Today, while working on my day off, my wife is going back to her parents' house after the kids' daycare, so it's time to work on local drinking activities for a long time 🌟. Yes [I've been waiting for this moment!] I feel like shouting "I've been waiting for this moment! So I took advantage of my day off to leave early, took a bath at a bathing facility, and then went to Matsumoto Shoten in the Fukui Yatai Mura (Fukui food stall village), which opens early, and toasted with beer and yakiniku (grilled meat) first 🍻. Next, we went to Sumi no En, a yakitori restaurant next door, and ordered some hot sake because it was cold. They have a rare brand of heated sake, so I chose this one! Hanagaki Super Spicy Junmai. Aroma of heated grain, gentle flavor and a hint of sweetness, and a calm and serene aftertaste! The sweetness that is typical of Hanagaki has been heated up, resulting in an intoxicating mouthfeel. I've never had Hanagaki heated before, but it has a clear Junmai sake-like flavor 😋. This heat and flavor is unbearable this time of year when the outside temperature is below 10℃. ✨️ I'm off to a sake event at a restaurant I often visit after this 🚶.

November 20 is a new moon🌚. The moon rises at dawn, so we've been having beautiful starry nights 🌟. If so, let's get out the "Moon Sake" and have a "Moon Sake" while stargazing 🌒🍶🌒🍶. Here's what we opened this time Fuyutatsutsuki Junmai Ginjyo 3 Season Matured Fuyutatsutsuki (Winter Moon). I got this on a recent trip to Onomichi. Candidates to secure if I find it over there are Tsuki after rain The big order. Winter Moon I bought a bottle of each of these three 🤣. ［Glass.] The aroma is like a clear peach, the mouthfeel is clear and mellow, the flavor is clean and refreshing, with a faint peachy sweet aftertaste, and a mineral-like bitterness lingers at the end. ［Mokkiri] A cool, slightly fruity aroma, a clear, mellow, umami sweetness, and a peach-like aroma on the palate, followed by a clean, refreshing aftertaste, and finally a mineral-like bitter finish. A bottle with a pleasant harmony of clear umami and peachy aroma. We would have liked to serve sashimi of Okayama black sea bream (Chinu) and Okayama's specialty, Kakioko (Okonomiyaki with oysters), but we had take-out Okonomiyaki from a local restaurant. The best pairing with the flavor of black sea bream, which is more robust than sea bream!

Last weekend was a hard schedule with a big on-site job that I spent the past month or so preparing for, and the next day my second daughter's 75th birthday party 🏃. I even dressed my eldest daughter, who is just 5 years old, in a kimono and we visited a local shrine as a family ⛩️ Recently, she has started to tackle dressing by herself, and I realized that she is growing up well 🥰. However, I felt a bit tired from the overloaded schedule, so let's have a refreshment. Here's what I opened this time 🍶 Toyoko-Tennyo no Shizuku Secret Sake Hanpukai 2025 Gold Course ［Glass.] Aromatic aroma, smooth flavor, and a soft mineral aftertaste with a slight bitterness. ［Mokkiri] The aroma is like wet concrete, the mouthfeel is gentle and penetrating, and the taste is pleasantly sharp and lingers gently. The gentle taste and lingering aftertaste are especially soothing after a long day of work or an event. The name "Toyooka" comes from "Toyooka-no-Mikoto" who was worshipped because the sake brewed by a heavenly maiden who descended to earth was effective against all illnesses 🤔. It was the perfect sake to heal my tired body✨.

I was at a liquor store on another occasion, so I decided to take the opportunity to get drunk and review the new sake "Arasugi", which I had only reviewed in the store. In the past, "Tsuneyama" had an image of being dry, but recently it has developed a sweetness that seems to blend in with its natural umami flavor. We drank a lot this time too 😙. The aroma is like a pear, and the soft umami and fruity aroma that flows smoothly through the mouth and nose, followed by a lingering fresh bitterness. ［Mokkiri] A clean aroma, a smooth taste, and a unique aroma that flows smoothly through the nose, followed by a lingering fresh bitterness. What is this? The balance that I have never experienced before, the smooth and fruity flavor, the fruity aroma and the lingering bitterness, the changes are quite drastic, but it's a wonder that it's all in one sake. I got a call from my mother that she was going to have a [Halloween Pizza Party] at my parents' house with my sister and her husband and my nieces and nephews, so I took my family to my parents' house. 🏚️ I brought this with me, which I found at Osaka station the day before, just in time to open it while the kids were dressed up in their Halloween costumes 😙. Takachiyo Flattened Polished Rice Unfiltered Unrefined Nama Shu Orikagarami. First time drinking "Takachiyo" at home🎵You can't go wrong with hiragana "Takachiyo" 🥰. Fruity and sweet aroma, a strong gassy mouthfeel, mellow sweetness and umami, and a sweet and pleasant aftertaste. My mother also praised it as delicious 💃. My father was out with his friends and couldn't drink with us, so I thought it wasn't the type of sake he likes. ［I was going to ask him to help me drink on Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Day, but he's always out and about, so it's not the best timing for me 😅. The third photo was taken at Tangyong-dong, a memorable place where my wife and I had our wedding reception when I visited there on business before the vacation. 📷️ The last time I saw the garden was in early spring, but it's also intoxicating this time of year in the warm sunlight 🍃.

［Returning home to the hometown of my heart (10) ［On the 10th round of drinks at Sake 47 Todofuken, the waitress told us that last order was due, so we made our last call with a dish from the lineup that had stuck in our memory and caught our attention 🍶. Ai no Sato Junmai. I had been curious about this sake ever since I first saw it on the menu, and after ordering it, I was convinced that it was from the same brewery as "Hana-yosu" 😲. The aroma is full of umami, the mouthfeel is juicy and sweet with a hint of pineapple, and the taste has a calm sharpness, a mild aftertaste, and a lingering bitterness on the tongue. A "food sake" made by the Nanyo Shuzo brewery, which also produces "Hana-yosu", it has a fruity flavor, but its sharpness and bitterness would certainly go well with a meal 🥰. For dessert, I ordered the "Tsukimi Beef Stewed Rice" 😋. After that, we walked to Osaka Station to sober up and headed home. This completes the "return to the hometown of my heart" section ✨. I'm drunk! I guess I'll just have to hang on until next year's vacation 🤣.
