Today's sake is from Inagashira in Ina City in southern Nagano Prefecture❗️ its Jungin Fukuro-tori unfiltered raw sake❗️❗️
The aroma is of a fresh raw sake❗️As you take a sip, you get a dense texture on the tongue, followed by a raw tingling sensation and a sharp bitterness, and then a sweet aroma of fresh and crisp alcohol leaves the nose❗️Good as a mealtime sake⭕️
We are now in the rainy season, and this year's rainy season is quite extreme: when it rains, it pours, and when it's sunny, it's extremely hot, almost 30 degrees Celsius 😅.
I've been doing some light walking to acclimatize to the heat, and I'm getting used to it, but my face is getting really burnt 🌅.
Now that I've worked up a good sweat, let's have a drink tonight 🍶.
Inokashira: Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai Gold Course
Finally opened May's bottle. June's bottle will be here at the end of the month, so I need to save some space in the cellar 🤣.
[Gugumini!]
Aroma of mellow rice that reminds me of apples, a really faint feeling of gas on the palate, a light sweetness and umami, and a lingering aftertaste that is calm and crisp.
[Mokkiri]
Aroma of mellow rice, a smooth and clean sweetness and umami, followed by a firm acidity and a lingering bitter taste on the tongue.
The other day I saw Ao-chan eating a "Yokowa" and it looked so delicious that I decided to have it with some "bigeye tuna sashimi" and "horse mackerel tataki" that I had just found, and some "comte cheese" that I bought at a cheese specialty store in Fukui called "Happy Cheese" (🧀).
I don't have to tell you that the fish went well with the rich, slightly stinky taste of the comte cheese, and it was a marriage that seemed to melt in your mouth.
Good evening, Mr. Jive.
The rainy season is a difficult time to spend with humidity and extreme heat ☔.
I see that there are still a lot of delicious sake in Nagano Prefecture: ⤴️
I've never actually seen it 😲.
Looks delicious paired with fish 🤤.
Good morning, Jive 😃.
Walking is a good way to get fit, and an easy way to start adapting to the heat 👍But then again, soba noodles in Fukui always look delicious ❣️The soba noodles are thick, aren't they⁉️Katsudon set is a great deal 🉐.
Good morning, ma-ki-!
It's the most uncomfortable and buggy morning today, so I'm worried about the weather from now on😅.
Nagano's rich nature is very unique, but all of them are delicious 🥰.
Good morning, HinaHanaMama ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
My work is so extreme that if I don't exercise and keep up with the heat, I'll have hell to pay in the coming season, so I'm getting used to it now 🥰.
Soba in Fukui is "country soba", so it's thicker 🍜.
Good morning, Manachie!
It's thicker by default, so some restaurants may offer [thinly sliced] as an option✨.
How about churutto refreshing soba and cold sake in the hot season?
💧
Ingredients: Rice (Nagano Prefecture), Rice Koji (Nagano Prefecture)
Alcohol content: 15%.
I was a baseball fan in my company and we talked about applying for 200,000 yen box seats at Hamasuta. 200,000 yen for 8 people is hesitant even if you are a baseball fan. I would pay half if they would come to the Hanshin game 🐯 but they said no😢They don't want to go to the Hanshin game because it's not safe. Yeah, I understand 🤣.
So I decided to ask for help 🐎. Last week's Derby, I couldn't win just by naming my favorite numbers, only by trying to win a million tickets 💦This week's Yasuda Kinen, I chose it accordingly, even though I was told, "It's a buy based on the experts' predictions. Now, let's see..!
And today's sake was Inogashira, which has a cooler label because it was hot. Of course, it is a hanpukai, so I did not see it at the Nagano station last week. Like yesterday, it is a ramune with a sweet taste at first sip. I love the way it goes down so smoothly and soaks into your whole body. It's delicious 😋 It has a slight bitterness in the middle of the meal, which also goes well with it. I drank it all up in no time and had some of yesterday's Oze Snow as well. I still have some left over.
Kasuga Sake Brewery Inogashira
Sweet, clear, apple-like aroma.
The sweet, umami, and sour taste spreads, and the bitterness comes slowly. The lingering aftertaste is rather long 🥰.
At Kadoya-san in Mukojima.
It has a sweet taste, but it's a bit on the dry side.
It will leave a bitter taste in your mouth afterwards.
It is easy to drink and goes down smoothly.
I have been ordered to attend a training course, which will ruin my precious weekends.
I'm tired because I have to use my head, which I don't usually use 😓.
I gave the impression that I was doing a lot of work, but about half of it is sleep study.
So, I'm going to switch my mind to mahjong mode with the Inokashira that I received.
I drank it with a clear, thin, and refreshing acid.
It seems I didn't switch over well, and I lost a rag. I'm hoping for a good night's entertainment in Fukuoka, Mr. MAJ♪
This is the seafood-based Jiro-style ramen that Setagaya is doing. It was delicious with tender chashu pork and garlic guts.
At home, I am reverting to beer at first.
Good evening, Mr. Manachie! Flavor Soukai Nishite is good, isn't it? It is Sapporo, but it has a taste including the story of Niigata. I can just barely finish the Jiro type, but the garlic smell is awful.
Inokashira: Unfiltered unpasteurized sake.
The first bottle of May in the Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai 2025 Gold Course is Inogashira by Kasuga Shuzo.
It is a challenge sake from Inogashira, which is known for its delicious food sake.
It is fresh with an apple-like heady aroma and a hint of gas. It has a mild sweetness, a rich umami, a beautiful acidity, and a firm bitterness that finishes with a refreshing aftertaste.
