After the Nabeshima sake comparison was successfully completed, I chose Sakune new sake 😀 . We compared Nabeshima New Moon and Jun Daidai Tashizuku 😀. I chose this sake from the fridge because I thought it was the only sake that would be competitive with the two Nabeshima's 😀 It has a solid taste and is delicious 😀. It is a delicious sake with a strong taste 😀. However, I think the taste is too strong compared to Nabeshima's two bottles 🤣. But for some reason, this sake is new but it's not raw 😅. So I tried heating it up to lukewarm 😀. Hi...it tasted different 😀. When I had it cold, it had a very sharp new sake impression, but as soon as I heated it up, it became rounder and the taste calmed down 😀. It's fun to see the changes in sake 😀.

The fridge is wide open...back 😀 Yesterday we had a bit of a jump in between birthdays, but today we're back to Jikin as planned 😀. Today we opened a bottle of Nigori, which we got in a 4-round lottery for Jikkoman 😀. Actually, the lottery at that time was a choice between 30 Daiginjos and 15 nigori 😀. The odds were against the Daiginjo, but as a nigori lover, I gave up on the Daiginjo and tried the nigori 😀. I had half given up because the odds were so low, but I was lucky to win 😀. My impression of Jigori-Nigori was that it was the most robust nigori sake I've ever had 😀. I compared them to the same Jigori-Omachi and Aizan, but I always feel that the nigori is sweeter when I compare them from the same brewer, but for Jigori-Omachi and Aizan, I felt that the nigori was rather sweeter 😀. But only for Jikin, I felt that Omachi and Aizan were rather sweeter than Jikin 😀 But I liked this nigori the most 😀. In my opinion, the order of deliciousness is nigori -> Aizan -> Oumachi, but of course it is a matter of taste, and I think it is probably a matter of preference for each drinker 😀. I think that every Jikin has its own unique taste and is a very enjoyable sake 😀.

Refrigerator Open ③. From today, we are going to start the drink comparison project 😀! First of all, we will compare the 4 consecutive winners, that one, that one and this one 😀. The store where we bought the sake, Yamamoto, is the one we started patrolling for new sake after we started Sake-no-Wa 😀. This store has an irregular lottery for Jigokan, and I won the first time I applied for it 😀. I got the Tojo Yamadanishiki, opened the bottle immediately and was drowned in the deliciousness 😀. Next time I won the lottery, I decided to keep it for a while because it was too good to waste, but then the miracle happened that I won 3 bottles in a row, 4 bottles in a row in fact, and 3 bottles have been occupying my refrigerator for a long time. The store owner told me that it was the first time for someone to win that many bottles in a row, and Pon-chan told me to buy a lottery ticket, so I asked Kaorin to buy one for me 😅. Kimoto Heated Sake Drinking Comparison on the 4th day🤣‼️ We compared the sake made from the traditional sake yeast.... We also compared the heated sake 🍶. Both Yamadanishiki and Omachi are originally very refreshing I'm glad I didn't have to drink them warmed up 💦. I think we didn't need to try it heated 😅... But it was still delicious! Today's snowman is Ozeyuki 😀. I don't want this snowman to melt 😀. The two snowmen to drink are the two snowmen of Izumibashi and Shinomine 😀. Is it the first time in a long time that your wife has said something wise 😅. I'm sorry, but I'm not sure. This sake is not sake: ⁉️ If it's not sake, what the hell is it ❓😅😅 I think she probably wanted to say that it's a very clear and beautiful sake without the alcohol taste that she doesn't like 😀. I thought it was such a beautiful, easy to drink, yet delicious sake 😀. The snowmen also all have their own personality, so it's quite an interesting drinking comparison 😀. And the labels are cute 😀. By the way, the back label of Oze Yukidaruma is also snowman shaped and cute 😀.

For today's new sake, we chose Houou Mita's Heki-ban new sake in honor of our Tochigi loving sakewa friends 😀. For comparison, I chose Winter Higuma, Sanchi and Mutsu Hatsusen Nouveau 😀 😀. I can't even compare them 😅. I would say that the freshly opened Sanshu has the best taste, but the freshly opened Houou Mita was the best 😀. I can't even begin to compare good sake 😅. After all, they are all delicious 😀.

