Ichinomiya & Local Sake Tour No. 28
I was back in Maizuru, my hometown.
I went to Miyazu on that trip.
Tango-no-kuni Ichinomiya Motoisekago
It is said that Amaterasu, the deity of Ise-san, temporarily resided here in the past.
There were quite a few foreigners here and there, maybe for the boathouse in Ine?
I bought a bottle of Manai by Hakurei Sake Brewery!
It was labeled as "Manai" on the website!
On the first day of opening the bottle, there is no gasiness, but there is a refreshing and bitter taste, with a banana-like sweetness in the second half 🍌.
You can taste the dryness in the aftertaste 🥃.
As the day goes by, the freshness settles down, the sweetness becomes more rice-like, and the dryness increases, giving it a different taste.
Personally, I prefer the "vivid" sake I had a long time ago!
My wife was very happy with the bara-zushi we bought over there 😋.

I participated in the off-line meeting that everyone has posted about!
I brought Asahitaka ✨️ that I could buy in Yamagata!
I packed a cooler box and coolant...it was so hot lol!
It's not as fruity as this winter's, but it's easy to drink with a combination of gorgeousness and freshness 🎶I also had it lukewarm, which is also delicious, with a soft sweetness spreading through it!
I was wondering if it was getting old in the heat... but I'm glad I was able to enjoy it. ☺️
We were allowed to take the leftovers home for the wife 🙇🏻♀️🙏
We enjoyed your drinks as well! I will slowly post the others 😊.
Thank you for the food and drink!
P.S.
We also went to the nearby Otori Shrine as part of our Ichinomiya tour!
Good evening, Ofuji 😀
Thank you very much for your help the other day 😀
It was my first time drinking Asahitaka and it was a very nice sake😇.
If a sake like this was on the sake diploma exam, I would definitely fail because I wouldn't know it was a honjozo 🤣.
Good evening, Mr. Yasbay 🌛.
Thank you for your hard work the other day!
I enjoyed Sekimusume too ✨️
I can't believe this is a honjozo 💦Good luck with your sake diploma~!

A bottle that I redeemed points at Kadoya before I moved.
We had our first Tobiroki at home: ❣️
A very well-balanced bottle!
It's not the fruity, acidic, bitter one you'd expect... but it's all very elegant.
I can see why everyone is buying it ✨
I can't drink it so readily because it's not as easy to buy as the other ones, but if I could buy it again, I would definitely buy it!
It's been a while since I've had fried tofu with toast and crispy toast as a side dish!
Thank you for the treat 🙏.
Hello, Ofuji-san 🐦.
I see you are near Kadoya-san! I'm so jealous 😊I also drink HIROKI pure silver at home😻
I drink it once a year, so I wonder when it will accumulate 😂.
Ponchan, good evening 🌛.
No, it went the other way 😭I bought it as a parting gift before that! I'm about to wear my points expiration date, so I'm going to go buy it and put it in on my birthday: ✌️

It's still hot even though it's September 😭.
I wonder if it will be hot in October as well...
This time I opened a bottle of my most exciting sake!
Houraizumi Sora no Nama Nama Sake ☁️🫧
I opened it as a thank you for the hawk's eye my friend gave me~!
It's been a while since I've had a Junmai Daiginjo, so the aroma is gorgeous and colorful!
It has a well-balanced impression with a sweetness between the fruitiness of the rice.
The alcohol content is 16%, but it doesn't feel too alcoholic, it's easy to drink 🎶.
It's nice to buy something priced like this once in a while!
I had it with a caprese I made at random.
It is refreshing and goes well with summer without interfering with the taste of alcohol!
Thank you for the treat 🙏.
Hi Ofuji 🐦.
I was just looking at the nice story of you and your friend giving each other good sake 😊I see that the taste is worth the price ✨.
I've been thinking about it for some celebration for a long time now 😅.

