Yamanaka Sake Shop August Corner Launch Report (3) Ohroku is often promoted at Yamanaka. The No. 4 bottle is expensive, so we decided to drink it here where the temperature is well controlled. It has a bit of sweetness and a rummy feel to it, but it flows smoothly 💨. I drank it smoothly, wondering if it is one of the rarest bottles out there since it has 5 silver stars from the label. After this, I met up with bouken-san and we toured liquor stores in Osaka City 👟.

Yamanaka Sake Shop August Kakunai Report (2) Next is Kikuhime. I tried nigori, which I often see but have never had before. ❗️ Creamy mouthfeel, a little sweetness, and flows smoothly 💨. I imagine nigori sake to be very sweet or dry, but this one is right in the middle. If you look closely at the label, it's made with Yoshikawa's Yamadanishiki 👀.

Yamanaka Sake Shop August Corner Launch Report (1) My glasses broke on this day, so I decided to go out to Osaka for a long time 🚈. On my way home, I decided to stop by Yamanaka and have a few drinks 🍶. The first drink was Kaiun Hiyazume. The first drink was a Kaiun Hiyazume, a spec that you don't see very often, so I decided to try it 💡. It has a gentle sweetness like melon, with just a hint of bitterness as it pulls away 🍈. It's so smooth to drink even in the summer, I ran out of it quickly 💧.

When I visited Tanba Sasayama in June, I bought Junmai and Jungin at the brewery 💡. Then Junmai Ginjo🌾. The aroma and sweetness are the same as the Junmai, but there is no nuttiness or bitterness, and the aftertaste is very smooth💨. Those who are looking for the Ho-Naru style may find it lacking, but I liked this one better ✨. I'll have to try the alsobe type next time. 180 mL ¥ 570

When I visited Tanba Sasayama in June, I bought Junmai and Jungin at the brewery 💡. Hougein has a rich image, and I didn't have the courage to buy a 4-ounce bottle, so I decided to compare them in 180 mL bottles 🫙. I started with the Junmai 🌾. The aroma and sweetness are like rummy, and the taste is nutty, aromatic, and bitter as you pull away 🥜. It tastes like "Houmei" but has a smooth aftertaste, probably because it's a pure sake. 180 mL ¥ 530

Atago's eyelashes with more glitter labels than usual✨. I was attracted to this design 💡. Later, when I looked at it more closely, I saw that it was made with Hakutsuru-nishiki from Hyogo Prefecture, so my expectations were high 🌾. It has a melon-like aroma, a bit of sweetness, and a light aftertaste. As with all brands, I personally prefer the aroma and sweetness of Hakutsuru-nishiki to Yamada-nishiki. 720 mL ¥ 2,090

A bottle of Sumino Sake Shop's July hanpukai 🍾. Pesticide-free cyclical agriculture self-grown rice field omachi🌾 No.7 yeast🫧. I haven't had Akizuka in a few years since I drank it before Sake no Wayaaru🦌. It has a magic feeling and a gusto of sweetness like Wasanbon, and pulls away with a bit of bitterness. It tastes better at room temperature when the temperature rises. It's a pretty peculiar sake, and I thought it doesn't need to be refrigerated if it's of this quality 💧. 720 mL ¥ 2,100

A bottle of Sumino Sake Shop's July hanpukai 🍾. 100% Hachitan-Nishiki from Hiroshima Prefecture Houken, which I had never touched before because of its label that looks like it could be mistaken for a shochu (rice wine) 🗡️ It is as refreshing as water when drunk on its own. When drunk alone, it is as refreshing as water, but when paired with sashimi, the sweetness is brought out a bit like wasanbon 🐟. I can taste the flavor better when the temperature is a little higher 💡. 720mL ¥ 1,980

One of the bottles in Sumino Sake Shop's July Hanpukai 🍾. Fukushima sake has been served by coincidence as of late, and this is the first Aizu Musume again. The "Yield" series is made from individually harvested Gohyakumangoku (five hundred million stone) and brewed in individual tanks. When you drink it, you can taste the umami, but you can also feel the acidity at the same time, and it flows smoothly. It was a perfect bottle for summer, with a sense of transparency rather than a harsh taste of sweetness. The dragonfly mark and serial number give it a special feel ✨. 720 mL ¥ 2,420

The label looks intimidating with its pre-war typeface, but the taste flows smoothly with a melon-like aroma and sweetness. Someone mentioned that it looks like an old man's sake, but once you drink it, you'll be surprised 👀. 720 mL ¥ 1,980

One I bought when I visited Teramura for a long time✨. I've seen it a lot in sakewa reviews, but this is my first time drinking it 🐢. It flows smoothly with an apricot-like sweetness and sourness. The sweetness intensified on the second day. A little classical aroma peeks out at first as well. This is quite my favorite taste👍. Very slightly carbonated. The apricot-like aroma and sweetness comes in gusto and flows with the sourness. I opened this bottle before the Olympics to show my support 🍾. We were able to have a precious bottle of this once every 4 years release ✨. The price was also a gold medal level amongst the Imi's, and I remember 👀ing after buying it with bouken 💧. I took the day off on a weekday for the first time in a while and wandered around Kobe City 🚗. We decided to go to a soba restaurant near the Hyogo Prefectural Government Office, where Sumino's family was said to visit. There are only counter seats in the restaurant, and it is said that there is a long line every day, but we were lucky enough to be seated easily that day. If you want to be sure of a seat, it is recommended to make a reservation on line 💡. They have a good selection of drinks and a la carte dishes, and there were a few people here and there 👀 who were having a lunchtime drink. The soba noodles restaurant had a strong aroma, so I chose the dry Hachibei 🍶. The sweetness was gone quickly and left a bitter taste like grapefruit. It's been a while since I had a dry sake, but it didn't interfere with the soba and I drank it without hesitation👍.

Long time no see! My cell phone broke and it took a while to get the data back so I couldn't post. I thought I could go back to posting on time for a while if the data was not restored, but unfortunately, the photos were still there and I will start from the second half of July 💨(I'm happy and sad 💦). I got this eimi at Mystery Chi in February, I believe. I couldn't open it for a long time and opened it in the summer 🍾. I think I got bouken's later at an off-line meeting 💡. It is thick, muscat, and sweet like Wasanbon. Fruity and delicious, but I felt the bitterness was stronger when it was cold. It was one of the sake that I could understand what "Imi" is like. 720 mL ¥ 2,300

Asano Nihon Sake Shop Sannomiya Hakuryu Fair Report 3📝. Finally, we decided to have a summer sake with a cool label. The aroma of white grapes lingered on the palate with a touch of citrus bitterness. Overall, it was dry, but this was the most aromatic and delicious ✨. It was my first time drinking this brand, so I'm glad I got some idea of what to expect from a quick drink comparison👍.

Asano Nihon Sake Shop Sannomiya Hakuryu Fair Report 2📝. The second drink was a light nigori. It has a little bit of sweetness, but the bitterness comes out stronger and stays on the tongue. It feels drier than the fresh stored version.
