Sake meter degree: +3.8, Acidity: 1.5 (reference) Fat: 7/25 (bottle opened 8/23) This sake won the Platinum Award in France in 2018, and I tasted and bought it during my business trip to Nagoya on 7/19! Origin of the name *From the label The name "Two Hundred Eighty-eight Nights" comes from the fact that it took Mr. Takakura 288 days from rice growing to sake brewing in 1999, and Mr. Uno, who inherited his will, brewed it faithfully according to his teachings. I didn't notice any particular aroma after opening the bottle, but it had a refreshing-like feeling. The refreshing taste on the palate reminds me of a beautifully dressed young lady in summer clothes with a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel 😍. I had noticed it on Hirupeko's post and was wondering if it was sold at Haretoke, but I didn't realize I could drink it here... Mukashi no Mamma Special Junmai. The label on the back says "Mahoroba Kaguwa Yeast", which is a type of yeast often used in Aomori sake? 🤔 It was delicious. ✨️ The third and fourth pictures are the ruins of Otaka Castle, where the outpost of the Battle of Okehazama took place. GW 4 days 3 nights with wife, 1,500km round trip🤣 We went on a Sanriku car trip 🙂. We stayed one night near Sendai and went to Sanriku. We had an ume (sea urchin) lunch box at Kuji station, and spent the second night in Miyako. Miyako's sake brewery, Hishiya Sake Brewery, Senryo Otokoyama. Seafood Cuisine at Murekou, a long-established bar that has been in business for over 45 years. Today we had fresh and delicious seafood dinner at Today, the restaurant was run by a pleasant elderly couple, who were basically just a customer with a reservation, but they were happy to help us at the counter.