This is a retrospective post 🎶.
I received a bottle of Kabutomushi by Sentori!
I believe I bought it at Kadoya before I moved here!
This is actually my first Kabutomushi ✨️
As usual, Sengoku's sake is low in alcohol and easy to drink, and I can easily recommend it to my friends!
Although they use Yamadanishiki, you don't feel the sense of rice in a good way, and it's almost like a sour with a nice bitterness and gasiness.
I heard that it is a lemon sour for adults, but personally I think it is more like a cider because it has a moderate sweetness to it 🍋.
The price is also very kind to my wallet!
Thank you very much for the food 😋😋.
Hi Ofuji 😃
Congratulations on your first Kabutobushi 🌈🎉.
It's easy on the wallet and easy to drink😊thanks for the bottle so I can recommend it to everyone 🤗.
Hello Jay & Nobby ✨
Thank you so much, I've been looking for a modern type for a while now! It's one of the easiest to get and I often promote it to my friends: ✌️ because many of my friends around me like the modern type too~!
Next time I'm getting a red dragonfly: ❤️🔥

Another friend of ours at the cottage brought this to us 😊.
He bought it on a business trip to Fukuoka: ✨️
He said it is shipped in limited quantities, and he is a sucker for limited editions!
The rice polishing ratio is 35%.
We had it with roasted heshiko and dried fish at a BBQ.
It has a mellow sweet aroma and a slightly juicy taste, but the sweetness of the rice and the dry taste come immediately!
Maybe the rice flavor was more pronounced because we drank a Takanome just before!
As a food sake, it would have been better with a strong flavored dish, but it is also delicious on its own.
Thank you for the meal 🙏🙏🙏.
Ingredient rice: Yamadanishiki produced in Yamaguchi prefecture

We had a BBQ at a cottage with friends last week!
If it had been this week, we probably would have cancelled it 🌀
My friend brought a bottle of sake!
It's a high-end sake jointly developed by TAKANOME and Hatsumomiji, so the price is very expensive!
It is priced at a ton with Hakumitsu, which I drank in my early days 🫢.
I kept it chilled in the fridge at the cottage!
Anyway, it's an easy-drinking bottle, and I would recommend it to those who are not familiar with sake for its taste (regardless of the price): ✨️
It has a fruity taste like peach and pineapple with a gentle acidity and sweetness 🍍.
The fruity flavor remains even when the temperature is lowered, but you can feel the acidity more when it is tightly chilled.
Thank you for always giving me the opportunity to serve you 😭
But I didn't serve such an expensive sake lol
Thank you for the food 😋😋😋😋😋.
Hi Ofuji 😊 wow 😳
I always thought "I can't afford it 🥲" even though I see it all the time on Instagram, like hawk-eye.
The BBQ at the cottage is so chalet 😎.
Hi Maru, ☀️
I too had only seen this drink on social media!
It was easy to drink - I was tasting it like I couldn't drink anymore!

We also went on a trip to Nagano during the Bon Festival 🚗.
Shinano-kuni Ichinomiya Suwa-taisha Shrine
Suwa-taisha is a Shinto shrine built in the Suwa Mountains, and three of the four shrines do not have main shrines.
The powerful sacred pillars and komainu (guardian dogs) are also a must-see!
You can also visit the four shrines and immerse yourself in the history of each one. ✌️
The water at the Kamisha Mae-miya shrine was especially pleasant!
I got a bottle of Honkin no Suwa by Sake Nunoya Honkin Sake Brewery.
I saw it at the Hata Sake Shop, but was not able to purchase it after all!
The subtle scent of ginjo aroma is more subdued than the last one I had before dawn!
The taste is juicy at first with moderate acidity and elegant sweetness, like melon or banana!
The sweetness then quickly fades away, leaving a lingering dryness and sweetness of rice that is typical of sake.
It was a pleasant 28 degrees Celsius at Lake Suwa!
The owner said it was very hot... 😊.
When I go shopping in Ibaraki again, I will buy other kinds of sake 🎶.
Good evening, Ofuji-san 🦉.
You went to Suwa-taisha ✨I haven't been to both of the upper shrines 💦I see you have great water 😳.
I also want to go to Hata-san and drink this and Yamae-nishiki 🎶.
Hello, Ponchan!

