A delicious sake. It is 80% polished rice, and was recommended to me as having the true flavor of rice.
It has a slight fruity flavor at the beginning, and a sourness that is not too dry. It is a sake that has a sourness that spreads without a strong dry taste.
Junmai Daiginjo
Namaishu Miyamanishiki
I had an image of Kouji as sweet fruit, lactic acid flavor, etc.
This sake was very different!
It has a strong strawberry-like flavor.
It has a strong strawberry flavor, and the thickness of the flavor is punchy.
It is not the kind of sake that can be drunk in large gulps.
It is good to savor it little by little.
What also surprised me was that it was quite similar to Gin Beni from Iraka Sake Brewery.
It is my first encounter with a similar sake with this flavor.
195th bottle.
⭐️YAKOU🌖
It's mildly sweet with just a hint of petitiveness,
It's not fruity sweet, it's not sweet like an explosion of rice feeling 🌾, it's sharp as it says on the label ⚔️, it's crisp without leaving a residue in the mouth. This kind of thing is also possible, there is still a lot of sake🍶 to learn about it‼︎
When I went to the liquor store,
We have some unfortunate news...
The release of Koshi's "Ake no Sora", which you had pre-ordered, has been postponed. ⤵️ (mid-December)
I heard that,
I was looking at the shelf and saw a sake called "Aohoshi"!
I bought it because I felt it was fate that I would be drinking Hekiboshi before drinking Ake no Sora.
The taste is gorgeous, just like Kouji.
The fruity taste becomes more pronounced when it is cooled down moderately.
I'm looking forward to drinking Ake no Sora: ✨️
Koshi and Miyamanishiki were opened 🎉.
Kouji, the second most popular sake brewery in Chiba Prefecture after Kangiku: ☺️
In my opinion, I feel something similar to Kangiku.
Maybe it's because they have the same water quality 🤔.
That's why I love Kouji too😍.
And this time Miyamanishiki is a 100% Miyamanishiki Junmai Daiginjo ✨ that has been aged by storing the raw sake in ice temperature for more than 6 months.
I guess you could say it's a hiyaoroshi of the raw sake ☝️
Just looking at these specs it looks delicious and I bought it 😆.
I'll have it right away 🥂.
First, the aroma.
The aroma is super fruity and gorgeous!
The fruity sweetness spreads in the mouth, and the gasiness starts in the mid-palate, followed by a good astringency at the end.
It is sharp and goes down smoothly.
There is no bitterness or spiciness at all.
Wow, it tastes great 😋😋😋😋😋.
It is very fruity and sweet 🥭, even though it has been aged for a long time, it is still gassy.
It is sweet and juicy without much acidity.
Perhaps it is a characteristic of Miyamanishiki, but the flavor of the rice is light.
So even though it is matured, it is not rich and almost crisp.
Hiyaoroshi has a heavy image, but this is light, sweet, and easy to drink.
The new Koshi sake will be available soon 🤩.
I was really impressed when I drank it last year, so I pre-ordered it again this year💕.
I'm looking forward to seeing the difference between this one and the freshly stored one again ❣️
Hi Hina Hana Mama 😃
Koshi fruity and delicious ✨I always look at the labels because they are so cool 😍.
Light and lusciously juicy might be just right for me as I find sweetness heavy 😍.
Hello ichiro18😃Thank you for your comment 😃.
I like Koshi because it is fruity, sweet and acidic too ❣️ This Miyamanishiki is sweet but refreshing and easy to drink 🥰 Please give it a try 💕.
Hi HinaHanaMama 🐦.
Koshi is also delicious...I would love to drink it ❣️ but my liver can't handle it and it's on the back burner 💦I'd love to taste the fruity hiyaoroshi when I see it 😊.
Hi Pon-chan 😃Thank you for your comment 😃.
Koshi is as fruity as Kangiku 💕especially this Miyamanishiki was very fruity 🥰It's hiyaoroshi but it's still a fresh sake so it had some gas and was delicious 🤗.
Good evening, HinaHanaMama🌛The label is lean and very cool ✨️I'm jealous because I don't see Koshi-san very often🤤If it goes with Kangiku, it definitely strikes me🥰I can't wait for the new sake🥹💕.
Good evening, HinaHanaMama!
If the label is stylish or cool, it just makes the sake taste even better. ☺️
I haven't had Koshi yet, but if it's sweet and fruity, I'd love to try it✨.
Good evening, Nao888 😄Thank you for your comment!
Koshi ranges from dry to sweet and sour, but the sweet and sour type is definitely our middle of the road 😆.
The new sake we had last year was so good we were speechless😍.
Good evening, Chihsta-san 😄Thank you for your comment♪
I should have introduced Koshi when I was in Chiba on a business trip the other day 😩Kangiku and Koshi are my guesses for Chiba! If you see it, please try it 🥰.
Hina Hana Mama
Good morning!
I've not had Koshi for a while, so I'm curious to see what else you have 👍I think the new sake is Sakai no Dawn 🤔I think it was pretty hard to find 😅...
Hinahana Mama 💕I was curious about Koshi 💕I thought it might be a classic because of its hard-edged name ‼️, but Mama gave it a super fruity gorgeous rating at the smell 💖It looks delicious ‼️ I wonder if I can make reservations in time for Sakasui no Dawn, too ⁉️
Hi Kojo 😃Thank you for your comment...
I know it may be too sweet for you, but please give it a try 🙏.
Yes, it is! The new sake is Sakai no Dawn: ‼️
It's already quite excellent 👍.
Hi Pekho 😃Thanks for your comment 😃.
Kouko is not a classic at all ❣️ it's on the cutting edge of modernity 😆 The sake shop I go to was closed for reservations for Sakai no Dawn 😥I hope you drink it too Peckho 🙏.
Good evening, HinaHanaMama 🌉.
Koshi is delicious, isn't it? It's my favorite brewery in Chiba as well as Kangiku. I drank Hekibusei the other day and liked it so much that I'm going to buy it again when it comes out on draft 🍶.
I love Sakasui no Dawn ✨
Hi Nokoaki 😃Thank you for your comment...
I am glad you are with me 🥹.
Please drink Sakasai no Dawn, it is really delicious!
It's the best of the Koshi, in my opinion 🥰.
Hi HinaHanaMama 😃
Kouko-san was really into it for a while! The last time I drank it was about less than 2 years ago😅I've been enjoying some of the gentler ones lately, so I think I'll try it for the first time in a while 😋.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby😄Thank you for your comment♪
There was a time when you were into Koshi... 2 years ago 🤣 I have a dry one, please get into Koshi again ❣️ I am sure you will improve your level👍
The waiter and I had a lot of fun talking about how it can only be read as koushi, no matter how you read it. It is a very dry sake, but it is much easier to drink than so-called "super dry" sake.
Koshi by Chiba Sake Revitalization Project.
It is said to be a sake made from Yamadanishiki produced in Chiba Prefecture.
Crystal silver color.
Plenty of apple, pear, and white peach fruit. Ethyl caproate type.
Elegant sweetness like mellow yet fine-grained top-fruit, with a smooth acidity that extends. Bitterness is faint.
This is delicious and to my taste.
Crystal silver color.
Aroma of fruits, mainly banana and melon, but also apple and pear. Isoamyl acetate type aroma may be predominant.
Aromas of cooked rice, joshinko (rice flour), and other rice aromas, selfeil. Whey and yogurt.
Attack is strong. Slight sweetness and sweetness from alcohol, with a firm acidity there, and a full-bodied bitterness in the aftertaste.
Gutsy and drinkable.
