九州生まれの山口育ちで、昔から焼酎ばかり飲んでいました。 就職してからは、関西在住です。 60歳を過ぎてから身体作りに目覚めて禁酒していましたが、2022年のベストボディ日本大会で大会を卒業してお酒解禁。 そこから最初に飲んだ日本酒にハマり、現在は焼酎も卒業してしまいました。 最近では日本酒専用の冷蔵庫を購入して常に60本以上の好きな日本酒をストックしています。 先日、唎酒師の資格取得出来ました。

Ori Hunter 1️⃣ 5️⃣th bottle Merry Christmas😇 The second one of our Christmas Orihunter is Chiebijin's Oriramari 😀 It's a beautiful, clear pink, but the color seems lighter and there's less ori than last year 😀. Compared to Gohashi's Pink Nigori, which I compared to last year's, it tastes more like a clear strawberry 😀. I didn't feel much change in taste when I drank the supernatant and the mixed one, maybe it's because there is less ori than before ❓🤣. We have Christmas cake on the 25th, and Chiebijin-san was the best match with the cake rather than with the meal😇.

Ori Hunter 1️⃣ 4️⃣th bottle For this year's Christmas Sake, we have three nigori-style sake 😀. First of all, on Christmas Eve, here is Merry Crescent, which was brewed for Christmas for the first time by Koei Kiku 😀. The aroma is not that strong 😀. The taste is more drinkable than the usual Koei-Kiku, with less acidity 😀. The top clear was also collected, but I felt the sourness was stronger than the top clear when mixed with oli 😀. Koueikiku is also taking on a great challenge 😇

Orihunter1️⃣ 3️⃣th bottle I asked Kaorin what she wanted for a Christmas present... she said she wanted a Five T-shirt by Mr. Gohashi🤣. We are both sake idiots😅. You can buy the T-shirt at the brewery, but the shipping cost is too much, so we bought the sake as well 😀. So we opened a bottle of this peach-colored nigori first 😀. It didn't spew out and I was able to get the supernatant without any problems 😇. The supernatant, after being brought to room temperature, was a beautiful blossom pink 🩷. I could feel the firm acidity and it was full of strawberry flavor 😀. The situation changed when I mixed in a generous amount of oli 🤣. The mild oli flavor was added, strawberry milk ❓🤣. Of course, the taste of the chilled mixture was also well brought out, and all three are different, but all are delicious 😇😇 It was a good sake to enjoy the different tastes by itself rather than with a meal 😀.

🕊️🐢Hunter 4️⃣th bottle Yesterday, we successfully got our second bottle of this season's Junmai Ginjo Namaishiki Miyamanishiki from Shinshu Kamerei😇. So I decided to open a bottle of Hitogokochi Hi-ire, which I had already obtained before 😀. As I expected, Shinshu Kamerei's sake from all rice varieties have different expressions, but they are all outstandingly delicious 😀. It has a deep fruity aroma and taste, but is not cloying at all and does not interfere with the meal, but rather complements it well 😀. And it's delicious even if you drink it by itself after a meal😇. I love you after all 🐢 ❤️ Moreover, today's table was lined with cranes (Gokotsuru) and turtles (Shinshu Kamerei) from Nagano, a delicious dining experience😇.

Ori Hunter 1️⃣ 2️⃣th bottle This is a cloudy sake I got at the new sake festival at Tomihisiki 😀. It's a very energetic sake and as soon as I opened the bottle, it was automatically stirred and I couldn't get any supernatant at all 😅. It's a very energetic sake 😀. It's a pure rice nigori sake, perfect for seafood 😀. The taste of sake with a strong rice flavor, and the fact that it changes over time is proof that it's delicious 😇.

Orihunter1️⃣ 1️⃣th bottle Finally, I was able to have a bottle of Sakiyami, which I had been curious about for a while but had never tasted including the clear sake, in light nigori. I thought I had to open the bottle very carefully because there is even a cap sticker to warn people not to open the bottle, but I was able to open the bottle without any problems and was able to get the top clear liquid 😇. The moment I opened the bottle, I was impressed by the gorgeous aroma that filled the air 😇. The taste is also fruity like the gorgeous aroma, but it has a sourness from the gassy feeling added to it, giving it a beautifully clear impression 😀. The taste of both the supernatant and the mixed one is a little different, but both are delicious 😇.

Orihunter1️⃣ 0️⃣th book 🕊️🐢hunter 3️⃣th bottle Today we had a new sake from Mikotsuru... junmai dry orikarami 😀. We got it last year too, so this is the second year in a row 😀. Kaorin said it was too spicy for her when she got it last year, but this year she said it tasted good even though it had a strong flavor 🤣. I wonder if this is the progress of her taste buds in a year 😀. Kaorin said last year that this sake might taste better if it was heated up, so next time I'm going to try heating it up to lukewarm 😀.