First time at Yamashiroya. I've always been curious about it, but missed buying it every year😅. The sake is made from a traditional sake yeast yeast yeast. I think it's rare to have a sake yeast yeast in Niigata. It has a fresh and gassy flavor with a hint of citrus. It is easy to drink, with a sweet flavor that you would expect to be more pungent. It seems to be made under the concept of a food sake, but it can also be drunk on its own. It is not flashy or assertive, but it is very tasty. It's like a serious honor student character that there is at least one in your class 🤔. It may be one of the best sake among all the kamishimo sake. It's spicy but much sweeter than Yong which has the same sake strength of +5. If it tastes this good, I'm curious to try the first class raw sake 🤔. On the 3rd day after opening the bottle, it feels much spicier than the first day. Is it better to finish it on the first day for those who like sweet and tasty sake? It's been a super long time since I've had a drink at home at Yuki no Bijin. I've been wanting to have a drink ever since I heard about the heavy rain damage, but I wasn't able to drink because I wasn't in line at the right time to go... The rice is Misato Nishiki, which is not mentioned on the bottle. It has a fresh and crisp taste with a sweet muscat-like flavor. It also has acidity and is delicious. The aftertaste is short. It tastes best when it is just opened, and after a few days, it becomes more "al" 🤔.

Today's sake is a new sake from Tanaka Rokugo in connection with Kyushu 😀. I turned 65 this October, so I think I will be having it quite often until next October 😀. By the way, one of the congratulatory messages on my birthday asked if my last name was Tanaka-san. My late mother's maiden name was Tanaka 😅. Compared to the 6513 I drank on my birthday, this Tanaka Rokuugo gave me the impression of a more refreshing and clean sake 😀. Unlike the impression I had the other day, it's a bit naughty... Unreservedly like a child, yet Pure and pleasant 😌. Thick umami flavor spreads all over the mouth. Since I started looking for new sakes after learning about various sakes at Sake-no-wa, I often visit this store 😀. This store has an irregular lottery for Jigen, and I applied for it 3 times and won all 3 times 😀. The store owner was surprised that this was the first time such a lottery had ever been held 😀. When I went to the store to purchase it after winning for the third time, I was surprised to find a new bottle of Tasake on the shelves 😀. This store claims to be a Tasake store, but this was the first time I actually saw Tasake on the shelves 😀. Of course, Jikin and Tasake were with me on the way home from the store 😀. Tasake is delicious after all 😀. Today's comparison was between Takachiyo and Brahma's new sake... Mrs. Takachiyo said that Brahma was the best when she drank it without eating anything, but Tasake was the best when she ate oily food 😀. By the way, I liked Tasake's new sake the best from the beginning 😀.

Following yesterday's Abe-chan, today we had another bottle of new sake, Orikara-mi Takachiyo 😀. In our house, my wife and I drink sake on a daily basis, comparing 3-4 bottles of sake each day, opening one bottle each day and opening a new bottle each day 😀. Today we opened a new bottle of Takachiyo's new sake and had a potluck while comparing the previously opened Sansho and Abe-chan 😀. The wife said that Abechan is delicious, but she prefers Takachiyo's sake which has a gentler acidity 😀. I think I prefer Sanndo because of my memories of Kumamoto 😀. I guess the memories may also add to the taste of the sake 😅.

We have only 3 prefectures left to go before we start our round-the-Japan trip, and we had our first sake from Iwate prefecture, Akabu for the first time 😀. Actually, the AI at Sake-no-wa has been recommending Akabu for a long time, but I had been looking forward to it until now 😀 I have been a sake drinker since spring this year.... I started drinking sake this spring...spring sake, so I had never had shinshu yet 😅. Akabu's shinshu...it was so fresh and fruity 😀. Youthfulness of new sake is good 😀. And today's dish to go with the sake is the first kasuzu (sake lees) soup of the season 😀. And the sake lees for this sake lees soup is the sake lees from the izakaya we are good friends with 😀. The sake lees is moist and mellow, delicious and mildly delicious 😀. The combination of the sake lees and Akabu's new sake was a perfect combination 😀.
