boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part58
Yamanashi Booth
I tried to go through the Yamanashi booth because I didn't see any breweries that I didn't drink, but I was told to go ahead 😅.
11% 1980 yen Nama-zume sake
Sparkling sake
It has a fruity aroma and is deliciously shwashy.
Not too sweet and dry to drink. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part57
Hiroshima 7
Hiba Bijin Sake Brewery, also in Shobara City
Polishing ratio 55%, Hachitan-Nishiki 15.8 degrees, Sake degree +7, 1705 yen
Sake is clear and light. I would like to try other specs 🤔.
Forgot to take a picture 💦.
There are other Hiroshima breweries I haven't tried yet, but I'll stop there.
The Sanyotsuru with the JAL look-alike label wasn't on the list at the venue, so I guess it was out of stock. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part56
Hiroshima 6
Hanazake Sake Brewery in Shobara City
Shobara City seems to be famous for cherry blossoms, which matches the brand name.
Polishing ratio 50% Yamadanishiki 15%, 2000 yen
It's a bit cluttered and off-flavored... boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part55
Hiroshima 5
Koizumi Honten in Nishi Ward, Hiroshima City
Named "Goko" in commemoration of the Emperor Meiji's party resting at Koizumi Honten
The company also dedicates sake to Itsukushima Shrine.
What is "petit"? I couldn't figure it out even though I looked at the official website😅.
The website is full of Heisei retro feeling and makes me feel nostalgic 🥺.
Polishing ratio 50%, Senbon-Nishiki 13-14 degrees, Sake degree +3.0, 1360 yen
The official website says Momiji yeast, but the liquor store's website says Setouchi No. 21 yeast.
It's a daiginjo made with rice suitable for sake brewing, but it's pretty cheap!
Slightly fruity and refreshing. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part54
Hiroshima 4
Ono Sake Brewery in Kitahiroshima-cho
I've heard of the name, but there don't seem to be any stores in Kansai where you can buy it.
A sake brewery with a history of over 300 years in business
Polishing ratio 60%, Hachitan-Nishiki, Momiji yeast, about 2,500 yen?
A little gassy, bitter-sweet.
I bought this sake and will post the details later 😊.
I've been searching for the same product but can't seem to find it... boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part53
Hiroshima 3)
Tsuda Sake Brewery in Etajima City
Sake brewery with the brand name "Shima no Kaori
Polishing ratio 60%, rice used unknown, 15%, Sake degree -1, 1600 yen
Aroma is strong, sweet and delicious, but a little heavy and peculiar.
From the label, it seems that this brewery is not brewing at the moment and is outsourcing to Miyake Honten.
I wonder if it has the same rice polishing ratio as Onomichi Juryo or the same contents as Onomichi Juryo.
But I think the taste is slightly different.
Personally, I think Onomichi Juryo and Shima no Kaori will make Miyake Honten's reputation explode. And the Chifuku sake I had before was pretty good, too. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part52
Hiroshima 2
Etajima Meizo in Etajima City
I've seen Synchronized Cherry Blossom sold on Amazon.
According to Wikipedia, it is a favorite drink of the Maritime Self-Defense Force personnel and is used as a gift for the Maritime Self-Defense Force, police academies, firefighting academies, etc.
According to Wikipedia, it is a favorite of the Maritime Self-Defense Force personnel and is used as a gift for the Maritime Self-Defense Force, police academy, fire fighting academy, etc...
Polishing ratio 60%, rice used unknown, 16-18%, Sake degree +3, 1687 yen
The official website says it's the most popular product.
I imagined it to be a hard-to-drink classic sake, but was surprised by its fruity, sweet, and modern taste!
Hiroshima continues to have a gap between the label and the product.

boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part51
Hiroshima 1
Hiroshima booth, I only drank Mitani Haru at the end of the first day, so I'm going to attack the ones I don't know even more.
Yoshigen Sake Brewery in Onomichi City.
It looks like a sake brewery located near Onomichi station, an easy place to visit!
Polishing ratio 60%, medium-bodied Shin-Senbon, 15-16 degrees, Sake degree +1, Acidity 1.6
1870 yen
More fruity than expected. There is too much gap between the label and the sake😅.
This brewery quit brewing their own sake in the 1980's and now consigns it to Kyokuho Shuzo and Miyake Honten.