Ori Hunter 9️⃣th book ❤️ hunter 2️⃣th bottle Since we enjoyed Saga sake at consecutive events on Saturday and Sunday, here is a light nigori made with Aizan by Koeikiku of Saga in a series of pitches 😀. I also successfully collected a bottle mixed with room temperature supernatant 😀. The top aroma was a little sour fruit...grapes and green apples... 😀 The taste was soft sweetness and sourness. The taste is a delicious combination of soft sweetness and sourness 😀. The mixture has a mellowness that is typical of light nigori, which makes it even more to my liking 😇. Ori and ❤️ are a good match 😇

Kobe Off-line Meeting Digest We had a lot of Saga sake at the Osaka Monorail Saga Sake Event on Saturday, and on Sunday we attended the Kobe Off-line Meeting 😀. The restaurant had prepared quite a bit of all-you-can-drink, but all that caught my eye was the sake that everyone brought 🤣. We had so much Saga Sake the day before, and today I'm still eyeing the Saga Sake 😀. Sake that is hard to find, such as Nabeshima's Junmai Daiginjo and Mitsutake's Junmai Daiginjo, one after the other 😇! By the way, a member of Mitsutake's brewery was at the Osaka Monorail event 😀 I believe he volunteered at the Japanese Sake Fest. I was a volunteer at the Japanese Sake Festival, and I think Umaisan was in charge of the event, but the brewery owner came to greet me at the event 😇. I was surprised that they noticed me so well 🤣. Mitsutake-san only participates in the Autumn Sake Festival, but he is a very interesting person, so please come to next year's Autumn Sake Festival in Osaka 😀.

Osaka Monorail Izakaya Saga ④ Orihunter got two bottles of nigori sake, his first drink in Saga Monorail😇. Of course, it's Ori Hunter's pride to be here, but not among the haunt's number as we are not house drinkers 🤣. Koyanagi Shuzo's Takasago nigori is an alcoholic nigori, but the rice flavor was very strong, so there was no alcoholic feeling here either 😀. Hizen Kurashin is another sake brewery that is new to me, but I would love to drink it at home if I have a chance. I would love to drink it at home if I have a chance 😀 . The Saga Sake Monorail was a delicious, new encounter and an enjoyable sake party 😇. The next Tottori Sake Monorail will be held in January, and I'm already booked and looking forward to it now😇!

Osaka Monorail Izakaya Saga (3) When I told bouken that I was going to participate in the Monorail Izakaya Saga, he told me to try this one if I had the chance 😇. Of course, I had never had this sake before and I didn't even know its name, so I was very curious 🤣. After the Nokomi and Toichi sakes, which I had never had before, this one finally made its appearance 😀. I was just about to give up when I saw the sake from a different brewery at each table 😇. Anyway, the sake was as clear as fine water, but had a great presence 😀 It was another new discovery 😀. It was another new discovery for me 😀.

Osaka Monorail Izakaya Saga (2) We were able to receive 3 kinds of sake from Motomine Tsuru, a company that has been helping us with our hometown tax payment every year 😀. The first one was Tsumugi 2025 I, the second one was Calm, and the third one was this super dry Junmai sake... all of them were definitely delicious 😇. The one that surprised me the most was this super-harakuchi junmai sake 😇. The name "super-harsh" scared me a bit, but the finish was crisp and dry, and even Kaorin said it was delicious with its rich umami flavor from the banana fruitiness of the mouthfeel 😇. I discovered something new that there is such a thing as super dry taste 😀.

Osaka Monorail Izakaya Saga ①. Today was the first Monorail Izakaya day in a while 😀. Unfortunately, last month I had a reservation for Okayama Prefecture sake, but I had to attend something else and blew the ticket 😇. There are more than 20 sakes from Saga Prefecture available, but it depends on your luck which sake will be served at which table 🤣. Our table was brought quite a bit of Nabeshima 😇 The Nabeshima Purple was consistently delicious😇 And the Special Honjozo... my family still often chooses Junmai type sake, so this was the first time we had it 😀. I was surprised at how delicious it tasted without any alkyness at all 😀. It was a great taste for sure 😇

The 8th bottle of Orihunter Today we had a bottle of Mutsu Hachisen's Nouveau Oorigarami 😀. Actually, it's the same sake for the first time in half a year 😀! Last season, I missed the timing to drink it and let the nouveau raw sit for half a year for petit-aging 🤣. As I recall, the sake six months ago reminded me of white peaches, but this time it tasted more like young fruit...a bit like a green melon 😀. I wonder if the difference in taste is due to the difference in the year or the difference in the aging process... I will have to try it again next year to find out 🤣.

