Personal preference 4.1/5 Alcohol content 14 The last sake from Kadoya-san's hanpukai 🎉! This is Kouei Kiku's hanpukai sake 🍶. Each bottle is sterilized by boiling 💦. Taste... Yes, it was delicious! The gassiness was subdued, with a fruity sweetness and a lingering aftertaste that quickly dissipated. It tasted almost like orange juice with a hint of acidity 🍊 or perhaps the gentle sweetness of mandarin oranges...whatever, it was a delicious product! It was so easy to drink that I drank almost 2 goules in the first day, but later on, the lees made it taste richer, with a little bitterness added, and it tasted like grapefruit! I served it with nuts and cheese so as not to disturb the flavor! Later I was told that Kadoya-san had a few bottles left, so I entered the contest and won! But my father wanted one, so I gave it to him 😭. Thanks for the treat!

Personal preference 3.6/5 Rice: Sakahomare from Fukui Prefecture Rice polishing ratio 40 Alcohol content 17 I noticed that the check-in time was 250! It took me longer than I thought it would lol. I'm going to drink at least one bottle a week for now. 🙋‍♂️ One of the last month's bottles of the hanpukai, Hayaseura! It is delicious with a firm sweetness and a mild mouthfeel! I bought a junmai ginjo from Kadoya before, but I prefer this one to it: ✨️ As the day goes by, the sweetness of the rice becomes stronger and the alcohol taste comes out a little, so I had it with strong flavored dishes! Thank you for the drink!

Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 15 I was allowed to drink a little of what my parents gave me 😊. Edo Kaijo by Tokyo Port Brewery I've had it before but never had a draft sake. It's delicious, with a refreshing sweetness, but also a nice assertion of the elegant rice flavor. It was the type of sake that I would recommend to people who don't drink much sake because of its gentle taste! Thank you for the sake!

Actually, we had a nice dinner together on the 24th, so we drank alcohol the next day 😁. We had a bottle of Amami Tokubetsu Junmai stored here at home. This is a lot from when the toji was Mr. Fujioka! Kuroten is a first for me ✨️ To sum it up, it's very tasty! The taste is full of gentle sweetness. The taste is full of gentle sweetness! Alcohol content 15 Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour Vol. 23 & 24 Ise-no-kuni Ichinomiya Tsubakidai Shrine Ise-no-kuni Ichinomiya Tsubakitai Shrine The shrine is said to be the god of guidance, so we made a lot of requests for family happiness, longevity, and good luck... This time, we will be drinking a local sake called "Saku! I had heard that it was delicious for a long time, but since it is relatively easy to obtain, I had not bought it because of my usual "that" problem... It tastes so good! It was juicy, sweet and sour, and tasted like an orange 🍊. I think this may be the first time I've ever had an orange feeling! For entrée, I'd like to try Yokkaichi Tonteki... But my favorite restaurant is closed for a long time due to construction 😭 I substituted the yakitori from the hometown tax payer's money instead! Thank you for the food 🙏!

Personal preference 4.0/5 Rice: Yamadanishiki Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol content 17 Another bottle of Kadoya's February hanpukai is Shimehari-zuru! I was curious about this sake because I see it often, but I never bought it because I see it so often. （I'm sorry, but I didn't buy it because I saw it so often! Sorry!) This one is just as juicy, fresh and delicious as Wakanami! This one seems to be a little more gassy than the Wakanami. The brewing forest is like a grape, but this one is like a melon soda, maybe because of the image on the label. This one has the impression of a melon soda or something like that, with a full-bodied sweetness. Instead of focusing on alcohol, I try to be frugal when I cook for myself. My friends were worried that I was doing so 🥺. Thank you very much for the food!

Personal preference 4.0/5 Ingredient rice: Hisashinmu Sorry, this is one of the bottles I drank a long time ago but never posted! I drank this bottle a long time ago, but never posted it! A bottle from Kadoya Sake Shop's February Hanpukai 🎉! I remember it was so fresh, but with a subtle sweetness and acidity that it went down so easily that I finished it in two days✨. Tasted like a slightly sour variety of berries and cherries. I would have savored it, but it was too good to resist😅. Since we are in Fukuoka, I paired it with sesame mackerel I had bought earlier: ✌️ Thank you so much for the meal!

