Sashimi Junmai Ginjo The cool and calm aroma of rice, the fruity flavor of the first saké, and the clean and crisp taste, the shallow melon-like aroma that passes through the nose, the clean lingering taste, and the slight bitterness at the end. I like this balance 😁. I added "Clam Tempura" using the famous clam for my entrée, which is intoxicating on its own and also intoxicating with the clam soup that comes with it 😋.

Jikin Special Junmai No characteristic aroma, mellow sweetness and umami on the palate, and a pleasantly light aftertaste. Delicious sake that does not feel like an alcoholic beverage. The hotel was a little far from the city, so I took a local train from Hoshikawa Station on the Sangi Railway to Kuwana City, but from a distance you could not tell it was a train station at first 🤣. My in-laws invited me to visit Nagashima Spa Land for my eldest daughter's birthday 😁. The girls were excited to see a large leisure facility for the first time ✨They played around until the evening, and then we had dinner at a restaurant in Kuwana City that I chose for dinner 🍴. I, as the driver, had to quench my thirst with a non-alcoholic drink, and after getting into the inn and getting the kids ready for bed, we set off for a night stroll in Kuwana 🚶. I found a restaurant that caught my attention 😁. The sake lineup lived up to its name and my love of sake ignited, so I ordered the sake comparison set 🤣. This time Ukema Junmai Ginjo Jikin Special Junmai Saku Masanotomo SASHIMA Junmai Ginjo Hachibei Yamahai Junmai Now, in order Uema Junmai Ginjo The aroma of rice is calm and cool, the taste is full and full slowly, and the ginjo aroma is sharp and lingers pleasantly on the palate and nose. Before ordering the sake, we also ordered a local craft beer, "Uema Beer"! It is very refreshing and has a clean, refreshing taste with a sharp aftertaste. It goes very well with fatty dishes such as meat dishes, and is a perfect match with the dishes of the day [Matsusaka beef hormone with onion ponzu] and [chicken mayo]. This is delicious 🍻. The entrée consisted of sashimi, teriyaki conger eel, and sushi that we bought at the supermarket at half price because November 1 is "Sushi Day". By the way, there is an anniversary for November 1 called "Azuki Day" and I wish I had bought the "Fukuwagura" that I tasted the other day 🤣. This one was purchased at Sake Sendo Horiichi ✨.

Hanaboba Fully Ripe Nama Sake The aroma of rice is a little tranquil, the mouthfeel is juicy and delicious, and the aroma is similar to the aroma of maturity, with a lingering bitterness in the throat. I had "Hanaboe Mizuhashi Nigori Nama Sake" when I visited the store before, but the manager must be really into it 😁. The day after the very satisfying "Bishu Competition Grand Tasting," a one-day business trip to Takahama Town for this year's regular business 🚙. I had told my family that I would be home late and that I would finish dinner before going home, but I finished earlier than I had imagined, so I decided to have a light sake dinner after dinner 😁. So we decided to go to Poziya, a ramen shop that has a great selection of sake, and this time we decided to try 5 different kinds of sake ✨. The lineup was Tenmei Junmai Ginjyo Kuro Hot Sake Kyukyu Hi-iri Takachidai Niigata Prefecture Limited Junmai Sake Takejaku Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-Ginjo ICHIHONYOSHI Hatsushibori HANABE MIZUHASHITAKE Nama Sake Hanabatake Hanabatake Kanjuku Nama-zake (I got it as a free gift 😁) Now let's drink them in order 🍶. Tenmei Junmai Ginjo Kuro Hot Sake Quenching Hi-iri Full rice aroma, juicy and slightly sweet flavor, and a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. We served with Yodarechicken, salted roasted ginkgo nuts, and pickled firefly squid. The gingko nuts are especially good with the chicken. ［The Yodarechicken had a very strong aroma, so beer would have been a better choice than sake, but it was absolutely delicious ✨.

［The 2nd Bishu Competition Grand Tasting (15) Finally, we have reached the last of the Bishu Competition reviews 😁. The last one was still Fukui Ai🥰, a local sake 🍶. Echizenmisaki Junmai Daiginjo Sakahomare The aroma of sweet rice that starts lightly, the juicy flavor slowly builds up to a pleasantly sweet aftertaste that finishes with a sharp finish. This completes the list of 15 sakes we received. At the end, I had a chance to talk with the brewer of "Echizen Misaki", and to my surprise, he recognized "Menshu-Ou" as he had read my post on "Sake-no-Wa" 🤣. And he also said he knows the person who presents "Echizen Cape" to Mr. Menshuoh from Fukui (i.e. himself Jayvee) 💦. I never thought such a connection could be made, I want to cherish the [sakénowa no karma] ✨.

Tokachi Junmai Ginjo The aroma of plump rice, the clear mouthfeel with a hint of sweetness, a gentle finish, and a gentle aftertaste. Even after drinking many cups of sake, the taste was so pure and clean that it could only come from the rich natural environment of Hokkaido 😁.

Unnoi Ginjo Koshu Hinichishin It has a golden color reminiscent of whisky, an aged aroma similar to soy sauce, a smooth mouthfeel with a caramel-like sweetness and a unique aged aroma, and a punchy burnt caramel aroma with a light aftertaste. This one had been aged since 1993, and it tasted like it was about to wake up to old sake✨.

［The 2nd Bishu Competition Tasting Returning to the "Jizake Tourism" side again, we had a sake tasting with Fukui's sake. Hanagaki Junmai Daiginjo stored in oak barrels. The aroma of well-aged rice, the smooth mouthfeel, and the strong acidity that contrasts with the full-bodied, crisp, and refreshing aftertaste........ The full-bodied flavor is typical of Hanagaki, but the umami is stronger than the sweetness.
