Another sake I wanted to get in Tochigi Prefecture
Higashi Rikishi
I heard that they serve a collaboration sake with a sushi restaurant in Katsudoki that I visited a while ago!
Apparently they store and mature their sake in a cave!
We couldn't make it to Shimazaki Sake Brewery because we had a leisurely time in Nasushiobara!
I found this Kyokusuku and Yamahai Junmai at Okanoya Sake Shop in Nishinasuno!
The Kyokushizuku was the last bottle, so we had this one!
I won't open the bottle until the Houou Mita is available, so I'll post it before I forget!
I'll post a report on the taste later!

As it is junmai (pure rice), you would think there would be some miscellaneous taste, but there is none at all!
It is a very delicious sake!
Masu sake, on the rocks with ice 🍶.
The ninth nigori of the season was "Higashi Rikishi" 💪, which I got on a trip to Tochigi.
I was looking forward to it as it was my first nigori in a freshly squeezed version!
When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was melon and cemedine-like.
The mouthfeel is clear and round. The palate is clear and round, with a fluffy flavor like that of glutinous rice.
The fruity sweet and astringent taste comes through gradually, but its assertiveness is modest and gives the impression of a moderate type.
The lingering taste is mild, like eating pears or bananas!
When the lees are mixed, the mouthfeel is smooth and milky, like butter or dairy products. And the taste is light yet mellow, calm, and full of rice flavor!
It's so easy to drink, you could go on and on ✨.
This is definitely a stable brand of nigori!
This is what we have been looking for 🤤.
My first sake after returning from my university internship in Malaysia was To Rikishi🍶☺️
I still like sweet sake, I loved the aroma and taste!
The proprietress Keiko made my favorite nukazuke fried rice with this 🥚🥒🥕🧄🫚.
I knew that the vegetables in my bran and Keiko-san's bran tasted different, which was also interesting and fun!
The third drink is a sweet nigori sake.
The label is two two gori~.
The first was a sweet sake with a thick, drawn, pure white color with grains of rice still in it.
Anyway, it is sweet, but there is also a hint of sourness behind the sweetness.
It is sweet anyway, but with a hint of sourness in the back.
When heated, it is a delicious amazake. The mouth is full of rice!
It's sweet, but also has a sourness that makes it go down a treat.
I think the can design has changed from before, maybe.
Easy to drink. I think it has more sweetness.
It also seems to have more bitterness. The acidity is also effective.
This is the first time I drink East Rikishi.
Slightly cloudy, it has a moderate, light sweetness that makes for a smooth drinking experience. It finishes with a slight bitterness. It is a little more umami than sake, so it is perfect for Japanese and Western home cooking. ❗️
After trying it for a while, it might not go well with Italian dishes with lots of olive oil, cured ham, and cheese. ⁉️
It's freshly squeezed and complements Japanese side dishes for an ordinary weekday dinner and is quietly delicious 🤤 Thank you 😋.
Hello, Powan Powan 😃
Congratulations to Hatsuhigashi Rikishi on ㊗️ 🎉!
A quietly delicious bottle to go with Japanese food 😌.
You can feel the deliciousness in every drop 💧😋.
