Rice: Gin-no-sato produced in Sarukuro Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 15 We received this sake from Kitakyushu 💕 The sake is called Saruhami, named after a district in Kitakyushu City, and is produced by the Mizokami Sake Brewery. It has a refreshing sweetness and is not too much like a junmai sake, in a good way. The fruity sweetness like strawberry or melon comes and then fades away! After 3 days, the sweetness of the rice became stronger, but the lingering feeling that disappears was still there. Thank you very much!

Personal preference 3.8/5 Rice: Domaine Sakura, Yamadanishiki Rice polishing ratio 40 Alcohol content 15 Here is the sake I drank a while ago! Senkou Ippou purchased at Kadoya-san! I actually bought this sake as a housewarming gift for a friend... but the BBQ sauce I bought at Costco spilled on the label😭It wasn't cool, so I had it myself! The taste was more elegant than Sentori's solid label, with a more subdued sweetness. It tasted sweet like a peach 🍑 and the lingering bitter gasiness tasted like a pear 🍐! It's a premium series, but not that expensive, so it might be just right for a small celebration🎶. Thanks for the treat 😋.

It was fun to see you all after a long time and to talk about various kinds of sake 🎶. Once again, thank you, Umaisan! As usual, I forgot to write down the drinks from that time lol I'd like to buy Honey Drop if I see it 💕︎ I'll report back on the 00 again in late March ✨. Once again, I have a sake post! January products from Kadoya Sake Shop's hanpukai 🎉. I drank this quite a while ago, so I'll review it based on my notes ✨. The taste was clean and the assertiveness of the flavor was moderate in a good way, making it an easy drinker! This is my first time to try Kikunosato's Ona, and although it is often sold in stores with Kadoya's seal of approval, I never picked it up because of the lineup. (I wondered if I could buy it anytime...) It was so good that I would like to try other kinds next time I stop by! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Personal preference 3.6/5.0 Ingredients: Rice, Rice malted rice (Gunma Prefecture) Rice polishing ratio 90 Alcohol content 15 Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour Vol. 22 I went to Ichinomiya on my trip to Kusatsu Onsen (hot spring) the week before last ⛩. Thanks to my friend who went along with my selfishness 🙏. Ichinomiya Ichinomiya Nukusa Shrine (一ノ宮 Ichinomiya Nukusa Shrine) in Ueno-no-kuni. I can't read this one. The shrine is located at the end of a flight of stairs from the torii gate, which is unusual for a shrine. This time, I bought this bottle at the Anzai Sake Shop in Kusatsu. Initials "A A collaboration with Tsuchida Sake Shop This is definitely inspired by the initials "0", isn't it? As I recall, that's Gunma, isn't it? I don't know much about cars at all, but I used to listen to SEB a lot. That's why I decided to enjoy it while listening to [wings of fire] 🎶. The aroma is quite strong and the color is clear. The rice polishing ratio is 90%, so the bitter taste is almost macho, and the sweetness of the rice comes later. It is difficult to say it is dry. Pairing with a strong flavored accompaniment seems like a good idea! I'd like to see the pass next time, of course I'm not a runner 💦. It was a treat 😋.

Personal preference 3.6/5 Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol content 15 A bottle given to me as a travel souvenir from my parents: ✈️ I told them I was jealous of their trip to Hokkaido, but they said, "Who are you to say that? I told him I was jealous of his trip to Hokkaido. Sushi Sake 〜I've never bought sake specifically for sushi before ✨I'm terrible at pairing sake with sushi💦I've finally figured it out recently! So I prepared the assorted sashimi and oysters steamed with sake, and then it was time to eat. I see what you mean! That was my first impression! The taste is clean, sharp, and slightly dry, but there is almost no aftertaste, and it disappears quickly after drinking. It is dry and easy to drink without disturbing the taste of the fish, and it is as if your mouth is being reset for the next fish! For me personally, I would have enjoyed it more if there was more of a lingering taste, but I learned a lot about pairing! Thank you for the meal 😋.

Personal preference 3.5/5 Rice: Tsuyahime Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol percentage 16 Sake meter degree +1 Good morning. ☀️ My fridge is in a mess with all the gifts from friends and the hanpukai 💦13 4-gou bottles is not the level of a single person living alone! I need to drink it soon 😮. This time I drank Kamikigen by Sakata Sake Brewery! This sake is the third in the diagonal Kamikigen series and is made from rice! Tsuyahime itself is a frequent recipient of my hometown tax ✌️ The taste is dry, not sweet and juicy at first. The taste is not fruity, but sweeter than rice 🌾. Towards the end, the taste is sour! I'm surprised because I haven't experienced sourness in sake very often! I made taro stew with the seasonings I bought locally! It tasted better than frozen taro when prepared by myself... The recent mild winter wiped out all the tree ice... it was a good thing we went during that time 😭 thank you for the food 😋.