How is your Obon season going?
Please be careful of typhoons in Kanto area.
I went on a trip to Nagano on the first day of Obon!
We left at 3am because the highway in Kyoto is very crowded 🚗.
Thanks to that, we didn't hit any big traffic jams!
The picture is Kamikochi, the water was so beautiful and cool. ✨️
I went to Matsumoto and bought a copy of "Dawn Before Dawn" 😊.
I was also interested in Alps Masamune, but... stocked up...
It was under 1,700 yen for a 4-pack, a great deal 🉐.
It has a gorgeous ginjo aroma.
The sweetness of the rice at first, with a hint of pineapple during the bitterness and sourness 🍍.
The lingering taste is one of rice sweetness and dry bitterness, just like sake.
I had it with chilled tofu and nozawana greens. It was a refreshing combo and I drank it easily!
Thank you very much for the sake!
Hello, Ofuji-san.
Kamikochi is beautiful ✨I remember visiting there a few years ago 🎵.
Thinking about it, there are so many sakes I'd like to drink in Nagano Prefecture, but I can't seem to find them 💧.
Cold tofu, nozawana and sake too 👍️
Good evening, Mr. Ofuji 🦉.
The weather is beautiful and the view is great!
I've been wanting to drink this drink ever since I saw it before dawn in "God's Chart" 😊It has a pineapple🍍feeling to it 😁 I'm getting more and more curious about it ❣️
Good morning Mr. Ofuji 😊
The scenery is really beautiful!
I haven't had it since my friend bought it for me before dawn 😰.
Cold tofu and nozawana 😍
I'm planning to go to Shinshu in the fall too 😁.
Hi Ofuji 😊
It's so beautiful🤩The water clarity is amazing!
I'm leaving at 3am😅I'm also negotiating with my wife for a trip to Nagano, but she has a lot of travel plans in her mind, I don't know how many years it will be 😭.
I'm also jealous of getting that thing!
Good evening, ma-ki.
The air in Kamikochi was very beautiful! Traffic was crazy during the Bon festival 💦.
I understand that you want to drink many other things! I want to revisit and drink other drinks too 🤤.
Good evening, Ponchan 🌛.
The view was great! The road to Kamikochi is jammed for about 10km from noon.
I didn't know you were out 🫢I'll show you a glimpse of the pineapple feeling 🍍.
Good evening, Ao-chan 🌛.
Thank you ✨️ It was cool and I thought Nagano was pretty nice in summer!
I had never seen it in Kansai either😊.
If it's autumn, is it autumn leaves? Enjoy your sake 🎶.
Maru, good evening 🌛.
It was as clear as I've only seen it on video 😭✨.
I'm used to driving from waking up early in the morning, but by that evening I was sleepy 💤.
I'll post more about that one when I have another drink!
Hi Ofuji 😃
We had the same one last spring on our Shinshu sake trip 🍶, although we drank it outside 🤗I thought it was a mysterious label since we were at an izakaya 🏮 at night at the time 😅It looks beautiful 😍I love it with nozawana and chilled tofu 😙.
Hello Jay & Nobby ✨

I bought it at Nishimura🚗³₃
The taste is novel and delicious!
Sweet and sour like honey lemon 🐝.
The citric acid from the black yeast and the sweetness from the yellow yeast give it this flavor 😮💡.
It is personally the best sake among the variant type sake~!
It was also good to cool it down to a certain degree and mix it with a little soda water!