Ori Hunter 7️⃣th bottle I just came back from visiting Tomikunishiki's new sake festival where I bought a limited edition of 500 bottles of sake at the venue 😀. Instead of me being the handle keeper and not being able to drink at all that day, Kaorin was enjoying various tastings, but this sake was the only one that wasn't tasted, so it was Kaorin's first time drinking it too 🤣. The aroma is only mildly sweet due to the fact that it is 70% polished rice 😀. When I put it in my mouth, I was impressed by the sweetness and the slightly strong acidity from the rice 😀. I compared the top clear and the mixed one at room temperature, and I got the impression that the top clear had more acidity, while the mixed one had the acidity suppressed by the strong sweetness and umami of the rice 😇. This sake is a rare sake that is probably only available to locals who come to the New Sake Festival, and I am so glad that I drove all the way to visit the festival without being able to drink it because it was delicious 😇.

Good evening, Pon 😀. Ori hunters are doing pretty well, but not much progress on 🕊️🐢 hunters and ❤️ hunters 😓. I did ❤️ hunters and made a little stock, but the quintessential Aiyama is all low milled rice for cheap 🤣.

Ori Hunter 6️⃣th bottle Today we opened a bottle of Hatsu Shibori Nama Sake Nigori by Jinya, another brand of Ikki Zouma, which we enjoyed twice last season 😀. Aruga Brewery demolished the old brewery and rebuilt it into a new brewery, and this is the first new sake from the new brewery 😀. I was a bit careless when I got the first bottle of Nama Nigori because I could open the bottle without difficulty, but as soon as I opened the cap and started to pour, the automatic stirring started and I almost blew out the bottle 🤣. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't get the top clear liquid, but the gorgeous aroma was impressive😇. The fresh fruity flavor from the bubbly fresh sake taste was just the way I like it 😀. The impression is that it has something in common with my favorite nigori sake Hirotogawa, which is made from the same sake rice, Yume no Kaori, and is one of the top nigori sakes I've had😇. I heard that Aruga Brewery also has a Junmai Ginjo Usugorigo (light nigori) called Seijiki Sama that is also made from the same Yume no Kaori sake rice 😇

At the same time, we opened a bottle of Hoka, brewed with Kinmon-Nishiki. The first thing to notice is the aroma... it is also a little subdued, but has a lot of fruity nuances😇. And when you take a sip... ❓ It has the same sweet and fruity taste as Toyoga, but it's a very refreshing and tasty sake 😀. Thanks to the fact that we drank them at the same time, I felt Toyoga's taste was clearer, but if we had drank them on different days, my stupid tongue wouldn't have been able to tell which was which 😅. Both sakes were very tasty and hard to choose one over the other 😇

The other day, I read Jay & Nobby's post about Toyoga and remembered the chuckle I had when I read Toyoka's previous post😇. Today I was sorting through our fridge and found Toyoga and Toyoka from the Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai, so I decided to compare the two 😀. Since it's a secret hanpukai, I don't know the specs other than the sake rice 🤣. We started with Toyooka, a Miyamanishiki sake 😀. The aroma is restrained but elegant and fruity 😀 The taste is also moderately sweet and deliciously fruity 😀. The taste also has the right amount of sweetness and fruity flavor, but it is not cloying and fades away nicely 😇. It was a delicious sake😇

Ori Hunter 5️⃣th book Crane🐢Hunter 2️⃣hon I said I would be a hunter to hunt Shinshu Kamerei this year, but since I'm here, I'd like to combine my favorite Nagano sake, Shinshu Kamerei and Mikotsuru, and be a Tsurukame hunter 😀. The first Mikotsuru we will be having now is a Shinshu secret hanpukai sake, so we got this ogara-mi. I'm not sure of the detailed specs since it was a Shinshu secret hanpukai sake 🤣. We compared the top clear sake and the mixed sake that had been brought to room temperature and the hiya state, and they all tasted great😇! Each one has a different taste impression, but I think my favorite was the mixed and chilled one 😇. They are all fruity, but this chilled mixture gave me the most fruity and refreshing taste 😀. In my opinion, the two best Nagano sake are Shinshu Kamerei's 🐢 and Gokotsuru's 🕊️(I think of cranes). ❤️ Tsurukame hunters and 🕊️🐢 hunters are the best😇

The first new sake I got this year is Sekireinaku-san from Hirai-san in Shiga, Kochira 😀. It's written in kanji on the label, but it was a bit difficult to convert 😅. I actually visited the sake brewery in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture this spring, but was unable to visit because it was just closed 🤣. The aroma was so gorgeous that it was more like Jungin than Tokujun, and the taste was full of fruitiness😇. I really want to visit the brewery next time 😇
