This was the third bottle we drank on New Year's Day. We saved the Hakurakusei we had brought for another time and opened a bottle of Okutanba provided by my sister and her husband, as we did last year. It is dry but slightly fruity and easy to drink. It goes well with strong flavored dishes. Thank you very much.

I bought it by weight the day after the Hankai Train Off-line Meeting. I took this opportunity to buy it because Miyakotsuru's draft sake is rarely distributed. This is an annex of a store in Fushimi that sells all of Fushimi's sake in Nihonbashi, Osaka. I wonder if the sake brewers' association is involved? The bottles come in various sizes and labels, and you buy the bottle you want and pour it. You pour the sake yourself, but since I was right on the 300 ml mark, I received a sake cup as a "Pitari" prize. The taste is melon-like with a clean mouthfeel. The long, thin and extended acidity is impressive. It is a little light and has a sweet and spicy flavor. After about a week, the flavor seems to have opened up, or rather, the flavor profile has become more defined.

We attended a year-end party for parents of my second son's high school club! Although there are some rank restrictions, we enjoyed drinking all the sake we could drink 😆. The 2nd glass Wadarai Dry Junmai This is also a brand I've never had before! Although it is dry, it is surprisingly fruity! It has a clean and crisp taste, so it went in easily.

Purchase of a warehouse This is the fourth brewery on a tour of four breweries in the Daisen area of Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. The last one was sold directly to the public. It was served in a wine glass, as it was awarded the gold medal in the "2024 Wineglass Sake Award". When this is written, my impression is pulled and I feel it is like white wine. But it was delicious with a grape-like sweetness. Only one brewery sells directly to the public. The other day, my dad and I went to my parents' house for a long time. Morinori's Nama Sake. I think the sake here tastes better on draft than on fire-roasted. It has a fairly vigorous effervescence and a strong cloudiness. The aroma is pineapple, sweet aroma of koji and lactic acidity. Refreshing. There is a slight shwash, mainly sweetness and acidity, but there is also a mineral-like backbone.
