First time drinking at Japanese Sake Festival Osaka ③. This is Okuhida-san, which I really got for the first time 😀. The first green sparkling sake was quite tasty, but the one that surprised me the most was this Tokujun Hi-ire 😇. The nuance of the flavor was more like Jungin than Tokujun 😀 It had the flavor of rice, but also had the taste of rice. The overall flavor was cohesive while still having the deliciousness of rice 😀. I heard that this sake is also available in a raw type, but unfortunately it was not exhibited this time 🤣. But I would like to taste the raw version again 😀.

Hi Yasube, 😊I've only had it about 4 times, but I like the first green a lot 🥳. It's good both fire-roasted and fresh 😋. I've had it about 4 times 🜸 but the raw one is even better (personally), so please give it a try 🥰.

Japanese Sake Fest Osaka first time drinking (2) The first booth to have a big line up every time was Saku-san's booth 😅. Of course I've had Saku-san many times, but this is actually my first time to try their impression series 🤣. This is fire-brewed ❓🤣. It's surprisingly fresh and delicious 😀. This time they brought Impression's M and G. I preferred the M more 😇. This is a drink I would like to drink at home slowly 😀.

Good evening, ma-ki-chan 😀 When I started sakéwa 3 years ago, I used to drink a lot of saké and kaze no mori, but since I got to know a lot of saké through sakéwa, the number of saké I want to drink has increased and I haven't been able to drink both lately 😅.

First time drinking at the Japanese Sake Festival Osaka Series (1) Last Saturday and Sunday, I participated in our family's annual Japanese Sake Festival 😀. In the summer, I participated as a volunteer staff for both days, but Kaorin, who participated as a guest on Sunday, complained that it was no fun unless we drank together, so this time I participated as a volunteer staff only on Saturday and as a guest with Kaorin on Sunday 🤣. I took Kaorin to greet the brewers at the booths of Gobashi, Taido, Akita Meizou, Mie-no-Kanmei, and others that I have known for a long time, and then we started tasting 😇. Even the volunteer staff could do a few tastings, but on Saturday I was in charge of following up with volunteers who were helping multiple breweries, so I could only taste and sample the sake from my brewery so that I could explain the flavors 🤣. Since there were no restrictions on this day, I mainly picked up sake that I hadn't tasted yet🤣. First of all, Adachi Nozou brewery who has been making craft sake in Takatsuki city complex for a while now 😀. This is their first time participating in the Japanese Sake Festival 😀. All the sakes were interesting and full of ideas that are typical of craft sake 😀. I found this lychee especially good at reproducing the taste of lychee😇. I decided to buy a coke to create a buzz... small bottle 😅.

☀️ The 12th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower🍶. The person in charge of Shijikizuru-san was in front of the booth. He was giving some kind of explanation and we decided to wait 🤗. Hmmm... Umeshu and sake... My turn came 😁. ⚫︎Shimeharihari Tsuru Jun It has a crisp taste that is typical of Niigata 😙. It has a thin, soft sweetness that makes it easy to drink 😄. ⚫︎Umeshu I'm not used to drinking plum wine 🥃. They make it with plums, sugar and sake 🤔. It seems to have a strong sweetness and a thick flavor that is perfect for sipping 😁. ⚫︎ plum wine Shimejirizuru Junwari The person in charge said, "Please leave half of the plum wine. The person in charge said, "Please leave half of the plum wine. ❗️ Then what do you think⁉️ The sweetness was reduced and the balance of sweetness became superb 😳. This is easier than drinking those sweet sake 🤔... Rough trick of splitting the sake with Shimehari Tsuru, as expected from Shimehari Tsuru 😆. As the first part of the event came to an end, I had a chance to say hello to the two members of Sake-no-wa and left the venue 🚶. This is the end of my post on the Japanese Sake Festival 🤗.

☀️ The 12th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower🍶. ⚫︎ Saku Masanochi Nakadori There was a huge line at the beginning of the festival, so we tried to get it at the end when it was empty 😚. The sweetness of the sake makes you feel relaxed ☺️ The bitter taste comes out later, but the aroma is softly wafting and leaves a lingering aftertaste. I thought "Nakatori" was different from the others 🥰. ⚫︎ Keishin Koshigaraku The rice used for this sake is called "Koshigaraku. Sweet and sour like apple🍎 with a little carbonation and a tangy tongue 🫧. ⚫︎ blazing manzan nigori It is refreshing and light for a nigori 😙. ⚫︎ Moe Ina Ippozumi This is also a brand name of Blazing Man. The main flavors are umami and bitterness, but the aftertaste is refreshing 😙. It is refreshing and easy to drink 🧐. Ippozumi" is made from rice grown in their own fields 🌾.

