Last weekend it was chilly without long sleeves, but on May 28th when I'm writing this review, the sun was shining so brightly that I was sweating when I was in the sun 😅.
But the breeze is cool and we are experiencing a refreshing early summer 😙.
Well, on Sunday night when it was still chilly, I enjoyed a glass of this one 🍶.
Sentoku: "Kangazukuri freshly pressed uncured sake".
I bought it at Nikomaru Sake Brewery where bouken-san took me the other day.
First time drinking Miyazaki sake at home✨!
[Glass.]
The aroma of mellow rice flavor and alky aroma, the mouthfeel is 19° alcohol by volume, but it has a smooth flavor and alky sweetness, then it finishes with a refreshing and fresh aftertaste, and a bitter taste lingers in the throat in the freshness.
[Mokkiri.]
Fresh rice and a sweet aroma from the alky alcohol, the mouthfeel is smooth and refreshing, and the sweetness from the alky alcohol gives it a pleasant kick, with a sweet aftertaste at the end.
I tried heating it up, but the sweetness and umami did not expand as much as I expected, and I felt the alcohol content was relatively strong.
It would have been more interesting to try it on the rocks 🤔.
To go with the Miyazaki sake, I took out "Charcoal Roasted Hinadori Chicken and Oyadori Chicken" from "Marudori Honpo Tasaya", which has a smoky aroma and goes well with the fat of the chicken 😋.
The fourth one is "Oil Soba" from a local restaurant "Chuka Soba Sasahara" (🍜).
The thick noodles mixed with coarsely shaved bonito flakes, pepper, thick bamboo shoots, and dashi broth is so good!
Hi Jive 🐦.
That's a very precious Chitoku! I've only posted about drinking it at events💦and I'm impressed that you've matched it with charcoal-grilled jidori 👍✨I'm convinced it's the perfect sake to go with this 😊.
Good evening, Mr. Jaive.
What a rare opportunity to drink at Chitoku-san's house 😲.
I'm sure you're enjoying your sake life in Miyazaki-style 😁✨.
The high alcohol content seems to pack a punch 😋.
Good evening, Mr. Gyve.
As you may know, there is a raw sake for rock called Honsei Rock 😊.
It will be hot from now on, so it's intoxicating to drink it on the rocks 😁.
Good morning, Pon-chan!
I had not had a drink since the offline meeting, but I was guided by bouken-san and was able to achieve the drinking at home 🥰.
I was also able to compare the different specs of the new arrivals at the right time ✨.
Good morning, ma-ki-.
Miyazaki=Chicken Charcoal Roasted immediately rang a bell and a Miyazaki restaurant in my hometown? I got takeout at 🥰.
It was a satisfying punch in an area where shochu is very popular ✨.
The quiet season is over, and it looks like things are going to get hectic again in June💦.
If that's the case, I'll have to make sure I drink while I still can 🤣I'll have a glass of this one I just opened 🍶.
Senzuke Super Dry Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Unrefined Nama Sake
I had a sake swap with [bouken] a while ago😙Thank you very much ✴️
[Glass.]
The aroma of rice with a calm acidity, the gasiness on the tip of the tongue, the smooth and fresh flavor, the smooth and crisp finish, the shallow aftertaste, and the tangy bitterness that lingers on the tip of the tongue.
[Mokkiri.]
The aroma of rice with a clean and delicious flavor, a sense of gas that cannot be felt unless you concentrate on the tip of the tongue, a clear, transparent and soft flavor, a pleasant and refreshing aftertaste, and finally a tangy bitterness similar to that of gas that remains on the tip of the tongue and a mild aroma that escapes through the nose.
The common taste is the royal road taste that is typical of Nada's sake, and although Hyogo Nishiki was a first for me, I can sense the expectations for the next generation from a region that is a major producer of Yamada Nishiki.
I would like to have Kobe Beef for my entrée, but my wallet is tight, so I had to settle for Akiyoshi's Yakitori and a 3-piece Sashimi Platter including Sea bream from Ehime in the same Seto Inland Sea, which is a fresh and soft tasting "Super Dry Nama Sake".
The fourth one is Yamaoka's limited menu item [Special Curry Tonkotsu Ramen] 🍜.
As a curry lover, I couldn't help but enjoy this dish, but the tonkotsu (pork bone) component was a bit strong and wild 🤩I would like to see a bit more curry component ✨.
Hi Gyve, I'm sorry to hear that. I've been looking for a new place to eat 🙂.
I was wondering about the curry tonkotsu. 😍
As I recall, it's finished, right? 😂.
I want to go soon. 😊
Hi Gyve, hello.
I have to drink when I can because I get the impression that you are very hard at work when things are hectic 😁✨.
I'm not sure if I'd like to try the super hot one, but the umami dry one sounds delicious with food 😋.
Hi Gyve 😃My acquaintance said the curry tonkotsu was so good she kept coming back for more 🤣I think many of Yamaokaya's limited time offerings are quite different in taste 🤣.
Hi Jive 🐦.
