Nemuchi and key shop -> purchased at Takashimaya after going to Sukumasa
The person who came was Mr. Murashige, president of Murashige Sake Brewery😊.
According to the internet, he is 36 years old. He was younger than me 😳.
Not that it matters, but are Murashige Brewery and Anna Murashige related? She's from Yamaguchi 🤔.
Sake brewed with Kyokai #8 yeast, which is not used very often.
It's a test brew so it only has a label on the back. I was holding it down with my hand so it was fine, but when I opened the bottle the cork blew out 🤣great gas pressure even though it's fire-brewed😳.
It's a very complex and interesting sake with a firm sweetness. Low alcohol content and easy to drink 😋.
It has a lactobacillus drink and pickle feel to it and it's pretty kinky, so I guess I should have made this my offline drink 🤣.
After a few days, the pickle feeling gets stronger and harder to drink💦.
There's a sake brewery in front of Shin-Iwakuni station on the Shinkansen line that's super close to the station so everyone should go 🚅.
After buying some sake at Sukumasa, we left the store and were greeted with rain and winds like we've never experienced before.
I thought to myself, "This is a typhoon," but my umbrella was overturned and my shoes and pants were soaking wet💦.
If only I had bothered a little more at Sukumasa, maybe I wouldn't have gotten wet 🤣.
Moved to Namba and went to Takashimaya while watching the liquor section of Ikari supermarket.
MURASHIGE SHUZO who brought a strange sake that was dry but sour at last year's Takashimaya Sake Festival!
I heard that the perverted sake was sold out, so the main sake was Kinkan Kuromatsu.
We drank
Junmai Daiginjo
It is labeled as -8 on the sake meter, but it has a classic taste with not so much sweetness. It tastes not like a daiginjo and is very unique.
It looks good heated up. A little nutty?
Junmai
I heard it's a sake for evening drinking, but it has a lot of acidity.
This is also a classic, but it has acidity and is easy to drink.
Junmai Ginjo
Less acidic than Junmai. The most orthodox, but not memorable.
Junmai Daiginjo Nishiki
Beautiful taste, but less flamboyant.
I also tasted a 1 year old junmai from MURASHIGE and 3 types of EIGHT KOTT, and bought the test brew of EIGHT KOTT because it was delicious 😋.
Finally, I stopped by the sake department of EDION and went home 😊.
It is fresh, slightly bubbly, with a delay in the arrival of umami and moderate sweetness.
The sweetness seems quite reserved among Eiko-Fuji wines, but it is usually delicious!
It is dry and even a little spicy, but the Eiko-Tomizi character is clearly felt.
I've always wanted to try this sake and was able to purchase it at the Takashimaya Sake Festival.
A little expensive for 3㌥ 😅.
It has a unique flavor, but it's gassy and almost like grapes or melon. It's juicy, sweet and delicious 😋.
There's a little bit of cemedine, but it doesn't bother me too much because the sweetness and gasiness outweigh it.
Tastes like peaches when the temperature goes from icy to cold.
The spoils of the Takashimaya Sake Festival.
Mr. Tsuchida, who boldly calls himself a perverted brewery.
Thick, rich sweetness. The second half is a bit bitter. It may be the sweetest Tsuchida I have ever had. The level of metamorphosis is a little reserved.
The acidity becomes crisp when you drink it with ice. I thought it was supposed to be served at room temperature because it is Tsuchida, but I'll have to try it cold as well.
If you drink it cold, it has a refreshing sweetness that makes it easy to drink.
Loot from the Takashimaya Sake Festival
Brilliant, juicy, sweet and tasty.
Slightly pineapple and rummy.
A little bitter at the end.
I remember that the ogara-mi version of this sake that I drank at a Gifu sake event was very tasty!
Spoils of War at the Takashimaya Sake Festival.
Sake I regretted not buying at the same event last year.
It says it needs to be refrigerated, so I asked about it and was told it was once-fired. The rice is Nojoho.
The rice is Nojoho, and it is more rounded than the other sake I have had in the past, with a rich sweetness in the second half. I don't like hiyaoroshi, but I like this one.
Nuts in the aftertaste as the temperature rises.
The third one is smoked duck and Mimigarh from Smokeya, which I bought at the Takashimaya Sake Festival!
The duck was good, but the Mimigarh was especially smoky and delicious 😋.
Loot from the Takashimaya Sake Festival
Seems to be made at a different location than Houraisen.
All rice used for Ichinenfudo is Yumesansui.
When I tasted it, I thought it was sweeter, but it is a refreshing summer sake with a spiciness that is mainly dry with a hint of sweetness.
It tastes like melon when you roll it on your tongue.
Hmmm, is it tasting magic or temperature range 🤔?
Loot from the Takashimaya Sake Festival
There was also a fire-brewed version, but I bought the 3㌥ here because they said you had to be in the brewery to buy the draft.
It has a ricey, schwarziness and a strong alu feeling at the end.
