Late summer vacation 🌻 We parted ways with Ane-san at the sake brewery and headed to our next drinking spot 🚕Suzuki Fresh Fish Restaurant, recommended by my sister. This is a sacred place where you can drink from 9 am even on weekdays 🍶. I forgot to take a picture, but I had a bottle of beer and a bowl of miso-marinated gindara (silver cod), and for my second drink, I had a cup of sake with raw oysters and a cup of shizuhari (a Japanese rice wine). The drinks are self-serve and come from the fridge. I also had sashimi platter 😋. My sister said to me, "There were people here who drink sake like water! Just like me. I got no compliments from her, "People around me are surprised when I drink at this speed" 😆. And I knew I wanted to finish off with some ramen, so I had some spicy ramen 🍜.

Late summer vacation 🌻 After leaving work on Friday, I took the Shinkansen to go back to Niigata 🚄I asked my kids if they wanted to go to Niigata with me! I asked my kids if they wanted to go to Niigata with me, but they said no because they have part-time jobs and club activities 😊I'm going home by myself 👍. On Saturday, my sister and her husband took me on a tour of the sake brewery at Imadaiji (‼️)👍My sister is an all-around drinker too👍Which sake should we drink at my parents' house? I asked her, "Which one do you like, Megumi?" I called out, "Which one does Megumi like?" and besides my sister, a woman responded to the word "Megumi" 🙄 I turned around...to my surprise, Ane-san, a sake master at Sake no Wa, turned around at the name Megumi🤣 Ane-san is also a Megumi, just like my sister! We had been planning to meet up at the Imadaiji Sake Brewery in Niigata for a few weeks now, under the guise of a little play 😉 It just so happened that I was going home to my parents and Ane-san was going on a trip, so we decided "let's tour the brewery then" ♪ What, ⁉️ meeting at a cafe ☕️? We didn't have that thought process at all... After the brewery tour, it was tasting time for the four of us 🙌We drank as much as we do at a standing izakaya🤣and stayed more than twice as long as the other guests. We stayed more than twice as long as the others 🤣 Everyone left early. It was only a few hours but how much we laughed 😆Megumi 🟰 you can definitely read that as a drinker 😉.

I wonder if I will end up posting something silly this year too 😆 Well, it can't be helped! Let's go have fun! I don't think that tasty is usually a compliment. I drank it after a few days of drinking, and the flavor has increased and it tastes better 🙌The aroma is also fruity and refreshing. Flowers? Mango in the morning? It's definitely tastier if you leave it a little longer than on the day you open the bottle 😋🌾Fukunoka 100%🌾Fukushima sake is delicious. ❣️ I'm here: 🙇‍♀️

The sake I chose to accompany them was Urachiebijin✨. The sweetness is followed by a bitter taste. It has a bitter taste like grapefruit peel and a slight carbonation! I like this one a lot 😊Ummmah 😊Purchased at ‼️takeshon sake store. Recommended by the owner. Talked too much, laughed too much, and lost half the bottle 😅which means...I must have drunk at least 5 gou 💦. Next morning, I didn't have a hangover, but I felt bad for talking too much😅I got involved in 🙇‍♀️kino.'s get-well celebration😅I'm sure he would have loved it😏.

It's only Tuesday, but I'm out of alcohol💦I just took a day off yesterday and my hands are shaking... (that's a lie 😁) Here is a sake from takeshon, a small bottle craftsman! Is Houraisen really this good? Or have you been captivated by it since you went to Enya? ⁉️ It's so good! The aroma is too good! It's fluty and has the perfect balance of sweet, delicious, and bitter ✨. Thanks for the delicious sake😊 The second picture is of the eel shop taken from a battered light truck. If anything, the udon shop next door is a better shot😅. The third picture is a souvenir from Gifu that kino. who was not feeling well, bought with his last strength. I left this souvenir at the third party and went back the next day to pick it up 🤣This is a very rare occurrence 😆.

