We had a few bottles of Jyushiyo left, so we brought an additional bottle of Naraman. This is the product of a business deal with a sake master. This is one of the sake recommended by the teacher. There is a slight hint of alcohol in the topping aroma, but not enough to be bothersome. The mouthfeel is full of sweetness, umami, and acidity, with a strong umami flavor, but the acidity nicely wraps it up. From the fruity aftertaste, the acidity and bitterness gently close the bottle. I've got a photo of the lion dance from the other day, so I'll upload it here. Don't abuse me, I said sake without permission. 〜Selfish rice balls are delicious! Thank you for the food!

The other day, my wife brought some Jyushiyo when she had a Hanami girls' party with her girlfriends. I brought home an extra 1.5 gou of sake, so I rudely shared it with the mother of the izakaya. The appetizer was boiled flounder and soaked spinach. It was fresh, fruity, and sweet! There was also a slight gassy feeling. It finishes with a mild acidity and bitterness. It has a strong presence that does not lose at all to the sweet and fatty flounder. Wonderfully delicious! Please don't abuse me, sake words on their own! 〜Spinach is best when the root is red! Thank you very much for the food!

Hi Colonel Lal 😃. The red part of the spinach root, I love it. I love it 😆 together with boiled spinach. It's the best 🍶.

Hello, Hanapin 😁. I know, right 😋I'll take just that part if you want! I'm sure you'd love it 👍 By the way, what do you put on top of the soaked vegetables? I'm definitely a fan of chopped seaweed 🤘.

Colonel Lal, here we go again 🙂. I've never tried the chigiri nori before, I'm really curious to try it. I'd like to try it 🤤I've never tried it before. I've never tried it 🤤I guess I'll have to try sesame paste or dried bonito flakes, dried bonito flakes, garinomoto, and shoyu 😅. I think I'll try it with sesame paste or dried bonito flakes, garinomoto, and shoyu😅.

Thanks for the response, Hanapin-san 😁. The classic is sesame seeds and dried bonito flakes 😋 Ajinomoto & soy sauce makes everything taste better 😋. I'm sure you'll enjoy it with soy sauce, nori, and your choice of mentsuyu.

The last in the lion dance series is a kudoki. It was a bit of a pajampa-yan by now, but we managed to complete the tour in the evening. Is it less sweet than kudoki? Or is it more acidic? Either way, it was delicious! This year, I had a lot of emotions, and I laughed and cried during the lion dance parade. My friends may have been a bit disappointed, but personally, it was a good festival! Thanks for the food!

Hello chika 😁. The result is a sweet, tasty and acidic composition that is not typical of kudoki-tei 😊The acidity and the closing bitterness in particular are nice accents 🤘.

Last weekend was the annual festival at a local shrine. This year, too, I participated in the lion dance procession as a member of the shrine's Ujiko (shrine parishioners). During the parade, which goes from house to house, we look forward to the sacred sake from the local people's "Resting Gaiin". What kind of sake did you encounter this year? First up was Ishikawa's Jokigen. It was 20 minutes into the tour, so there was no need to rest, but we were grateful for the sake. What I wonder about every year at this house is an old jar of Manazuru. When was it made? Phone number 5. Thank you very much for your hospitality! The lion dance series will take a break from the sake language.

Cherry blossom viewing season has finally arrived in Sendai! Despite working the night shift, my wife and I went to Nishi Park on a cherry blossom viewing date! With a bottle of chilled shochu and a bottle of shochu on our backs, we went to bathe in the flowers. The weather was warm and sunny, and there were food stalls. After drinking Hyosai Sour 500 at the warmer, it was time to open the bottle of Hana-yosu. Because I had to carry it on my back, I couldn't drink only the top clear liquid, but the ginjo aroma was too gorgeous and the mouthfeel was full of flavor and acidity. This is the true "Hanahayo Kuyu". We were allowed to use the paid seating by the kitchen car as a service, so it was warm in the evening and we had a great hanami experience. Don't abuse me, I'm not allowed to say sake without permission. 〜It's twice as much fun when there is a stall that you like! Thank you for the food and drink!

