The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival
Umaisan wanted to go to Inatahime, so we went to the Inada Honten booth.
We drank
Junmai Ginjo Inatahime Strong
It was my first time to drink hi-ire, and although it was not fresh, the taste was less peculiar and more refreshing than the draft.
Junmai Ginjo Inatahime Strong Nama Nama
This is the raw version of the first sake we drank. It has a slightly unique flavor that is both fruity and peculiar.
I've been writing the same thing for the past 2 times😅.
Inadahime Super-harsh Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu
It is easy to drink even though it says "super-harsh," and has a strong umami flavor and richness.
Top Mizuharai Junmai Sake
This sake is for the local market and was named by Heihachiro Togo.
I think the label also says it was named by Togo.
It has a classic, but gentle and relaxing taste that gives a good impression.
They also have Top Suitai Josen, which I'm more interested in 🤔.
I met Mr. Lutemi when I was browsing in the basement sake shop after leaving the venue 😁.
The end
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival ⑫
Nemuchi-san and Toji-san, who had visited the previous day, recommended Kame-no-o Kijo-zake, so we went to the Tenmei booth!
What did they drink?
Tenmei Kame-no-o 65 Hon-nama
It's a kijoshu, though it's not written on the bottle. It was the first time for me to try it, but it seems to be a product that has been around for a long time. It seems that they don't release it every year because it can't be made unless the base sake is prepared.
As Eiji-san said, it is melon-like sweet and tasty.
Akigari Nama Jungin beautiful autumn Otsukimi
I tasted it because I thought it was rare to have a raw sake made in autumn.
I think it was because I drank Kame-no-o first, but the taste didn't leave any impression.... I definitely should have had this one first💦.
I was pushing my cart through the venue and was embarrassed to be told by strangers that I was buying a lot of sake 😅! It was so embarrassing😅.
This is for two people 🙄.
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival (11)
After visiting the Eiko-Fuji booth again, we went to the Daigouji booth.
Mr. Toji Murakami was there!
Kumano Town, where the brewery is located, is famous for its calligraphy brushes.
Takashimaya doesn't seem to carry them, but he decided to participate in the event because of a chance encounter.
We drank
Bodaihashi Junmai Hachitan Nishiki 65
Gentle taste with a touch of acidity and lactic acidity
Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki 55
Clean and refreshing, but with a strong umami flavor.
Junmai Hachitan Nishiki (Magin) 65
A little citrusy. It was less spicy than the same label sake I've had in the past.
I heard that they don't need permission to call themselves Bodai Hashiroshi, though it used to be different in the past.
I heard that they met with the Bodai-Hashiroshi research group and they said "please use it".
I was asked if I was a restaurant owner since I had a lot of sake in my basket and Umaisan's basket. He asked me if I was a restaurant owner 🤣.
Sorry I didn't buy it as I already had 7 bottles in it 🙏.
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival 10
Visit the Nippon Izumi booth recommended by Yonesuru's sales staff.
The proprietress who is often seen at events? She was very friendly and helpful.
What we drank was
Junmai Ginjo Funakakuchidori Unfiltered Nama-shu
No picture💦I didn't like the taste when I drank it in the past, but it was fruity, quite sweet and delicious 😋I also drank it at near room temperature, but it changed like another sake!
Toyotomi Hideyoshi Junmai Ginjo Boa Sorci Limited Nama
Fresh and fruity, but clean and mild.
Junmai Daiginjo-Unfiltered Nama-no-Genshu Funakakuchidori
More subdued and calm than the previous two.
Takashimaya original, it said.
Junmai Ginjo colander filtered nigori sake
Probably a draft sake. Dry, refreshing and dry.
It has a koji-like taste.
I have never been able to get into Nippon Izumi, but this time I had a pretty good impression of the taste 😊.
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival (9)
The famous salesman was here!
All fresh sake lineup 😍.
We drank
Kame-no-chikara Kame-no-o Junmai Nama-zake
Not sweet or fruity, but the umami strength left a strong impression 😋.