Alcohol content 17 Sake Degree +4 I bought this bottle on a trip to Yamagata: ✈️ It was recommended to me by a friend who asked me what is sold locally! I guess I can't drink Nama sake as often as I used to... This one tastes like it's still alive, with a very strong gaseous taste and a slightly stronger aroma! The taste itself is less sweet and more bitter, my first impression was beer 🍻. It's a new sensation ✨ I had it with my hometown yakitori on this day! Thank you so much for the food!

Personal preference 3.9/5 Ingredient rice: Hanabukiyuki Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol content 16 A bottle purchased at Sukumasa. I took the train this time because my points would run out 😭 It's my first time to buy Tasake's light nigori and it's 2200 yen so I bought it no questions asked ☺️ Tasake, yumashi! It's refreshing and light on the palate, so it's easy to drink! I didn't feel much alcohol. It is fresh but not too fruity. 🙆‍♀️ I haven't had the expensive daiginjo yet, but I'd like to try it someday. I wonder if I can buy it at Kadoya-san? Thank you for the treat 😋.

Rice: Gin-no-sato produced in Sarukuro Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 15 We received this sake from Kitakyushu 💕 The sake is called Saruhami, named after a district in Kitakyushu City, and is produced by the Mizokami Sake Brewery. It has a refreshing sweetness and is not too much like a junmai sake, in a good way. The fruity sweetness like strawberry or melon comes and then fades away! After 3 days, the sweetness of the rice became stronger, but the lingering feeling that disappears was still there. Thank you very much!

Personal preference 3.8/5 Rice: Domaine Sakura, Yamadanishiki Rice polishing ratio 40 Alcohol content 15 Here is the sake I drank a while ago! Senkou Ippou purchased at Kadoya-san! I actually bought this sake as a housewarming gift for a friend... but the BBQ sauce I bought at Costco spilled on the label😭It wasn't cool, so I had it myself! The taste was more elegant than Sentori's solid label, with a more subdued sweetness. It tasted sweet like a peach 🍑 and the lingering bitter gasiness tasted like a pear 🍐! It's a premium series, but not that expensive, so it might be just right for a small celebration🎶. Thanks for the treat 😋.

As usual, I forgot to write down the drinks from that time lol I'd like to buy Honey Drop if I see it 💕︎ I'll report back on the 00 again in late March ✨. Once again, I have a sake post! January products from Kadoya Sake Shop's hanpukai 🎉. I drank this quite a while ago, so I'll review it based on my notes ✨. The taste was clean and the assertiveness of the flavor was moderate in a good way, making it an easy drinker! This is my first time to try Kikunosato's Ona, and although it is often sold in stores with Kadoya's seal of approval, I never picked it up because of the lineup. (I wondered if I could buy it anytime...) It was so good that I would like to try other kinds next time I stop by! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Personal preference 3.6/5.0 Ingredients: Rice, Rice malted rice (Gunma Prefecture) Rice polishing ratio 90 Alcohol content 15 Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour Vol. 22 I went to Ichinomiya on my trip to Kusatsu Onsen (hot spring) the week before last ⛩. Thanks to my friend who went along with my selfishness 🙏. Ichinomiya Ichinomiya Nukusa Shrine (一ノ宮 Ichinomiya Nukusa Shrine) in Ueno-no-kuni. I can't read this one. The shrine is located at the end of a flight of stairs from the torii gate, which is unusual for a shrine. This time, I bought this bottle at the Anzai Sake Shop in Kusatsu. Initials "A A collaboration with Tsuchida Sake Shop This is definitely inspired by the initials "0", isn't it? As I recall, that's Gunma, isn't it? I don't know much about cars at all, but I used to listen to SEB a lot. That's why I decided to enjoy it while listening to [wings of fire] 🎶. The aroma is quite strong and the color is clear. The rice polishing ratio is 90%, so the bitter taste is almost macho, and the sweetness of the rice comes later. It is difficult to say it is dry. Pairing with a strong flavored accompaniment seems like a good idea! I'd like to see the pass next time, of course I'm not a runner 💦. It was a treat 😋.