Super dry! The tanginess at the end sounds delicious for summer😊I haven't had a few yet but I'm curious about the dry ones as there are many flavors I like 😁.
Hi Jive, good evening 😃Good job. You have to drink when you can👍Sensuke, we opened the white koji one the other day 😋 and this ramen sounds delicious too 😋 and I can't imagine what it tastes like, but I'm irresistibly drawn to it 😆.
Mr. Gyve, good evening 🌃
Thank you for drinking it 🙏.
I think it's easy to drink, it's claimed to be super spicy, but it's also gorgeous and easy to drink like Senzuke 😊.
I envy you because I don't have a Yamaoka family nearby 😍.
Good morning, Mr. Jive 😃.
We envy you, Mr. Sensuke! And I'd love to try the super dry 🤗I hope the reverse effect of your drinking binge is peace and quiet at work 😌.
Hello, Hanapin-san ☀☀☀☀.
It was finished at the time of writing this review😅
The soup itself is a little bit pork bone, which is typical of the Yamaoka family, but there were some peculiarities 😋.
Hi ma-ki-!
I appealed to you at the end of the previous year to improve our operations, but this year we will remain in the current structure😅.
I guess it helps that the site is closer and the frequency is likely to decrease ✨.
It's "super spicy" but it goes down surprisingly easy 🥰.
Hi Pon, ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
Oh, it sure looks good with summer sake 🥰.
I think it would go perfectly with summer dishes with spices to match the tangy and bitter taste [chilled tofu with myoga on top] 😋.
Hello, Wakata-san ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
I've heard rumors about Senzuke, and it was very beautiful 🥰.
[The "Curry Tonkotsu" was quite similar to the Cup0doll Curry flavor with the diced potatoes that pooled at the bottom 🤣.
Hello bouken!
I was a bit intimidated by the "super dry" taste, but was surprised by the mild taste when I took a sip 😲.
Thank you very much for another delicious sake 🙇 I heard there is no Yamaoka-ya in Kansai 💦.
I heard there is no Yamaoka in Kansai 💦.
Hi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀!
I think this will suit you two who like to be dry 🥰.
I might give you a rough review full of complaints after a while since I'm already piling up a lot of impossible tasks 🤣.
[The 6th drink 🍶 that I drank at Poziya.
The last drink we had was this one ✨.
Hakkaiyama Junmai Daiginjo Hyokushitsu Storage for 3 years.
Aroma of mellow and sweet rice, soft sweetness on the palate with a gentle aftertaste and a sharp acidity that leads to a gentle spreading sweet aftertaste.
Perfect for shime (Japanese rice wine).
The salt content was taken away by the decomposition of alcohol, so the salt ramen with its gentle flavor and richness was just the right amount of intoxicating!
[Whenever I come to Poziya, I almost always have about 6 drinks, so the number of reviews for this spot has skyrocketed 🤣.
Hi Jive, good evening here too!
Even the ramen to finish off the meal 😲!
It was a fun time of drinking and eating well 😋.
I haven't had Hakkaisan for a long time, so I'll have to give it a taste for the first time in a while 😊.
Good evening, ma-ki-san 🌛.
Since this is a ramen restaurant, ramen is a must 🥰.
I've been a little away from Hakkaisan since it's often available in stores, but it's still delicious when I drink it after a long time ✨.
[The 5th drink at Poziya 🍶.
Next up is a first for me ✨!
ICHIHAKU JUNMAME UZUNIGORI NAMAZAKE (light nigori sake)
The aroma of rice with moist and heavy umami, juicy flavor and dry acidity, and the bitter taste lingering in the throat at the end.
The taste and aroma go well with the spicy gizzard as a side dish.
(I later found out that it was brewed using the facilities of Hata Shuzo of Daijiro, which the brewer of Nakazawa Shuzo studied when he resumed sake brewing, and that it was brewed with the facilities of Hata Shuzo when he resumed in-house production.
When I checked the label carefully, it is true that the "Haku" in "Ichi Haku" does not have a dot.
I gained another piece of knowledge about sake 🤣.
[This is the fourth drink 🍶 that I've had at Poziya.
This one was served after the first 5 drinks were poured ✨.
Takejaku Yamahai Nama-hai Nama-no-Filtered Nama-shu.
The aroma of rice is a little heavy like Yamahai, the mouthfeel is heavy but the taste is clean and crisp, with a sweet aftertaste and a lingering bitterness on the palate.
If the flavor is this robust, I think it would be good with spicy gizzard 🤔.
[The third drink at Poziya 🍶.
Next up was this one that my dad didn't even have in his stock ✨.
Hakuryu Junmai Ginjo Usu Nigori
Soft, sweet, milky rice aroma, strong creamy mouthfeel with a crisp acidity, and a calm, soft aftertaste.
Add more entrée 🍴.
Spicy Gizzard" which was on the recommended menu, deep-fried gizzard with a lot of garlic, garlic sprouts, and curry powder on top, it had a strong aroma, so it was not a good match for sake 😅.
I think it would be a great partner with beer 🍺, so next time I'll have it with beer 🥰.
[The second drink at Poziya.
