We found a new product at Yamaya!
We've been enjoying the Junmai Ginjo Nama Sake in white packets for quite a while, and now we have a Daiginjo Nama Sake in a gray packet.
The price is also a bit expensive: 1,800 ml Jungin is priced at 1,980 yen, while the Daiginjo is priced at over 2,500 yen. However, I think it is quite reasonable for a raw Daiginjo.
The nose has a fruity aroma, but it also has a strong alcohol taste.
The mouthfeel is light and dry with a hint of sweetness and ample umami. While the fruity aftertaste is felt, the acid bitterness at the end is crisp and clear.
It was hard on the first day, but the flavor gradually opened up and was good from the second day.
It goes great with salted sea squirt from Kai On-chan, the shop where we always buy sea squirts.
Don't abuse me, I'm not allowed to say "sake" without permission.
〜Hoya is great with sake in summer or winter!