Might be the first time I bought and drank doburoku 🤔.
Loot from the Takashimaya Sake Festival
Craft saké from Adachi Nozo Brewery, brewed in Takatsuki's Tomida Danchi
Made with Tomiichigo from Minoh and Hinohikari from Takatsuki
It was harder to open than I thought it would be 💦 because it was so much more vigorous than I expected.
Sweet aroma of strawberries. Slightly effervescent, a fusion of strawberry sweetness and sake-like flavor. Low alcohol and easy to drink.
Empty in no time 😋.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival⑬.
Last stop after the frozen raw sake!
I forgot to post this 💦.
They seem to specialize in doburoku!
I drank
Genryu Doburoku Kamidai, fire-brewed
It has a rice flavor and is not so sweet.
Genryu Doburoku Kamidai Nama
It has a strong and powerful taste.
I bought 3㌥ of the raw because they said it was only available locally😊.
There were other breweries I was interested in, but I left because I was about to go on a spending spree😅.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival ⑫
Another major company, Kizakura's Frozen Nama Sake!
It seemed cleaner and thinner than Ozeki's.
I wanted to drink Hakusetsu, the sake brewery closest to my house, but there was no tasting, so I gave up on purchasing it😿.
I was also allowed to try the Sasanogawa nigorigo, but since I drink it at home, I'll skip it...
Hakubotan was still thawing, but it had melted a little and I was allowed to drink it!
It was the best frozen nama-shu I had that day, and several staff members recommended the White Botan, so I bought the White Botan and left 😊.
I also bought some smoked fish from Smokeya.
Tasted and bought duck roast and mimigar 😁.
The Tsuchida booth poured a cup full of it and I got wonderfully drunk 🤣.
Then we went to Edion and bought some mixed juice beer made in Nishinari and drank it 😋.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival (11)
I decided it was time to go home, so I went back to the frozen fresh sake booth for the last time.
3㌥😁😁
After a detailed explanation by a person who wasn't there earlier, I was told to try this one, which is sold in supermarkets, but don't be fooled, this is what I drank!
I'm willing to drink the big ones too, so I won't make fun of them 😅.
Fresh and fruity!
It's delicious and has a good umami taste because it's a raw sake 😋.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival 10
It was spectacular to see the Kinkame line up from 20 to 100 (unpasteurized rice) 😁.
I tasted 30 to 70 for a fee for 20.
I didn't go through the 80-100 zone because I've had it before 🤣.
I drank
Ai 40 Nama-nazake (raw sake)
It's gorgeous and maybe the sweetest flavor? No sense of perversity at all.
I like this one the best.
Green F30 Nama-nazake
It's like a more beautiful version of indigo, and gorgeous!
Sake that doesn't lose to ice.
Sake to be drunk on the rocks. Gutsy and a little classic.
Kuro 50 Nama-no-Mazake
Beautiful and mild ginjo aroma. A little spicy.
Green 60 nama sake
The gorgeousness starts to disappear around this point.
I've tasted this before, but 60 seems to be the spiciest.
I forgot to take a picture💦.
Tea 70 nama sake
Different type from the highly polished one, but a little heavier with more sweetness and umami. Forgot to take a picture💦.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival (9)
The first thing they said to me was, "It's called a perverted brewery!
When I told him that I was here because of that, he just slapped me on the shoulder like "Oh my God! After that it happened a few more times🤣.
He was also at the Sake-1 Grand Prix, but he was talking a lot more than at that time 😅I wonder if it's because he has to sell?
I drank
Tsuchida Yoro-Jo-Kawaba Wooden Oke Brewing GI Tone Numata
Flagship of Tsuchida. It has a calm atmosphere and a little richness.
Tsuchida Bodai-moto x Nama-moto
Easy to drink but with a complex flavor. Spicier than other Tsuchida's?
I would like to drink Bodai Hashiro by itself.
Shin Tsuchida Active Nigori Nama
I've had it in the past, and it's delicious again 😋.
Honor Kunimitsu Oze no Kido 2024 Ver.2
This sake is full-bodied with a firm sweet flavor. It's only available in Gunma Prefecture.
Research Brewing 33 Thuchida12 No.7 yeast brewing
It has a strong umami and sweetness. It was my favorite.
Thuchida12
It is more refreshing than 33, but has a strong umami.
Kawaba-no-kaze
Low alcohol content, but you don't feel like it's low alcohol.
Forgot to take a picture💦.
I wanted to drink something else, but more and more people were coming, so I left!
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival 8
Craft Sake Brewery Association booth
Next up was Iwate's Heiroku Brewery's LAYER
There was an apple I was curious about, so I drank it.
Founded by Yuki Hirai, a member of the Hirai family who left the Kiku no Tsukasa Brewery
It's refreshing and slightly sweet and sour.
Just like Mr. Adachi said, it's like apple cider vinegar.
Hi bouken 😀
I see you had 🤣 apple on the shelf 😀.
