "Nirvana Kame" which is similar to it for a long time and finally got to drink it 😁 Please try it ✨. ジャイヴHere is what I had for my second cup of coffee at SHIMA & coffee & saké before the company farewell party!
Tazake Kojo-zake.
The aroma is like ripe apples, the mouthfeel is juicy and full of sweetness and umami, then it finishes with a calm and deep aftertaste, and finally a bitter taste at the back of the throat.
Not too sweet, but with a deeper umami and richness, it has an apple brandy/calvados-like taste 🤔.
I would rather drink it while relaxing with a movie or reading a book than with a meal.
I ordered a cup of Ethiopian coffee to finish off the meal.
Compared to the rich taste of "Tasake", I felt the taste of "Ethiopia" was a bit bland, but the refreshing taste was a refreshing drink to get me in the mood for the next day 😋. Rafa papaGood morning Mr. Jive 😃
I was interested in this alcohol but I didn't have the courage to drink one four-pack 😅I'd like to drink a little of it outside 😁I'd like to have a cup of coffee at the end of the day 😁It's stylish 😌. ジャイヴGood evening, Rafa!
I've added a correction to my post. This is a coffee shop run by a master who loves Sake, and I always have a cup of coffee to finish off my lunchtime drinking 😋.
It was a perfect bottle for when I want to drink slowly ✨. ジャイヴAfter last weekend's unseasonably warm weather, it is now cold and rainy in Fukui ☂.
Today was a farewell party for those who are leaving their departments due to personnel changes at the company. I will stay in my current department for the next year, but two of my apprentices who I taught will be leaving, so I am worried about my job after April😅.
The venue for the party is not very good with all-you-can-drink Sake, so I went to SHIMA & coffee & saké near the venue to recharge my Sake ✨.
Kinjaku Junmai Ginjo Akiaagari.
Aroma of mellow sweet rice, a little pear-like? The taste is clean and sweet, with a refreshing aftertaste and a lingering bitterness.
In contrast to the mellow aroma, it is not so sweet and easy to drink.
The fourth picture was taken when we stopped by Yuretoro in Fukui Yatai Mura, which opened recently after the opening of the Shinkansen bullet train, before stopping by SHIMA.
I'm looking forward to seeing a new drinking area in Fukui. ポンちゃんHi Gyve, good evening 🦉.
Good to see you, Golden Chun Chun ❣️, it's not easy to meet people for a drink outside 💦.
Farewell to your apprentice and meet your new store, it's cold but spring 😌. アラジンGood evening, Gyve 😃.
I thought this industry was moving fast when spring sake started coming out, but it's already time for personnel changes 😌.
This Kinjaku was delicious too. ☺️
I felt your taste in the coaster on the Fukoku Mutual Life Insurance cigarette sign by Yuretoro😊. ジャイヴGood evening, Ponchan 🌛.
I forgot to mention that this was my first "Kinjaku" 😁.
At the end of this year, besides my apprentice, the junior staff that I worked with will also be leaving the project, so I feel sad to be the one to stay and see it through 💦. ジャイヴGood evening, Aladdin 🌛.
I felt nostalgia for Fukoku Seimei on the coaster as it is based on the concept of nostalgia [Showa Retro] 😁.
However, many stores were full at 5pm, so I hope to see more in the future☺. 麺酒王Good evening, Gyve 😃.
Oh, Golden Sparrow... I've never seen it ‼️! I'm jealous 🤤I can feel how delicious it is in your review✨. ジェイ&ノビィGood morning, Gyve 😃.
Chun Chun Autumn rise here! I've only heard that it's good 😅I'm sure you've seen the reviews 😅I know it's good 😋It's autumn, but it's already the sound of spring... time flies by year by year 😌. ジャイヴGood evening, Mr. King of Noodles and Sake 🌛.
I didn't expect to be able to drink "Kinjaku" myself 😲.
But Yamaguchi prefecture has a thick layer of local sake players, it's like a galactic army ✨. マコスケMr. Jive, it's nice to meet you, isn't it?
Your first Kinjaku was "Aki-agari"?
I'm surprised you could afford it at this time of the year. ジャイヴGood evening, Jay & Nobby 🌛.