Next up ✨
Haginotsuru Junmai Ginjo Betsujikomi (Sakura Cat)
Melon-like sweet rice aroma, a slight tangy gassy feeling on the palate, juicy sweetness like a melon, and a sweet aftertaste.
(I could drink it after the ✨Kotatsu Neko.
Taste-wise, I quite like this strain, and the label is as cute as ever 🥰.
Good evening, Pon-chan 🌛.
The expression on the "Hagi no Tsuru Cat Series" is cute in a loose, drunken way 🥰.
I'd like to have all the sake bottles I want to line up for the series comp, but I don't have all the bottles left 🤔.
[After leaving "Fukusai Sakai," I still hadn't eaten enough, so I went to "Poziya," a stable ramen shop nearby where you can drink.
At first, I was going to just eat ramen and leave, but I felt like there was some drunken sake in there, so I ordered a 5-drink drink comparison as usual 🤣.
Well, we stood in line again and had 6 bottles of 5 different kinds of sake, plus a service bottle, just like the recent Sentai heroes 🍶.
Joyo Aizan Unfiltered Uncorked Sake
The aroma is clear, but you can feel the strength of the rice, the mouthfeel is clean and clean, and the taste is sharp, with a shallow aftertaste and a lingering bitterness on the tongue, a little bit like Kyoto sake ✨.
The dish was grilled eggplant, which was posted at the restaurant as a "current recommendation".
The eggplant flavor with the refreshing soup stock and condiments will complement the sake 😋.
Good evening, Mr. Jaive.
Poziya] with a great lineup that no longer surprises me: ⤴️
The drinking comparison that was supposed to be the closing ceremony - that's just quintessential 😲.
I'd like to try Joyo-san, which I haven't tried yet even though I learned about it from an acquaintance a long time ago 😊.
Hi Gyve 😃.
It's quintessential that you enter a restaurant with the intention of eating ramen🍜 and then sense the smell of drunken alcohol👍.
I love grilled eggplant 🍆!
ma-ki-, here we go too 🌛.
[Poziya's sake changes regularly, so I feel like I have to check it out when I stop by 🥰.
Joyo is one of my favorite brands of Kyoto sake, so I highly recommend it ✨.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌛.
[I knew the master of [Poziya] went on a trip to Kochi a while ago, so I had a feeling there would be something interesting to drink 🤣.
The refreshing [grilled eggplant] is perfect for this season!
Hi Gyve 😊
I always envy you, I wish I had such a nice restaurant within my area of activity.
Perfect flow from drinking to finishing ramen 😍.
The drink comparison is also impressive👍
Hi Maru-san!
While many restaurants in my hometown close early, [Poziya] is open a little later, so it's very useful 🥰.
I'm so thankful that there are more and more ramen shops where you can drink ✨.
[Another round of drinks at Fukuzai Sakai.
Tobiroki Special Junmai.
The aroma of ginjo is rich with rice aroma, the fresh flavor goes down your throat smoothly, and the taste is clean and crisp with a refreshing aftertaste.
It is often said that a good sake is like a glass of water 🥰.
I think this sake may be the most [neutral] in me 🤔.
I thought about grabbing some more food, but it was past the last order, so I gave up and left the restaurant to go back to my usual drinking ramen shop for some ramen 😄.
I often come home late due to new work this year, and I can't read the end time of work, so I go to work after having dinner 🚙.
I thought I was done with my work for the day, but the restaurant was still open, so I decided to go to Fukuna Sakai, a restaurant I had visited once before.
It was almost last order, so let's just have a quick beer and a side dish and drink 🍶.
Tanaka Rokuugo Junmai Sake
My first "Tanaka Rokuugo" 🎉!
I thought I had drunk it before, but I mistook it for "Yokoyama Goju" 🤣.
Sweet rice aroma with a little bit of fruity flavor, smooth and clean umami, slight fruity sweetness, soft acidity, gentle and sweet aftertaste, and a little bitterness at the end.
The acidity is very sharp and intoxicating, so it goes well with the hamo tempura we ordered as a side dish, as well as the unotan (sea urchin) from the sashimi platter.
Hi Jive, good evening.
Thanks for working late at night🍀.
I would like to try this Fukuoka sake as much as Wakanami 🎵.
I get the impression that this sake is refreshing and perfect for hot days 😋.
Tempura and sake are also delicious 🤤.
Hello, Pon-chan!
I feel like I've been drinking a little too much since early spring as a reaction to not being able to drink outside for a long time 😅.
I personally think that summer in Kansai is all about "hamo" (pike conger eel), so I order it as soon as I find it 🤣.
Hi ma-ki!
The end of the workday is a bit unpredictable, sometimes it's a grueling late night and sometimes it's just a little overtime if it goes smoothly ✨.
If I finish early, it's a good chance to go out for a drink🤣.
The day before, I had a good lunchtime drinking session, but I still wanted to drink slowly at home, so I opened a bottle of sake again this evening 😄.
