Like the recent Koei Kiku Merry Crescent, I try to be on time for event sake, even if I am often late drinking seasonal sake.
I found Tachichiyo's Christmas to be one of the most sour sakes I have ever had. This sourness goes well with Christmas dinner and makes it easy to drink too much.
Of course, it is not only sour, but also sweet and umami with a fruity apple nuance that is delicious enough to be enjoyed on its own.
Like the Halloween label, the Christmas label will unfortunately be discontinued this year.
