Drinking outside at a neighborhood izakaya that has recently become a familiar place.
The mother's cooking skills are excellent, and you can enjoy a glass of Toyobai while savoring a delicious home-cooked meal with a rustic flavor.
The appetizers of the day were Sanriku wakame (seaweed) with ginger ponzu sauce and fried cod with Oboro sauce. I was so engrossed in eating that I did not take any pictures. Sorry for being such a slacker. Both dishes were excellent, and the sweet and spicy fruity Toyobai was a perfect match.