I had watched the Fukuoka version of "Asako and Rino's 50,000 yen trip" during the day, so I wanted to eat yakitori or gyoza (Chinese dumplings), and when I went to take out, I was told that Akiyoshi Yakitori was oversubscribed, so I decided to have gyoza (Chinese dumplings) at No. 8 Ramen this time ✨.
I chose this sake 🍶 for the entrée.
Kameizumi Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu Nama Shu Tosa Urara
First "Kameizumi" 🎉First "Kochi Sake" 🎉Drinking at home
I found it at Namba Edion with bouken-san the other day!
[A glass.]
The aroma is like a pineapple before it is fully ripe, the gasiness is so faint that you can't tell if you don't concentrate on drinking, the sweetness and umami like a pineapple with a refreshing acidity, and then it finishes with a fresh minerality that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and in the throat.
[Mokkiri.]
The same pineapple-like rice aroma, a fresh, pineapple-like sweetness and acidity, then a mild aftertaste and a fresh minerality that lingers on the palate.
As the temperature rises, it becomes more like a pineapple.
This is delicious!
[I also bought some additional bonito tataki to give it the feel of Kochi's Hirome Market with its gyoza (dumpling) stalls and such ✨.
Good evening, Mr. Jive!
Congratulations on your first Kamezumi & Kochi sake drinking experience 🎉!
Gyoza and sweet Kamezumi sounds like a great combination 😋.
I'd love to visit the Hirame Market and Sunday Market at least once 😊.
The fourth picture is today's boiled fish set meal🍴🍴 at Meshiya, which my wife and I visited on a lunch date the other day.
On this day, it was [simmered flounder] 😋.
It's important to be thankful every day and to put down roots when doing sake activities ✨.
Hi Gyve 😃
Quite a quintessential sake selection, working backwards from the ate 🤗.
And the 4th one! That's a lot of lunch😍.
Thanks and rooting 🤣 we are two drinkers in our family, so there is a lot of gut searching to see who will say they will drink first 😁.
Congratulations on your first Kameizumi, Jive 🎉!
I see this sake is also CEL-24! I'm suddenly interested 😆 and the fact that you also prepare bonito tataki 👍If it's bitter and sharp, it seems to go well with it: ❣️
Good evening, Mr. Gyve 🌙
Congratulations on your first Kameizumi 🎊㊗️🎉
I also remember that I got this one before and it was as good as pinappo juice 😆Kochi sake is a must with bonito 👍The aroma of grilled straw is aromatic 🤤.
Hi, ma-ki-.
I found it a bit different from "Mikuyo" and "Drunken Whale", but Kochi sake is also delicious 🥰.
I'd love to visit Kochi, including some prefectures I haven't explored yet ✨[Hirome Market] is a must 😄.
Hello, bouken!
After we broke up that day, I was strolling around the Namba area in search of this and [551] 🥰.
CEL-24 was also new to me and it tasted intriguing ✨.
Thanks for sharing 🙇🙇.
Hi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀.
Usually I think of sake, then entrée, but this time it went from entrée to sake 🥰.
[I was thinking [I can have a drink with this] as I ate my lunch at Meshiya because there was so much to choose from 🤣.
Hello, Pon-chan!
It's just the time of year for the first bonito, so it's a good time to get drunk on sake 🥰.
It's quite sweet and delicious with a strong sense of pineapple, so please give it a try ✨.
Hi Kotaro ☀☀☀☀.
I was referring to your review a while ago, thank you 🙇.
I've got some easy-to-find items that came to mind with Kochi Gourmet, but I'd love to pair it with the current hot topic [jangmen] ✨.
[Lunchtime drinking with pay
Now, let's open the "winner" and have another drink 🍶.
I had the same topic with Mr. Maru a while ago, but I was a little hesitant to drink kijoshu because I'm not very good at it, but since the sake I'm aiming for in the future is kijoshu, I chose this one for my last sake 🍶.
Yoshida Kurau Hyakumangoku No Shiro Kijoshu
The aroma of rice with a hint of sweetness is not flashy and calm, and the taste is smooth and light sweetness, then it finishes with a gentle and calm lingering aftertaste.
The back of the bottle label states that it is a modern Yamahai kijoshu, but first impressions are that it is a kijoshu? The first impression is that it tastes so light that you may think it is a kijoshu, but the sweetness is well balanced and calm, and the low alcohol content makes it perfect for daytime drinking.
[I was very satisfied at Koisan Shokudo, so I left the restaurant and walked home feeling the cool evening breeze 🚶.
I thought it would be nice to spend the day off like this once in a while, but it would be a burden on my wife to take me home 🤣.
Gyive, here too 😙.
This kijoshu is easy to drink 😆 I think I can drink this too if it is this kind of kijoshu. Gyve, do you have a target in mind for a kijoshu? I'm interested 😳😁.
Hi Maru-san!
I had another candidate to drink at Koisan Shokudo, but I remembered Maru-san's post the other day and decided to drink it myself 🥰.
They released a new sake called "Hakugakuzen" at the end of last year, but it's quite expensive 💦.
Hi Jive 🐦.
I'm so glad you had a good and paid day!