Personal preference 3.9/5 Ingredient rice: Mirai Sake Rice polishing ratio 53 Alcohol content 16 January product of Kadoya Sake Shop's hanpukai 🎉 This is the first time for us to have Yumeshin Sake Brewery's sake. This is my first time to try Yumeshin Shuzo's sake! It is a fresh and juicy sake! I could drink a whole bottle of this and gobble it up! It has a gassy, berry-like impression that leans more towards lychee! I'm sorry I couldn't get the flavor profile of Sake Mirai 💦. This is my first Sake Mirai from that brewery, but I've heard other breweries endorse it, so I'd like to try it if I get the chance: ☺️ Thank you for the treat!

Personal preference 3.5/5 Rice: Yamadanishiki Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 15 Kusatsu Onsen♨️ It took us 6 hours to get here from Kansai💦. It's better to have a car! We got skunk cabbage at the inn! I haven't had skunk cabbage since the last time I had it at a bar! It has the impression of sweetness from the rice, but with bitterness and spiciness next to it. It's not the type of sake that you go for in a big gulp, but it's just right as a mid-meal drink ✨. It's like a pear... I heard that it is like pear... but I don't feel the fruity taste so much, I think it is more like rice. It was much easier to drink than last time! Maybe it's because it's been in a bottle for a long time? I realized that even the same sake tastes different depending on the management and time of year... Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Personal preference 3.5/5 Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 14 I just traveled to Gunma the other day 🚎. Today we had sukiyaki in Shimonita 🍲. We had sukiyaki with pork here (^🐽^). I had Myogisan special honjozo to go with my rice! It was mild, full of sweetness of rice, and had no peculiar taste! It was a little dry. Anyway, the sukiyaki leeks and meat were delicious! Thank you for the meal 🙏.

My friend bought me a bottle 🚗³₃ on a trip. It's not really a thousand-dollar bottle, but for some reason it wouldn't accept manual entry 😭. It is a standard type of sake with some dryness, sweetness and umami from the rice, but it is easy to drink and you don't feel the alcohol! Overall, the taste is strong, so I had it with gingerbread with meat 🐷Thanks for the meal!

Personal preference 3.8/5 Rice: Yuki Megami Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol 16%. Sake meter degree -2 Acidity 1.5 I'm going to release the sake I bought in Yamagata: ✌️ I opened a bottle of Tatenogawa while soaking up the memories of snowboarding. I opened a bottle of Tatenogawa, soaking in the memories of I used to buy Tatenogawa as Hiyoroshi sake. The red bottle was stylish and I was holding it in my hand! The store owner said it was refreshing and easy to drink! When I opened it... Yes, it is delicious! It doesn't have a dry taste at all, but rather a refreshingly sweet taste that is easy to drink! It doesn't have a Junmai Daiginjo feel to it, and has a strong unfiltered Nama-genjo-style flavor. Although it is said to be a pure sake, the gassiness is moderate, and it really gives an image of being in the middle of the range! My friend was so pleased that she finished the whole bottle in one day! It was a bit pricey, but the taste was worth it! They wanted fish for the entrée, so I prepared sushi from the supermarket 🍣. Thank you very much for the food 🙏!

Personal preference 3.6/5 Ingredient rice: Hanabukiyuki Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol content 15 I went to my parents' house to give them a souvenir from Yamagata. I got the sake that was available at that time. ✌️ Hato Masamune's Special Junmai Blue Label The aroma is modest ✨The taste is refreshing with a fruity sweetness in the second half, but it's also quite gentle! I was told that it is best to drink it with a glass of wine! It is perfect as a food sake as it does not interfere with the taste of rice. Extra We had a cheesecake from Matsu no Tsukasa. It was delicious with a slight taste of sakekasu (sake lees)! As expected, the bowl became my parents' chocolate!

Personal preference 4.0/5.0 Ingredient rice: Yamadanishiki produced in Tojo, Hyogo Prefecture Alcohol content 12 Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour Vol. 21 We visited Ichinomiya Shrine a lot⛩. But I realized that I haven't posted about Kyoto yet 💦. I went to Kamigamo Shrine for Hatsumode (New Year's visit) as well! Yamashiro-no-kuni Ichinomiya Kamo-betsurai-jinja Shrine I love the path from the first torii gate to the second one! I heard that this year is the year of the dragon and this shrine is a power spot! I also got a good omikuji (fortune). Yamashiro means Kyoto sake! So far I've had my favorite Nichinichi-san in Kyoto! It has less alcohol and less gas than the last time I drank it, and it has a gentle sweetness 😮. It tastes almost like cherry or berry with a hint of sourness! I felt it was more delicious than the last time I drank it! The entrée was Morika's thick fried tofu grilled on a teppan: ✌️ Thank you very much for the meal 🙏!