Searching the database for the manufacturer's unique symbol, it seems that this product is manufactured by Miyake Honten of Chifuku. ジャイヴGood evening, bouken!
I've been to Onomichi many times, but I didn't know there was a sake brewery there 😲.
I'm going to visit Onomichi again this year, so I'll do a little reconnaissance 🥰. boukenHi Gyve, Hello ☀.
I have a feeling that you are not well known even though you are in an easy location to visit 😅.
Gyve-san's brewery visit and review 😊. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㊿
Chiba ⑦
Takizawa Honten in Narita City
Chomeisen is a good name, isn't it? I think I might mistake it for Ishikawa's Chosei Mai though😅.
I remember an actress named Mai Hosei.
Polishing ratio 45% Yamadanishiki from Hyogo Prefecture / Omachi from Okayama Prefecture 15
Sake degree +2, acidity 1.4, amino acidity 1.2, 3,650 yen
Combination of Yamadanishiki and Omachi
Rather normal fruity dry type 🤔. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 ㊾
Chiba ⑥
Koizumi Sake Brewery in Futtsu City
Sake that you know the name but have never seen before
Polishing ratio 60%, Grain Sake, 15% -1, 1870 yen
Fruity and muscat-like. It is a modern type.
Cheeba-kun facing the front is cute.
I was so desperate to drink at the sake fair that I didn't have the time to buy the sake that is not available in Kansai 😅. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㊽
Chiba ⑤.
Kamogawa City's Kameda Sake Brewery.
I think they were at the Kintetsu Department Store Harukas event around 2019, but my memory might be wrong 🤔.
Seems like I was buying Shounosato and Nenohi at that time😅
I remember being surprised to see a bottle of Kotobuki Mangame sitting in the kitchen of Mayumi Ono, who moved to Chiba a few years ago and used to do commercials for Acom and now does commercials for overpayment claims 🤣.
Polishing ratio 33%, Special A grade Yamadanishiki from Yoshikawa, 17%, Sake meter degree +3
Sake price: 8,800 yen
The most expensive sake I had at the Kokusyu Sake Fair after Sakunaguwashi 😳.
Gorgeous, fruity, and a little spicy. It has a very good sake feel to it.
I should have tasted it a little more 😅. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 ㊼ Chiba
Chiba ④
Yoshino Sake Brewery in Katsuura City
Koshikoi, I know the name and have seen it sold, but this was my first time to drink it!
15.5 degrees, Chiba rice, Sake strength +2.1, 1,386 yen
It is a classic but has a nice taste. It has a classic but nice flavor and is refreshing.
A popular sake that has been enjoyed by the locals for a long time.
They are too reluctant to bring "Kamisen" out of their various lineups. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 ㊻ Chiba
Chiba ③.
Inahana Sake Brewery in Ichinomiya-cho
They have a brand name "Inahana Masamune".
The official website says it is the original brewery of flat rice polishing.
I've seen this sake at Kobayashi Shoten in Osaka, and I think I've seen it at a liquor store in Moriguchi.
Polishing ratio 60% (flat polished rice), rice used undisclosed, 15.5 degrees, Sake degree +1
M310 yeast, 1362 yen
The aroma is like ripe fruit. The taste is refreshing and suitable for eating. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㊺
Chiba 2
Mr. Nabe store in Kanzaki-cho
I drink a lot of Fudo, but the guy at Katsushika recommended this sake that I like. How about it?
Polishing ratio 50% Akita Sake Komachi 15.8 degrees Sake degree -4 1870 yen
Fruity and well-balanced sake.
I think it tastes richer than the price and is good value for money.
By the way, this place was bought by a traditional brewery, right?
I was surprised to see Fudo, but I wonder if it's not because of management problems, but because of lack of successors or something like that. まつちよGood morning bouken 🌞.
I looked at the website and it doesn't say it's a stock transfer, so it doesn't look like a full takeover 🤔.
But it might be interesting in terms of cost reduction since they can purchase rice through joint purchasing. boukenHi Matsuchiyo-san ☀☀☀
I guess it's not management difficulties or lack of successors, but economies of scale, or the advantage of being part of a large capital 🤔.

boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㊹
Chiba ①
Kubota Sake Brewery in Noda City
Noda is associated with Kikkoman
Katsushika = Katsushika?
The brewery's staff was there.
According to online information, the brewery's toji is in his early 30s, so I think he was probably the one who came.
He said that the sake is not sold outside of the prefecture and is not well distributed even within Chiba Prefecture.