Hi Ponchan 😁. Sendai is around the end of last week ✌️ I stocked up on hana-yaki for this one 😋. My favorite food stalls are Marutoh Chikusan's Hiroshima-yaki and Kurukuru Okonomiyaki 😊. I've already posted about Kurukuru, so search for it 🤘.

My wife and I went to a nearby izakaya for dinner. Oh, I've been out drinking three times in a row, but don't worry, they are all on different days. I was drinking Toyobai at the restaurant when I got an e/g call, so I ran home and brought in some Souup. This sake is one of my memories from years ago when I was shocked by how good it tasted. The top-tasting aroma is a fluffy ginjo aroma. The mouthfeel has a clear sweetness with a firm umami flavor. The aftertaste is fruity with a hint of sake. The closing acidity and bitterness are clean and crisp. It was not what I expected because the bottle was just opened, but I am sure it will turn into something better if it is left for a few days. Don't torture me, I'll just say sake words on my own. 〜I prefer stockings to raw legs. Sorry for the trilogy of leg fetish perverts! Thank you for the treat!

Izakaya started by a friend of mine in a rather close neighborhood. The selection of sake is not quite as large as I would like, but the chef is apparently very good. The sashimi, for example, is prepared in a way that you can't find anywhere else in Japan. In Tokyo, people are already excited about Hanami (cherry blossom viewing), but not here yet. The color of the sashimi is a nice alternative to hanami. Hachisen in pink. Surprisingly, this is the first time to try it. It is refreshingly fruity, and the alcohol is not felt. After this, we went to the second restaurant with the owner who was drinking with us. Actually, this was my second visit to the restaurant, and I had already had Yamamoto and Akabu on my first visit. Don't abuse me, I said sake without permission. 〜The woman's legs are also a flower! Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Previous Little Drinking Record We found Shinshu Kamerei for an extra charge! Since there are only limited opportunities to drink it in Kochi, I ordered it without any hesitation. Perhaps because the bottle had been open for a while, there was almost no gasiness. Still, it has an exquisite balance of sweetness, flavor, and acidity. Aftertaste full of fruitiness. It has a refreshing sharpness. Everything comes together at a high dimension. Please don't abuse me, I said sake without permission. 〜I felt spring when I saw women's legs on the street... Thank you for the treat!

Challenge Product Honjozo Mizutoki Mizutoriki is a Junmai brand of Kesennuma Kakusei. This Honjozo was born out of the desire to offer quality local sake at a low price, even in the midst of the recent high prices. It does not have much of a topping aroma, but when you take a sip, you can taste the mellow sweetness and umami flavor. In addition, there is a moderate sense of tanginess, or rather wildness. It would be good with bonito when it is in season. The sharpness is also very good! Personally, I think it is the best sake! If you see it, please give it a try! Please don't abuse me. 〜I want to go fishing in Kesennuma! It was just a wish, but thanks for the food!

I've been anxious every day since I switched workplaces. I have changed my job and my position, and it's hard to grasp the work just from the handover period. After work, I go home, have dinner, and watch TV while I sleep. Let's put aside the trivial talk and have a drink, Eiko-Fuji! This sake was brewed for a contest, and the sweetness and flavor unique to Eiko-Fuji soaks into my tired body! As the day goes by, the acidity becomes more pronounced, and it has a different flavor than when the bottle was first opened. In my opinion, I prefer it after a few days. Don't abuse me, it's just a sake word! 〜I'm not sure what to expect, but it usually works out.... Thank you for the food!

March 20, the middle day of the Spring equinox, we went to visit graves. We traveled from Sendai to Ishinomaki, then from Ishinomaki to Sendai via Kami, and finally to Sendai, a triangular 150km trip within the prefecture. On the way, we enjoy visiting a local sake shop and a ramen shop that we have frequented for more than 30 years. This is a familiar course that we always stop by on the far shore of the equinoxes and during the Bon festival. In the middle of the tour, we brought back a bottle of Kotobuki from the mountain. It does not have a lot of aroma, but as advertised, it has a clear, dry taste with a strong umami flavor. It is a good sake with a light acidity and bitterness, so you will not get tired of drinking it. Don't abuse it, it's just a sake word. 〜When it has umami, you can look forward to visiting graves! Thank you very much for your kindness!