I remember drinking the same one last year, maybe with a different label but probably the same one, and wishing it was a regular 😊, so I was very happy to see it 🎶.
Pon-chan, here you go too ☀☀☀!
This one matches the drunkenness and lightness of the "Kijoshu" flavor, and it was great for me as a new "Kijoshu" drinker 🥰.
I can see why you'd want to make this a regular ✨
[I left Youkamean Kamesa in a good mood after having a perfect lunchtime drink with pay.
[After leaving Kamessa in a good mood, we walked through a park and a shopping street to get to Koisan Shokudo (Koisan Restaurant), which we have not visited for a while.
I bumped into an old friend of mine who runs a shochu bar near Koisan, so we went in together and had a toast together 🍻.
While saying hello to the other regular drinkers, I looked over the sake menu and found a sake I was interested in, so I decided to have one 🍶.
The winner of the competition, the beautiful sake of victory, the Rebirth, Tank Pressed Junmai Ginjo Gohyakumangoku.
The aroma of rice is calm and gentle, and it goes down smoothly, with a rich and gentle flavor, a hint of sweetness and sharpness, and a gentle aftertaste at the end.
It is a reissue model of another brand from Tanabe Shuzo, which brews "Echizenmisaki". It is a reissue of a champion junmai ginjo that recreates the same structure of special-class sake from the era of the classified system.
I was curious to see about 6 brands of reissued sake including "Kachikatsu" at a liquor store I visited recently 🥰.
Hello, Termat ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
The extraordinary feeling of paid daytime drinking is intoxicating and refreshing 🥰.
I'm curious to see what else you have in store ✨.
Hello, Mr. King of Noodle Sake!
I see that [Termat], who also commented on this, has released a limited edition sake from the Tanabe Shuzo brewery, and would you like me to send it to you along with the reissued "Winner"?
I decided to do something I don't usually do 🍶: Lunchtime drinking ☀🍶.
I got my wife's permission to have a lunchtime drink and spent the morning working out at the gym and bathhouse to get ready for the day 😄.
We went to our regular restaurant, Yugamian Kamenya, a short walk from our house 🚶.
We ordered beer and konjak dengaku before we started the first Soba, and after quenching our thirst, we shifted to Oroshi Soba and Sake to start our meal 🍶.
Tsuneyama Junmai Dry Chokuchi
The aroma of rice is clear and full, the mouthfeel is smooth and clear, the flavor is clean and crisp, and there is a refreshing aftertaste and a lingering bitterness at the end.
I forget who said it, but it is the embodiment of the phrase "Fukui's sake is rich in flavor". The spiciness of the refreshing "oroshi-soba" goes well with the mellow flavor of "Tsuneyama".
Some restaurants in Fukui serve oroshi-soba separately from the broth, as shown in the fourth picture, so visitors to Fukui eat it dipped in the broth like mori-soba, while local residents basically eat it bukkake style, as shown in the first picture 😄.
I'm starting to feel drunk, so I'm going to walk a little more and go to the "Hashigo-zake" (lunchtime drinking) 🤣.
Hi, Gyve!
I'm not sure what to expect from a lunchtime drink, but it sounds like a situation where both fun and deliciousness would be doubled 🎵.
I see... I'll have to pour it over the separate servings 😲.
I will do that when I visit Fukui 😁.
Hi Jive 😃.
Paid daytime drinking 🤗 is something to be excited about ❣️ I also learned how to eat grated soba noodles in Fukui 📚They look delicious 😆Hashigozake is fun too 👍Enjoy your paid day to the fullest 😘.
Hi Gyve 😃.
A paid lunchtime drink is a special occasion 😆.
And soba and sake is the best 🥰.
Bukkake style, I'll keep that in mind so that when I go to Fukui, I don't have to worry about it 😆.
Hi Gyve 😊
Paid daytime drinking, isn't it great👍
I read in some izakaya that "life is great when you can drink from noon" 📝.
Oroshi soba and dry Fukui sake, that's a very typical start for you, Gyve-san!
Good morning, Gyve 😊.
I sometimes have a lunchtime drink too, but it's awesome 🤣.
Plus soba and sake are great too 🤩.
Tsuneyama + grated soba, I'm intrigued!
Hi Gyve 😃.
I like the daytime drink. ☺️
I used to be at a ryokan in front of Ashihara Onsen station for local construction and used to go to a Chinese restaurant in front of the station.
I used to go to a Chinese restaurant in front of the station.
I remember there was a mysterious menu called "Oroshi Chuka Soba" and it was served with bukkake 😆.
I remember that it was bukkake 😆.
Hi ma-ki-!
It was my first unscheduled pay in about 10 years since the head of my department changed in April this year to someone who is more proactive about paid work 🤣.
It may be offered over the beginning, but just for reference 🥰.
Hi, HinaHanaMama!
Many people go out to eat "oroshi soba" (buckwheat noodles with grated radish) in Fukui because the thickness of the noodles and the taste and spiciness of the grated radish soup vary depending on the restaurant 🥰.
Some stores even serve it with dashi broth ✨.
Hello, Hiro-san!