I got a bottle of Houraisen at the first party while visiting liquor stores! I bought a few bottles and when I tried to mail them, takeshon covered the shipping costs 🙌 and he also gave me a mysterious small bottle 😆 I'll get to that later! I was going to take a rest day, but I drank it in the evening 😅. The aroma was that of koji (malted rice), which made me think it was a matured sake. The aroma is that of koji? I thought I didn't like the aroma but.... It was so rich and sweet, it killed me in seconds! This is delicious ‼️

Lunch was at an eel restaurant called Kiya near Yoshidaya, where I had my longed-for hitsu-mabushi. I also saw the Grand Park of Nagoya Castle from the car because it was so hot! I don't play Mahjong, but Rigel is going to Nagoya to play Mahjong, so I took the liberty of joining him 😉. But it's not an offline meeting 😄. The members were Choroki, takeshon, kino., Rigel's Mahjong club, Umaumai, and Ane. We went to Enya, a restaurant where we enjoy pairing with Houraisen ✨. Choroki-Manager is as expected 👏 The restaurant is renovated from an old house and has a nice and warm atmosphere. No wonder there are so many young couples here. The sake I enjoyed the most was the combination of Kagomori and Junmai Ginjo SILVER 😋 and I used to hate miso soup with red miso, but the miso soup at this restaurant made me like it at once. I didn't know it was this good. I won't say I don't like red miso anymore😊. Gatherings of sake drinkers are scary. The sake cup is too small, the amount of sake is too little... 🤣Is there no one who can taste the sake in a ladylike manner 🤣.

I got wind of a rumor that the Mahjong Club 🀄️ was going to be active in Nagoya, so I rode to Nagoya with Ane-san 😁. We met up with Umaumauma-san, who was visiting from Osaka, and the three of us had a girls' night 💕First we had a toast in the basement of Fushimi station 💕I was tipsy after one highball and two glasses of sake 🍻The sake was Fusashimaya and Sengoku Mukunin! The Fusashimaya was dry and had a Sake meter rating of +7, but it was delicious. This trip was to enjoy Nagoya's gourmet food ‼️, so I went to a shaved ice shop to fulfill my next mission. The 3rd picture is Akafuku store, Akafuku ice 🍧 matcha shaved ice with akafuku inside was great for hot summer! Not a Nagoya gourmet 😅. Now I am going to meet up with the Mahjong club for a drink 😊.

I've been curious about this purple space since it's been posted on Sake no Wawa recently ✨ Finally got it: ‼️ Yabba! This is my kind of sake too 😋I'm so glad to see more and more sake that I can enjoy 🙌! It's not too assertive, but it has a nice umami taste that comes in easily. It has a sweetness, but with a clean aftertaste! Delicious 🤤! I drank it while thinking 😔 that it has been a little too long in the glass... it has gone limp 😔... but then I found that the umami has been squeezed out and it tastes great again 😚. The other day, I went to an izakaya I often go to by myself, ate raw oysters and drank sake... and now I'm short 100 yen on my bill 🧾😱I only paid cash 💰I gave some snacks to the lady sitting across from me and she offered me 100 yen for the snacks I gave her. I was too embarrassed and sobered up at once 😳

Today is the second day of a three-day weekend! Morotsuyoshi's store, the reason why I went here is because I remembered that takeshon-san, who should not live in the Kanto area, had seen this store's instagram for a while and recommended me to go here ‼️ when I went to Noge 😁. I talked to the shopkeeper, and he said that many people come all the way from far away to visit this store! The test brew in the first picture was dry and refreshing. The problem is the second picture. The manager of Morotsuyoshi Atsugi told me it was delicious, and it was really rich and sweet, but I had no idea what the name of the sake was 🤣I guess drunk people shouldn't take pictures 📷If anyone can help me out, please let me know: 🙇‍♀️ I had to leave because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to go home if I drank any more. I only went to 2 restaurants in Noge 😅.

Good evening, Mr. Yukachin 🎈🎈. That is a very rare sake "Kencino" ❗❗❗ It is an original limited edition sake from Tokumaru Shoten in Yokohama 🍶🍶🍶. It is from the same brewery as Genmai and is specially brewed by the toji's husband "Kenichi Chino" 😋😋.