Not only sake, but mirin (sweet sake with sweet sake flavor) is also famous.
Polishing ratio 60%, domestic rice, 15.5 degrees, Sake degree +3, 1210 yen
It is a classic sake, but has a moderate sweetness. It's the type of sake that should be drunk at room temperature or warmed up. As other reviewers wrote, it tastes like mirin (sweet cooking rice wine) for some reason.
It's a little peculiar, but it's delicious!
We were talking about how our brewery is located far away from the other breweries, and when we looked at the map of sake breweries posted around us, it was clear that we are in the same area as the other breweries, and that we are not in the same place as the others.
Takara Shuzo Matsudo Factory
Godo Shusei Tokyo Factory
Nagareyama Kikkoman
Nikka Whiskey Kashiwa Factory
was on the list.
Nagareyama Kikkoman manufactures Hokusai, a sake for cooking, and Nikka Whiskey Kashiwa factory manufactures Ichibanfuda, a shochu liqueur. ジェイ&ノビィHi bouken 😃.
Noda is J&N's hometown 🥹, but I've never had a drink from Noda 😅.
I moved to Noda when I was in elementary school and I remember being surprised by the smell of soy sauce wafting in the air at first 😆. boukenHello Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀.
What a surprise that you are from Noda😊.
I didn't know there was a sake brewery in Noda😅.
There used to be a Meiji margarine factory in my neighborhood and it had a unique smell 😁. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㊸
Oita ⑤.
Old Matsu Sake Brewery in Hita City
Shochu is the main product here.
Polishing ratio 60% Gohyakumangoku/Akebono 14%, Sake degree +1
Acidity 1.4, 1210 yen
It is clear, light and dry, but also has a little sweetness and fruity taste. A beautiful sake.
I imagined it to be more classic, but it was a little different.
If you ask me if it's modern, I'd say it's more on the classic side.
I thought Oita has a high level of quality.
Someone said that the level of Oita's shochu culture may have been raised due to competition with shochu 🤔.
There are many breweries that have the same toji (master brewer) for both sake and shochu, so I personally thought that they are feeding back their skills and experience. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㊷
Oita ④
Hisaya Honten in Usuki City
I've seen a raw sake called USUKI here at Haretoke. I think the brewery here used to be in line at Yodobashi 🤔.
Polishing ratio 40%, Yamadanishiki 15%, Sake degree +4, Acidity 1.4, 2970 yen
Full ginjo aroma. Clean and refreshing taste. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㊶
Oita ③.
Kuncho Sake Brewery in Hita City
I've bought Pink Nigori at Aeon in the past.
Pink nigori is sold at Yamaya and many other places.
Polishing ratio 60%, Kame-no-o 14%, Sake degree ±0, 1760 yen
The NEXT series seems to be raw sake.
Slightly sweet and crisp.
This is really delicious, but where can I buy it?
Is there a special distributor? Or is it distributed by a wholesaler? グラbouken-san, excuse me here as well. I have not seen Kaorucho in Fukuoka either. It takes a little over an hour to get to the brewery from Fukuoka, so I haven't seen it except when I bought it at the brewery... 🍶 It is a historical brewery, but it is also a little modern and tasty. boukenHello, Mr. Gura.
I don't see it even in nearby Fukuoka 💦.
The label is very eye-catching and I think it would be very popular if you marketed it 🤔. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㊵
Oita ②
Sato Sake Brewery in Takeda City
Senbazuru, I've seen it before at Yodobashi 🤔.
I think it was also on the stock list of a liquor store in Moriguchi that carries only rare brands in Kansai.
But I've never bought it, so this is my first time to drink it.
Polishing ratio 60%, Hachitan-Nishiki 16-17%, Sake degree +7, Acidity 1.8
1,700 yen
It is gorgeous but dry and mature.
I thought it was great that the Kyushu breweries were drinking Gura-san at a high rate 😆. boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㊴
Oita ①
Bungo Meisho in Saiki City!
I drank Junmai Ginjo last year, but I think there is only one shop in Kansai that handles it, and it is a sake that is rarely seen.
Polishing ratio 50%, Yamadanishiki from Saiki City, 15 degrees, Sake degree +1, Acidity 1.6
Abelia yeast, 2,400 yen
Fruity and refreshing, partly due to the flower yeast.
It has a strong Jun Dai character rather than flower yeast character. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