When I have a lunchtime drink in my hometown, I often have "Soba-nomi" because there is a drunken Soba-nomi restaurant nearby 🥰.
I sometimes see tourists and business travelers dipping their buckwheat noodles in the broth from a buckwheat noodle cup, just for reference 😄.
Hi Maru!
I love the [daytime drinking] that makes a lucky vacation even more extraordinary 🥰.
I'm mad at my wife for allowing me to do this, but I'm always trying to put in the roots 🤣.
Hello, Takashi!
Drinking alcohol in the light of day is very intoxicating 🥰.
I think it might be healthy in a way since I don't drink too much 🤣.
I recommend "Tsuneyama" and Fukui soba noodles ✨.
Hi Jay & Nobby!
I started pairing Soba with Sake after your review, so it was very helpful for me at the time 🥰.
We haven't had a chance to comment yet, but thank you for trying Tsuneyama 🙇.
Hello, 10ZG-STQ!
Were you involved in the construction of the Ashihara-Onsen station building when the Hokuriku Shinkansen started service in Fukui?
I'm not a builder myself, but I regularly entered the station building before it was completed, so we might have crossed paths 😲.
Mr. Gyve, unfortunately, it is not a bullet train.
It was a power plant for a paper company behind the Ashihara-onsen station.
It was built around 1994, so it was more than 30 years ago 😅.
I'm sorry to hear that😅.
My boss used to go to a grated buckwheat noodle shop in Mikuni
I used to go to the grated buckwheat noodle shop in Mikuni.
Good morning, Mr. Gyve 😊.
I see you are on a paid vacation for a lunchtime drink! The Tsuneyama and grated buckwheat noodles from 🍺 after a solid workout sounds delicious. Yes, the prefectural style is bukkake 😊 You can easily tell if you are a prefectural resident or an out-of-towner 😊.
Good morning, 10ZG-STQ!
I see 💡You were right 😄.
I think it must have had such an impact on you that you remember it even though it was more than 30 years ago ✨.
Please visit Fukui again if you have a chance🙇.
Good morning, Ao!
This extraordinary feeling is the best ✨
The more I see soba restaurants in front of train stations, the more I see people soaking their soba in broth, so I feel that the common way to eat soba outside of the prefecture is the "morisoba" way 🤣.
May 13 was the night of the May full moon [Flower Moon] 🌕️🌸
Due to work-related reasons, I had to postpone my meeting by one day, so let's have our regular "moon-viewing sake" tonight 🍶🌝.
I was lucky enough to get the sake I was going to open this time a while ago, and after thinking about when to open it, I decided to coincide it with the "Flower Moon" and waited for this day to come 🤣.
Nabeshima Junmai Ginjo Blossom Moon
The first "Nabeshima Moon Series" for home drinking 🎉.
[The glass is a floral glass.]
Floral rice aroma like honey of flowers, a touch of gas on the tip of the tongue, a gorgeous sweetness, and a bitter taste in the back of the throat, followed by a fresh and sweet aftertaste.
[Mokkiri.]
The aroma of rice is weaker than that of a glass, but it is reminiscent of the honey of flowers, and the mouthfeel has a long, pleasantly sweet aftertaste.
The taste of happiness and lingering aftertaste spread in the mouth with each sip, and the finish is fresh and fresh.
This is the best bottle to drink while slowly looking up at the moon. Tonight, you can see the moon drunk even from inside the room!
Serve with seasonal Shizuoka bonito tataki, local Echizen horse mackerel sashimi, or leftover gari (pickled ginger) at 👍️, or even better with Fukui's famous Habutae walnuts (a famous sweet in Fukui).
Good evening, Gyve 🦉.
It's a perfect drink! I can feel you are chewing on your happiness 😆👍I'd love to have a glass of this. ❣️
The 4th one, I really like the tsukimi sake 😉.
Good evening, Jive 🌕.
As Pon, you are right, both the name and the taste are perfect to enjoy while gazing at the moon in May 🥳🌸Nabe-sama, the happiness really seeps through with every sip ✨Lovely photos as always🙌!
Good evening, Jive😄.
Another lovely moonshine 🌕.
Enjoying the happiness from the deliciousness of Nabeshima is truly a blissful moment 🥰The moon is really beautiful even from inside the room 🤩I wish I could drink as emotionally as you do, Jive 💕.
Hi Jive, good evening.
That's a perfect moonshine 🌕️🍶
Blossoms Moon was my first Nabe-sama and I recall how shocking it was ✨😋.
I'm a fish lover and I love the snacks too 🤤.
Hi Gyve, good evening 🌕.
I love tsukimi sake 😍 I've never had Nabeshima yet, I'd love to try it 😋 I'm glad you enjoyed the "Haniu walnut" bearing too 😊 Manju and Japanese go well together 🤣.
Good morning, Jive 😃.
Flower Moon🌸🌕I had never heard of it before: ☺️
Exactly perfect for this drink😊.
The view of the moon and the cup is also intoxicating🥰.
I can feel Gyve's heart is in full bloom as she looks at the moon and sips her cup 😁.