Yone-no-chikara Kame-iki Special Junmai Nama-nazake
There have been exceptions in the past, but only Yonetsuru uses rice, Kameiki.
The main flavor is the umami of the rice rather than the floral or sweetness. Seems to be good with food.
MARUMASU YONEZURU Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjyo (blue, red, green)
I've had these three in the past, so I'll be brief 😅.
Blue is the most fruity, sweet and delicious.
Red is sweet but more dry.
Green is more mature but a little sweeter.
Junmai Ginjo Super Shiboritate
I've had it in the past, but it's still as gassy, fresh and juicy as before.
Super-harsh junmai light nigori nama
It says "super spicy" but it's not as spicy as it says, it's dry, refreshing, and shuwa. The salesman said if you want something spicy, just drink shochu😁.
Junmai Namaisake Happo-Nigori
It's silky and shwitty. It has a bit of acidity, and you can taste the umami of rice and koji.
Soukai Dry Sake Junmai Namaisake
This sake is also said to be dry, but it is not so.
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival 8
Nozomu's booth. Hankyu's Tochigi Sake event was only for Sanbana, but Osaka Takashimaya is a special distributor, so they can bring Nozomu too!
I drank
Nozomu Junmai Daiginjo Omachi Unfiltered Nama Sake
Very gorgeous, fresh, sweet, delicious, and juicy😍!
Nozomu Junmai Daiginjo Senbon Nishiki Unfiltered Nama-shu
Deep umami and sweetness. A little bit of bitterness in the second half😍.
Nozomu Junmai Ginjo Hitogokochi Unfiltered Nama-shu
No picture because I bought it. Similar to the top two, but just the right balance 😋.
Sanbaku Yamahai Junmai
Easy to drink, even for a Yamahai sake 😍.
Sanbana Junmai Ginjo
I had this at Hankyu the year before last and it's still as good as ever😍
Sanbana Daiginjo
I was also allowed to drink a nice one.
Very elegant, gorgeous, round, sweet and delicious😍.
I heard that Sanbana is only available locally, but if you negotiate with a distributor, you might be able to order it. They said they might be able to order it for you if you negotiate with the distributor.
The three Nozomis were especially eye-opening and shockingly delicious!
I didn't buy much, but it made me realize that I need to drink more!
The proprietress?
She was very funny and entertaining with her light-hearted talk!
She also told me to come to the Tochigi sake event she holds every year in Osaka, but it was a weekday 🤣.
Tochigi love 🥰 even at Takashimaya!
Good evening, bouken😃.
I like the comparison of Nozomu-san and Sanbana-san 🤗.
And the Nozomu-san from Tochigi that you bought ‼️ is very tasty 😙.
Love Tochigi, Nozomu ken-san 🥰.
Hi Jay & Nobby 🌦️
It's been a while since I've had a drink, but they're all so good 😻
I've never had any of these despite the name and the fact that I haven't had any 😅
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival (7)
Frozen Sake booth (2)
This is also the first time I've seen Hakushika in this series.
I think they may have sold it in the past, but I don't think there was any tasting at the time I went 🤔.
I've only seen Shiroshika's raw sake that is ultra-filtered and can be distributed at room temperature, and it doesn't taste like raw sake 😅.
Unlike Shiroshika's previous nama-shu I've had, this is fresh. It's refreshing and easy to drink, but I think it's a little hard to grasp the characteristics.
I would say the impression is weak.... It seems to be a good sake for everyone or as a food sake.
The most popular frozen fresh sake is Gobashi, and I was told it was the last 2 bottles, so I bought it 😋I guess you can't go wrong with Gobashi 😁.
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival (6)
The booth of Frozen Namaisake, a must stop at the Sake Festival
They said we could drink almost everything except Gobashi, so we decided to try a sample.
I chose Tamanohikari, which I had never seen before, since I had already bought and tasted a lot of it in the past.
Umaisan was drinking Kamoizumi!
Compared to the past Tamanomitsu sake, it seemed much fresher and sweeter!
I wonder if they serve this as a regular draft sake? I wonder if it tastes better because it's frozen 🤔
This is one of the best Tamanomitsu I've had so far!