A friend gave this to me as a housewarming gift.
It is the first time for me to drink Ni-Hare.
It was very fresh and full of life, just like a pure sake!
The gaseous and freshness of the sake made it easy to drink without feeling the alcohol 🎶.
I love the sweetness of the rice, the lingering bitterness, and the gorgeous aroma!
I should do something to thank my friend for her kindness!
I had it with horse mackerel and salted tofu!
Horse mackerel goes well with it, but the catch phrase is that salted tofu is like cheese...but this is tofu lol!
Thank you very much!
Hi Ofuji 🐦.
Congrats on your first two hares 🐇🐇🎉 nice celebration 😁 I haven't tasted raw sake yet 💦 I'd like to try it ✨
I see you have salt bean rot 😳

We stopped by when we visited my wife's parents' house!
Usa Jingu, the first shrine in Buzen-no-kuni!
The head shrine of all Hachimangu shrines in Japan.
Ishimizu Hachimangu Shrine was a great place to visit when we had a bad year. 🙇♂️
Nakatsu is close by, so of course we had some fried chicken 😋.
This time we had Tenshin by Mizokami Sake Brewery!
The same brewery as the Sarukui we got last time!
I bought it around February and let it sit for a while 🎶.
The taste has a freshness that is typical of unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. ✨️
The gasiness is rather subdued, with a lemon-like acidity and bitterness, and the dryness comes out a little in the second half!
The sweetness was falling, but as the day went by, it became more assertive...
I had it with sesame mackerel I bought over there!
Thank you very much!
Hi Ofuji-san 🐦.
I was looking at this magnificent Hachiman-san, and I see that it is the head temple 😳I didn't even know it was in Fukuoka, so I learned a lot 🤓.
I'm sure you'll enjoy many specialties there as well 😻😻I want to try some fried chicken 😻!
Good morning, Ponchan. ☀️

I bought it at Sumino's. There was no price tag and it was displayed in the back!
There was no price tag and it was displayed in the back, so I was afraid to ask if it was reserved.
I was afraid to ask, thinking it might be a reservation slot.
What? So this is my first home-made sogape 🎶.
Just before I came home, I bumped into Mr. Yoohee.
He knew in a second that I had gone there secretly.
The aroma was soft and gorgeous, there was a feeling of rice here!
The taste is very easy to drink with a combination of sweetness, bitterness and sourness!
At first I thought it was orange, lemon or apple, but in the second half, it had a slightly pungent sake taste.
It was sweeter than white wine and light bodied.
I didn't put it on its side, so there wasn't much cork aroma on it.
I wonder if this sake is supposed to be on its side?
It was delicious and I want to go back to Sumino 🥺.
Thanks for the food 🙏.
Good morning, Ofuji-san. ☀︎
I didn't expect to bump into you at that place ❗️
I was there when you were making your purchase 👀.
I'm glad you had a good time, even though there aren't that many varieties 👍.
Congratulations on your first home sogape (this way of saying 😁👍), Ofuji!

I went on a honeymoon: ✈️
It was a lot of fun, memories that will last a lifetime!
Money was blown 💰.
When I brought those souvenirs back to my parents' house, I snagged some of their sake!
My parents love Daisuki Kamikawa's Goryo.
Apparently they were traveling to Hakodate 😂.
Ginpu is a sake brewing rice grown in Hokkaido!
In other words, it's a rare taste 🌾.
The taste is light in a good way, with a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness and a bit of dryness in the second half.
However, the dryness is not as strong as that of Hokkaido sake.
Personally, I could drink it without hesitation.
Thank you very much!
P.S.
My wife gave me a yellow card for buying too much wine 🍷.
Good evening, Ofuji.
Congratulations on your honeymoon: ❤️👨❤️👨✈️
I enjoyed your photos other than sake 🎵.
I will refer to them as I don't come across sake in Hokkaido very often😊.
Good evening, Ofuji. From Paris to Mont Saint-Michel and the British Museum? A fulfilling honeymoon💕That's right, you bought too much wine😆🍷Thank you for including the sake as well😊.

