DATE SEVEN is a limited-edition project in which seven breweries in Miyagi Prefecture collaborate on a different theme each year. 2025 will see Urakasumi (Saura Shuzo) and Hakurakusei (Shinzawa Brewery) as the lead breweries.
The bottle design is inspired by the town of Kawasaki in Miyagi Prefecture, where the brewery is located, and features contour lines representing mountains. It is also called the "mountain bottle.
Hakurakusei" was given to us as a celebration.
With the opening of the Koshien baseball tournament, I felt like drinking a delicious sake, so I opened the bottle.
In the mouth, it has a slight acidity and sweet flavor, with a hint of ginjo aroma that gradually leaves a lingering scent on the nose.
The label on the back says "the ultimate food sake," but I'm sorry, I didn't order it with cold tofu.
However, I would like to have chilled tofu with olive oil, rock salt, and bonito flakes. It goes well with this sake.

The aroma and taste are similar, but the final taste is a bit alcoholic.

I think I like this year's DATE SEVEN better than Urakasumi.

Due to the system at Sake-no-wa, I can only post one brewery per post, so I'm posting this as Hakurakusei, but it's a blend of Hakurakusei's yogurt sake and Umenoyado's Aragoshimikan ✨.
The master recommended this drink to me a long time ago and I finally put it into practice: ☺️
The rich taste of the yogurt and the refreshing taste of the mikan blended together so well that I would recommend this drink to anyone who doesn't like alcohol 😋.
By the way, I visited this bar for the first time exactly one year ago yesterday and fell in love with the personality of the master and started coming here 😃.
I'll be coming back regularly from now on 🙏.

Hakurakusei yoghurt wine by itself is of course delicious, but the tartness of the mandarin oranges blends nicely with it 😊.
I think it's totally possible even if it's not a liqueur, it's good 🍊

This year's DATE SEVEN was led by Hakurakusei and Urakasumi, and since Hakurakusei is my favorite, I was looking forward to drinking it.
It has a great melon aroma, and when you take a sip, the melon and alcohol hit you hard.
However, it is easy to drink, so I was satisfied.