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival (5)
Tsuchida Sake Brewery, a brewery that boldly calls itself a perverted sake or a perverted brewery 🫶.
They brought a large number of lineup.
The active nigori was a paid tasting, but I've had it before, so I don't mind!
I wanted to drink a lot of different kinds of sake and talk with them, but it was crowded all the time, as if there were a lot of enthusiasts 💦.
I chose the one I don't think I've had in the past, the F, which seemed to have a strong taste.
The acidity is amazing. The acidity was amazing, and the strong flavor and complexity made me feel a bit uncomfortable for a moment! But I could taste the sweetness and it was delicious!
It's not the type of sake that you can drink a lot of at once, so I thought it would be fun to drink it with soda or juice, and enjoy it in various ways.
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival (4)
Laughing Four Seasons Booth
We didn't bring Sensation, but the main lineup was fire-brewed Monsoon.
The brewer only offered plastic cups to Umaisan, so I was a little bit annoyed, but he shared some of what Umaisan was drinking 😅.
I drank Monsoon Tamaei Hi-ire!
It's fire-brewed, but it's still a quintessential Shiki, sweet and fresh!
I was a bit disappointed with the first one, so I left with only one type of beer💦.
Congratulations to bouken on your 4300 check-in 🎊🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉!
You have surpassed it in no time 😊👍.
If you don't get a lot of response at events, you tend to go through a lot of other things 😁.
Thank you, Ponchan 🙇.
I didn't prepare any special drink so I decided to make it a Kiri-number here 😅 sometimes the drink is good but... 😅 sometimes the drink is not 😥.
bouken, I know I'm late...but congratulations on your 4300 check-ins 🎉you're stealth as usual 🙄 lol sorry to hear about the four seasons, it was delicious 😅we haven't tasted together lately, we'll have to go back 😉.
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival (3)
Kibotsuru, which Icoma-san has started to handle and I have more chances to drink.
Thanks to Uma-san, I was able to drink it smoothly 🙇.
We drank
Velvet Fire-brewed
I drank Velvet raw before, but unlike the raw, it had a calmer taste.
Toutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutoutout
Mizuhashiro sake. It has been 2 years since the last mizu-hashiroshi.
It was delicious, with no peculiar taste, and the mizu-hashiroshi sake had a Kibotsukuru-like flavor.
Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki
Polishing rice 35%, the one Maru-san drank before.
Gorgeous, beautiful and luxurious taste.
Junmai Daiginjo Kitashizuku
Polishing rice 40% Maru-san drank this one too 😁.
This one is sweeter than Yamadanishiki, which I prefer 🤔.
Greetings
Gentle sweetness 😋I think he said it goes well with sweets
Hiyoroshi
I forgot to take a picture💦I bought it last year and drank it, but it's still delicious!
Super dry, fire-brewed
Forgot to take a picture💦It's not that spicy and easy to drink
The owner and her daughter? and daughter? and the managing director? and the managing director?
I thought the tote bag was a little nice😃.
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival (2)
From here, we joined Uma-san and went around together.
He is a very energetic brewer, isn't he? He seemed to be a very nice guy 😁.
We drank
Hitokui-iwa Hi-ire
Special Honjozo? I wonder if it is?
Unlike the image of Tamagawa, it was refreshing and somewhat light and dry.
Junmai Omachi Yamahai Unfiltered Nama-shu
It was dark and heavy, but had a good sweetness.
Junmai Ginjyo Omachi Unfiltered Nama-junshu
It is a little more reserved than Yamahai with a touch of sweetness and omachi character. I wrote "heavy" but there were also glimpses of cleanliness, and it was also delicious.
Hello bouken-san!
I haven't tasted the Hitokuiwa yet, but I see that it is light and dry 😳I think I prefer the naturally brewed (Yamahai) Omachi Tamagawa that you have also tasted 😋!
The 8th Osaka Takashimaya Sake Festival ①.
I couldn't go on Saturday because of work, so I joined the festival on Sunday.