Hi Ofuji 😃
Then we'll be bragging back too! Well... wait a minute... 💬I'll comment when I think of something 😅.
We were probably talking about Australia 🇦🇺 but did we really go there ⁉️ yesterday 😆
Hi Ofuji 😊 nice honeymoon 😆.
Well, let's see, my honeymoon was in Hawaii and I flew half way home due to radar problems on the plane to get there... and in Hawaii we got hit by a hurricane... it was fun 🤣.
Hello, Ofuji!
Mont Saint-Michel! Europe is nice, is the 4th one [Rosetta Stone] at the British Museum?
When I got married, I was in the first period of Corona and I didn't go on honeymoon, so I guess I can go there only in my old age 🤔.
Good evening, Hirupeko 😊.
You are very knowledgeable, aren't you? That's right 💕︎
I also bought some cider at Mont Saint-Michel, so I almost got stuck with customs duty lol.
Good evening, T.KISO 🌙
Mont Saint-Michel was amazingly good!
And the episode in Las Vegas is very intense lol.
I think I would have done the same thing if I went there 🤣 I would love to have a second honeymoon there!
Good evening, Hanapin-san 🌛.

It was just a day of splurging, but it was memorable - I was happy to spend less than 500 yen 🫢 1000 yen at the supermarket for a bottle of wine lol.

Good evening, Mr. Manachy 🌛.

Why is it over 30 degrees 🤔?
Take care everyone!
I was already ahead of summer sake in June: ✌️
Tomita Shuzo's Shichibonjari~!
I'm pretty sure I bought this one at Kadoya.

Personally, I like this one better in summer!
I want to buy some summer sake, but I don't have any left...
I can't wait to drink it with dinner!

We all enjoyed this sake brought by a friend during Golden Week.
Akitsu Yamadanishiki by Nichinichi!
The regular one costs a little more, but this one is even more expensive 🫢.
I always serve the sake I buy to my friends, but they always thank me for the sake, so it's a permanent institution 😁.
The taste is the same as the Nichinichi I drank before, where there is still some gas and a slight sweetness.
This one doesn't have the bitterness of lemon, instead it has a light, rice-like sweetness on the palate 🌾.
It is delicious to say the least. ✨️
I would love to drink it again at home with friends!
Thanks for the treat 😋.
Hi, Ofuji.
You and your friend have a wonderful relationship ✨.

I got another one, but I forgot to take a picture of it 💦.
I saw Zenkichi in the fridge, so I ordered this one!
Junmai Ginjyo, with an elegant, fruity sweetness that is often found in nama-ginjos! It was not gassy or juicy, so the sweetness was similar to banana or melon 🍌.
Still, the sweetness of the rice and a little bit of sharp freshness on the nose afterwards was a good combination👍.
If you ask me whether it's the Koshi or this one, it seems to change with the sake pairing 🤔.
I'm torn between the two 🤔
I also received a pair of Edo glass rings as a wedding gift from a friend!
I will use it with care 🙏!
The bamboo shoot rice was also delicious!
Thank you for the food: ✨️
Hi Ofuji 😃Zenkichi is delicious, I'm the one who orders it when I find it 👍The sake cup from your friend is also nice ✨Ofuji, so Fuji's sake cup 🗻🤔Nice 😊.

The first course was konbu-jime (kelp-jamame) of the meat, so I was recommended a light sake!
Koshi apple 🍎!
The label is cute and was created by Iinuma Honke to attract new customers!
I imagined it would be sour and sweet like a cider, but instead it has a distinct sweetness and a slight bitterness that tastes like white wine. ✨️
I am happy to have a light and easy to drink sake to start with!
Personal preference 3.5/5
Rice: Yamadanishiki
Rice polishing ratio 60~65
Alcohol 16~17%.
Sake degree +5~+7
I drank a bottle of Isoboast during Golden Week because my friend came home.
I have drunk it outside, but I had never drunk it at home.
(The price is very expensive...).
The aroma is gorgeous, and the sweetness and dryness share a common taste that quickly disappears! The aftertaste is sharp and pungent!
It is a gem that you can feel the moisture in your throat like mineral water. ✌️✌️
Thank you very much!
