The second drink at our favorite yakitori restaurant for the last time this year was Hachibei sake from Motosaka Sake Brewery.
This time it was freshly squeezed
Let's have it right away!
First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma.
The umami in the mouth is nice.
It also has a touch of alcohol, but the mouthfeel is so clean and easy to drink that you would think it was a junmai sake. It is so refreshing and easy to drink that you may think it is a junmai sake.
It has been a long time since I have had a Hachibei, but it is still a delicious sake!

Yes, it's a junmai sake without any unpleasant taste, and it went perfectly with the chicken dish 😋.
You noticed that very well! We now have a variety of sake from different regions, but back in the day we only had Mie sake 😁✨✨.

It was cold that day, so I looked for a sake that would warm me up while I was dusting myself off and found it 😘It is served warmed up to 45 degrees.
The aroma is a clear yellow with honey 🍯. The taste is also very honeyed.
It is a little crispy and sweet without any stale taste.
After that, the astringency spread to the center of my tongue.
The cooler it gets, the more the astringency stands out.
It is matured and thick.
My throat is hot.
I had it with grilled yellowtail kama with salt as a side dish, and I couldn't help but groan at how well it went with it 😍.