Before meeting up with Umaumauma-san, I went to the Eiko-Fuji booth for some sake that I had heard from Nemuchi-san, who had joined the festival the day before, that there were only a few bottles left!
No one from the brewery came to the booth.
We drank
Asterisk Dry Junmai Sake
It's a light and refreshing dry type of Eiko-Fuji.
It has a more classic atmosphere than the retro fresh-stored sake we had the other day.
Gravity Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Nigori Sake
This sake is only available at this event.
Nigori sake often has a bitter taste, but it was sweet and juicy and delicious.
ZEBRA Ice temperature aged Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake
The rice is Gohyakumangoku. It seemed to be spicy, so I didn't drink it until now, but it had a strong umami flavor and was sweeter than Gravity.
Shin Shin Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Tengami
This is a sake made from "shinryoku" (divine power). This is the first time I've seen this sake, but I searched for it and found that it has been in the lineup for a long time.
It is gorgeous but not too flashy and has a calm taste 😋.
Daiginjo-Ko Sake Hitori Yogari (Old Sake Brewer's Hitori Yogari)
This sake is made with 40% polished rice and costs almost 5,000 yen. This is the first time I've seen it.
I thought it was an aged sake because it says "Kozakaya" on the bottle, but it was beautiful and had a little sweetness to it.
It looks like they had about 10 different kinds lined up, but all the others were sold out. I guess it's one of those things where you don't get to go to many events.
They also sold a sake that cost about 120,000 with a 1% milling ratio 😳.
bouken, good morning 😊Mannequin said that she doesn't know why Kuranjin-san couldn't come anymore. The others were already sold out💦Did you get what you were after? Did you go to Daishichi?
Hi Nemuchi ☀☀☀.
The one I was after was replenished and pretty much there, or they said it was only for what was in line 🤔.
I haven't been to the big seven 💦 did you find anything good?
The other day, I visited Heiwa Dobrok, which opened this spring in Osaka Takashimaya 😀.
It is a store where you can drink and buy not only Dobrok but also Heiwa Shuzo's Kido and Heiwa Craft Beer😇.
But it looks like the store is not yet registered at Sake-no-wa 🤣.
I recently became a certified sake taster and have been telling everyone around me that sake is good, and they often ask me what is good for a first time sake drinker 🤣.
The first sake I recommend to them is Junmai Daiginjo by Kido 😀.
I think it is a must for first time sake drinkers because of its drinkability and cost-effectiveness😇.
But after thinking about it, I have been drinking this Junmai Daiginjo when I go to Heiwa Shuzo for rice planting and harvesting, but I realized that I haven't drank it at home for a long time 🤣.
I realized that I haven't had it at home for a long time, so I drank it at home today 🤣 I was able to reconfirm that it is a delicious sake with a good price that even first-time sake drinkers will never go wrong with 😀.
Good evening, Yasbaye🌛Peace Dobrok, I glanced by the other day: ✨️ I haven't been able to stop by due to other business, but I'm sure Kido is well distributed and cheap🤤Let's get swamped with the power of a certified sake taster: ☺️
Good evening, Mr. Yasube.
You can't go wrong with Kido-san. ⤴️
I see you have opened a good store in Osaka Takashimaya 😲.
I'll have to go there next time🤗.
I'm glad more people are interested in sake 😊.
Hi Nao888 😀
You're right... you've already checked out the shop😇.
They have seasonal dobrok and it's fun to drink in the store 😀.
I have two acquaintances who recently started drinking sake after I introduced them to Kochira's sake 😇
Hi, ma-ki-chan 😀
We are on the same floor as Takashimaya's sake department, but quite far away from it, so please look for us 🤣.
If more people like sake, the industry will be more vibrant😇.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😀
I think it's a great way to get people to know the taste and enjoyment of sake, especially if it's accessible, reasonable, and easy to get into 😀.
I don't know many sake drinkers around here, so I'm slowly gathering a few friends 😇.
Nemuchi and key shop -> purchased at Takashimaya after going to Sukumasa
The person who came was Mr. Murashige, president of Murashige Sake Brewery😊.
According to the internet, he is 36 years old. He was younger than me 😳.