Personal preference 3.7/5 Ingredient Rice Yamadanishiki Alcohol content 15 I had another bottle at Denshichi! Kuro-rope of Jyushidai ☺️ There were only two kinds of Jyushidai that day, and I was about to quit drinking it because of its high price, but my girlfriend said to me I was about to quit but my girlfriend said "you should drink it since you came here on a good opportunity" 😭 I ordered it 😭 It's delicious with a gentle sweetness like a mango, which is typical of Jyushiyo! The dishes also had a gentle miso taste that was just right! The angel prawns are also very rich and make the sake go down 🎶! As the temperature settled down, the sweetness of the rice and the slightly dry taste asserted itself! It is only available in the prefecture, so I was satisfied to be able to enjoy it! Thank you very much for the sake!

Personal preference 3.8/5 Rice: Domestic rice Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol percentage 15 I was on a trip to Yamagata this past Saturday and Sunday: ✈️ It was warm and cold this year, so there wasn't much snow... I was worried about being able to go snowboarding (although I ended up enjoying it as much as I could)... On the first day, we walked around the station area and went to Denshichi. They serve only courses and have a huge variety of sake ✨. The first sake I had was Asahitaka! Since I came all the way to Yamagata! ✌️ It's less fruity than the Jyushidai, but it's easy to drink with a gentle sweetness! This is a honjozo! The rice course was refreshing with boiled and cooked wild vegetables, and it was well-balanced and easy to drink! It looked like a place for locals to relax, and my girlfriend and I were a bit floaty, but the food was delicious! Thank you for the food 🙏!

When I tried it, I found it to be an elegant sake with a unique sweetness of rice and a lingering aftertaste! It has a strong flavor, so we paired it with yakitori (grilled chicken) that we ordered from our hometown tax payment... I've been buying a lot of sake in the winter, so I'm running out of space 😭. I have another event coming up at a liquor store, so I'll be drinking a lot!

My belly is going to grow! I opened a bottle of Isshaku-Suisei that I bought at Yamamoto Sake Shop before! I've been waiting for this bottle since I got it in Akita! And since it's winter, I got the first nigori ❄️ The taste is fresh and juicy, just like a fresh sake 🤤. It tastes more sweet and alcoholic than the 3 bottles at the New Year's party! When I drank it later, the sweetness was stronger, closer to the sweetness of rice than the fruity sweetness of the first day! Still, it is delicious! Thank you for the food 🙏!

Personal preference 3.9/5 Rice: Yamadanishiki Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol content 13 I forgot to post the sake I drank at the end of the year 😝. Here is a bottle I bought at Sumiyoshi Sake Brewery. Sukumasa is the only place in the neighborhood where I can find it, so I went ahead and bought it! I thought it was a little gassy and more cherry-like sweet and sour than the one I had before! I was able to drink it easily with low alcohol! I wish there were more distributors in Kansai 😭 Thank you very much for your service!

Personal preference 3.9/5 Rice: Tamakae, Shiga Prefecture Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol content 16 I also received this sake! Kadoya's hanpukai sake Shichibonjari Lightly Nigori (nigori) I've had a hot sake of Nanabonspear at an izakaya before, but it gave me a totally different impression! The other one had a mild sweetness from the rice, but this one was more fresh and juicy due to the fact that it was a nama sake! The gasiness and bitterness is a little stronger than the three bottles we had the day before, almost like a sparkling wine! In the second half, the gaseous taste calmed down and changed to the full sweetness of the rice when it was drunk in a kanzaku (Japanese sake). She also said this is a drinkable wine. ✌️ We had a battle of the mash, but it was fun! Thanks for the food!

Personal preference 4.0/5 Rice: Yumenokou Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 16 The third bottle is Hirotogawa This bottle was given to us by Hirupeko-san. Thank you 😭 I was commemorating the opening of Sake Labo's Big 3 nigori sake! My friend and I were watching a YouTube video of Sake Labo's Nigori Sake special. "Let me try these three bottles! I was told, "Let me have these three bottles. I was so excited that I decided to get three bottles of nigori sake. Thanks to all of you, I managed to get three bottles! The taste was as gaseous as Senkou, but less sweet and slightly more bitter. I like this one the best in the sense that the gassiness settles down in the second half of the bottle, but the creamy mouthfeel and the strong sweetness are still good in the second half 😊! Wishing you another delicious sake in the new year! Thanks for the treat 🙏.