Hi Jive, good evening 🌆.
I can feel how addicted you are 🥹.
I'm excited just thinking about when I'll be able to see you after I bring you here 😀.
Next up is Summer Moon 🌙😉.
Hi, Pon-chan!
The aromatic [glass] and the long-lasting [mottokiri], both were hard to throw away 🥰.
I also took a picture of the moon before drinking it, but I posted it in this form because I could just see the moon when I sat at the counter ✨.
Hello Kotaro-san!
The release is in early spring, so the brewery's assumption might be [cherry blossoms] blooming, but I've been putting it down for a long time because this season is more like a blaze of glory 🥰.
I'm preparing a photo of the story to go along with the post ✨.
Hi, hina-hana-mama!
It's fun to drink with others, but when you drink alone, you can choose your own atmosphere, so it's fun to think of different ideas 🥰.
This is how I feel, though I also watch animated movies on my tablet outside of the picture angle 🤣.
Hello, Mr. Maa!
Nabeshima is a very popular sake and there are a lot of different series available, so it's fun to try them if you can find them 🥰.
I've put a bit of effort into this this year, and I'm thinking of going after Japanese sweets✕sake✨.
Hi Aladdin!
I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed the sake.
I'm glad to hear that the timing of the drink and the moonrise coincided so well because I started drinking it so late 😄.
Hi @Mizuhashi!
I was surprised to see that we were looking at the same moon 🤣 I'd like to catch up on the [Moon] series.
[I'm going to go to the stores so I can complete the Moon series on my own ✨.
Hi ma-ki-!
Sorry for the back and forth comment 🙇🙇.
I started with "Nabeshima Purple Label" and then learned about "Moon" series, so I've been looking for it for a long time 🥰.
I found the drunken fish on this day 😋.
Last weekend, I had another day off, so I took the kids to a park a little ways away.
We went to Hamanako Pal Pal on GW, but I was surprised to find that there were surprisingly few things for both of us to play together, such as playground equipment that neither of us can play on and equipment that only my older daughter can play on 😲.
My birthday is coming up in the summer, so I think there will be more things for both of us to play together next time 🥰.
Now, after putting the kids to bed, let's have a drink tonight 🍶.
Kurosawa Namahashi, Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai GOLD
[Glass.]
Aroma of mellow rice with a hint of sake yeast, penetrating umami with a clean mouthfeel, soft acidity and a firm bitterness in the finish.
[Mokkiri.]
Slightly woody aroma like Japanese cypress, smooth umami with a clean mouthfeel, a hint of sweetness and acidity, and a firm bitterness on the finish.
The sake is refreshing, yet accented by a strong bitterness in the aftertaste, a taste I had never experienced before. The curiosity of "What's this sake?
I tried heating up the sake, which I saw on SNS, but the bitter part of the taste was softened and turned into sweetness, and I felt a slightly tangy, savory, nutty taste, which was also delicious.
The entrée is "Isoage" and "Kakinoha Sushi" that I bought at Taga SA on the way back from the park 🍴.
The fourth one is "Egg Hunt" from Napoli, a pasta restaurant in Fukui City that specializes in pasta with starchy sauce 🍝.
I sometimes feel like eating it 🥰.
Good evening, Mr. Jive.
I've never seen Mr. Kurosawa outside of Sakewa, but I've seen a sake from Nagano Prefecture that [what's this sake? I'm curious to know what it's like 😁✨✨.
I think it would be nice to change the taste by heating up the sake 😋.
Good evening, Jive 🤗.
Thanks for your expedition from Shizuoka to Fukui 🚗! I'm sure the kids had a great time 🤗☺️☺️☺️. The sake looks delicious, but I'm sure the specialties of each prefecture will enhance it even more!
Hi Gyve 😃
I see 🧐I think there was a playground for different age groups...it was a distant memory 😌.
I'd love to taste 😋 and feel Mr. Kurosawa's natural sake flavor 😙.
Hi Gyve 🐦.
I think I saw some Kurosawa in Shinshu, but there are so many brands anyway 💦 I can drink even the ones I don't know, that's the good thing about hanpukai!
I'll check out your snacks next time I'm in SA since it's always something sweet 😁.
Good evening, ma-ki🌛.
The taste nuance of this sake was similar to that of a distilled spirit [gin] ✨.
I felt that there are many variations of Nagano sake 🥰.
Good evening, Heppoko-san 🌛.
I went to Toyohashi city in Aichi prefecture for work about 2 years ago, but it's still a long way 😅I was tired from driving 😮💨
I didn't think I would have enough time to buy some food if I had to go back to my hometown, so I made it quick 🥰.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌛.
I wrote "playground equipment" for the sake of character count, but it's actually an attraction 🎡.
There are severe height and age restrictions 😅.
It was one that made me feel the rich nature of Nagano 🥰.
Good evening, Pon-chan 🌛.
When you go to a well-known liquor store in Shinshu, you will be overwhelmed by the variety of brands they have 🤣.
I'm not a fan of the taste system, but on the other hand, it's an intoxicating experience to be able to drink bottles that I wouldn't have gone through myself ✨.