Not that it matters, but are Murashige Brewery and Anna Murashige related? She's from Yamaguchi 🤔.
Sake brewed with Kyokai #8 yeast, which is not used very often.
It's a test brew so it only has a label on the back. I was holding it down with my hand so it was fine, but when I opened the bottle the cork blew out 🤣great gas pressure even though it's fire-brewed😳.
It's a very complex and interesting sake with a firm sweetness. Low alcohol content and easy to drink 😋.
It has a lactobacillus drink and pickle feel to it and it's pretty kinky, so I guess I should have made this my offline drink 🤣.
After a few days, the pickle feeling gets stronger and harder to drink💦.
There's a sake brewery in front of Shin-Iwakuni station on the Shinkansen line that's super close to the station so everyone should go 🚅.
Hello bouken 🐦.
There are many things about this sake that interest me 😆 It's rare to find a brewery near a train station and I'm related to Anna Murashige! I jumped on it 🤣.
I'm sure the cork will fly out, it has a pickled feeling, is it a certified perverted sake? 🤣
Hi Pon-chan 😃
I looked at the map and it's really in front of the station, it's a level of surprise 🤣I'm from Yamaguchi and you said your father's family was rich, so maybe you're related to him by a distant relative or something? I thought 🤔
Personally, I think it's a perverted sake 🙄.
After buying some sake at Sukumasa, we left the store and were greeted with rain and winds like we've never experienced before.
I thought to myself, "This is a typhoon," but my umbrella was overturned and my shoes and pants were soaking wet💦.
If only I had bothered a little more at Sukumasa, maybe I wouldn't have gotten wet 🤣.
Moved to Namba and went to Takashimaya while watching the liquor section of Ikari supermarket.
MURASHIGE SHUZO who brought a strange sake that was dry but sour at last year's Takashimaya Sake Festival!
I heard that the perverted sake was sold out, so the main sake was Kinkan Kuromatsu.
We drank
Junmai Daiginjo
It is labeled as -8 on the sake meter, but it has a classic taste with not so much sweetness. It tastes not like a daiginjo and is very unique.
It looks good heated up. A little nutty?
Junmai
I heard it's a sake for evening drinking, but it has a lot of acidity.
This is also a classic, but it has acidity and is easy to drink.
Junmai Ginjo
Less acidic than Junmai. The most orthodox, but not memorable.
Junmai Daiginjo Nishiki
Beautiful taste, but less flamboyant.
I also tasted a 1 year old junmai from MURASHIGE and 3 types of EIGHT KOTT, and bought the test brew of EIGHT KOTT because it was delicious 😋.
Finally, I stopped by the sake department of EDION and went home 😊.
It is fresh, slightly bubbly, with a delay in the arrival of umami and moderate sweetness.
The sweetness seems quite reserved among Eiko-Fuji wines, but it is usually delicious!
It is dry and even a little spicy, but the Eiko-Tomizi character is clearly felt.
I've always wanted to try this sake and was able to purchase it at the Takashimaya Sake Festival.
A little expensive for 3㌥ 😅.
It has a unique flavor, but it's gassy and almost like grapes or melon. It's juicy, sweet and delicious 😋.
There's a little bit of cemedine, but it doesn't bother me too much because the sweetness and gasiness outweigh it.
Tastes like peaches when the temperature goes from icy to cold.
The spoils of the Takashimaya Sake Festival.
Mr. Tsuchida, who boldly calls himself a perverted brewery.
Thick, rich sweetness. The second half is a bit bitter. It may be the sweetest Tsuchida I have ever had. The level of metamorphosis is a little reserved.
The acidity becomes crisp when you drink it with ice. I thought it was supposed to be served at room temperature because it is Tsuchida, but I'll have to try it cold as well.
If you drink it cold, it has a refreshing sweetness that makes it easy to drink.
Loot from the Takashimaya Sake Festival
Brilliant, juicy, sweet and tasty.
Slightly pineapple and rummy.
A little bitter at the end.
I remember that the ogara-mi version of this sake that I drank at a Gifu sake event was very tasty!
