At Obon Camp
It was cooler than the city at a shady site, but
It was hot. 🏕️
But in the midst of all that, a nice cold Kabutomushi was the best!
It was the best!
Refreshing sourness! Nice low al!
I drank it more easily than lemon squash 🙌 lol
Colorful beetles successfully captured this year: ❗️
When these come out, I know summer is just beginning 🌻.
Refreshing, delicious, sweet and sour 😋.
This flavor is one and only 😋!
Thank you for the food 🙏🙏.
I would like to drink stag one day too 🤤.
Good evening, Mr. Hissan 🌆I'm in a hurry because before I drink much summer sake, I realized that hiyaoroshi has started selling 😂‼️Time flies by too fast 😨.
Good evening, Mr. Manachie 😀
The sake I've been buying lately has been mixed with sake that has the word "autumn" in it!
It's still so hot 🥵, but can you really serve autumn sake already? I know 😅.
Well, it's delicious, but wow!
Good evening! I'm so envious, the bar owner in China said that this sake is very easy to blow up the bottle on the airplane. That's why it's hard to drink it in China. I'll have a chance to come to Japan to drink it!
SENKOKU KABUTOMUSHI KABUTOMUSHI Nama-zake
Rice: Domaine Sakura Yamadanishiki, Polishing ratio: Koji: 50%, Kake: 60%, Alcohol: 14%, Sake: Not disclosed, Acidity: Not disclosed
This is a 50% Yamadanishiki sake brewed separately for summer sake. It is a summer limited edition sake with a low alcohol content of 14%, yet it is light yet present.
Sweet and sour taste. The acidity, which was more characteristic due to the change to nama-moto, has been smarter as an overall outline. The refreshing and light malic acidity, which reminds one of summer, is sharp and cute at the same time. Although it is a low-alcohol sake, the structure retains the Sentori character, and it is both clear and three-dimensional. The aroma is reminiscent of citrus fruits and herbs, and the acidity has a strong presence on the palate, as if a lime had been squeezed. The acidity is sparkling and beautiful.
Purchased in July at the Fukumori Sake Shop in Nara 🍶✨.
I was told by the store that it was the last shipment in stock and I was able to purchase it just in time 😍.
The refreshing rummy-ness is perfect for summer 🤩🤩.
Too delicious 😭
Yukinko
Nice to meet you😃Congratulations on getting the last shipment 🎉Every year when Kabutatsumushi is released, I get so nervous whether I can buy it or not😅💦It is one of the brands I want to buy every year💕.

Before I got into sake, this beetle came out as a recommendation at a soba (buckwheat noodle) restaurant. Thinking about it now, it was so sweet and sour that I thought it wouldn't go well with Soba. This is a strange summer sake that reminds me of beetle food.
...To comment seriously, it is light, as summer sake should be, with a coolness from the malic acid and a freshness from the unpasteurized sake. I mean, it is a modern and experimental sake with the Amaneko standing of Shinsei.
Repeat Score] 2.0
First visit to an izakaya for a closing drink
The first drink of Kabutatsumushi
Subdued aroma
Citrusy and acidic
Kouei Kiku-ish
Complex taste with a hint of sake yeast
I see... This is a sake that sells well.
For some reason, I feel like pairing it with spring rolls!
