It is fresh and tasty with a good amount of sweetness for its sake strength, but the slight bitterness tightens it up. It goes well with meals and is also delicious on its own. This is one of the bottles I harvested in Chitose on the way to work. This one might be the main one! It went well with sagari with sundiner sauce, squid ring salad, and stew.

This is my favorite green can of the Funaguchi series, which I like to try when I find it this time of year. Fruity and fresh, you don't feel the alcohol for its strength, but you get drunk very quickly. It goes well with chicken giblets stewed in soy sauce and soba noodles, which is a recipe taken from the Kenmin Show.

It went well with the pork bowl at Drive-in Ito (Chitose Airport Branch).

It has a strong alcohol taste for its alcohol content and a slightly classical flavor, so it is better served with a meal than as a stand-alone sake. The champagne (from Italy) that the owner prepared for my father-in-law's birthday when he came to Sapporo was also delicious, with a pleasant sweetness and aroma.

The umami of the rice from the middle to the latter half of the bottle is impressive, and it is more suitable to be served with a meal than as a stand-alone wine. It went well with herring in tomato sauce and simmered taro and squid.

It went well with dinner at Marukoma Onsen Ryokan on Lake Shikotsu, where I visited with my parents-in-law in Nagasaki.