I told him I was jealous of his trip to Hokkaido. Sushi Sake 〜I've never bought sake specifically for sushi before ✨I'm terrible at pairing sake with sushi💦I've finally figured it out recently! So I prepared the assorted sashimi and oysters steamed with sake, and then it was time to eat. I see what you mean! That was my first impression! The taste is clean, sharp, and slightly dry, but there is almost no aftertaste, and it disappears quickly after drinking. It is dry and easy to drink without disturbing the taste of the fish, and it is as if your mouth is being reset for the next fish! For me personally, I would have enjoyed it more if there was more of a lingering taste, but I learned a lot about pairing! Thank you for the meal 😋.

Alcohol percentage 16 Sake meter degree +1 Good morning. ☀️ My fridge is in a mess with all the gifts from friends and the hanpukai 💦13 4-gou bottles is not the level of a single person living alone! I need to drink it soon 😮. This time I drank Kamikigen by Sakata Sake Brewery! This sake is the third in the diagonal Kamikigen series and is made from rice! Tsuyahime itself is a frequent recipient of my hometown tax ✌️ The taste is dry, not sweet and juicy at first. The taste is not fruity, but sweeter than rice 🌾. Towards the end, the taste is sour! I'm surprised because I haven't experienced sourness in sake very often! I made taro stew with the seasonings I bought locally! It tasted better than frozen taro when prepared by myself... The recent mild winter wiped out all the tree ice... it was a good thing we went during that time 😭 thank you for the food 😋.

Personal preference 3.9/5 Ingredient rice: Mirai Sake Rice polishing ratio 53 Alcohol content 16 January product of Kadoya Sake Shop's hanpukai 🎉 This is the first time for us to have Yumeshin Sake Brewery's sake. This is my first time to try Yumeshin Shuzo's sake! It is a fresh and juicy sake! I could drink a whole bottle of this and gobble it up! It has a gassy, berry-like impression that leans more towards lychee! I'm sorry I couldn't get the flavor profile of Sake Mirai 💦. This is my first Sake Mirai from that brewery, but I've heard other breweries endorse it, so I'd like to try it if I get the chance: ☺️ Thank you for the treat!

Personal preference 3.5/5 Rice: Yamadanishiki Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 15 Kusatsu Onsen♨️ It took us 6 hours to get here from Kansai💦. It's better to have a car! We got skunk cabbage at the inn! I haven't had skunk cabbage since the last time I had it at a bar! It has the impression of sweetness from the rice, but with bitterness and spiciness next to it. It's not the type of sake that you go for in a big gulp, but it's just right as a mid-meal drink ✨. It's like a pear... I heard that it is like pear... but I don't feel the fruity taste so much, I think it is more like rice. It was much easier to drink than last time! Maybe it's because it's been in a bottle for a long time? I realized that even the same sake tastes different depending on the management and time of year... Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Personal preference 3.5/5 Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 14 I just traveled to Gunma the other day 🚎. Today we had sukiyaki in Shimonita 🍲. We had sukiyaki with pork here (^🐽^). I had Myogisan special honjozo to go with my rice! It was mild, full of sweetness of rice, and had no peculiar taste! It was a little dry. Anyway, the sukiyaki leeks and meat were delicious! Thank you for the meal 🙏.

My friend bought me a bottle 🚗³₃ on a trip. It's not really a thousand-dollar bottle, but for some reason it wouldn't accept manual entry 😭. It is a standard type of sake with some dryness, sweetness and umami from the rice, but it is easy to drink and you don't feel the alcohol! Overall, the taste is strong, so I had it with gingerbread with meat 🐷Thanks for the meal!