The moment I saw the bottle in the cellar, I was Golden Chun Chun! I was so surprised 😁.
And I can't believe there's still [autumn rise] ✨.
In another month it will be cherry blossom season 🌸 ジャイヴNice to meet you, Makoske 😁I always read your posts ✨.
I heard that "Kinjaku" was among the sake brought in at the Izakaya event held at your restaurant [SHIMA] a while ago, so I think you left it until the event 😊. ジャイヴ[A day to work on sake activities] in [SHIMA & coffee & sakes] ☕🍶.
After comparing the different types of sake from the Hana-no-Kou Sake Brewery, we had the last one from SHIMA ☕🍶.
Tasake Tokubetsu Junmai Nama 2023 Shinshu.
Aomori-esque apple-like aroma with a hint of woodiness, juicy sweetness and umami on the palate, followed by a refreshingly gentle sweet aftertaste with an apple-like acidity.
The sweetness is more refreshing than the "Toyobai" that I drank the other day, and it is a dangerous bottle that can be drunk smoothly without making you feel that it is 16 degrees Celsius.
After being satisfied with the sake, we finished off with a coffee that only SHIMA can offer ☕ today's Brundi ☕!
The slightly bitter bitter chocolate-like richness is perfect for sobering up 💡.
When paying the bill, a donation box was placed at the end of the counter.
We left SHIMA with great satisfaction, but in fact, our sake activities are far from over 💦. ジェイ&ノビィGood evening, Gyve 😃.
A day of working on my drinking activities! It was a good day with a good drink followed by a coffee ☕️ and a good day to end it with a coffee ...... is still going on 😆 That's what I'm talking about 👍. ジャイヴGood evening, Jay & Nobby 🌛.
I thought I've had enough of this after the closing coffee, but as a result, I'm still in the first half 💦.
I was only a little tipsy from start to finish, probably because I had it with a glass of water, which is 90ml, half of a cup of sake 😁. ポンちゃんGood evening, Mr. Gyve 🌙.
Will you still be drinking? It's a great day to work on your booze, great store & drink lineup ✨I'm still a coffee lover 😊👍I've never had Burundi, so I'm curious: ❣️ ジャイヴGood morning Pon, good morning ☀☀☀.
I've had a lot more to drink as a result, so stay tuned for future posts 😁.
If it were within walking distance, I'd definitely go in 🤣.
The balance of bitterness and richness is quite delicious 😋. ジャイヴ[A day to work on sake activities] in [SHIMA & coffee & sakes] ☕🍶.
After emptying out the "San-do", the next choice was decided by the master, Mr. Shima, who said, "I have this one here.
First "Hana no Kaori" 🎉"Hana no Kaori Junmai Daiginjo Sakurabana".
We received the first bottle of the sealed bottle!
It has a rice aroma that reminds me of pear, similar to "Sanchi" but clearer and more fruity, a juicy umami sweetness on the palate, a lingering aftertaste that makes you sigh, and finally a strong bitterness that lingers on the tip of the tongue.
The accent of the remaining bitterness enhances the umami sweetness of the next sip.
Compared to the "Sanchi" which is easy to drink, the "Hana no Aroma" is a more leisurely sipping sake.
As the temperature rises, the bitterness fades and the sweetness increases, giving it a more floral flavor.
I was very satisfied with the "Hana-no-Kou Sake Brewery" drinking comparison that I never expected 😁.
[The sake drinking at SHIMA continues ☕🍶. MantaHi Jive ^ ^
I saw your review of Ane's and thought it was a nice floral fragrance, and here it is again✨.
And it's back to the scent of flowers from the producing soil 😊. あねさんHello 😊
You're right, we're drinking the same thing.
And I'm overwhelmed by your vocabulary 💦 yes, like, this is what I wanted to say.
I like the idea of comparing the type of wine with the type of soil. It seems to be fun to have different types 🌸. ジャイヴHello Manta!
The timing was perfect, the drinking out of the "Sansho" and the opening of the "Hana-no-Ko" coincided 😁.
We succeeded in recovering from not being able to drink what we were looking for ✨. ジャイヴHi Ane ☀☀☀☀.
Your review was easy to understand and I found some things I had missed 😁.
I'm curious to try the "chrysanthemum" one as well ✨. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
