Finally, I got over my dislike of Nagurayama.
The "white wine-like" description was only half of the story, but this was indeed delicious, crisp and fruity, just like a white wine.

This usually crowded restaurant was also empty at the counter on Monday. I had no choice but to go. I asked a familiar lady what she recommended, and she told me about the Summer Pilgrimage series. There are seven brands in Japan, and one of them is Nagurayama. I had had it before, but it was too subtle for my taste. It was sweet and tasty, and easy to drink. It was refreshing. I will remember the "Summer Pilgrimage Sake Series.
The rice used is Yumeko (from Fukushima Prefecture) and Yamadanishiki (from Okayama Prefecture).
It's a "drunken whale" I've never seen before. ❗️ when I bought it.
I bought it thinking it was a "Mt. Nagurayama" (⁉️)
I didn't notice it until I was about to open the bottle.
But still, why a whale ⁉️ for Aizu sake?
It is a refreshing and well-balanced summer sake with little acidity and bitterness.
Junmai Ginjyo Code-N Nama-zume Nagaru
This is the first time for me to drink it, but it has a pleasantly elegant sweetness and a gorgeous, fresh flavor.