I actually bought this sake at Hata's because it was recommended by your husband 😀.
What? I didn't give it to him because I thought it could be counted as sake 🤣.
Good evening, Mr. Yasube.
I was curious about this since it was in stock at Hata 😁.
It's registered as a brand in Sake no Wa and the process is almost the same as sake so I don't think it's a problem to post it 😊some people have posted shochu 😅.
Good evening, Mr. Hirupeko.
I felt that there were not so many people there compared to other booths, so I had to go! So I rushed there 😁.
It was nice to see you, Mr. Adachi 😊.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival (7)
Craft Sake Brewery Association Booth
Mr. Happy Taro was not present that day, but Mr. Adachi allowed us to taste his sake!
I think this might be my first time drinking doburoku🤔.
I drank
Something happy Kiki Uki Uki Hop
It has a fizzy and rough feeling of doburoku and sweet taste, but the mouthfeel is very smooth.
Something happy fresh herbal tea
I just opened it and drank it 😁.
The menthol or maybe even the hackberry-like flavor hit me with a gulp at first and made a big impact. I think it was in my face🤣.
Mr. Adachi, who drank it at the same time as me, also reacted "Oh! He had a reaction 😊.
I fell right into Taro's trap 🤣.
I forgot to take a picture 💦.
When I'm with Nemuchi, I'm mainly in charge of taking pictures and Nemuchi is in charge of talking, so I can concentrate on taking pictures 😅.
I forgot to take a lot of pictures this time💦.
Hi bouken 🐦.
Ping 🤣.
I've been enjoying your reviews, this time with the brewery and the interaction between the two of you, but I think the duo definitely has more oomph 😆👍.
Good evening, Mr. Nemuchi.
Usually I'm so focused on the photos and tasting that I miss the precious stories of the brewery owner 🤣This time I remembered it just fine 🤣.
Good evening, Ponchan.
I don't have a lot of advance preparation like Nemuchi, so I thought it was difficult to pin because I sometimes didn't have a good conversation depending on the warehouse 🤣would it have been better to do it solo? 🤣
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival (6)
Craft Sake Brewery Association Booth
A rare opportunity to see craft saké from all over Japan at one place
Mr. Yoji Adachi of Adachi Nozo Brewery and one other person came to the booth, but I didn't know who it was...
Mr. Adachi took care of it.
We started with Adachi Nozai Brewery's sake.
He told us that he brews his sake in an apartment complex in Takatsuki and that he does everything by himself.
The sake we drank was
MIYOI Craft STRAWBERRY
I bought it because it was the best of its kind with rich sweetness and fruitiness 😋.
MIYOI Craft Malibu at the danchi
Made with pineapple and mango. Clean sweetness compared to strawberry.
MIYOI ORIGIN
It is said to be once-fired. It is made with raspberries, but it seems to be the same as regular sake. Is it a standard sake?
I think the label was designed by a famous game creator, but I forgot 😅.
The other person who came was the head brewer of LIBROM.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival (5)
Takashimaya Buyer's Select Booth
Amidst the Midorikawa and Akizuka brands, there was a corner for frozen nama-zake, which we have been paying attention to for a long time.
The sake is frozen in a special device, so the price is over 1,000 yen for a 3-ounce bottle, but there are some rare and rare breweries in the lineup, so I'm personally interested in this genre of sake.
There were a variety of sake breweries on the shelves, from major makers to local breweries, but only a limited number were available for tasting, so I tried Nara's Gokami.
I even went to the front of the brewery the other day 😁.
Gokami is not registered as a brand name even though there seems to be a good number of people drinking it.... I wonder if I have to tell the management about it?
When I came to Goshin's tasting and sale at a department store, it seemed fresher than the sake sold there. It's just in between sweet and spicy, and flat.
There was something I wanted, but I told them I'd come back later because it would melt if I put it in my basket and went around, and then I left.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival (4)
We already know it's delicious, Kozaemon
We drank
Junmai Ginjo Bizen Omachi Nama
Very fruity, sweet and delicious!
I told him that the ogara-mi I drank at an event in Gifu was delicious, and he said the ogara-mi was in the best condition. I forgot to take a picture but I bought it so...
Junmai Ginjo Hiyahoroshi
Clear and fruity type!
I thought I had seen this label before, but I had drunk it outside in the past. The rice is Miyamanishiki from Gifu.
Junmai Ginjo Hidahomare
The aroma is refreshing and gorgeous.
I wonder if the fire-aged version is similar to the type.
Daiginjo
It was about 1500 yen, so it is cheap even though it is a daiginjo. When I asked why it was cheap, they told me that it was cheap because it was made from rice called "Asahi no Yume". This one was also refreshing, but had a rich, daiginjo-like ginjo aroma.
I was so sweaty that I couldn't even keep up with wiping with a handkerchief, and the brewery staff gave me several paper towels saying, "Please use these.