☀️ The 12th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower🍶. ⚫︎Takayuu When you hear the word "extremely spicy", you don't have to be a master of spicy sake to be interested in it 🤗. When I tried it, it was indeed very spicy 🥵. It kind of makes my tongue tingle 💉. It tries to cover it up with bitterness, but the tingling persists 💉. ⚫︎ Taido Kame no O Hiyoroshi It is clean & clear with umami and bitterness. There is a sense of being soaked through 🫠. ⚫︎Yamazakuromo This is also dry and clear😙. It has a slightly bitter taste. ⚫︎ Iori It was described as a refreshingly fruity Yumachi, but it's hard to say if it can be called refreshing as it still has a slightly ricey 🌾 feel 🤔. There is also a slight bitterness, so even though it is closer to fruity, it is a sensation that has not been swept away 🧐.

☀️ The 12th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower🍶. ⚫︎ Hamafukutsuru CRAFKAN This is a sake for warming up, created by young employees in a serious attempt to create a sake that goes well with warmed sake 🍶♨️ Start with room temperature. ♨️ It is slightly sweet, but has a strong mouthfeel. Next, warmed sake♨️ The strong mouthfeel disappears and it's really refreshing 😳. It goes down your throat easily and flows into your body 😊. When I told the guy at the booth that it would go well with Japanese food like grilled fish 🐟, he gave me a big smile and said "that's exactly what I was thinking 😁" 😆. I'm glad we can agree on the pairing 🥰. ⚫︎ Hamafukutsuru Junmai Daiginjo It won an award🏆 but was completely eclipsed by the heated sake 😓. If only CRAFKAN wasn't here 😇 ⚫︎ Mie no Kanmei Gen. So called fruity taste with decent sweetness and umami 😊. I think it's a standard taste in sake for gold medal 🤔. ⚫︎ Mie-no-Kanbai This one is different, dry. It has a stoic throat 😎. The description says it has been reborn with a mellow taste, but I thought it might not be mellow... 😌 one day at a Japanese sake festival.

☀️ The 12th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower🍶. I looked back at my photos and I drank quite a bit😅. Some of my notes are not so good, so I'll mainly post the drinks I remember 😆. ⚫︎ Sachihime It's a sake from Saga prefecture and I'm drinking it for the first time 🍶. I can tell from the romanization that it is read as "Sachihime Egushi" 🧐. It has a light sweetness and a slight astringency. It has a light sweetness and a slight astringency. Unlike Nabeshima and Shichida, also from Saga, it does not have a thick flavor 🤔. I learned one thing about this kind of sake in Saga: ❗️ ⚫︎ comet It uses apple yeast 🍎. It has a strong acidity and a little sweetness. It is like ripe apples🍎. ⚫︎Gohashi This sake has a refreshing impression with sweetness and slight bitterness 🍶. ⚫︎ Okuhida Shiboritate Nama Sake It is a raw sake with 17% alcohol by volume. It has sweetness and umami with a slight minerality. The slight acidity assists the crispness and allows you to continue drinking without becoming sluggish😙. It is the perfect image for a long autumn evening 🌙.

☀️ The 12th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower🍶. Yasubeyesan and Pekkaaru have already posted about this event, but I was able to meet Yasubeyesan and Umaumaiyesan😄. After arriving at the venue, I was walking around drinking to see if Yasubeyesan was there ...... and drinking was never my priority 😤. I was at the Shikai Kai O booth when I had had a lot to drink 😳. ⚫︎Shikai-O Yasube poured me a drink 😆. I am honored ❗️ The sweetness and umami are well balanced. It was well balanced and easy to drink like the middle of Ginjo-shu. After talking with Yasubeyesan for a bit, he told me that Umaumai-san was also working there, so I went to greet him at the booth he was in charge of 😌. When we were getting our drinks, Yasubeyesan introduced us 🙏. ⚫︎Koumu Mr. Umaumai poured it for me 😆. I am honored ❗️ The sweetness and umami are strong, but it goes down your throat smoothly. Thank you for participating in the brewery opening 🙏1️⃣ 3️⃣ After the 12+1 bottles of Yasubeyesque selection, it's time to choose your own sake from the cellar and fridge 😀. If there is any sake that caught your eye or that you are interested in, feel free to choose it and drink it with everyone 😇 The first one to take the lead was my choice for the bouken challenge... I chose this one, which I thought bouken, the heavyweight in the Kansai region, would not be drinking 😀 I had been a volunteer at the Japanese Sake Festival. When I was a volunteer at the Japanese Sake Festival, I heard from the brewery that this was the first time they had opened a booth in Kansai. I was confident that I could succeed in the challenge, but to my surprise, bouken-san had already had it at the Kokusake Fair, so I failed the challenge 🥲. I was also at the Kokusyu Sake Fair but didn't notice 🤣.
