I was stuck in the middle of a typhoon during the Bon Festival, so I had a few drinks at home in desperation!
The first bottle was the moon after the rain 🌙*P. I've been wanting to drink it for a while, but haven't gotten around to buying it... I think I bought this one at Sukuimasa.
If I had gone a week later, my points would have expired. 😶🌫️
The taste is not fruity, but it is like a junmai daiginjo with a delicious rice flavor!

Corona was especially spicy and I honestly licked it 💦.
I recovered and had a bottle at my parents' house for rehab!

I didn't feel it was too dry or anything, a bit light bodied overall? I also had a light grilled sweetfish with salt as a side dish!

After my trip to Miyazaki, I went to Tokyo.
Although I say Tokyo, I went to Hikawa Shrine, the first shrine in Musashikuni, located in Omiya Station.
It is said to be a blessing for matchmaking and healing illnesses. 🙏🏾
I really wanted to search for the sake dedicated to the shrine, but I didn't have that much time... Musashikuni must include Tokyo! So I decided on Edo Kaikyo!
The taste... when I opened the bottle, it was a little gassy and sweet, but not too sweet.
On the second day...it tasted like melon🍈!
The price is 2,200 yen, so not cheap, but in an OK price range 👌

Last week on my trip to Miyazaki, I went to Miyano Shrine, the first shrine in Hyuga Province!
The priest was kind, and the cicadas were already singing 😂.
There was a tasting corner in the hotel's public bath, and Sentoku-san had a sip there 😋, so I bought some of Sentoku-san's choice, which looked a bit unusual.
Miyaichi (Gouwan)
I have a vague recollection that it was made in collaboration with the liquor store where I bought it... It tastes like Junmai-shu (pure rice sake) with a firm and fluffy sweetness of rice 🌾 It is easy to drink, not too rich and not too heavy.

It seems to be gaining momentum lately, and I didn't expect to find a store that carries it in Tokyo 🫢.
I didn't think there was even a store in Tokyo that carried it ↪o_FAE2↩.
I had a preconceived notion that it might be dry because of its connection with Gekkeikan, but it was well-balanced, fluffy and sweet 😋.
The Kyoto yeast used in this sake was the same yeast used in Sakesupu. The Kyoto yeast used this time was the same yeast used in SAKESPU. I had a similar impression at that time, with a gorgeous aroma somewhere between fruit and rice.
Anyway, it is delicious! I recommend this Kyoto sake as a souvenir - thank you!

After returning the rental car, I wandered around until my flight home and found a delicious yakitori place for lunch 🤤.
I ordered the 7-piece course and ordered a bottle of Jyuukagohi, which I'd never had before!

This brand has flowers on it🌸 Junmai Ginjo has lilies on it.
The color is clear and the aroma is quite ginjo.
The taste is fruity, sweet and slightly gassy.
The sweetness is more like honey than fruit, perhaps due to the label.
It is like Sentori Mukonin without the sweetness and juiciness.
It is a little less punchy than my strike zone!
It's a type I haven't encountered very often before, but it's delicious!

We brought this brand to a BBQ outside and it was easy to talk about!
This sake was purchased in Kagoshima and is a little out of fashion for the time of year, but it can't be helped 😭.

I had been looking forward to this one for a long time because it is also rare to find.