Back to the timeline [Drinking in Hamamatsu] extra edition (2)
[After leaving Hamamatsu Tanto, we wander down the main streets of Hamamatsu's drinking district, Sakanamachi-dori and Kajicho-dori, and even though it's after midnight, the streets are packed with people in the heat of the first day of the festival.
I was about to go back to the hotel when I found a bar that was open until 9am, so I got sucked in 🤣.
I finally found a bottle of Shizuoka Beer, a limited edition of Sapporo Beer Shizuoka Factory, at the Japanese style bar Kuro and had a glass 🍺!
What's wrong with that? [It has a similar flavor to Akahoshi with a hint of sweetness and lightness, it's delicious 😋.
Okay, now that I'm in the mood, I decided to get a glass of sake as well, so I chose from the seasonal selections on the blackboard and ordered my final drink!
Udejo Waku Waku Ginjo-Ginjo-Harajuku Nama Sake
Fruity and sweet rice aroma, sweet taste like an apple with honey, and a sweet aftertaste.
Shockingly delicious taste, even after a lot of drinking, this is delicious ✨.
The brewery's introduction reads
This is a ginjo brewed with Shizuoka-grown sake rice, utilizing the know-how of the National New Sake Council!
It was so good that I tried to find some the next day for a short time but couldn't get it, so I got a case of "Shizuoka Mugishu" to take home instead 🤣.
BBQ at my parents' house in GW⑤.
Here is the last one I opened.
Kikuhime Normal Sake.
It has a strong umami, a woody aroma with a hint of maturity, a strong umami with a clean mouthfeel and a sharp taste, a little sweetness, and a woody aroma with a sharp taste.
Well, I drank a lot of sake this GW🥰.
We don't have a Bon Festival or New Year's, so I wish we could drink this much alcohol every GW ✨.
Now I have a lot of space in my cellar 🤣.
BBQ at my parents' house on GW
After opening two four-packs of bottles, it was time for the BBQ to start the closing dish of yakisoba and other dishes.
I got out my stock of one-cup sake and drank it while chatting with my dad about nothing else.
Hayaseura Special Junmai Sake-Noten HAYASHI Limited Brewing
The aroma of rice with a hint of sweetness, the mouthfeel is clean and refreshing, and the finish is slightly sweet with a refreshing aftertaste.
As the title says, this is a private brand of Sake-no-Ten Hayashi, which is one of the best breweries in the area in terms of sake selection, and Miyake Hikoemon Shuzo, which brews "Hayaseura".
BBQ at my parents' house on GW (3)
After drinking up all the "Love Run", my father told me to bring my favorite liquor from the cellar to get drunk, so I rummaged through the cellar 🧐.
I opened a bottle of "Hakuryu" from a selection of 5 different specs of Hakuryu, probably because I had visited Yoshida Sake Brewery at the end of April.
Hakuryu Yoshimine Kura Junmai Ginjyo Shiboritate Nama Nama Sake.
The aroma of rice is clean and beautiful, the mouthfeel is clear and clear, and the taste is clear and clear, with a hint of sweetness, and then it finishes with a refreshingly cool aftertaste.
Yoshiminegura" is the name of the new brewery, which is a joint venture between Yoshida Shuzo and a Hong Kong company. In addition to the regular brewing, the Yoshiminegura series is mainly for export to Hong Kong, and can only be purchased in Japan at the direct sales shop in the facility.
Although the direction is different from that of the previously opened "Love Run," I feel that the brewery is taking on the challenge of developing new sales channels 🥰.
By the way, the existing brewery is now called "Kitajima Brewery" and still brews the regular "Hakuryu" series ✨.
Actually, I've reached 100 posts on Fukui Sake this time 🎉!
Hi, Jive!
The sake is going down well at this fun BBQ 😋.
And speaking of your father, he's a Hakuryu 😁✨.
Congrats on your 100 posts of Fukui Prefecture sake 🎉!
You have a quintessential local love 🥰.
Hello again, ma-ki-chan!
I was at the brewery's "Kurabiraki" and there was a lineup of rare limited edition Hakuryu sake, so I had a hard time deciding which one to drink 🥰.
I was aiming for "Hakugakusen" in the Fukui Sake 100, but I had to let it go because it seemed to be clogging up my post!
Hey Gyve, I'm with you 😃.
Congratulations on your 100th bottle of Fukui sake at last ㊗️ 🎉You have piled up 🥹.
For us, Hakuryu is the model of "Hiyoroshi-kun", the autumn rise label 😄I hope to drink it this year 🤗.
Jay & Nobby, good evening here too 🌛.
I was adjusting my Fukui Sake 100 to be "Hakugakusen", but it was getting tough, so I had to let it go 🤣.
I hope to see "Hiyoroshi-kun" in good health again ✨.
Good evening, Mr. Jive 🍶🍶.
Congratulations on your 100th 🍶 bottle of Fukui 🥳🎉.
I can feel your love for Fukui from your review 💖😁.
I'm very curious to know what's in your father's cellar 🤔.
